After we bought our fixer-upper in 2015, we cycled through a few different contractors before landing on Doru. Now, we’ll never use another. Doru is highly skilled, hardworking, friendly, timely, and affordable. He has updated two bathrooms, a family room, a bedroom, an office, and our kitchen. He has installed beautiful cabinets, countertops, and built-in bookshelves. His team has painted our house, repaired and protected exterior beams, and performed a number of other miscellaneous tasks. We could not be happier with the work he has done. He is not only the best contractor we’ve used, but he is the best service provider of any kind. Our only hesitation with writing a review is that he becomes too busy to do more work in the future next time we need him!

I had a wonderful experience with Doru and his team. He even suggested smaller upgrades that would be necessary like replacing the valves since mine were old. The tile crew made sure to ask me for the tile placement look before installing. The project was completed with minimum delays and I would recommend Eagle to anyone considering a remodel.

Doru and his team of sub-contractors did a great job remodeling our master bathroom. Everyone wanted to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction and the project was completed on time and on budget. His quote was very reasonable compared to others we got. He was also very flexible; for example, we realized the remnant of quartz slab could fit in our guest bath and asked if he could quote/add that to the job. He promptly quoted and it didn’t impact our schedule. We are very happy with the result and would hire Eagle remodel and construction again in the future.

He provided great ideas, worked around some quirks in the layout, and added some value-added improvements (e.g., suggesting and replacing the windowsill over the kitchen sink with a matching one from the new countertop granite), all within the previously agreed upon budget. His sub-contractors - granite fabricator, tile installer, painter, and cabinet provider were all top-notch. Doru did our remodel in Wedgwood, Seattle and we are so happy. From the quality of the work, to the efficiency, professionalism and integrity, his work is first class. Doru and his team exceeded our expectations. Doru did the work within the timeline he gave us and communicated with us about the work every step of the way. Also, at the end of every day, they made sure that the work area was clean and tidy. He remodeled our bathroom put in new doors and trim throughout the house, put in recessed lighting throughout the main floor, installed two sliding doors, painted the entire main floor and did some needed electrical work. The finished work shows their dedication to quality and great craftsmanship. They are clearly skilled in their areas of expertise and take pride in their work. We've had work done in the past, and while the previous contractors did okay, our time working with Doru was a much better experience and also stress-free. He gave us a timeline and did exactly as promised. He was organized, efficient and punctual. His pricing is very competitive and fair. The quality of the finished product is amazing. This company is the real deal! I had a stove delivered to my house and found out there was a piece of granite that was in the way for the slide-in stove Talk about quick service. He did the job, cleaned up, and buffed all the sharp granite surfaces that he cut (even the ones he didn't). Definitely will call him again for future jobs.

We hired Eagle Remodel and Construction (Doru) for a bathroom and bedroom remodel. The project involved narrowing French Doors down to single doors, moving doors from one wall to another, and closing the old openings, completely gutting the bathroom, adding a bigger frameless shower with a rain head, wand, traditional shower head, adding a freestanding tub, extensive electrical, plumbing, tile work, etc. Doru was able to easily handle the scope of the project. He started the project on time and was on the job site every morning at about 8:00am. Most days he was finished by about 4:00pm but stayed late when he needed to and was very neat and organized. We interviewed quite a few contractors, and ultimately awarded the contract Eagle Remodel and Construction, and we are happy we did. A few minor problems came during the project and Doru was quick to address the issues, he also hired very good sub-contractors. We will hire Doru again for future projects.

We got a new stove/oven and when we went to install it, the kitchen countertops needed to be trimmed by 1/4". I contacted many places to see if anyone would be able to do this work. Doru was great to work with from start to finish. He was the most responsive in getting me a quote for our kitchen renovation. We wanted to remove existing countertops, backsplash and cabinets, and install new quartz counters, backsplash and open shelving. His crew came the first day and demoed everything and installed the new countertops, including a massive island slab. His tile guy installed a very complicated custom herringbone backsplash for me and paid attention to every detail. In the end, Doru completed all the work to the estimate he quoted me. I highly recommend Eagle Remodel & Construction. Doru is absolutely wonderful, very skilled and talented. His attention to detail and quality are impressive. I needed two bathrooms essentially completely redone. One was an oasis of pink tile and the other was very old and tired. I chose some labor intensive tile and his team did a beautiful job. Doru and his team were respectful and kept things very clean during the process. Each of then even took time to give my timid rescue dog some attention. They completely tiled 2 bathroom floors and one entire shower in addition to installing a new tub, vanity, pedestal sink, new doors, fans, electrical and light switches, lighting as well as faucets and a shower head, I am sure I am missing something but you get the gist. They painted each bathroom as well. Doru was patient with there having to be some different fixtures ordered and adding some work along the way. Even with that they were done early from what I was quoted. However I got sick with Covid and had to quarantine so he had to wait to completely finish the last few things. He came back to do so right away when I was able to have him back safely. I love my bathrooms and am so pleased with the quality of everything. I will definitely be calling them back to do more work in my house. I must also note that their pricing is very reasonable for the quality of work and ease of experience.

We recently purchased an old house and had an emergency with our kitchen sink. I called three contractors on a Sunday morning for help. Doru was the only one that picked up the phone and was willing to come help us the next day. These days, general contractors especially don't take small jobs and if they do, they would charge an arm and a leg for a small job. Doru made time to squeeze us in his tight schedule. He showed up with all the necessary tools and materials. He fixed the problem quickly and charged us a very reasonable amount. He is very friendly and respectful. Update: I mentioned in my initial review that I was working with Doru on estimates for two bathrooms as I was very satisfied with the work he did in the kitchen. Those two bathrooms are now complete. Doru went above & beyond again on this project and am more than satisfied with the results. His attention to detail, communication, respect, and patience is top notch. Throughout the project, he waited on me to provide material and that didn't always work out on time as I was slow to deliver. Doru kept his cool and maintained professional throughout. He is now wrapping up the project by installing new doors, baseboard and trim. Doru practically remodeled my entire home, and I will hire him for every project of mine going forward. I was scrambling to hire a back splash installer for my kitchen after the original guy who was going to install mine cancelled the last minute, and told me I had to find someone else without explanation! We had a small master bathroom which he was able to expand the shower space. I found doru and his company on here and contacted him for a bath tub problem at one of my rental properties. He came out right away, was early to the appt, talked with my tenants, inspected the job and gave me a fair and honest estimate for the work. So glad we went with Doru and his team. He was always fast to respond to our questions before and during work and REALLY fast to finish the job. In 3 days they demoed our tub tile, installed a new window, installed new tile with a niche and new tub hardware. The completed work is flawless - and for a great price. Comparable pricing to the big box stores, but so much more convenient having one team do the job start to finish, addressing any hiccups that come up themselves, and having direct communication. Doru went above and beyond to make our shower useable before a long holiday weekend and was pleasant to work with and took care while working in the house to prevent and tidy up any mess. I feel really secure in the quality of the work and the professionalism of the business. Having hired out a few small projects in the house now, and having attempted doing a few ourselves, I highly recommend just going with Eagle Remodel.

My husband and I had such an absolutely wonderful experience with Doru, his team Mike (electrician), and Cornel (tile guy). Professional, polite, punctual, and obviously backed with years of industry experience. My initial inquiry was responded to within minutes, Doru provided prompt in-house estimate, and gave helpful suggestions on how we can make the best of our backsplash project. Within less than two days the backsplash installation and under-cabinet lighting were completed (just as estimated), and it's even more beautiful than I imagined! We contacted a couple of contractors and glad we went with Eagle Remodel. Quality of work is superb, communication is prompt and effi, price is unbeatable, and we truly value the advise/consult/suggestions provided which clearly comes from years of experience. We highly recommend Eagle Remodel, and will absolutely go back to them again should we have another project. I've already told my family and colleagues about them!

Doru and his team remodeled our bathroom (tub, shower, sink, counters, cabinet & painting) and did an excellent job. They were fast, professional, polite and delivered a quality result. From day one they took care to keep us informed of the schedule, tidied up so the house did not get in a mess and made helpful suggestions on things that we had not thought about. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.

Doru and the rest of his team were genuinely kind, professional, and true craftsmen. Excellent quality work for a fair price even when the unexpected arose. We used Doru and his team for a full bathroom model (new tub, countertops, sinks, floor, tub surround tiling, etc.). You could tell that they all truly cared about doing a great job. It was also a pleasant surprise that the contractor (Doru) was very hands on and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process unlike other contractors we worked with previously on different projects. Emmanuel on Doru's team was diligent and had great attention to detail when working on our vanity backsplash and tub backsplash, and he even did our kitchen backsplash. We plan to use Doru/Eagle Remodel again for our other bathroom renovation in a couple of months. My only regret is not finding Doru sooner because he does such great work! 5 out of 5 stars!

Great work and very nice to work with. Doru did 3 bathroom vanity tops and our kitchen...all in quartz. His pricing was 40% less than costco or home depot. His seams in the quartz are excellent. He is a hard working, honest, and very talented contractor. We will encourage all our friends and family to work with him.

Can't say enough of good things about this contractor. Doru works together with a few people, a tile guy, 2 plumbers and one more helper, but does most of the work himself. Him and his crew remodeled 2 bathrooms in our house. They came to work every day and finished one bathroom in 1 week and the other one in 1.5 weeks, just like Doru said they would. They always covered the pathway with a cloth and rolled it up at the end of each day, which helped keeping the carpet clean. Final work is of good quality. It was very easy to work with Doru and his crew and make changes/adjustments along the way. For every change we wanted to make, he would say how the price would change. Would hire again and for other projects (have another one lined up already).

To be honest, I am always skeptical when my husband hires someone as I don't know where he meets them. From the beginning I liked Doru as he was polite and professional. He installed our granite countertops. When the next day we noticed a chip, he came right away and buffed it out. In my experience once a person gets paid you will never see them so I was impressed. The man he had put in our sink and connect our dishwasher also did excellent work. (I am sorry that I forgot his name.) The best complement I would give is that I would hire him again.

The owner-operator is Ursulean Doru, who goes by Doru. HIs English is fine and his work is superlative. I have a kitchen and 3 bath really nice quartz bathroom countertops fabricated and installed by Doru and I'm having another kitchen done now. What distinguishes Doru is his attention to detail in getting it right. He makes a trip to the job site after hours to see the peculiarities of the setting, which walls may not be exactly straight, where a window might not allow for the normal height of a backsplash. Then he returns with the materials and enough tools to customize making a perfect fit in existing conditions. He gets a good price for the raw countertop material (I preferred quartz but he does granite also) and you pay no more for him than for any other custom person, probably less. And he is 100% reliable: When he says he's coming, he will be on time and stay for as long as it takes.
