We just completed a new kitchen using a large amount of granite. Granite Factory did a great job in all respects. Erick was helpful in guiding us through selection and design. His prices were extremely reasonable. The granite was delivered and installed with expert precision and, equally importantly, only two weeks after we ordered it. Just to be clear: Our granite was less expensive and installed much more quickly than with any of the big box stores, and the service and responsiveness were terrific. We will return to Granite Factory for any future projects.

The process was smooth. We were in a couple of times trying to decide what we wanted. Pricing was easy to understand. We made a choice and worked with Erick on picking out a slab. The installation was trouble free and done quick. Everything turned out beautifully and we are very happy. I do want to add that the store isnt fancy but that is obviously what helps keep the prices low. They get the same products from the same places as many other granite suppliers but less markup. The only difference comes down to installers. These guys did a great job and the seam I have is barely noticeable. This is as good as it get! I highly recommend.

Prices and selection were great. The scheduling process went very smoothly. Someone came out to measure our kitchen within three days of making our down payment. Installation came about two weeks later and went off without a hitch. All of the workers were always on time, and very courteous and professional. They even did a great job of cleaning up afterwards! No complaints from our family, Granite Factory did a great job.

Well, I knew nothing about granite countertops for my small kitchen. This review is all over the place because of my experience. I wanted to buy local and came across Granite Factory. When you sign the contract they (Erik) were very “authentic and kind”, after that It was a terrible experience for me. Wasn’t clear on the 3 week cut time, but you came to measure without the cabinets being installed, lied and told me you would try and “fit me in” because the cut was “so small” that never happened you just wanted to string me along and on the day of delivery you scheduled my time from 2-4, the installers were nice but they didn’t show until 5:40/6:00. Don’t tell me your power was out, everyone has cell phones on delivery day. Was afraid that they would delay my install for the next day if I complained, so I remained pleasant until the install and now I can review. I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy. Do your research and if it sounds to good to be true walk away. I would also like to add that Erik (owner/employee) talked to me as if I was a child, very disrespectful and the lies after lies, but he took my check.Beware. My counter is great, there was a lot of pain behind that counter top. Didn’t look at the bad reviews until later, which was totally my fault. Google Reviews are really old.

Erick was very helpful and informative. The processing time was much faster than nearly all local competitors at around 3 weeks. It fit exactly like it should. I felt the price was fair- in line with, or slightly better than my other quotes. I will continue to use granite factory for future projects.

Wow, we are really glad we stumbled upon Granite Factory. Erick and the team were extremely helpful, transparent and efficient from beginning to end of our mini-kitchen remodel. They were VERY easy to work with and we didn't stress about a thing. Our new countertops look even better than we thought they would! Would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a fair-priced, high quality, smooth installation kitchen remodel.

I am writing this review very very late. I had purchased quartz countertops from here roughly 16 months ago. While i cannot speak on price because to be honest i didnt do alot of shopping. Everything was great. Erik was helpful and showed me multiple prducts. He was straight forward with how scheduling worked and the process. He was not a pushy sales man which was very nice. I would say everything has been great. I had one small seem where two pieces met at the faucet, but i put a little bit of white caulk in it and we are all good. In all great experience. And boy was it beautiful in the end.

Price, prompt service and quality of work was fantastic. From order to install, we had our counters in 2-3wks (it probably would have been less than that, had we received our sink on time) and the price beat any other quote we received. The quartz counter tops look beautiful! Eric even ordered 2 sample slabs that he didn’t have in stock so I could see it in person. Eric always answered and returned my calls promptly. Once my kitchen is done, I will share the photos of the finished kitchen remodel! Thanks Eric!

Eric was great to work with. He responded to my emails and answered my questions. The selection was great and the prices were much better than the box stores. The scheduling of the measurement and installation were exactly what Eric told me. There were no unexpected costs. Professional throughout the entire process. But the most important thing is the quality of the final product and installation. Absolutely top notch! The installers were great. They spent extra time making everything perfect even though my cabinet installation was not. The seams are so good. I will use them for all of my future projects.

We had a very good experience from purchase through installation. Our kitchen counters look great! We had a complicated layout with our existing cabinets and the sink and counters fit perfectly. They showed up on time and were courteous each step of the way. Their pricing is very good, their work is professional and the final product is great.

Just had our beautiful marble installed by Granite Factory. I give them an A++, for Quality, Service, and Pricing. Eric was awesome to work with. Knowledgeable, helpful and upfront about the entire process. This is our 3rd installation of counter-tops in a home. I did my research and footwork. Saved half with Granite Factory. Will be contacting them when ready to re-do baths.

We had a great experience with The Granite a Factory. It was very easy to walk in with measurements and get a quick quote, that completely outlined every charge, no hidden fees. Everyone was very helpful and professional and everything was installed within 4 weeks. Our quote from Home Depot was $500 more and would have taken 6-8 weeks. We also had some older cabinets that we were concerned about, but the installation guys were very helpful and told us what we needed to do to make a few fixes to make it work and it turned out great.

Go somewhere else, this place is so unprofessional. Once they have your money, they check out. They did a half ass job on my desk top. Look at google and BBB reviews also.. Seemed legitimate at first, I was wrong. Received estimate, was told they needed to come to my home and measure. They did, 1 week later they came to do the installation. Was told 1:00-3:00 was the range installers would arrive. I had to call at 3:30 since no one arrived, was told they would be there shortly. They arrived at 4:20...I had to be somewhere at 6:00, since they were late I had to leave installers in my home(very uncomfortable feeling). Installers wanted payment, I paid them(job was not complete at time). When I saw install, it looked good. Only issue is my desk top which I was installing was not there. I had to wait a few days for a response and was told they would get me the top. This took more than a week. I received the top, there was a chip in it and it was seemed in the middle. Keep in mind this is a desk top.... Spent a lot of time going back and forth with Erick. I asked why would you not tell a customer this would be seemed? He told me he assumed I wouldn't want it to be one piece because it would cost more. The communication was extremely poor. I received many excuses and was told that not much money was made on this job. Not my problem, last time I checked I didn't provide the estimate. I was however the one who paid the bill to a professional, expecting the best. I wasted a lot of time and came to realize Erick is not going to make this right. He did offer for me to look at other colors to get a close match for a solid piece, but that is not what we want. Too late now.. Save the time and a headache, go somewhere else.

Online hours say 10 am and store says 11. It's 1143 and door is still locked. Was planning to purchase countertops here but if you can't even adhere to your own hours of operation, I don't think you're worth trusting with such an expensive project.

Granite Factory installed our volga blue granite on Jan 12, 2013. I was initially pleased with the price and the experience. However, I cannot report a satisfactory long term experience. During the purchasing process, I asked if Granite Factory was a reseller or if they sold the granite directly. The answer I was given and the facts did not line up. The granite was actually furnished by a company called Factory Plaza, Inc in Illinois. Maybe they are owned by the same owners maybe not, I was just surprised by this. More importantly, however, was the crack that developed in front of my built in cooktop less than a year after installation. I visited the store with pictures of the issue and expected Granite Factory to visit my home to review the situation. Instead, I was accused of dropping something on the granite. Nothing was dropped on the granite. It cracked and Granite Factory has refused to even come and look at the issue. I am definitely not a satisfied customer. Erick the manager was hostile and refused to take any steps to resolve. Recommend looking elsewhere. Check out the other reviews on other places like BBB.

Granite Factory is such a shady company it made me nervous the second after I paid.... First-off, the storefront awning advertises $25/sf and the website advertises $27/sf. I figured, no big deal, I understand prices may have gone up. After I was provided a quote for what was advertised at $27/sf... I divided the total by the square foot that I was receiving and it came out to $45/sf! That is insane. I further asked Erick, (Owner? Manager?) to break down this cost and he responded with "I don't know... That's just how it is" and refused to tell me why the price was so far off. At this point I was at a time crunch and had to move forward. The communication throughout the process was awful as it would take them days to get back to me. When I called, I constantly was told "I'm so busy I haven't gotten to it yet". I understand if you are busy, but if it takes you days to respond, maybe it is time for more employees? When I asked for the lead time and the install date I received vague answers every time. "It will be next week maybe" is a favorite line of Erick. Finally I called him to ask when my surveyor was coming and he gave me the not very believable answer of "Oh, I have your file in front of me right now, He can be there tomorrow", which was frustrating of the short notice. The install was the same way after I asked for specific dates multiple times. Erick acts as if it's his first day on the job, every time you talk to him. No idea what is going on at his business. The Surveyor didn't us lasers, after telling me he had lasers, but preferred not to use them because he "didn't need them", and now my granite has up to a 1/4" gap in many places due to wall in my older home. The only good thing that came of this experience was the installers. They did a great job with what they had. They were nice, and cut around some areas I wasn't expecting them to be able to do. Unfortunately, the final disappointment is that I ordered a single roundover edge, that in the store rounded all the way down to the bottom. I was assured by Erick that this is the edge I would receive. When I came home from work to see that it was barely a rounded edge, I was very disappointed... I tried to find the best out of every disappointing situation with Granite Factory, but every time something new had to come up. Upon payment, I had 30 days to pay and was receiving phone calls from Erick badgering me to get them the money right away as if they were going to go out of business without it... Maybe it would be better for them if they did just close up shop... I would not suggest using Granite Factory. The prices are advertised lower than you will receive. At that point, try Menards or Home Depot. Erick - If you want better reviews, I suggest providing a better service instead of combating them on Yelp

Granite Factory was solely recommended to me by someone who saw them on the web. I admit. I forgot about Angie's List and my other sources of referrals. I rate the quality of the product and installation an A for excellent. I rate the sales method an F for misleading. The quotes we worked with showed the sq ft of the granite (32.97 sq.ft.), in a separate area of the quote it showed $38 a sq.ft, it did not show the dollar amount for the granite, i.e sq.ft. X $38. It showed the sink cut out cost of $150, edging cost of $6 - $104 total (more on this later) and then the final total cost of $1,804. Then their contract showed the cost of the granite $1,253, sink cut out cost $150, edging cost $104 and an "Additional: $297" line item for a total of $1,804. Their quote did not show the actual dollar amount for the granite and no mention of the "Additional: $297" line item, but it did show the total cost of $1,804. Just before the countertops were to be delivered I was discussing the great deal I got to one of my fellow Milwaukee Real Estate Association investor. I went to e-mail him my quote when I noticed the "Additional: $297" line item on the contract. That is when I started to look more closely at the quote and contract. Here are my issues: 1. First, I did not do the math on the quote and look more closely on the contract to see the discrepancies that I am about to discuss. So shame on me, I accept the price I paid. Hopefully you will learn from my experience and that is why I am spending the amount of time I am to write this review. 2. The edging was quoted as $6.00 per linear foot. The price on the quote was $104. I had 15 linear feet, which should have cost me $90. 3. By not presenting the granite price on the quote, $1,253, it was not readily apparent that the granite price, plus sink cutout, plus edging didn't add up to the total cost on the quote of $1,804. 4. Because I did not do the math on the cost of the granite plus edging, plus sink cutout, I did not notice that the individual items did not match the total project cost on the quote. 5. Because we did not do a line item check on the contract when the total contract price matched the quote price, we did not notice the unexplained "Additional: $297" line item. 6. When I called and spoke with the manager, Erick Kramarz, his explanation for the "Additional: $297" was that the computer calculates the costs, it is for sales tax (sales tax on $1,253+104+150 is $82.89), it is an additional warehouse cost, what does it matter as long as the figure on the quote matches the contract price and we are the lowest in town that is why we get so much business. 7. I felt that the sales process was very misleading and deceptive. 8. Dividing the "Additional: $297" by the sq. ft. of granite we purchased raises the sq. ft. price of the granite from $38 to $47.01 which I know is not competitive with other sources. 9. Had the quote listed the "Additional: $297" line item amount on the contract as the cost of the kitchen sink, sales tax, delivery mileage, etc., this review would have a totally different flavor and rating to it. Although I doubt I would have bought from there if I saw the line item costs first. In conclusion, as I said in the beginning, the finished product is excellent, the installers took their time and in my opinion did a thorough and professional job. So we love the end results. What we totally object to was what we consider less than open and honest sales practices. For these reasons, we DO NOT recommend this company. As a followup to Granite's response on my Angie's List review, yes, the quote price and the contract price were the same, but the "Additional: $297" line item on the contract was not represented on the quote.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Granite Factory. At first, I was impressed by the relatively straightforward pricing and process compared to other quotes I received, so I decided to use them to replace the countertops on my original, 1940's cabinets. Everything was great until the installation day, when the installers were unable to deliver the countertops because the sink was physically too large front-to-back for the cabinets, which is something that should have been noted in the measurement. Someone was sent out to re-measure, and said that the sink would definitely not fit, which would cause the countertops to have to be re-cut. At this point, Granite Factory stopped returning calls. Two weeks after the re-measurement, now seven weeks start to finish, I finally got a hold of Granite Factory, and was promised that "they were working on the math," and they were 99% sure they could make it work. Upon calling a few days later after not hearing from them, I was told that there was still no answer and they'd know soon. A few days after that, I was told that they would not be able to make it work as-is. They blamed my countertop depth for the mistake, not the fact that the measurements were not taken accurately. Since I had gone over two months without countertops at this point, and no discount was offered, I decided to walk from the deal. If your countertops are completely standard, and you don't mind very poor communication, these guys might be fine to use. Otherwise, I'd strongly advise looking elsewhere. Above is the original review, below is my response to the the manager's comments: I do rather resent being painted as a customer who was looking for things to go wrong with the process, as the manager of Granite Factory has implied. Giving the company a full month to sort things out beyond their contractual obligation to deliver the granite is quite patient, in my mind. Further, my cabinets, although old, are in fine shape. The granite installer I used after demanding a refund (this was agreed to very begrudgingly) had no issues whatsoever installing granite countertops in a timely manner. The fact of the matter is, Granite Factory did not take an accurate measurement the first time around, and expected me to modify my kitchen remodel plan by eliminating the granite backsplash that I had ordered. And no, a 20% discount after many weeks of frustrating, fruitless attempts to get in touch with this company, without a functioning kitchen in my home was not enough for me to continue doing business with them. If expecting my calls to be returned and guarantees to be kept makes me demanding or a difficult customer to work with, then fine, I guess I'm a difficult customer. But when I'm having something custom-made for my house, I don't expect to hear excuses like "your cabinets are to blame," even though someone came out to measure them. I don't doubt that there are many people who have been satisfied with Granite Factory's work. I am not one of them.
