Family Floors and More were amazing. Brett was easy to work with start to finish. They replaced all the floors in my new house: laminate, carpeting and vinyl tiling. They were able to complete the project before we moved in and I was so pleased with what was chosen. I told Brett my likes and dislikes and he was able to quickly direct me towards what he had in his own inventory that would match those needs. I also had the fireplace surround re-tiled as an afterthought and was extremely happy with that too. The customer service is outstanding and Brett is very good at communicating progress. I will be going to Family Floors and More in the future for all of my needs. I highly recommend Brett and his team!

We received prompt and friendly responses from this company. Kevin was able to come out and give us a quote, and we had the tile removal scheduled for just a few days later! Very professional from start to finish will definitely use it guys again in the future and recommend them to our friends and family. They worked with us on nailing down the details of our project and were very easy to deal with. Their show room floor has a great selection, and we were able to find products that other companies do not provide. Family Floors & More did an awesome job! We had originally started by going to a larger chain store looking for carpet for three bedrooms. After having that store come out and give us an estimate, we decided to look at other options. We stopped by the Family Floors & More showroom and met Kevin. I bought my first home over the summer and I knew I wanted to change the carpet. When I walked into their shop in Elk Grove, I was met with two kind men who showed me a lot of respect and explained the process to me. (As a single person under 30, people often try to take advantage of my inexperience and rip me off). Andy and his employee who was at the store front at the time did not do that. I could tell they really wanted to take care of me and make sure I was all set. Andy did some miracle work with my short time frame to get the carpet I wanted delivered and installed in such a short amount of time.

Brett and his crew are amazing!!! I’d recommend them to anyone! This was our first time replacing floors and we were a bit overwhelmed. Brett took the time to figure out what we liked and helped us find LVT and carpet that we love! He was also very flexible and accommodating. When we found out our escrow date had been pushed we panicked knowing how booked Brett’s team was along with installers everywhere. We truly thought we were going to have to move all of our belongings twice. But Brett was able to work it out and made it happen! Not only that, his crew got the floors done a day early, which took even more pressure off of us. Our new neighbors even made comments to us about how hard working and friendly the installers were. Overall we could not have asked for a better experience. We can’t wait to work with Brett when we are ready to replace the counter tops!

I had my LVP floors installed in 2020 and they are looking great. The experience with Family Floors & More was excellent. I worked mostly with Calvin and Brett. They were so patient and offered their knowledge the many many times I visited their shop due to my inability to make a decision on the flooring. Like another reviewer, I found their shop because I was looking for Hallmark flooring at the time. I ended up going with LVP instead but I can't say enough about how patient and nice everyone was. The installation went great. I also purchased our countertops from them and love those also. Andy is also great, I worked with him more toward the end of my experience with Family Floors & More but he was also very friendly and wanting to help. I would use them again for sure.

I wish i could leave 10 stars!! We recently had new floors throughout our whole house done. We had hardwood, carpet and tile. I had several bids with some great companies and people but Family floors and more was the clear winner! Their prices were fair and comparable to the other bids but every interaction i had with Family Floors and more was first rate!! I can't say enough about Andy!! He came out to measure and give me an estimate. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and in the end i went with them because i wanted to work with Andy. He always went above and beyond. He lives close to me so even picked up and dropped off samples!! Anthony in the showroom was so helpful and patient with me. I went through a LOT of samples!! Its a big decision! Then the work started and the crews were amazing!! I couldn't have been happier with the people that came into our home. We decided to finally change out our carpet for laminate. After checking with a few chain stores and being told they couldn't do what we wanted, we searched Yelp and found Family Floors. Their reviews don't lie! We popped in to their showroom and Kevin was quick to greet us and answer all our questions which most of his responses were, "Yup, we can do that". Kevin was patient with us while we decided on a style and color of flooring. The day of demo and removal Kevin arrived with the crew to make sure all questions were answered and we knew what to expect moving forward. I cannot say enough about the crew! It's hard to find a flooring contractor since there are so many choices. I went with my gut feeling after reading reviews on several flooring installing companies. After a lot of research I set on Family Flooring and More. I was not disappointed in my final choice. From the bidding process to the final supervisor inspection at the completion of the job was an excellent experience. We were fortunate enough to get Serge as our lead installer who did about 80% of the total install. It was a difficult install since our upstairs subfloor had a lot of waves in it that required a lot of prep to assure it was flat and the perfect surface for our new laminate flooring. As well, our upstairs hallway required many angle cuts. The total job was done to perfection. The estimator did a great job of walking us through the process. It all went just as described; both the progress and the timeline. The old carpet was hauled away along with all of the scrap flooring and dust. The clean up was excellent given the amount of dust. They sealed off the downstairs and our 4 bedrooms upstairs, so the dust was pretty much confined to the work area only. We were most impressed with the craftsmanship and experience of Serge and his co-installers. There was little wasted product and the flooring, door sills, and molding looked perfect. I must say that Family Floors and More exceeded my expectations. We are thrilled with both the end product and the well executed process of the installation. We were in a pinch to either replace our flooring or provide seller credit in the sale of our home. Kevin from Family Floors and More was quick and responsive. He was willing to work with our very tight turn-around time, was very professional. It was clear that he was very thoughtful in developing a quote for us, taking into consideration many factors. The quote was out of our budget (we were working with a very small and specific budget), but it was fair. I know that had we moved forward with the job we would have been well taken care of. This review is long overdue and well deserved. I feel very fortunate to have come across Family Floors & More. We've had a few contractors come out since buying our home a couple years ago...so far this is the only company I would hire or recommend with complete confidence. They carry the best products, and all of their installers do superb work! I've had LVP flooring, tile and carpet installed by them. Workmanship has been excellent on every job!! They pay attention to every detail and do things the right way. Andy has been the point of contact on all the projects I've done with them, and he's followed up with me after completion of every job to make sure we are happy. In my experience, I find it rare for a company/contractor to offer that kind of assurance. You just don't hear of or see a lot contractors stand by their work. In addition to the quality of the product and workmanship, they are easy to work with. They communicate well, they're honest, and won't try to upsell you or hide any cost. We had new engineered hardwood floors put into our house two years ago by Brett and the Family Floors & More team, which I am realizing I did not review at the time. Brett had a great selection of hardwoods and his team did an excellent job of installing the floors. We have been living on them for two years and they are still beautiful and we are have had absolutely no problems. Because of the great experience we had with them installing the floors, we have recently had them renovate our master bathroom, which turned out exactly as I had imagined. There were several different subcontractors involved in this project, and everyone that Brett sent was skilled and did a great job on our project. The tile installer and counter fabricator were truly artists. All of the scheduling was set up in a very timely manner and everyone was very reliable. Brett had lots of samples and contacts to get tile and quartz from, but was also absolutely OK with me finding some products on my own. The price that was quoted was fair for the job, and for neither project were there any additional hidden costs. We have been so happy with both of these projects, that we have already scheduled Family Floors and More to install new carpeting in some bedrooms in a couple of weeks.

We could not be more pleased with the work that Brett did for us. From the beginning, he was direct, honest, and extremely knowledgeable, which inspired great confidence! We purchased a home back in late March but were not able to move in right away because the sellers didn't leave for another six weeks. We wanted flooring installed in several of the areas that were carpeted, but had to wait for the sellers to leave and we wanted the project completed before moving in. From the outset, Brett was very responsive and patient, as I kept coming up with new questions and requests (probably more, admittedly, than the average customer). His quote for the work was competitive, but what really stands out is that after we contracted him for the work, we requested a special adhesive (health reasons) that was quite a bit more expensive than the originally planned standard -- moreover, upon removal of the carpet, the installers discovered (they showed us, so we saw it with our own eyes) that the concrete subfloor in two rooms sloped by about a huge 1-1/2 inches. This required that they do several hours of extra work to level the floor. Brett did NOT ask us to cover the additional expenses, as he felt that we had agreed upon a price and he would not go above that. I hear so many horror stories about contractor overruns and price increases mid-project, but this was not the case. I can't emphasize how impressed we were with his integrity and professionalism. AND, most importantly, the floors are BEAUTIFUL! We could not have asked for a better experience and product, and we would recommend FF&M wholeheartedly and enthusiastically!

Can't recommend Brett and this company enough. We bought our house back in January and it needed a lot of work, including new carpet. Brett was very knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and direct. No games. Pricing was very competitive and we absolutely LOVE the quality of carpet and pad. We were facing a difficult timeline when the sellers overstayed and we needed to move in, but Brett was flexible made the timing work. It was a very stressful situation with the sellers but Brett went above and beyond to make the carpet install stress free. But the real reason I'm coming back five months later to write a review is because since the carpet, we've had a new fence, new windows/doors, siding and dry rot repair, a new roof, some landscaping, and fresh paint... it's been busy and chaotic, and we've been dealing with many different contractors. After all of these additional projects, Brett's professionalism stands out even more. It is not easy finding good people to do good work. I would (and have) referred friends here.

I highly recommend Family Floors and More to everyone who wants to do some home improvements. My initial contact was through Facebook messenger with a gentleman by the name of Anthony who answered me within a matter of seconds after I sent my message. After that I went into the store where I was greeted wonderfully and then Anthony spent a good amount of time with me helping me pick out some great products. A week later Brett came out and did a few measurements, he was very personable as well as professional. We had a few other estimates and we felt that Family Floors and More was just a good fit all around. We wanted to have tile flooring replaced by a wooden floor. The tile was installed 15 years ago when the house was first built and was not done correctly. It was cracked in several tiles and 5 of them had actually buckled as the slab floor settled. Family floors helped us decide on replacement flooring and we decided on laminate that had a high anti-scratch value so that our 6 year old grandson could play without problem. They removed the tile, leveled the slab underneath, removed the side molding, installed the new flooring and reinstalled the side molding all in two days. There was a lot of dust created but most was contained and removed by the workers. They were amazingly efficient and very clean, considering what they were doing. Their price was reasonable considering all of the work they did. We would hire them again when/if we need more work done. We highly recommend them!

First time I've ever purchased carpet in my life, and after my experience with Family Floors and More, I'd never go to anyone else. From the free in home consultation, to the day of installation, Calvin Jang was the project manager/salesperson of my dreams. Personable, knowledgeable and responsive. He got back to me within an hour every time I called, and was at my house the morning of installation explaining the process, introducing me to the installer, and answering every last minute question. Noe, the Family Floors & More installer, did the entire house in one day. Noe worked almost 12 straight hours, after insuring it would not be disturbing my routine or any plans I had, for him to continue working. Wow! The finished product is perfection. My experience with Family Floors & More was FANTASTIC from start to end! Met with Calvin at the showroom who was super professional and kind. He was very knowledgeable in the different flooring options, made great suggestions, and I felt absolutely no pressure to make an immediate decision. He helped me make some selections and even recommended I try a darker color, which I ended up going with! It was absolutely the perfect shade & match to my existing downstairs tile floor. Calvin came out, did all of the measurements, and I had two estimates back within 48 hours. The install team was also fantastic! Very respectful of my home, cleaned up after themselves, and did a fabulous job! Calvin also came out a couple of times to ensure everything was going well. Top notch service!! This store helped us out a lot in getting floors for our new house! They were accommodating in setting up appointments so we could be the only customers in the store to browse. They always wore masks and offered us drinks. They have a huge selection and it was the only place we were able to find just the right shade of wood we wanted! It's vinyl but it looks very realistic, feels great, and is basically waterproof. We also got our baseboards here and they painted them for us too, all for a very reasonable price! We didn't plan on replacing our carpet when we bought our house but once we got in the house without any of the old owners furniture, it was evident that we need to replace the carpet. Looked around town, and then yelp and found Family Floors. They had exceptional reviews!!! Contacted them and spoke with Andy. I had scheduled to come to their showroom but things came up and had to reschedule. He was really nice enough to take me in at MY earliest possible availability. We drove to Elk Grove on a Tuesday, did the measurements on a Wednesday, spoke specifics, he told me he can pick up the carpet roll the next day, and install it on Friday! I'm glad I contacted him because we didn't think he can get us in at such a short notice! Him and his team installed it in 2 days!!! Now we have a very very plush and brand spanking new carpet!!! When I decided to change the family room and hallway from carpet to waterproof laminate hardwood and replace master bedroom carpet, I immediately called Brett. I bought tile for both my bathrooms a few years back. Brett is my go to and he has the best selection, is very knowledgeable, patient and has a efficient install team. We have wanted to replace the carpet in our hallways & bedroom for a while. I was very pleased with the choice of carpets they had at great prices! They really know their product. They can even order samples of flooring or you can borrow one of theirs home. The installers were so knowledgeable and had worked with me to eliminate seams in high traffic areas! I definitely recommend getting all your flooring here. My next project is installing laminate or Luxury Vinyl Planking.

Every business should have customer service like Family Floor&more. Calvin was first person I talked with about getting new floors. I picked my floor which was waterproof laminate Mohawk revwood select . Calvin and Andy both came and did the measuring and both of these men are so polite and treated both my husband and I with such respect and so nice. Price was great and went into office and met Brett and decided to have them also do kitchen and bathroom new countertops, backsplashes and fireplace tile. This house project all started on July 20th and was complete on August 1st. It was amazing the service we had on the 20th Calvin, Andy and flooring crew all started at 7:00 AM (sharp) they completed all the floors plus all new painted baseboards in 1day and a half. 1600 SQFT The crew was fabulous and totally respected our home. Then second step was Oscar and Philly came in to install new granite and sinks for kitchen and bathroom. Both such gentlemen and did a great job. 3rd Step plumber came in Bill Vanderveer super great guys him and his son hooked up all new plumbing and new garbage disposal and did a wonderful job and cleaned up everything. Last step was Javier Martinez who completed the kitchen by installing the backsplashes and removing old fireplace tile and installing new tile which both look amazing. Steve ( Brett's father) also came in hookup toilet and did drywall repairs such a nice man. Thank you all for such wonderful service and during this Covid virus everyone respected us as seniors and wore mask and took care of my home and us. I am so happy I went with this company they are amazing and Brett the service you gave us was superior and everything you promised me was on time and completed perfect. I really cannot recommend Family Floors & More enough. This is a company that doesn't cut corners, has pride in their work, and cares that the job is well done. I feel so fortunate to have had such an honest, detail-oriented, hard-working team working on our flooring. I cannot believe the amount of quality work that this company did in just a few days time. Our floors were an absolute mess, not only was the current flooring a nightmare to pull up but they were extremely uneven. These guys did not cut a single corner; they made sure everything was done right, everything was made even, and that the new flooring was placed just the way we wanted it.
