Shadi and his team at Granite Design Center did a wonderful job remodeling my 1950's house. After going through many bad experiences getting bids from other contractors, Shadi was recommended from one of my business customers who had had commercial work done with his team. Within 2 days of calling, Shadi arrived at my house with his whole team to give design ideas. My project was a whole house remodel. They took my house down to the studs, replaced all electrical, reworked the framing to expand the bathrooms and living room, installed a laundry room, installed new plumbing and moved gas lines, moved the a/c to the attic, replaced beams in the garage, refinished the kitchen cabinets, custom built new cabinets for the bathrooms and refinished the hardwood floors. The new flooring, quartz and tile work looks beautiful and I had more than enough choices to choose from at their retail store. Harold and Shawn were especially great at keeping me calm during the process. Thank you to all for making my home a home again.

The team at Granite Design Center were amazing. This was our first big remodel and we didn’t really know what we were doing. Shadi and the team helped us from start to finish and showed a genuine caring. From the first day they came with really good advice and taught us a lot about the process. They gave us great advice and were a fantastic sounding board for any ideas we came up with along the way. Shadi’s hands on approach made us very confident throughout the process. He shows up on site every day to oversee subcontractors and ensures everything is completed up to his exacting standards. If we had questions or issues, we would bring them up with Shadi as our point person and he would make sure it was taken care of. We can’t thank the team enough for their professionalism and their craftsmanship. Our bathroom turned out better than we could have expected. We will be using them for all future renovations and I highly recommend them everyone. Their customer service really sets them apart. In a world where customer service is disappearing, it’s obvious that is one of their core tenants. Overall 100% great experience!

We contracted Granite Design Center to fully remodel our master bath. Shadi and all of his subcontractors did a masterful job from start to finish. They worked tirelessly to complete our job in a month which was half the time some of the others said and at a fair price. The plumbing was expertly handled, the tiling results are superb, the custom cabinet is exactly what I envisioned and the wall prep and painting is flawless. We had an unexpected unrelated electrical issue and they were even able to take care of that problem for us. Shadi and his crew took pride in doing their work the right way to our satisfaction and provided help and guidance along the way. Our master bathroom came out even better than expected and we will be contacting them for any future needs as well. I highly recommend them for any remodeling needs. We had some water damage in our bathroom vanity that required it to be replaced. The Team at Granite Design Center did such a great job with our new vanity design and countertop in our bathroom, that we decided to replace our countertops in the kitchen, as well as in our 2 other bathrooms. We picked our stone, reviewed the template design, and then we waited for fabrication and our install date. The price we were quoted for the work was extremely reasonable. The install was done on schedule, as promised. GDC- Specifically Shadi, Harold (our favorite person on this entire planet), Juan, and their entire crew were absolutely incredible. One of our countertops took 8 guys to carry in, and they made it look so easy. They cleaned up after the install and polished our stone really nicely. HIGHLY Recommend this place if you’re considering a home remodel/kitchen or bath remodel. 10 stars if I could. Thank you GDC!

We were very pleased with Shadi and his team on this project. He would tell us exactly what time and who will be coming to our house that day and make an effort to stop by at the end of the day to ensure quality of the work done is up to his high standard. If he was unable to stop by, he would call to see how everything went and if I was satisfied with the construction. One can tell all the tiles and quartz at his center are of very high value and he would be the first person to warn you that if you're looking for low price and value, you shouldn't go to him. The project started off a little slow with demolition, plumbing and electrical work, but once shower prep was completed, everything went very smoothly. When he finally delivered my dream bathrooms to us and I had paid the last installment, his customer service didn't stop there either. When we expressed to him that we were concern that the water pressure in the rain showerheads were very low, he quickly sent his master plumber over the next day to get the problem fixed. We had told him that one of the towel hooks was installed right behind the glass shower door, he sent his right-hand man over to rectify the issue. We would not think twice to have Shadi take over any of our home project we have in the near future. We can't thank him enough for this awesome experience! In Shadi we trust!

We used Shadi and Granite Design Center for our kitchen countertops and backsplash after a hot water leak required a partial kitchen remodel. We shopped around at several local places, but the customer service from Shadi and team was fantastic. When I expressed hesitation about the color of the quartz for my kitchen, when he was measuring, he commented that it would go really well with cabinet and wall colors. He was right- it looks amazing!! We are so happy we chose the combination we did. We wouldn't have chosen it without personal assistance from Shadi. Communication was fast and efficient throughout the process. They are a very busy business, and when I had hoped to move up the installation since the cabinets were ready for templating, Shadi made it happen. He answered all our questions. Discovering the Granite Design Center so nearby in Richardson and meeting Shadi was a godsend. Professional, experienced, reliable, conscientious, patient, and knowledgeable are just some of the accolades I to describe Shadi as well as his wonderful team (esp. Harold and Faye). The update to the kitchen was a great experience, Shadi (and co) pulled together and coordinated a truly great team of subcontractors for each aspect of the job that were all timely and very competent, and with his hands-on guidance I could trust that work was being done at a high standard! He always tells us exactly when his guys would show up and always made an effort to stop by, or have someone else come by, to make sure work is done up to his high standards. His materials are of very high value, and he would warn you that if you're looking for a cheap quality and price, he's not the one you need to go with. It started off a little slow with demo, plumbing and electrical, but once shower prep was completed, everything went very smoothly. Shadi and his team at the Granite Design Center - Faye and Harold - and all his fantastic subcontractors - Shawn, Chase, Luis, Jose and many more - are phenomenal, and gave me the bathroom I'd been wanting for over a decade. I went into the project with a loose idea of what I wanted and needed - an entire bathroom renovation, and Shadi helped me build on colors, styles, textures and design features. He even gave me the confidence to go with the black and white tub, which is beautiful in this space. Shadi introduced me to the great people at Isenberg Faucets to find the perfect color and style of faucets to fit my style. His crews worked relentlessly to complete the project faster than I expected. Nearly every day, including several weekends, there was someone working on the next phase of the project, keeping progress going with almost no downtime. And Shadi stopped in almost every day to make sure progress was made and met his high standards. Notably, all his tradesman really seem to enjoy working with Shadi - and they will tell you as much. The final product really speaks for itself. Take a look at the before and after pictures. It is quite possible the best room in the house is this new bathroom.

Remodeling our master bathroom with Granite Design Center was a pleasant experience. Their customer service is top notch, the project manager Shadi is involved in every step of the process and checks on work daily. The installers were professional and quick to address a couple of minor items we were picky about. The timeline for completion was also reasonably maintained, with only a short delay due the manufacturer defect on a custom part. Overall, we were highly satisfied and will go back for remodeling other parts of our home.

We had a great experience with GDC from start to finish. We were on our quest to start our first big remodeling project. After interviewing a few other companies, we decided to work with Shadi and GDC team. The project included remodeling the kitchen, two bathrooms, a wet bar, and installing new flooring throughout the house. The end product was a beautiful makeover. When we started the project, we only knew that everything had to be gutted but didn't necessarily know what we wanted to see instead. Shadi had a lot of good ideas that helped us narrow down a layout, color palette, and materials. The fact that we could get almost everything in one place was a big plus for us (materials, installation, and design service). Kitchen remodels are tough and can sometimes be frustrating...so choosing the right vendors and partners can be a challenge. Shadi and his team did an absolutely phenomenal job on our bathroom renovation. He worked with us through every step of the process, including the design and material choices. I found him to be incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the process. He has an acute sense of detail and impeccable taste. The work was meticulously scheduled and completed on time. When we encountered unforeseen obstacles existing behind our walls, they solved them on the spot. Pricing was upfront, honest, and more than fair. We were needing to paint our cabinets and replace our back splash and countertops. GDC Stone works did it all. They have everything you need for a complete redo. From the ground up. Their attention to detail was fantastic. From the painters, the tile layers, and the countertop installers. The owner would come by on a regular basis to make sure everything was going as planned. The work was done in record time. The products they have in store are of high quality. We are very happy with the outcome. Would highly recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about this place! We got 5 quotes on countertops and they were the best by far. Everyone who works here is extremely knowledgeable, and helpful! Their customer service is top notch! I had a leveling issue and they came out the next day and fixed for free. Sam & Shadi are so easy to work with and really care about their customers. You are crazy if you don't stop by here for your granite needs! Oh and they have more than granite. Everything from quartz to quartzite. I would highly recommend!!!

We had Granite Design Center help us with our new kitchen. They were amazing. We were able to pick out new cabinets, work on the design right in the shop, rework layout by email. It was very easy and convenient. Once we were done with the layout and style on the cabinets we moved on to the stone. I have been in many stone retail stores but this is an experience. Large beautiful slabs set up for easy viewing, touching. We were able to put a sample of the cabinet up to the slabs to be able to choose what worked the best. The absolute best way to do this for sure. We then moved on to the floor in the kitchen. This group is very professional and have a very keen eye for detail and they are extremely knowledgeable about the products they carry and sell. AND lets not forget about the PRICE. We saved easily 30% to 40% over big box stores and we did not have to deal with a teenager who really did not know what was going on. I WILL BE BACK. Only place I will give my hard earned money to when we have an other project.

DO NOT TRUST SHADI...he is NOT good for his word. No integrity. He will change the rules mid stream to his own benefit!!! I came to him for new kitchen c-tops plus island and 2 vanity tops for a rental property. In the midst, trying to do business with him, I asked if he did flooring. I needed 4 bedrooms of carpet. He says and I quote "You can have the carpet rems I have in my warehouse. I really want to get it out and need the space. You can have it." I made a special trip to his store to look at the carpet and assess the measurements with the help of Harold. It worked so I called my installer to pick it up. All arranged. Then when I come in for a third time, SHADI tells he I can ONLY have the carpet if I place an order! Terms changed!!! I picked out remnants to try and make my job cheaper for the rental, but he quoted full price. How do they get the remnants??...from left over paid customer jobs!!! I told him I remodel houses for a living and would like to establish a relationship. I do several c-top jobs per mo. But he would not budge on full price of rems!! Furthermore, he then says his minimum price is $1695. That's high!! Pure profit for remnants! I wasted a lot of time with this joker. Save yourself the headache. DO NOT use them!!
