I can’t recommend these guys enough, so easy to work with, incredible show room with endless options. I checked out several other companies and the customer service Michael and his team offered was top notch, not to mention their competitive prices as well. Will definitely be using these guys in the future!

I cannot praise this group enough from a great selection of stone to quick scheduling to perfect installation. Mike and Chris gave great thought to cutting the stone to catch the flow of subtle tones in the granite. The finished product is beautiful and best of all the total cost was reasonable. If you want personalized service, quality staff and excellent prices go to Granite Direct, a small company with great service.

We had such an amazing experience here today! My business partner and I are looking at building a desk for our office and came in with a specific budget. Chris was extremely helpful and informative. We have been to several other granite warehouses and this was by far the BEST experience. It felt low key, but very professional and we love that they do it all in house and we don't need to find our own fabricator! 10/10 experience and we are so excited to work with them for our project.

Michael and his team were easy to work with and completed a flawless installation at my home. Plus, the selection of granite was incredible - so many beautiful pieces to choose from! I picked the Cygnus which is like having Mother Nature's art on display at my home. I couldn't be more happy and am glad I selected Granite Direct!

Michael was incredibly helpful responding to my construction questions before installation. Taras and his son, our installers, were incredibly professional. They arrived at the start of the arrival time interval, did an incredibly detailed templating of the project and really seemed to want to make the outcome incredibly accurate and optimal. In our case, with our needs/dimensions, the key was to minimize waste and maximize width of pieces to give us a good overhang. Taras also had the option of cutting the U shaped countertop in three pieces but, harder for him, he cut in two pieces to minimize seams. Incredible job, Granite Direct! Would work with them again in a heartbeat!

Go somewhere else! The stone itself is pretty but they installed my counter without saying anything about the weight or installing any kind of support so it sags at the seam and there is a huge gap between the backsplash and counter. They came back and added silicon that will likely yellow over time as the fix. Looks terrible.

What a fantastic experience from start to finish! Michael helped us select the slabs - quartzite - for our kitchen reno. Educated us on the benefits and cons of each stone type and provided prompt, courteous service. The fabrication and installation team were incredibly clean and flexible around our changing schedule. We found their prices to be among the best in town too!

We love our new quartzite countertop from Granite Direct. The installation crew was very professional and friendly. The installation went very smoothly, and extra effort was even made to install the quartzite with no seams whatsoever. Great experience and great selection as well. We highly recommend Granite Direct for first-rate quality and service.

Great experience and great price!! This project was completed back in May of 2017 but I am just having the time to write a review. Michael, the owner assisted at the beginning but then Chris (which I believe he is now the manager) took over. Both allowed me to browse several times their inventory. Chris kept up a good disposition the several times I stopped by their store before making a final decision, he was alway open to offer his expert opinion on the pros and cons of our ideas. In one ocassion, he even took the time to set the slap in sunlight to get a better look and pics. Once measured I went back to shop and was able to pick the pieces that were prominently utilized for counter, island and kitchen sink. Their fabricator and the installer's crew were professional and curteous as well. The entire process from start to finish was easy, with no pressure and professional. My countertops are BEAUTIFUL!, and on top of that I would recommend Granite Depot in a heartbeat. RL

We selected a slab of granite in mid-July. Great price, and both Michael and his wife (whose name escapes me) were helpful and patient. based on our schedule, we had the measure done about a week later. Then we visited Tarus's shop and laid out the different counters and backsplashes for maximum use and pattern display. Again based on our schedule, we had demolition and install done today. 6 1/2 hours and 3 bathrooms and laundry are looking great. We feel like we made a good decision both for cost and service. Everyone was very conscientious and pleasure to work with. BTW I read the negative reviews and find them difficult to reconcile with my experience. Also the final cost came in about $60 a square foot including removing 4 countertops and 6 sink cutouts and over 30 feet of backsplash. Give these guys a look.

I bought granite for two properties from Granite Direct. These guys are professionals and will work with you to make sure you are satisfied. We changed our minds three times about the granite we wanted to use for our house and every time Chris was accommodating and understanding. He walked with me to another store looking for the granite we wanted. Their prices beat all other competition (stone collection is far more expensive for the same granite). I highly recommend Granite Direct and you will too once you use them.

A couple of weeks ago I had Granite Direct put granite in our master bathroom and utility room and I am thrilled. I dealt with Chris--who was absolutely great about getting back to me when I called or emailed with a question. The company has a substantial selection of beautiful granite in a wide variety of colors and styles. Chris helped me when I needed help--but left me alone when I just wanted to wander around. The price was really reasonable and the service could not have been better. I checked out 2 other companies and am so happy I went with these guys. Their installation team also did a beautiful job and everything moved along smoothly and on time. What more could you ask for? I'm happy as a clam with the company and their work and highly recommend them. At least--give them a chance to earn your business.

Stop reading reviews! You don't need to go any farther! Caleb at Granite Direct is all you need to know! From the 1st time I walked in the door, it was a completely different and far better experience than at any of the several other granite suppliers I'd visited. Hmm, what could be the phrase....does "distant attentiveness" make sense? Caleb was definitely there to help with any questions I had, but not hovering as if trying to rush me along. The selection is not the largest in the city, to be sure, but diverse enough that anyone should find at least a couple of slabs they like. After I spent maybe an hour going around and around, unable to decide, Caleb asked a few questions about the space, the light and the effect I wanted. He walked around the warehouse with me and pointed out on individual pieces what colors worked best, if a subtle effect could be expected or a more dynamic one, how a piece would reflect light, how it would work with the adjoining room. I've done several renovations before, and wasn't my first time to the granite rodeo, but no one had ever made it so easy for me to make a decision. When I first went to Granite Direct, it was because a fabricator I had worked with in the past sent me there. Without going into all the problems with that person/company, NOT working with him was perhaps the best thing of all! Caleb sent me an artist! Vataly was superb! And that he was so well mannered and respectful of my home was a bonus! Every measurement was very, very precise and he measured and remeasured to be sure it was exactly right in my completely out of kilter kitchen. The breakfast bar that I wanted was just a little unusual, and Wow! did it ever come out perfectly! He cut the granite so the veins were in exactly in the most attractive places. And delivery was exactly on time, in spite of just having an accident that put him in a cast! Oh, did I mention cost? While some fabricators, who will remain nameless, wanted me to buy another whole slab of granite, to make his work easier, Caleb furnished Vataly (VDM Granite Unlimited) with the extra remnant needed to keep my cost down! What a guy! Amazing customer service! I 'll never go anywhere else for granite and neither should you. A+, 5 star experience from the beginning to the end!

We bought our granite in 2017 from Granite Direct. On the day of install one piece of granite was broken by the installer. They installed all the granite in our bathrooms, but not the kitchen (which is one of the pieces that broke), at our request. The owner of Granite Direct tried to find another piece that matched (we had the only two slabs of it) but could not find another piece. He offered to replace it with another slab of granite (which we didn't find any we liked there). He rectified the situation with big discounts on the bathroom granite. The owner of Granite Direct tried to accommodate us and do the best he could for the situation. For that I would while heartedly recommend them, as they are honest and responsive. The only thing I would recommend to them is to hire another a fabricator/installer, as the one they use didn't seem to understand the properties of granite as well as they should. They are the cheapest place for granite in town!

Great service, great prices, very quick installation. I shopped around and this was the best granite price I got, plus inexpensive fabrication & installation. From the time I went to the shop to having countertops installed at my house was 4 days. Highly recommended. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is the installers didn't really speak English, so make sure they know exactly what they have to do before they come over.

Very nice people. Good service. Good prices. But the reason I am writing this review is that they went out of their way to help me. First off, they stayed after closing time because I was running late to get there. Second, when I tried to call them, my cell phone cut out, and I couldn't tell if they could even hear me. Instead of just hanging up on me, they called me back. Third, I needed an A-stand so that I move some granite and they sold me one of theirs, but when they realized I needed a bigger stand than they first thought, instead of turning me away because they didn't have one readily available, they took the time to rearrange some of their granite to make such a stand available for me. So it's an A plus for customer service, and besides, they have some really nice granite in there, and their prices are very good. And they were likeable.

Boy, this was a good, but bad situation. I would actually give 2.8 stars if I could. The first Good/Bad began when I walked in the door. There was a womon at the front desk and 2 guys in the side office. She looked up at me and did not speak, welcome me, or even acknowledge my presence. She then got up and joined the men in the other office (BAD) After a couple minutes I decided to just go into the warehouse. When I came back there was a very friendly, very helpful young man at the desk who moved slabs around for me and engaged in good conversation while writing up my invoice (GOOD) The selection seemed a little thin (BAD) but the prices were great, the lowest I have discovered in my search (GOOD). I ordered a slab for my L-shaped counter and a small piece for the 5 foot pass-thru for about $1900. The template guy showed up as scheduled, was nice enough and very quick (GOOD). A few days later the installers arrived -one Russian who did speak English and 2 latins who did not- they were not enthusiastic and not very communicative (BAD) They brought in the two 1/2 slabs, laid them on the cabinets and started to do their thing. They needed to cut 2 notches for my outlets that not only made a huge dust cloud but sprayed residue on the upper cabinets. I wish they had warned me about that so I could have covered things up (BAD). The skinny guy let me know he needed a rag. I grabbed my paper towel roll and peeled off a few sheets. He then reached for the roll grunting "he need" and I pulled away, telling him that was my last roll and he could not have it. He seemed perturbed but I think for $1900 they can bring their own damn towels! (BAD) After what I thought was a dry fit they started working on closing the seam. That didn't end up so perfect, but I didn't exactly install the cabinets perfectly level so that's a (WASH). I asked if they were going to apply silicone adhesive to the cabinet edge to adhere the slab, but they showed me these cubes of wood they would use to glue the cabinet and slab together underneath. (ODD) While the Russian guy installed the pass-thru piece the 2 latinos went on and on in Spanish about whatever, but I did hear one say: "No, she doesn't understand Spanish" (Hey, I did take it in high school, I know some words) But I guess they felt comfortable saying who-knows-what in front of me, since I passed the class with C's and D's! (BAD) Even the Russian guy got tired of their blabbering since he scolded them to: "Stop speaking Mexican"! Which they didn't. They installed the undermount sink, using the same wood cubes instead of the hardware that came with the sink. (QUESTIONABLE) They then started polishing and cleaning up. I asked if they were planning to caulk around the noticeable gap at the pass-thru and he told the fat guy to do that. After grudgingly caulking the side I was on he asked if I wanted him to do the other side. -Oh no, just leave it half-ass finished! -Duh. I said yes and he grudgingly did it. The Russian dude asked if I was pleased, which for me, was a loaded question but I did like the granite so I said yes. (GOOD) He took the check and waited in the truck for the other 2. After the skinny guy applied the tiniest amount of sealer to the counter I motioned to the pass-thru and he dug up the same rag and wiped it across the piece at the pass-thru then hurriedly joined the other 2 guys who were waiting in the truck. I was so happy to see him leave I couldn't bare to ask for more sealer and deal with him coming back. As you can see I had a very mixed experience with these guys, BUT I would go back again because of the price, and it is a very nice looking counter. However, I would be extremely diligent about their work and I would lower my expectations considerably since, after all, you get what you pay for.

I had worked with this company before and been very pleased. They are under new management but still call themselves Granite Direct. The showroom has full slabs for easy viewing. I was told the slab that appealed to me most had been their best seller the past two years. Nowhere on any of the slabs is there an indication what the material is. I assumed granite since that's the name of the company. It wasn't until one of the installers mentioned it was dolomite that I realized what I had bought. The man who worked with me in the store was extremely nice and helpful but did not give any indication that I was not getting granite as their company name implies. He should have told me. I never would have purchased it had I know it was dolomite which is much more prone to staining and scratching. It's too late now. I have called the store and said they need to label the slabs as other stores I visited had done: Granite, dolomite, marble, or quartz so buyers know what they are getting.

This is a tough review to write as I generally don't like doing negative reviews. I recently bid out a project for quartz counters. I chose Granite Direct because they had the lowest bid. I was really really organized in letting them know exactly what I wanted. I spoke directly with the owner about the requirements and then sent in a typed document that listed the details. After paying more than 50% down and scheduling the install, they came back and raised the price three times for items that they didn't include in the bid that I did include in the specs I sent them. This was such a bait and switch. In the end, they were significantly more expensive than the other companies. They had a "if you don't like it, cancel the project" response. I would have, but the project was very time-sensitive and they knew that. They should take business 101. Communication was pretty poor throughout. They were calling me about paying my remaining amount due even though they didn't send me an invoice. I asked for the invoice, and nowhere on it did it directly say what I owed. The counters turned out fine and were delivered on time... just much more expensive than I thought. They subcontract the fabrication and installation of the counters to a company across the street (Milestone Granite). Those guys were great and they sell direct to consumers. Check out their reviews and compare to Granite Direct. Just save yourself the headache and go directly to Milestone Granite.

I thought we had selected a good vendor for our granite and the early stages went well. When the install happened things looked good except they swapped the island and window sinks, so now our Pots and Pans sink is in the island (not a great outcome). They also didn't drill holes for the disposal switches and when they sent someone out to do that they didn't have the right tool so they couldn't do those holes. Now I also found that I need a counter trimmed so that I can get my Butcher Block installed (3/8" out of square). After promising to come out several times across the past three weeks, now they aren't even returning my calls. I can't get my dishwasher installed and now it is pushing back my Certificate of occupancy and may mean we don't close until after the Fed. raises interest rates. This granite could cost us thousands of dollars in finance charges so I will end up paying someone else to do this work. Prices seemed good (but we didn't shop around much so I am not sure - over $10,000 for kitchen and 5 window sills). The after sale service has me wishing we had used a different company.

June 2013 Well, you read the rest of the reviews and figure it out. I hired these guys because they came in with a little over half what the other companies were coming in with. I read the other reviews on the other companies in the Denver area and most have complaints. I thought they were an in-house operation, but the farm it all out to fabricators and installers so the have little control and quality over each job. They get in and out. Don't expect that they care. First, they brought the granite to my home uncut with the marks still on the pieces. They forgot to cut it to the measurements the guy initally took.. WHAT?????? They ended up cutting them to fit (sort of) in my condo creating a lot of dust. The "stupervisor" ended up dropping off his "Granite Monkeys" and getting them started and leaving. He came back at the end to finish up the loose ends and leave. They didn't even finish up fastening my dishwasher to the counter and never said a word. I called twice and Shane said he would send someone out to fasten it with brackets. They never showed up. Today I got home and the dishwasher brakets were rubberbanded to my storm door. Really a class operation. I won't use these guys again. Too many hands in the pot that are unqualified to do what they are doing.

I would recommend going elsewhere, especially if you are female. I don't typically write reviews but I am so unhappy with the work I would like to share. Chris initially came across professional but quickly made me feel as though he did not have time for my job or care to correct the situation after work was complete. There is a seam in the countertop at the sink and the quartzite is sagging where it meets which creates about a quarter inch gap between the counter and backsplash. I called and emailed pictures to Chris, to which he did not respond but had the installer call and come out to correct the problem They filled the quarter inch gap with silicone and said that is all they can do. Please see uploaded pics if you are interested to see the work.

Went with pictures of existing countertops and measurements and spoke with the new owner Michael B. Expected to get the same countertops, in the new granite we just purchased but the owner without telling us decided that they are going to drop the height of countertops by 3". When they did that the drawers did not go in the island cabinet because now the cooktop was too low and in the way and the oven does not go in all the way.The owner response was that this is not his problem because he is not responsible for cabinets. Also now the backsplash is too short with a 3' gap to the new countertop. Also attempting to bring the island countertop in they damaged the walls in my hallway, the stair's trim and broke light fixture. It took a painter 2 days to re-plaster and re-paint the entire hallway at a cost of $600.Owner response was that this are just minor damages. First they lied to us saying that it was not possible to maintain the same height then they admitted that it could have been done but the cost would have been higher and they did not think that we can effort. My advice to anyone thinking of using Granite Direct is: you do not want to do this...

I purchased granite from here for my kitchen. I specifically stated more than once that I needed this granite to perform well in a semi- professional environment. I used my designer friend's fabricator to install and seal because he has had a long and success track record with her. The first weekend left my counters with rings etched. Within a month the area by the sink was etched from water spray. The granite chipped from tapping a spice jar, dropping a knife from 2" and a slow-cooker lid sliding off from 5". You might think I am careless, but know I don't leave spills or wet counters and have consistently sealed them. The owner finally came to see them, would barely step in the kitchen door and proclaimed it was regular wear and tear. I have a degree in interior design and KNOW this is not normal. Either he doesn't know how granite should perform (not like marble, btw) or he deliberately misled me. Would NEVER do business with these crooks.

Granite Direct was hired to install granite counter tops in my kitchen, but not back splash. They needed to remove the existing back splash to install the counter tops. They destroyed the entire back splash area, leaving gaping holes revealing the insulation in spots, and most of the area the drywall was down to the back paper. I got a bid to repair this area, and it was $500. The entire 14' x 7" area needed new drywall. I have contacted the owner, Michael Bullock, and he offered to pay for the drywall (~$12). Even though he admitted no knowledge of back splash removal techniques, he said there is likely a cheaper way to repair it. There are, indeed, less destructive ways of removing the back splash that would have not left it in such a terrible state, but the installers did not care because they were not going to have to repair it. They brute-forced it with a crow bar tool. Note that the good reviews on Yelp were when the company was owned by someone else. Michael has been owner for about a year.

Update - now have 2 seams coming apart after about 9 months. At least it gives me a chance to bring in a professional to make a proper color match, as Granite Direct screwed that up too. Please do not do this to yourselves folks, you can do better.

Do NOT do business here!!! Completely unprofessional and they won't answer their phones once they have your money. The installer, Anthony's voicemail was full and impossible to get a hold of. I tried for days to get someone to answer the phone at the shop... No one answered. Left a voicemail... No one returned my call. Anthony told me that Chris was the manager... Chris denied being the manager. Finally I requested my money back because I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone and was told I would be charged a 4% restocking fee. Restocking what? A slab that hasn't moved? There is no paperwork that states there is a restocking fee, and apparently no manager to speak to. I will be getting an attorney involved.

I ordered granite from here but when we went to check out the granite it was cracked. They were going to install it anyways! We told them no and decided to go with a different fabricator (Iron Clad was the fabricator and charged us through granite direct without us ever signing anything or saying okay!) They then said we would get a full refund and it's been over a month and we have not gotten a refund. Do not do anything with this company (or Iron Clad Fabricators). They will charge your card without your permission and not install the product. Very Frustrating to say the least.

I called them and managed to get only one sentence out, which was "Hi, could I get a rough estimate on a granite bathroom vanity top?". Apparently the wrong thing to ask, because the guy grumpily said (without even asking what SIZE the vanity was) that it "isn't worth my time to sell something so small, because people are too picky about the granite" and then added that he "would rather throw pieces in the garbage than sell them for vanities", and then proceeded to HANG UP on me. Um. Wait. What? I never even got another sentence out! I was utterly speechless! This spoke volumes to me about the "value" of a customer to them. I can assure you that I will NOT be calling them for ANY future granite needs! Pathetic.

This company's work is inconsistent and they are extremely unprofessional. We used them when we remodeled our kitchen last year and had no issues. So we decided to go back to them this summer to install a bathroom counter and have had a horrible experience. Not only did it take weeks to finally get someone to come out and measure the space and then weeks to have the granite cut and installed, it was cut or measured incorrectly making the faucet unable to be installed. Instead of taking responsibility and correcting the mistake they pushed us off for almost a month to then tell us they would not correct their error. They told me that it was our fault for picking a "custom faucet" (the custom faucet was a moderately priced one from Home Depot and after going back 90% of the faucets are set up the exact same way, and since they had already drilled holes the 2 faucets that may have been small enough to fit their error, would not). Our bank is now pulling the payments and we will have to have the job re-done by another company. Note that I am 7+ months pregnant and was told to limit going up and down the stairs and this is our only bathroom upstairs which has been unusable for a month (information they are very aware of). I will no longer recommend them to and of my clients (I am a Realtor and also work in property management) nor will I go back to them for future projects.

I will NEVER refer anyone here. They gave us a guarantee install date and didn't even bother to call and say it wouldn't happen that day. Then when the install day did come they gave us a window of arrival. Didn't show up. Never called. It was awful.

Louie charged my CC without a completed authorization form. The price went up 7K when they visited my house to template. I had to dispute my CC to get my deposit back Louie still has my granite sink he took when templating the house. I am in the process of filing small claims paperwork to retrieve my sink

DO NOT USE this company! In short, the quality of their work and customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with! Here's the long answer: they installed granite counters in my kitchen in 2012. They quoted me one price but after I had paid the deposit and the workers came to measure, I was told that the original quote was wrong and it would be a few hundred dollars more. I paid it (stupid of me) and they installed my counters. When they brought the stone into my house it already had a big chip out of it that they fixed with some kind of composite that is slightly noticeable. About a month later I noticed a green stain around a seam on my backsplash. After researching the cause on the internet, I learned it is due to the improper usE of whatever chemicals they use to join the pieces. After months of calling, emailing and even going to the shop, it was finally "fixed". There is still a visible darker are where the stain was, plus some white scratches and burns that won't come off since they had to use a torch on the repair work(that they had to borrow from me because they don't have their own?! Who are these jokers?!). I received a few very disrespectful emails from Louis, telling me I was an aggressive customer and hard to deal with. He literally told me I was LUCKY they even did my counters. (Seriously! UNLUCKY is more like it!) although I was nice to Louis on the phone, he wouldnt even let me speak and HUNG UP on me.horrible customer service. I ended up filing a complain against them with the BBB because it took 3 months for them to fix their terrible job. They also didn't seal the stone properly, and resealed it when they came out to do the repair. Even though it isn't fixed to my liking, I am cutting my losses because I don't want to deal with these idiots any longer. I wish I would have gone with someone who does quality work.

We had a poor experience with Granite Direct. The price was reasonable, but the installation was not what we expected. There were assumptions made about what we wanted (they thought we wanted the cheapest price), which caused the seam in the middle of the counter to have the "grain/pattern" of the granite going in different directions....picture horizontal lines meeting at a point then continuing on as vertical lines. (I have pictures if anyone wants to see them) When I tried to get this worked out with the owner, the only solution provided was completely unacceptable to me, as my solution was unacceptable to him. (I did not feel this problem was my fault so I was only willing to pay for materials). I would not recommend this company.

They had a decent price on a slab and a good delivery schedule. But the fabrication was terrible and the installation was worse. They cut the cooktop hole without proper dust control and sent granite dust all over the kitchen and dining room. Some of it landed on the new stainless refrigerator and scratched the surface. But the worst of it is that they didn't cut a corner square and now the whole peninsula piece is crooked with large uneven gaps at the walls. The Hungarian guy who owns this place has a nasty disposition and told me that the walls were crooked and its not his fault. Of course I paid for his guy to make a template first. Dealing with him about any problems is painful. He tells me its my problem. So I'm going to have to find someone else fix it and sue him for the cost. Save yourself some pain and go somewhere else.
