Our new DreamMaker bathroom is beautiful! Shannon and MaryKathryn took my ideas, which had been formulating for years, and turned them into fixtures and finishes and renderings. Every selection is beautiful and so thoughtfully planned. I had some specific design ideas and they took those to a new level and we couldn't be happier with the final result. But there wouldn't be a real bathroom if it wasn't for Ryan. He is the perfect combination of master craftsman, artist and perfectionist. Any pics you see of our bathroom will pale in comparison to the real thing. His herringbone tile work, in a room where every wall is crooked and/or bowed, is a masterpiece. I dreamt of a green herringbone shower and he made it a reality and I can't stop looking at it, smiling about it, and telling everyone who'll listen just how gorgeous it is. A couple of problems were encountered during the renovation but Taylor handled everything professionally, calmly and with a smile. Some parts of the process were stressful and delays happened, but in the end we simply couldn't be happier with the finished room.

The team was phenomenal with our home remodel. Travis, Tammy, Tiffany and Taylor were all amazingly knowledgable, helpful, professional and treated our whole family like friends. Thank you all so very, very much!!!

DreamMaker did an amazing remodel of our ensuite bathroom, redesigning it and moving things around (even a door and partial wall) to fit a soaker tub. Now it looks like a spa, and the bedroom and closet walls look like there was never any construction. Ryan did a great job and went above and beyond, not only creating a beautiful space from a drab one but also cleaning up every day, minimizing dust outside the work area, and making the process as non-intrusive as possible. His attention to detail is clear in the finished product. The project went smoothly and started and finished exactly on time. Everyone was friendly, professional, and communicative. We would recommend DreamMaker (which also did our kitchen remodel three years ago) to anyone for their quality work and customer service; they organize everything from design through construction including electrical, plumbing, and permits/inspections. We look forward to enjoying the space for years to come. Update: They are also very responsive to fixing small issues that arise after the construction. Dave was quickly able to get our mirror more secure and Rob came out within a couple days of our request to fix a squeak in the door and a small crack in the drywall that had developed. Both were in and out unobtrusively and did a very professional job.

DreamMaker has an outstanding team in Ann Arbor. We’re delighted with their complete kitchen rebuild, led by Jerry and Gerry. Beginning with their collaborative design process thru efficient tear-put phase, co-ordination of multiple trades and craftsmen - the result was exactly to design and within committed cost range. Our major project encountered a few unforeseen issues which DreamMaker immediately addressed and resolved, regardless of the source of the problem. We were thankful they never hesitated to own any issues that arose with our project. I would strongly recommend this company to people looking for creative, engaging designers and very skilled, friendly tradesmen, who will treat you with integrity and your home with care, and who are genuinely committed to delighting their customers. DreamMaker's fabulous master bathroom work took us from the 80s to beautifully functional, thanks to Lee's sales and Jerry Brush's lead with our major remodel project. We completely gutted the room, created a highly functional "curbless" shower, with a separate massaging bath, a privacy WC and a LOT of storage cabinet space. The double sinks feature large framed mirrors, with a matching, framed full-sized mirror on the back wall. Initially I thought we'd have to move to another bedroom while the work was being done. It was never necessary. Dust was controlled, the space was cleaned before the crew left each day and the work was completed in a timely fashion. We could not be more pleased. Thank you DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen!

DreamMaker did a fantastic job on our small kitchen and bath project. There were no budget surprises, they started and finished the project exactly when they said they would! Communication was excellent the whole time. The designers we worked with did not push us to do more than we wanted, and were very helpful in suggesting tile and fixtures that would look great and match the rest of our house. Ryan was our head carpenter, and he was phenomenal. He was easy to work with and kept the house tidy for after he left. The quality of his work is amazing! In particular, he laid our tile so beautifully. We will for sure be hiring DreamMaker for our next project (and requesting Ryan!).

The team at DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen is unparalleled for their professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, and care. They completed a full renovation of the kitchen and only bathroom in our 1940s bungalow—and did so on budget and with an ambitious schedule. Our designer Kami was truly remarkable. She listened carefully to the ideas and needs we had and designed spaces that are gorgeous, functional, and timeless. She was a true partner in our projects and we counted on her to carry our vision forward. Once we finalized the design, a group of amazing people began the complicated work of planning for our project. Phil came to the house to check on the current structural, plumbing, and electrical conditions to ensure that there wouldn’t be any unforeseen construction challenges or budgetary surprises. Courtney oversaw the logistics of the projects, Debra handled the finances, Taylor ordered everything DreamMaker would need to complete the projects—from cabinets and tile to switchplates and towel racks—and Adrian made sure everything arrived in the warehouse ahead of project kick-off. Before any construction work even began, we were already impressed with the care and attention we received. Once the actual construction started, things moved quickly. Our projects were led by Rob and Evan, expert carpenters who reliably showed care and precision in all of their work—from fully tiling a bathroom and installing all-new kitchen cabinets to ordering a special piece of trim so that everything looked perfect in our imperfect 80-year-old home. Dom, Austin, and Miguel also contributed their carpentry and tiling skills. All of the additional subcontracted plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work was carefully coordinated by field supervisors Gerry and Dave, who ensured that the many moving parts of our projects remained on time, on budget, and of the highest quality. Through it all, Scott and Kami kept in regular communication both with the city’s building department and with us to ensure the seamless completion of our complicated project. DreamMaker’s exceptional craftsmanship and customer service have set the bar really high and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone seeking a full-service (and painless!) renovation project.

One year after our DreamMaker bathroom renovation, Rob came out to perform some minor grout and caulk repairs. He was friendly, professional, and communicative. Rob did a beautiful job and addressed every issue skillfully. We appreciate his attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure everything looked great. In our experience DreamMaker and their employees have demonstrated exemplary customer service.

They were ontime and cleaned up after them self, every day. Since I was living there also. Demolition was very fast. Only strange thing was their 4 day week. Didn't demolish some things until they needed to, like the laundry room sink, only sink downstairs still working. Adjusted the drawers and cabnet doors to close smoothly and aligned. Ryan fixed all my drywall and painted the wall and ceilings very exceptionally. Ryan installed all my cabnets, opened the wall between the kitchen and dining room, reinstalled my appliances and new microwave, new sink and bench in the kitchen. He upgraded everything in the bathroom off the kitchen. Ryan installed my front hall closet doors(mirrors) which gives the whole project first impression a step above excellent.

This was our second time using Dream Makers to renovate our home. We were happy with our first project, a bathroom remodel, so we chose them to completely renovate our kitchen. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Dream Makers. Kami has an enthusiasm that is unmatched by any designer I have ever worked with. She was genuinely excited to create a completely new space for us. After seeing our home she designed a kitchen that was exactly what we wanted and needed. Dream Makers is very honest about cost and stays within the parameters of the price quoted. They are also honest about scheduling so we were prepared knowing exactly when the project would begin. In addition, they are honest about how long the project will take. They told us 5-6 weeks, but actually completed the project in a mere 4 weeks. Not only was Kami phenomenal but we were so happy to have Ryan as our master carpenter. He was up front about the schedule he would keep and we always knew when he would be at the house. Even with it being a major project he was extremely respectful, friendly and professional. His perfectionism is obvious and everything he constructed was gorgeous. It is clear he takes a lot of pride in his work as he should. We have a beautiful new space that has transformed our home. I would recommend Dream Makers to anyone looking to renovate their home.

We just finished a bathroom remodeling project with DreamMaker of Ann Arbor and are extremely pleased with the results. The project was delivered on time and the quality of the work was terrific. Betty Lane was a wonderful designer and Sean the carpenter did outstanding work. Our punch list consisted of exactly one item that was quickly resolved. The cost was probably higher than others may have charged but this was clearly a case of "You get what you pay for." We could not be more pleased and highly recommend them.

My experience with DreamMaker was wonderful! The communication and workmanship were superb! They take the time to explain every step and answer questions. They discussed specials challenges with me beforehand, and we made a plan to address them that I was happy with. We replaced everything in the kitchen except the floors, start of tear out to finish was 3 weeks. Dave and his crews did a wonderful job. He was here every day, and if he wasn't going to come, he let me know why and when I could expect to see him again. The cabinets, countertops, and backsplash are beautiful!

Dreammaker has completed a number of projects for me including two bathrooms and a kitchen. They have also done follow-ups when needed. Since I have a significant mobility limitation, these projects required some extra thought in the design. Bob Ender and I worked together to make sure my needs were met, and still created very attractively designed spaces. I have recommended them to a neighbor for a bathroom remodel. They were pleased with the results. One aspect of their work that I particularly appreciate is they keep the area where they are working clean. At the end of the day particular attention is given to removing materials, sweeping and generally leaving the site clean and usable to the extent possible. When you are living in a "reno" their professionalism makes it almost painless..

Awesome guys. We had a major kitchen renovation done spectacularly and on time. Followed four months later with a beautiful bathroom. Bob's project management skills sets Dreammaker above all other me-too contractors. No surprises, on budget and on time. Everyone should be this good.

Very professional, they get the job done. Word of caution they are more expensive than a general contractor - but well worth the money. We did a major kitchen remodel, gutted the entire entire kitchen and replaced HVAC, electrical, floors. We were very concerned because our neighbor went with a general contractor and it took them 2 months to get it done. Dreammaker has kitchen remodeling down to a science. They estimated 13 days, they actually got done in 9 days and came back for minor touches completing ahead of time in 11 days. Just amazing. Again more expensive, I estimate we paid $10k more but well worth it.

DreamMaker originally did a nice job in gutting out my old bathroom in my bedroom and remodeling it completely. Problems started when I had a leak at the base of my shower on the side with the shower arm and controls. The leak went into the basement and through the wall which caused massive damage to my brand new closet system in my walk in closet and the floor in there on the other side of the wall from the shower. I was left with over $5,000 in damages. I couldn't file an insurance claim really. I have renters that share my home with me and I had to evict a renter for severe damage to my basement and the basement bedroom he was living in. Due to the amount of damage we had to split it into 4 claims. So they told me if I filed another claim, I wouldn't be able to file anymore for 7 years. DreamMaker did agree to fix the problems but they told me it would take a few months because there was a back log on acquiring materials. They came out and caulked the area where the leak was because I had company coming and I needed the shower operational. It was my understanding that the temporary fix was good until they were able to repair it permanently. I was fine with that. A few months went by and there was no follow up from them at all. I sent an e-mail and 3 days went by so I contacted a lawyer to send them my intent to go to court. When I called for their fax number and the employee at DreamMaker realized what I was doing, they suddenly became very responsive. However, I had another representative call and say to me, we did everything we said we were going to do on the appropriate time schedule. You weren't supposed to be using the shower anyway. I felt like they were victim blaming and shaming me. If they somehow thought that would win my business again, then I don't know what the hell they were thinking. So the bathroom originally looked nice, but they're working on it right now and they tore out the shower and the tile floor they just put in. I know mistakes happen, but given the leak, the victim blaming and shaming, the lack of follow up, and their lack of concern for how much I pad out in damages, I cannot recommend them to anyone.

This company should include in their web and general advertising what size and scope of project they will consider. Perhaps even the personality type they prefer, which I suspect is submissive. I visited their Ann Arbor store to inquire about a remodel of my 10' x 12' kitchen, but the only person there said I needed to make an appointment. So, although inconvenient, I did and returned the next day. This same person after asking, "what is your budget", continued with "I'm sorry but we're not a match unless you can spend $45k+." This was after the salesperson gave a spiel about how they don't let their clients make bad decisions because they make the decisions for you. This was also before I even explained the scope of my project. Wow! I left feeling insulted but ultimately glad to not have been taken in by their arrogance.

The owner of the business was nice enough to respond to my review on yelp, but apparently not nice enough to actually call me to resolve the problem. I take no issue with them being unable to do the job as I would have liked. However, I would like to point out that I wanted my stairs carpeting replaced with hardwood. I fail to see how that requires a lot of structural modifications that a supposedly professional company of their stature cannot handle. Anyways. Apparently they couldn't, that's fine. They could have EXPLAINED that in the email. They could have phoned. I do business too. If you feel you cannot do something up to someone's specifications then you can tell them in a better way than "we do not feel this project is something we are interested in pursuing further."
