Great customer service from Edwin. Domus has great selection of slabs that are unique. I first purchased a slab for the kitchen island. After installation, we liked it so much we decided to do the entire countertop and full backsplash. The two installers were professional and knew what they were doing. Very little mess and perfect seam!! They have a workshop and precut the pieces. Minor cutting for the outlets and full backsplash. This is very important!! I highly recommend Domus Surfaces.

Serge and Edwin were absolutely amazing! We trying to match existing countertops in our home (probably from the 2000s). Serge showed around the warehouse and we found it! Then Edwin worked up a great quote, then they let us take a piece home to make sure it the perfect match, and what do you know...it was! Immediately called and setup a template g appt and install plan! Great team at Domus!

They came in and cleaned up the mess made by our previous contractor and made it look exactly how I wanted it. Their work was amazing! I would highly recommend them to anyone. I wish I never met these people. It has only been a few months after our remodel was completed and I cannot get them to respond to the issue of a brand new toilet. The general contractor told me to take it back to the place I bought it. Well, I bought it from Domus and they installed it! So he doesn't even know anything about the job that he supposedly supervised. He said he would talk to Tammy and of course I haven't heard back.

I went to Domus to look for granite countertops, but learned they also do cabinets and flooring and associated plumbing, etc., so I contracted with them for a full kitchen remodel. They were fantastic to work with; workers very capable and polite and neat. But the best part is, it was only 17 days from demolition to completion, and my kitchen is beautiful! I would definitely recommend them.

My wife and I replaced our countertops in our kitchen. Coming into the process with almost no knowledge of the countertop/stone industry, Ben and the entire Domus Surfaces staff were highly knowledge and patient with our many questions and indecision. My wife and I visited many other surface vendors in the Sacramento area, and we felt that Domus surfaces provided us with the most insight, selection, and honesty. And when I say honesty, I thought Ben was very candid and knowledgeable about the industry and the pricing between different brands. Our Many Questions Why do some brands offer a longer warranty? (hint, a warranty is almost never needed, and manufacturers will fight you tooth and nail to prove the warrant, so warrant ends up being a marketing ploy for many manufactors). Why are some quartz manufacturers more expensive than others - is it quality? (hint, the process for making quartz is nearly universal across every vendor - the quartz manufacturing process is done by computers and machines, and there is essentially no difference is quality; the price comes down to your design taste and name-brand recognition (and, believe it or not, Trump-era protectionism tariffs)). What's all the rage with marbel? (hint, it is a fad and will go out of style soon enough. Plus, it's harder to maintain). I thought other vendors in the Sacramento area would not give us these insights (presumably because they wanted us to spend more $$ becuase more money = "better", right (not necessarily))?, but Ben was willing to offer us these insights into the industy, which helped us immensely with our decision. Selection While Ben may not have the amount of selection found at other vendors in the Sacramento area, he was willing to order us a slab that we were interested in seeing in person (seeing slabs in person was very important to my wife and I). However, he does have a solid selection of Caesarstone, Cambria, Vadara, and marble (though we were looking at quartz, not marble). You can get a great start at Domus if you want to see slabs in person, and Ben will accomodate if you find a slab you like online/at another vendor. Hours Why do all these shops close so early on Saturday? Ben is open till 3:00, and he even stayed late one time when we didn't realize it was past 3:00 to answer our questions. Our Indecisiveness My wife and I went from stark white with little-to-no veining, to darker with lots of veining, no "straight line veining", we want "abstract veining" (whatever that means), to eventually ending up somewhere in the middle. I thought Ben and Edwin did a fabulous job of facilitating our indeciveness and helping us navigate through our conflicting design tastes. He consulted on various color patterns, how different manufacturers come up with their designs, and common design themes. We purchased from Domus two quartzite slabs and backsplash for our kitchen remodel. We went to a lot of different places and was so overwhelmed with what kind and color of material to choose. We went with Domus because Ben and Edwin took much of their time answering our many questions and phone calls, giving us information, showing us different color combinations together and giving us a great price. When we received some boxes of the wrong backsplash they corrected it fast and efficiently so it did not delay our remodel. I would do business with them again for future projects.

Went to various surface stores before landing at Domus. I did not realize they are able to not only provide countertops but also my flooring and cabinetry. Domus had the best marble, quartzite and other natural stone selection. The most unique slabs I have ever seen. Their customer service and attention to detail is amazing. After comparing prices from all the estimates I received, Domus was not only the best value but could purchase everything from just one place. My home renovation is perfect! Wow!! Beyond impressed with their options and service! Debbie Meigs went above and beyond throughout our entire project! We did a complete remodel in 20 days before we moved into our new house and Domus handled everything perfectly! Every subcontractor that was hired for our flooring, counter tops and black splash were on time, pleasant and true professionals! We actually become so close to our favorite contractor auti that we didn't want to let him go and tried to think of different things for him to do just to stay with us longer! I would highly recommend Domus and especially Debbie for any home project! She is very experienced and can handle anything from a small bathroom to an entire home remodel! She is amazing!!!! There are so many surfaces companies off of the 50 but this was the only place we felt at home, valued and treated with the upmost courtesy and respect! Missy was stellar to work with as we selected slabs for our new countertops. She toured us around the Domus warehouse and gave us a great run-through of the many products they had in stock, while being respectful of our budget and taste. We took some time to think after she provided us with a quote that day, and we got back to her a few weeks later (after contracting with a fabricator) to being the purchasing process. Recognizing our busy work schedules, Missy saved us a trip back to the warehouse by sending photos of slabs that fit the sizing our fabricator needed and answering our questions over the phone. She got us a great deal on two quartz slabs that look fantastic in our kitchen, and she worked directly with our fabricator to get the slabs shipped without us lifting a finger. It was a pleasure working with Missy and I would recommend her to anyone!

My wife and I were looking for a very specific color stone for out Bath remodel. It turns out that Granite and Marble really did not suit our need. We were advised to try Domus by one of the sales persons in one of our stops (Don't recall who or where) We dropped in at Domus and wondered about "just looking". We were approached several times but, at our request were left alone to browse, until we saw some stone that appealed to us. We asked for guidance and Sergey went with us to answer our questions about the stones that interested us. Sergey was low key, courteous and very helpful explaining the pros and cons of various types of stone. He also provided some sensible advice about whether the cost was worth the difference between choices. Suggesting that use of very expensive stone may not be cost effective. We informed him that our vanity was too small for use of an entire slab and they were willing to sell a half slab at half the price of a whole one. They were also willing to deliver the whole slab to our fabricator to be cut in half and return the remaining half to their store at no cost to us. Our experience with customer service was excellent. The rest of the staff was very helpful. They were very helpful and our choice of a Quartz slab was perfect for our new bath. We would recommend that anyone looking for a stone counter-top material should visit Domas and review their selection. I did not see any stone that met our needs as well at any other location.

I have returned to Domus Surfaces and I absolutely love their customer service. Every single employee is beyond amazing and enjoyable to interact with. On this particular occasion, I had the pleasure of speaking with a woman named Missy and she was friendly, knowledgeable and totally available for any questions I had. After seeing how well my friend's home kitchen turned out, I knew I had to return to this place after my aunt moved into her new home. She was just as delighted as I was to be in such great hands. They really know their stuff and assist you every step of the way. My aunt couldn't believe how awesome this place was, it seemed like they tailor to every client's need and want to make sure you love what you order. I got kudos for the suggestion! This was our last store we were going to for granite choices. We were at the end of the road, final decision making time. Sergey was a wonderful help in our decision making. He got an understanding of what we were looking for, walked us around the warehouse and showed us our options. THEN, he went back to all those options with us and helped us narrow it down to the one we wanted. Wonderful customer service. We did not receive that level of service with Bedrosians and AZ Tile.

We got our quartzite slabs at Domus; they are beautiful and Domus is the only place in the Sacramento area that has non-marble slabs in the white/gray color family that I was looking for (I know because I looked EVERYWHERE.) Ben was so helpful and patient as he hung in there with us through changes in contractors, keeping the slabs on hold for us for far longer than anyone else would have. It was also nice to have someone who actually walked around with me, talking me through the pros/cons of different materials, which is a huge contrast to other places where I was essentially ignored. He even helped us with our backsplash selection when we returned with samples from a different store. There is no comparison in terms of customer service. Save yourself some time if you are looking for slabs, and just head to Domus!

I had been to every stone retailer in Sacramento over three months without any luck finding the right countertops for my kitchen. With the exception of L&U Kitchen (who doesn't let you see the slab until *after* you pay for it and is super rude), they were all nice places with helpful staff. But after visiting them all, I have to say Domus has the best service and a very nice inventory at reasonable prices. Every member of their staff is friendly, professional and very knowledgable. They treat you like family, make helpful recommendations and are flexible to your needs. It was such a breeze working with them. I initially discovered Domus out of curiosity/desperation and dropped by one night after seeing their sign from the freeway, not realizing they were closing. They still welcomed me in and three staff members (including the manager) sat down with me after hours to brainstorm and find a good fit for my kitchen. I happily decided on carrara marble and found the right slabs--that night! After a very long, fruitless search, this was amazingly fast and easy. Their marble is beautiful. I now have my countertops in and love them. Thanks to everyone at Domus who was so kind and helpful. Don't overlook this place in your search! It's a gem.

This was a totally different experience than other stores. My husband and I had already been to several local stone suppliers. This was the first store where an employee talked with us about what we were looking for and really helped us find it. We worked with Sergei and he was great! He helped us select several slab patterns that would work with our existing cabinets and flooring. Then we got a completely no pressure estimate on the different material options we were considering. (Bonus- It was much less expensive than we had been anticiping and I really appreciated that Domus takes the mystery out of slab pricing rather than making us get the price through our fabricator like some stores do) Two weeks later we had made a decision on which pattern, we came back in, selected our slabs and purchased. Delivery to our fabricator was completely smooth. All in all, customer service was stellar and Sergei made the selecting and purchasing our slabs super easy. Highly recommend!

We've shopped Bedrosians and AZ Tile before, but Domus has the best service hands down. Benjamin was really helpful and walked us around the warehouse, showing us slabs that might go well with our kitchen colors. He even steered us away from some of the more mundane and all too common styles from maybe a decade ago. After we finally narrowed down our choice, he gave us bottled water as we waited to pick the actual slabs. At first the pricing seemed average but I was delightfully surprised when my fabricator got us an awesome deal. Our new kitchen looks great and the design he helped us pick out really makes it perfect.

Unfortunately we had unpleasant experiences when calling for quotes based on the selections available on their website. My husband and I called multiple times to ask for quotes on various materials and were always met with poor customer service and he refused to give us quotes over the phone- despite the website saying call for a quote. He said come into the warehouse and we can provide a quote, so we drove out to the warehouse and spoke with a sales representative who was pleasant and said they would send us a quote for 2 different sets of slabs. We've called and emailed and still never got that quote.. decided they weren't worth the trouble and continued our search. Upset they gave us a big run around and couldn't even give us a quote or at least say those slabs were sold. Giving 2 stars for the sales person who was nice and informative at the warehouse...

I visited Domus on two consecutive Saturdays and was excited to shop there based on the great Yelp reviews. On the first visit, we walked in, looked at samples and proactively had to ask for help. The guy behind the counter said he didn't usually work inside because hes a slab/warehouse guy and he was unable to answer our questions (because he didnt know the answers) and to call back during the week. It doesn't make sense to have a non-sales guy working there himself on a Saturday. Second visit, it was noticeably understaffed. Multiple customers were not being helped, let alone even greeted. When I asked for help, the man claimed to not work there and during my visit, proceeded to sit behind the counter and login on the computer. If he really didnt work there, what was he then... a contractor that can access their computer system? Super weird. When I asked a legitimate worker for help, he proceeded to walk away and didnt even offer to come back to help or tell me someone would be with me shortly. Overall, the service is really lacking. I shared my Domus experience with another company and they were not surprised at all. Its really a shame because they do have a lot of selection.

Our experience in this store was uncomfortable at best. I walked into the store to help my sister finalize her choice for countertop material but there was no help and it felt like we were invisible. Trying to get the attention of an employee as he walked by made things even more awkward, as he kept on walking. While the establishment seems to have good historical reviews, our experience did not mirror that of those other customers. The product is important but I feel equally as important is the customer experience in an establishment. Sadly this was not a place that felt welcoming for us.

Terrible sales approach, like a used car lot. Kyle was showing my wife some slabs and when she liked a particular look, Kyle asked her to purchase right now if she wanted the great price he was offering her, over $4,000.00 for two slabs and we likely needed 3 slabs. When she said that she needed to check with me, her husband, Kyle acted incensed and said, "what, are you going to shop me now?". I followed up with a call and asked for Ben in sales, he is reviewed well, and left a message for Ben to give me a call. Ben did not call me back. I emailed the sales manager, Sergey, and asked for him to give me a call to discuss what had happened. Sergey has not called me. We did get two other quotes for the same slabs, both were at a much lower price per square foot and the sales staffs at both locations were very helpful and quick to return a call. I would not recommend Domus. We had a much better experiences at Medimer and Bedrosians. SAD!

We bought Cosentino quartz slabs from them to use in our Reno kitchen. They gladly sold them, shipped them to our general contractor's driveway and never bothered to provide any warranty information or inform us that one of Cosentino's certified fabricators had to to the installation. The owner completely ignored our written correspondence when we tried to get her help. So now we have defective countertops and we have zero recourse. If you deal with them be sure you get all your bases covered up front because if any problems come up you may be in trouble like us. I would never deal with Domus or Cosentino again. A very expensive lesson.
