Granite Artists just installed our quartz countertops in the kitchen. They look beautiful, were installed by pros, & the customer service we received was Top Notch! A few problems came up, as with any project. But, the owner, Yousef, handled everything with the utmost care & with out additional hassle or expense. We are very happy with the entire experience, especially the finished product. We will absolutely use their services again for any future projects, & we highly recommend them! UPDATE: Since Google won't allow more than one review, I'm providing an update. We had Granite Artists come out again for another job. We loved the kitchen so much, we decided to carry the same quartz into the bathroom. They just finished, & it is BEAUTIFUL! The minor issues that came up were addressed immediately & thoroughly. They really went over & above what was expected. I wish I could give them 10 stars for their review. We can't say enough about how happy we are, how great they were to work with, & how highly we recommend them. Thank you Yousef & Granite Artists!

Very bad experience and shoddy work for kitchen countertops for a galley kitchen. Many rescheduled dates for measuring and installation. They did not do the miter edge that I requested and only told me at the time of install after they had my money that they did not do that. Also we did our own underlayment as they do not do that either but did not say so until install date - with an underlayment - the under the sink install that they charged for was not needed as sink sits on top of underlayment and all they did was glue quartz top to underlayment. The kitchen countertop installed had a fixed cut/crack at the front of the stove top. I called, I emailed, sent letter requiring signature and no response to to my grievances or refund for services not done and shoddy work that I paid $3000 for which may not be much for them but it is alot to me. Their website states they do kitchens of your dreams but it was a nightmare for me.

Granite Artists did an excellent job with fabrication and installation with a fireplace surround. Ubaldo was friendly, knowledgeable and timely. I enjoyed meeting him. Excellent and fast communication with Scott Adams for helpful information on purchasing the best material for my project, in addition to which Stone wholesalers offered competitive prices. Dates for measurement, pick up of material, and installation were very fast. I recommend Granite Artists very highly.

Unfortunately, working with Granite Artists has become an ongoing nightmare for our kitchen renovation. I thought working with Granite Artists would be ok given their “Granite Fabricator and Installer” Awards and membership in Texas Association of Builders, but the awards are paid for by Granite Artists and they are no longer a member of the TAB. Long story short, Granite Artists fabricated and installed a defective slab of Taj Mahal quartzite (probably both slabs) in our kitchen and will not take accountability or responsibility for their bad product, which needs to be replaced. My husband and I have given them the multiple options to choose from to try to make the situation right which includes full payment, but Granite Artists have gone radio silent. This leaves us feeling like only course of action is to file complaints with the Texas Attorney General, BBB, online reviews, and taking legal action. One can only speculate that Granite Artists will put more effort in trying to collect money than striving to take pride in one’s work or upholding a modicum of business integrity. This review doesn't include all the negative experiences with Granite Artists, just the high notes. Short story long, the two Taj Mahal quartzite slabs Granite Artists used should not have been fabricated, let alone installed. In voicing our disappointment mere hours after the installation, Yousef, Joseph, and Scott, refuse to accept responsibility and ignore all claims that the stone is indeed defected and needs to be replaced. When a section of backsplash was incorrectly installed, despite provided specifications through emails and on-site the day of install, Joseph ensured my husband that Granite Artists would be responsible for any and all damages in fixing the backsplash, but we could never get the guarantee in writing. In regards to the overall stone fabrication/installation, the official claim from Granite Artists is "the only thing we saw on the slab was the texture we told you about prior to fabricating". This was a gross misunderstatement, as Granite Artists should have inspected the stone two weeks earlier. To quote Scott's email about the texture, "...when you saw the material it had veining that has a little bit of texture to it. It's normal for quartzite to be like that, I just don't want you thinking it's cracks." Sadly, Granite Artists omitted that the stone is riddled with pitting, chipping, mechanical scratches, a previously repaired cracked corner, and overall roughness for polished stone. Every day since installation, I find a new defect. Yousef and the install crew came to back to inspect the work (including a comical sink installation), and claimed the mechanical scratches were natural and there would be no financial consideration for any of their work despite me having to fix the bar backsplash, re-install the sink, cleaning blood off the walls, and try to get the surface of the stone fixed, if possible. Yousef would not bear any responsibility for the state of the defected material, he tried to blame me for the stone, the stone yard for selling a low-quality product, and suggested that I stand at a different vantage point so I would not see the defects. Yousef and I agreed that I would get second opinion(s) from other professionals about the current state of the stone, and I reached out to the stone yard inquiring as to whether or not the stone was low quality. However, Yousef/Granite Artists were more concerned with $3,800 and sent my husband and I a pre-lien notice only 11 days later after install, without trying to come to a resolution. We have since received a second opinion from another fabricator referred to us by the stone yard and confirmed that the stone should be replaced as the island is too large to just repair. The second opinion was shared with Granite Artists, but they have ignored the opinion and will not acknowledge or accept responsibility of a bad product and only want money. We're still collecting additional industry opinions but Granite Artists have made no attempts in making things right.

Scott was extremely helpful in every step of the process. From sending me multiple quotes for quartz to stay within my budget, to ensuring the start date for installation worked within the dates I needed/wanted. Best of all was his constant communication throughout the process. I have been in customer service over 20 years, and his service is top notch. By far, I find communication the most important part of customer service, and he delivered ten fold. He made himself available when needed, and he checked in even when the job was complete. I will be recommending them to my family and friends whom are also in the renovation process. Thank you Scott at Granite Artists for all of your help. I am loving my beautiful new kitchen!

I work from home often, and needed of a quality sit/stand desk. I wanted a stone top, but wasn't sure what material would be best. I reached out to granite artists, and they recommended a beautiful 2cm quartz slab, due to its scratch and stain resistant properties. I had a beautiful desk in my home within a few days after walking into their design center. I'm very happy with my custom desk. I will definitely do business with them again.

I've shopped around 3 different places and even got in touch with my fabricator who did my kitchen. I needed remnant pieces for a couple of cabinets around the house and I'm so glad I found this place. Not only was I able to find a close match to my existing countertops in the thickness I needed but they didn't charge an arm and a leg unlike some of the other dishonest shops I've been to. Places advertise "clearance" prices on their remnants but will make up that cost by hiking up their labor cost for fabrication. Took about 2 weeks to get my pieces but didn't mind since it wasn't time sensitive. Scott was extremely helpful and I will definitely be coming here for all my countertop needs.

This company blew us away from start to finish. Scott was extremely helpful in selecting our granite, then day of installation he communicated all day. We looked at their store on Monday, Thursday night we're sitting around our new granite table. Their crew guys were a pleasure to deal with. We couldn't be happier with this company.

Very Knowledgeable of products with a good selection to choose from and excellent prices. The service was great, measured and installed within one week. My kitchen turned out beautiful, just what I had envisioned. They even called me after installation to make sure that I was happy. Highly recommend Linda H.

I had an excellent experience with Granite Artists and used them to replace the surfaces for my kitchen and 4 bathrooms. I found them to be responsive, interactive, helpful, and competitively priced. This is a smaller outfit, which has advantages.I shopped around and when considering price, turnaround timing and final results Im pleased and I would recommend.

Youssef and his team are a class act. I was in a bad spot with a home remodel gone wrong, and they helped me out. Highly recommend - and also they have a fantastic showroom with ALOT of quartz and granite samples all manufactures. Probably the best place to go to see samples.

Amazing service and prices! Yousef did such a great job with perfect communication. Granite Artists matched the granite installation cost of Lowes (beat Home Depot), while getting it done within a week (the other guys were over 3 weeks out because the contract the work to out of area people). The granite even ended up being better than what L/HD had. In addition to this they didn't charge any junk fees (HD/L does). I had also priced around to others and they had amazing prices. They were professional and fast. We were flipping a house and they actually made it out to the house to measure/quote within an hour of me calling!! They also followed up after to make sure it was perfect (it was!). I can't wait to do business with them again!

Our experience with Granite Artists was Awesome! We fell in love with the Brown Delicatus in there slab yard . We went to five other granite places in DFW Area. Not only we didn't find a better price, but also didn't find one with better customer service. From our meeting with Yoosef, to Gaby coming out to measure, to Leo installing. A great experience!!!

Do not use these people. The front desk only wants a sale and never says "we dont do that" until after they have your money and sends out installers with the wrong cut. They charged me for services not done and a crack fixed kitchen counter top. I called immediately and all they would do was say " sorry to hear that". I wrote a letter to the owner requesting service visit and partial refund but they did not respond.

My advice is avoid doing business with this company and you will save yourself time and grief. They texted me a time of 3 to 6 to look at the job, but gave the people who were coming 6 to 8. They were suppose to pick up the new sink, but failed to do so. I had to bring it to the store. They cut the quartz for my countertops inside my house and failed to cover up anything. They left without even attempting to clean up their mess. The quartz dust was in everything in the kitchen and living room not to mention health concerns. It took me over 4 hours to clean up. Their response was it didn't happen. They finished the job on a Wednesday and called me at work on that Saturday morning and threatened me with collections on a bill past due and late payment charges because the contractor had not paid them yet. The contractor did not want to pay until he saw the work due to the way they take no responsibility for their work.

We are in the process of gathering quotes for our bathroom remodel including the counter top. Since our counter top isn't that straight forward in regard to it's design I had my sketch in hand ready to send to Granite Artists to get a quote. When I called I spoke with Dane who seemed immediately curt and distracted. The first question I asked was if the installers were Cambria certified. He immediately seemed peeved by my question and abruptly stated that Cambria is one of their accounts. Than I asked again, "OK but are the installers Cambria certified? Because if they aren't Cambria will not stand behind their warranty". Thought he would appreciate learning something new. But based on his reaction I was wrong. Before I could fully explain our counter top he blurted out that it would take 2 slabs. I actually had to convince him that I felt someone should look at my sketch before making that determination. He abruptly stated he had to call me later because he had customers. I was also a customer. But had he told me up front that he had customers standing there and needed to return my call I would have understood. Instead I was treated as though it was somehow my fault I kept the people standing there waiting as if I somehow had mental telepathy and should have sensed that people were waiting. He called back and again I mentioned that I would like to send a drawing for a price quote. Again he acted reluctant and stated that the end price could be "wildly different". When I questioned what he meant by "wildly different" he explained that the dimensions could change. I'm an architect by trade. My sketch wasn't accurate to the nearest 1/8 of an inch. But when I do I hire someone to do my counter top I certainly don't expect the end price to "wildly" change over fractions of an inch. Speaking with Dane was an extremely unpleasant struggle and I will never be able to get those 15 wasted minutes back. They are gone forever. If he is any indication of the behavior of the installers or the company's owner, well thanks but no thanks. There's plenty of companies that install counter tops and treat their customer's with respect. This is not one of them.
