Excellent experience with ECG. This is our second time working with this company. They truly are a “customer first” operation. Everyone (Sarah, Jimmy and the great installers) couldn’t have been more accommodating and easy to work with. The finished product looks fantastic too. Highly Recommended

Sarah and Jimmy were a delight to work with. Very attentive to our needs and desires for what we were looking to accomplish. Sarah knows all the local stone houses and the reps and has a great relationship with them all. They both know every product available and just as importantly where they work best in a particular situation i.e kitchen, bath, laundry etc. They care about the work and the job they are doing for your precious home. Sarah is wealth of information and her energy is boundless. Text, email, call whatever you need she gets back to you with an answer or an idea or a photo of the latest greatest piece of marble or granite you just asked about. Would I use them again? Yes, absolutely. They were a delight to work with.

I had the best experience working with Sarah and her team.
My project was usual in that I live in Maine and had contracted a local company for my quartz countertop in our new kitchen addition. After waiting a month for him to come install it, the day he got here, it was completely measured wrong! I was at a complete loss what to do as my kitchen was supposed to be completed that week.
My daughter had used Sarah and her team for her kitchen countertop and gave me her number. I called Sarah and asked if there was anything she could do to help me. She moved heaven and earth, and somehow managed to get her guys out the next day (Friday) to measure my countertop and they installed it the following Friday, one week later!
Sarah picked out a beautiful piece of quartz for my kitchen, sight unseen by me. Her guys are true craftsmen in their field. The seams are barely visible, and the finished product is outstanding! I couldn’t have asked for anything more! I highly recommend East Coast Marble and Granite.

Wonderful people to work with from start to finish. We were met at the warehouse to pick out the granite countertop. We did not feel rushed whatsoever. The types of granite and quartz were explained to us when we had questions inregards to both. With the environment today and how everything is back ordered or having a hassle of a time with getting things, timing was great! Can't say enough about this company. Thank YOU!

Does East Coast Marble & Granite offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, East Coast Marble & Granite performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does East Coast Marble & Granite provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, East Coast Marble & Granite, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact East Coast Marble & Granite in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
