We had two small issues, none caused by Empire, with the granite countertop, that was installed by Empire. Todd was very helpful both times, sending out workers to get things taken care of. All the staff I had in my house was very courteous, professional, and all did a good job. They left the worksite at least as clean as they found it. I am so impressed with the customer service. This is definitely a good place to shop!

The entire Empire Team were great to work with. They completed our kitchen and bathroom renovations in budget, on time and with great finished details. We would recommend Empire and would use them again on our home projects.

i recently refurbished my kitchen and a friend of mine recommended me this company. The results after their work left me speechless! i could never imagine my kitchen like this. you can see the hard work and the passion the workers have and the good quality of the products they use. They have reasonable prices and there is a variety of choices. All of them were very nice and willing to help me take my final decision as i wasn't sure in the beginning what to choose. A year before we actually ended up remodeling our kitchen, I visited Empire Marble and Granite. The salesmen there were completely welcoming and spent a good amount of time explaining stones and the stonework that Empire does. They even walked me through the workshop, and that was my favorite part. When it came time to choose stone fabricators, I looked elsewhere, but I quickly knew I really wanted Empire to do the work. Empire includes some finishing details that no one else seems to consider standard. Jeff was extremely patient and helpful in my waffling between soapstone and granite. As it turned out, he had one last piece of black soapstone on the day I was ready to pin down a choice. He took me to look at the stone and waited as I questioned and considered. To be honest, I was scared of soapstone, but with Empire's quality craftsmanship and warranty, I figured this was the time to try it. Paul showed up to measure for the template, and I could tell his extreme attention to detail was going to pay off. The two guys who came to install the stone pieces were very careful with our new floors and new cabinets. They spent a good deal of time gluing the seam and setting the stone carefully. It looked so fabulous when they were done! The sink cutout fit our undermount sink perfectly. I tend to hate on most people's use of caulk, but I must insist that I have never seen such a perfect caulking job in my life! We also purchased a couple of small slabs of the soapstone to use as trivets, and I am so thrilled with those, too. They are completely smooth and beautiful and so handy for hot items on our wood table. When I had a small problem with the counter stone--a problem most likely caused by the cabinets--Empire was persistent to make sure they came out to address the problem. I didn't even have to keep calling them myself. That was an especially nice touch, and they did a great job with the correction. All in all, I would highly recommend Empire's work as a countertop stone fabricator. They did an amazing job, and I loved dealing with them.

I visited all the fabricators in the Richmond area and Empire was the clear choice for us. Their customer service was phenomenal. It was wonderful to work with Todd. He was never too busy to answer my questions, and he made me feel like I was the only customer he had to deal with that day.. All the guys that came out to measure and then to install, were punctual and courteous and did a marvelous job. I was very impressed with Empire. My countertops are beautiful, and Empire will always be our “go-to “ place for any future needs.

I could not think of a better experience than the one we had with Empire who replaced our countertops. Every single person was professional, responsive and did an outstanding job. So happy with our new kitchen!

Empire Marble and Granite did a fabulous custom job on the install of our new soapstone counters in our kitchen remodel. I can't say enough good things about the entire process. I totally appreciated the way I was treated every time I walked in the door for information, reassurance, and help with my waffling between soapstone and granite. If you want a truly custom job, Empire goes the extra mile. I didn't interview anyone else who smooths the underside edge of the counter as standard work. Even their caulk job is probably the best I've ever seen! And we love the small soapstone slabs we purchased from them for hot pads. When we had a small issue possibly from some cabinet settling, Empire was persistent to make sure they came out to fix the counter without me reminding them. That was extremely impressive.
