We recently completed our kitchen/bar renovation and we could not be more pleased with our beautiful Rosewood granite counter tops. Paul, Socrates and the entire team at E. W. We needed to find a side splash to coordinate with our vanity, which was recently installed in our bathroom. I went to EW Granite in Farmington and was helped very graciously by Erika and then Paul. They answered my questions and concerns and showed me several options. The turnaround was fantastic. And they definitely have a lot to choose from in their buildings.

Couldn’t be happier with the granite piece specially cut for my vintage hutch. Despite it having some imperfections they got the cut and sealing it to the piece so that it matched with the piece, sits perfectly on the piece And matches up with the back wall. Thank you EW Granite for making this project work out so well! From office to delivery and work crew, professionalism and quality was present. I’ll be a returning customer!

We are so happy with our quartzite counters for 2 bathroom vanities. They are truly stunning. The process was so easy and Erica was wonderful helping us to choose our countertops and then coordinating our install. We are so happy we have decided to renovate a second bathroom! We highly recommend EW granite. They are the best!

We went to E.W Granite to learn about the various materials that would be appropriate for our kitchen counters. They were very patient with us as we looked at different slabs and asked many questions. It took us a few visits to decide on our perfect granite, with Paul’s help and suggestions it all came together. The granite has given our kitchen a wonderful calming and refreshing feel. We couldn’t be happier with this experience from choosing, to template and installation of our new granite counters. Thank you!

So happy with EW Granite! This is our 2nd project with EW so far. Our kitchen is not yet complete, but I cannot believe what a beautiful piece of a stone we were able to find! From start to finish, EW Granite helped us from choosing a slab from their extensive selection, to measurement, tempting, pricing, and installation. The staff are communicative, knowledgeable, and helpful. Seeing our stone in our kitchen is just incredible! The cuts and edges are so precise, it truly looks incredible and the price was very reasonable! Highly recommend for a job well done with a great selections of stones to help you stay in budget (or splurge).

This company is the best. Not only a good price but great installation. I never realized how heavy granite can be but these guys took it one step at a time and really did a wonderful job. I needed updated countertops in my kitchen. EW Granite was terrific in all departments, from selling and measuring, to the actual installation. There offered a large selection of choices, in quartz, quartzite, granite and marble. The installation team worked quickly and efficiently….cleaning up as they went along. Everyone was respectful and actually seemed to enjoy their jobs. I will be back again when I’m ready to do my bathrooms. Thank you EW Granite for making my kitchen beautiful. Joann J Farmington

Needed some in home service for my granite countertops, so i called E.W. Granite & Marble for their rates and they emailed me them over promptly. After a couple days went by while i called around for other rates/quotes of local business. E.W. Granite & Marble called me asking if I received the email, after saying yes i did they offered me an extremely good rate for the service i needed that i couldn’t turn down. Thank you for making the effort to call back for business. That effort has been lost over the years and people have just gotten lazy. It’s great to see E.W. Granite & Marble cares about getting business and helping their past customers! Everything was perfect with this service call at E.W. Granite & Marble. - I received outstanding communication from the office and the service technicians who came out - I received Unbeatable pricing - I received expert and precise cutting - Friendly and knowledgeable technicians I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND E.W. EW is garbage. They choose to treat people poorly, be rude, condescending and nasty. Granite was installed June 13th. After they messed up the appointment 2x, the countertops came out ok, despite one totally crooked cut next to a wall, with huge globs of silicone caulk. After the install team left, we noticed a large gash about 6 inches long on the island. We had not fully moved in yet, and nothing was on the granite. We called and EW assured us this happens all the time; sometimes during transport, another piece of granite will scratch or damage another. No big deal. Ryan asks us to send him photos of the scratch which we do right away. After this point, Ryan disappeared off the earth. I was 90% sure he wasn't even a real person for several weeks. NEVER heard from him. Elizabeth promised a call back on Saturday June 18th, after almost a whole week of no response ghosting from Ryan. She did not call on the 18th. I then spoke to Paul who refused to put me on hold while he “checked into” why no one has contacted me back, and he then ghosted as well. On the AM of June 29th, I STILL have no time frame for this "very easy" fix. They tell me I just have to sit and wait all day. I called asking for a time and Elizabeth was beyond rude and condescending for no reason, stating that “not everyone is waiting for a time, only YOU are” I’m not too sure why I deserve to be treated that way when all I’m asking is for a simple fix for a problem they created. She then transferred me to Ryan, who was also rude and angrily tripping over his words stating “We'll get to you, we’re not going anywhere; this is just a simple fix” so I ask him, “Ryan if it’s so simple, why haven’t you gotten back to me since the beginning of the month when I first contacted you?” His aggressive and rude response was “because I have nothing to do with that”. Typical “it’s not my job” culture. I’m shocked to hear he is a “manager”. He has the worst customer service and management skills I’ve ever experienced. I suggest that y’all start working as a team to communicate instead of passing the blame, or you won't be in business another 40 years. Update, as of 4pm on June 29th, Elizabeth told me someone would be here “around 2:30pm” Waited from 11:30-4pm, spoke to the installer guys who said they already completed their last service call for the day, indicating that I was never even put on the schedule. This is an absolute disaster of a company. UPDATE: They could not fix the scratch when they finally showed on 6/30, and now need to replace the entire slab. "Easy fix" Ryan? Really? Still no updates and it is 7/13. Upper management should look really hard at their practices and who they have in the forefront of their company. They need serious training, or all new staff! If you’re still reading this, save yourself the trouble and pick literally ANY other granite people. I will continue telling this story & I will continue posting this review until they make this right. Update: 8/19- No Show. 8/20- NO SHOW!

I searched several granite and stone businesses and E.W.Granite & Marble was the most responsive. Paul worked with me and helped me to choose a beautiful piece of quartz for my bathroom vanity. All other places were booking months out. Paul had the job done within 10 days start to finish! Paul and his team were attentive, professional and prompt. I highly recommend using E.W. I cannot say enough about my entire experience with EW granite. I called on a snowy day, they were open and I went to discuss my needs for our kitchen renovation. Ryan, the sales professional was great! He is VERY knowledgeable about his inventory and various countertop options. He showed me a slab I loved, but still want to l" look around". I went to the big warehouses in Windsor, Bridgeport, New Haven and Milford. Nothing compared to what he had in Farmington. Ashley in the office was a pleasure to work with. Kevin, who made the template as well as Thomas and Dwayne who did the install today were professional, knowledgeable, clean and wore masks. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my marble, quartz and granite countertops.( I used them for three different areas). I have very high ( some would say too high ) expectations and this exceeded my expectations. I could not be happier.They arrived on time and everything went perfectly. I feel lucky they are in my town and will use them for next year's bathroom renovation!. Below the pics are from today. Kitchen still in progress, but I am so happy I want to review before I forget!!!

We had our kitchen redone and chose to work with Ryan at EW Granite. When I wasn't 100 percent sold on a slab that was in stock, he sent me to a warehouse where I found the perfect slab for us. EW purchased the slab and fabricated it with a chiseled edge. He sent me pictures and offered for me to come to the studio to decide on placement. Templating was done quickly and perfectly and in just over a week we had our perfect kitchen.

We had our kitchen counter done with granite, from start to finish the experience was great! Ryan was friendly, reliable and honest. They forgot to measure a spot by our fridge and he came out and measured and did not charge us for the piece. The estimate was the lowest we received, we had 3 quotes and two were extremely high. The day of installation, they came out and were on time, professional and cleaned up after, I love my new kitchen and highly recommend. The entire process from start to finish was done in under a week! I have recommended Ryan to and family and friends. Give them a try you won't be disappointed! Thank you Ryan for making our experience a great one!

Had a good experience with this company. I asked for a less common stone (quartz) and a very uncommon cut, and the results are perfect! I am a fan of Ryan, their new sales guy - he worked hard for me and seems honest. I recommend this business without reservation.

The sales pitch was great, very good diversity of choices for granite and marble, Lots Of TLC for obtaining the sale, The granite was and is beautiful. My issues came around the installation, I was told there needed to be extra support, the insight team decided no it was not needed, my carpenter, said yes they were , but they were not installed, when asked to have this fixed it took repeated calls to resolve the issue, they came and put in the supports, the installation team was the same one who had chosen not to put them in, they had a very surly attitude and were clearly not pleased about having to make the correction. There is clearly a disconnect between the understanding of customer service in the office and customer service in the field. They left me with the impression that this was a small unimportant job. To me it is a very important thing.

I purchased a large piece of granite for our new island on January 25th. I thought the price was fair, $2000 and all in the shop during while we made our selection were very helpful. Installation followed about 3-4 weeks later and the installers did a really nice job. The day after they left, I noticed a round 12"-14" blotchy dull area, where the rest was nice and glossy. On Feb. 22, I sent pictures and a description of the problem to the office staff, who said she definitely saw the mark and would have Ryan call me. I had to call about 4 times to finally get him on the phone. He said he would get a tech out to look at it next time in our area. When several more weeks passed, I called him 2 or 3 more times; he was short, and inconvenienced and said he'd call to let us know when someone could come out. Its now about 6 weeks later and we never received the call or any service. I realize that this is a a very small issue compared to many that this world faces, but $2000 to complete an island that cost a total of $6000, not to mention the attitude and bottom line - NO service; is just not right! IDK, maybe this message might prevent it happening to someone else.

Customer service is non-existent. First appointment to measure the space for countertop we waited around all day, called a few times to get a window when they would be here, and they never showed! We called to find out an estimated date when the countertop would be installed and reached a very nasty representative who refused to give us any information. Then they just showed up when we were not home in a big truck at 5:00 p.m. with the countertop, scaring our elderly mother, who justifiedly would not let them in. When we called the next day to schedule a date/time, the nasty woman hung up on us 4 times....we still don't have the countertop even though it has been fully paid for for 4 months. Run from this company. If they treated us this way, how do you think they will treat you??

The staff at the warehouse was amazing and incredible, very informative. I reached out to the company regarding a salesman's business ethics and they connected me to that specific salesman to address the issue instead of management reaching out to me about the situation that I experienced at their warehouse in Barre, VT!

Went to showroom 2x, and called them 3x. Employee laughed that I didn't get a call back. Lots of excuses, but still no call. Very disappointed for local company.

Please RUN away from this company. They are the WORST company I've ever dealt with. They lied about the cost, they butchered the job so my kitchen is no longer functional, they showed up almost 3 hours late without calling to covey that info, they didn't show up to look at the problem they caused, they refused to take responsibility for their errors, they are incredibly amateur and unprofessional. A company with a clue would come out, admit they butchered the install and say ok let's fix this problem and resolve it, which they refused to do. They admitted they butchered it but they are not willing to fix the problem AT ALL!!! I could go on and on, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and potentially a law suit to recoup my $ and pay for the blatant mistakes this company made. Trust me when I tell you that if you deal with this company you will regret it!
