Dave and his crew did excellent work. Fast efficient and at a great price. I live in a mobile home and had him remodel my guest bathroom. And replace the flooring in the laundry, kitchen, and main room. He did the jobs right. Hot mop shower pan. Lath, cement and tile walls in the bathroom. The flooring, they replaced the old partical board sub floor with proper plywood. And they installed supports between floor joists. Also water proofed the sub floor. I highly recommend Dave Walter. I highly recommend Dave and his team for ANY job! They just finished up a total gut of our master bathroom and I couldn’t be happier. Honestly, one of the most positive experiences with a major construction job in my home. Jose and Ramon did outstanding work on our tile. They are both kind, patient, hardworking and do amazing work. They were even great with my kids. When you have people in your home for 3+ weeks you want to feel comfortable and they are just nice to be around. And Jeovanny did great plumbing work. We had an issue towards the end with a small leak and they came by early the next day to fix it. We will be using them as our go to plumbers from here on out.

The product and installation is unremarkable but acceptable. We had our kitchen counters replaced with quartz as part of a full kitchen remodel. Dave and his crew did an ok job on the installation. Where Dave Walter Flooring Kitchens and Baths seriously fails is in the area of customer service. Work scheduling and communication failures are not a strong point, to say the least. Our work with Dave occurred more than two years ago and I resisted providing any review for seriously poor service and communication at that time. However, there are some failures in the work now that require repair. When I reached out to Dave, I was very quickly reminded of how grossly unprofessional and inept this company's service is. His unprofessionalism will delay your project and leave you frustrated and unsatisfied. At this time we have a seam failure between two large slabs of quartz that he installed. This in itself is a failure of the installation that should not occur, but another matter I won't speak to here. We called Dave to have the bad seam repaired and he happily committed to making the repair and advised he would schedule with me for the next day or two. On our call we made no mention of a warranty and I fully expected to pay Dave any fee due for his time and work. Dave initially committed to scheduling the repair within 2 days. After 3 days lapsed with no call from Dave or his team, and several attempts to to reach him by phone over several days, he finally acknowledged and advised he would schedule at "Some Time" but couldn't commit to anything definitive. 3 weeks has gone by and Dave has completely ignored any attempt to schedule this work. Dave is not reachable by phone. Phone messages go unreturned. Emails/Text go un answered. This is the same communications and service failures experienced during the initial installation. Needless to say I have had another vendor out to make the repair to Dave's work.

I would highly recommend Dave and his team to remodel your bathroom or kitchen. He remodeled a bathroom in my house from the studs. New drywall, title, plumbing, electric, paint etc. We had somewhere there a 8am every morning. he said he'd be done in 3 weeks and he was. No one tried to up-sale us on anything, there were no hidden costs and it came in right on the bid which by the way was much lower than many of the similar businesses in Santa Clarita. All very easy and nice people to work with and they did an excellent job. 5 Stars!!!!!

After looking for backsplash material for several days, we found one at Dave’s. They have a large selection of tiles, flooring, backsplash, and what you need to do your new or remodeling job. While the store is new, the expertise they bring to helping you coordinate and select was perfect for us. They have years of installation experience and it has created a very warm customer service environment. We ordered our back splash the day after Thanksgiving and it was delivered to the job site on the following Tuesday. An added bonus was that we were able to take the samples we liked and return them when we were done...not something we had found everywhere else. Payment was easily done over the phone. Will definitely return for other flooring needs.

Terrible driver! Does not know the laws of merging and right of way. Very rude and with lots of road rage. You can tell by looking at his ford f150. Big dent on drivers side. Broken rear window. Even his passengers didnt react when he was yelling, they must know of his poor attitude. I hope that is not the way he works at customers homes.

Dave and his crew are very professional. I live in a mobile home built in 1979. I had Dave replace my guest bathroom with a walk-in shower. Also replaced old flooring in my laundry, kitchen and main area. The work was done right. Shower pan was hot mopped, walls were lath, cement and tile. They replaced the particle board sub floor with plywood, and waterproofed it. The job came out amazing. In the flooring replacement, they also replaced the particle board sub floor added extra support between the floor joists, and waterproofed everything. The price was great, all extra work done was very reasonable. Dave and his crew are very good at what they do, and leave the work site clean at the end of every day. I highly recommend this company (see my before and after photos)

After having to have the wood flooring that I just paid $$$$$ to have installed torn up and reinstalled because it was done completely wrong (and I mean a kindergartener could have done better!), I was gratefully put in touch with Dave Walter, who saved the day! Dave lived up to his word, came out, bid the job, started and completed the job in one week! I have been living in a construction zone for over 6 months because the prior guy kept me hanging for months. Then another guy strung me along and completely ghosted me. Third time's a charm! We had Dave and his team remodel our master bathroom in mid 2021, and are very happy with the results. Dave is a character and good to work with. He was easygoing, clear and upfront with pricing, and gave us good recommendations and advice. He is admittedly very busy and needed to be followed up with at times, but this is the sign of a successful business. Ramon and Cesar were always on time, polite and professional. They did great work. We had an issue where the supplier sent tile that was completely off color to the provided sample - this tile was completely installed in our vanity area before we saw it and picked up on the issue. Dave had it ripped out, sent back, and the correct tile installed all within a 24 hour period, no questions asked. I believe Dave's father was ill in hospital during this entire time yet he managed to provide a strong customer experience. All in all, a great local business and asset to the community. Would absolutely use again and recommend to others.

We found Dave Walter's through our neighbor who used him for their kitchen & bathroom updates. Dave provides an estimate and sticks to it. We directly pay the electrician, plumber, drywall & painters. We prefer to pay them directly. You pay for your materials separate from the labor, which we also prefer. Dave provides separate invoices for materials and labor. Dave & Kayla are a pleasure to work with. Dave steered us right with every part of our master bath full remodel. We were fortunate to have Jose & Ramon do the work (from demolition to installation). They are both at the top of their game with their work. They kept work spaces tidy and covered our carpeting. We also had them update our 2nd upstairs bath. We plan to use Dave Walter's for updated kitchen countertops this summer. We were fortunate to find Dave. He & his team are honest and provide excellent service and workmanship.

I had Dave out to install a Quartzite counter top on my outdoor bbq. He recommended a few places for my wife and I to see the countertops in person which was great because we had no idea what we wanted until we saw them up close. Dave Walter and his outstanding crews transformed our 50+ year old, very rundown home into our dream home. From the first time we met Dave until, yes, a few months later, every person was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Dave was available by phone or text any time we needed him, and we needed him a lot! We had no clue what we were doing, but he walked us through every step, and did his best to save us money along the way. We started with the kitchen: new granite composite countertops (installed so perfectly that even Dave was impressed when he came to check out the job), beautiful "subway" backsplash, new sink and faucet, and new cooktop. Magnificent. Flooring was next, and that, too, was beautiful. New tile floors in the bathrooms, and new toilets (Dave's plumber Jiovanni, was terrific at each step of the way). The last stage was a new tiled bathtub, and a completely new shower. Jose and Ramon are exceptional artists and craftsmen. They were patient and so very kind, and we were (and are) in awe of them. I didn't take a lot of before & after pics, except for the really disgusting "before" shower and the amazing transformation. We always thought our dream home would be some place else, but thanks to Dave Walter, Jose, Ramon, and the rest of the amazing crew, our dream home is right here! I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. They are simply the best!

I was in a terrible jam. My fireplace was getting an updated look and at the very end, our contractor could not finish the job. I contacted Dave and he performed a miracle for us. If we could give 10 stars we would. We have had many contractors at our home but none like Daves guys. They show up when they say they will and their work is unbelievable. Jay Jays tile work is absolutely perfect and we are beyond pleased. All we can say is we wish we would have found him years ago before we hired other contractors who give their employees a certain amount of days and we are left very disappointed in their work. Dave has also recommended a texture guy, plumber etc and all have been excellent. His pricing is very fair and we will never use anyone else.

Dave was always available to answer my questions in the weeks leading up to the start of the project even though he was at that time assisting other clients. He was instrumental in helping us make decisions regarding the style , colors and materials . Cezar and his brother were meticulous with the tile work . Looks absolutely beautiful... Sergio who helped with drywall and texturing is an artist . His work was flawless. Jeovanny the plumber has become my new friend . He not only helped with all the plumbing needs in the bathroom , but kindly replaced several other fixtures around the house . In fact , he'll be here later this week to help me put up mirrors . Gustavo , the electrician literally made a new hole in the wall to move the light fixture a few centimeters from its original place just to make it more esthetic. I was sooooo happy. It took 4 months to get on the schedule. There is good reason for this. I am beyond impressed with the level of detail and pride these guys have with their work. Dave has his own crews he employees full time. They are top notch. No subcontractors and other people getting their cuts. This is why their prices beat out most. They took my bathroom which looked like a murder scene and turned into a 5 star luxury accommodation. I will definitely be using them going forward when it comes time to do my other bathrooms.

This review is long overdue. We reached out to Dave and asked him to give us a quote on our rental property's master bathroom. Dave gave us a fair quote and even recommended alternative way to repair it since it is a rental. My mother became sick and her medical bills were piling up. A thought crossed my mind that we may have to sell the rental property. I was calling Dave to let him know of our situation and that we won't be doing the work if we have to sell. Dave gave me a personal advice and shared his personal experience. He was so genuine and never talk us into renovating our bathroom so that he could make money. We were so impressed with his genuineness so we called him back to renovate our rental's bathroom almost a year later from the first quote. Dave and his crew (Jose and Ramona) are the best. I have been saving and planning for my master bath remodel for several years. Although I used a great handyman for just about all of the other projects I have done in my home, I wasn't comfortable using him for an upstairs bathroom. I felt that type of job required someone who specializes in the work, and comes highly recommended. Dave was my guy. From our initial visit, Dave made me feel comfortable with my decision to use his company. I won't bore you with the details, but the bathroom came out exactly as I had planned. When things came up or I had questions or concerns throughout the process, Dave talked me off the ledge. All of the workers (tile, hot mop, plumbing, drywall, paint) were top notch. Most of them came and completed the work while I was at my own job. I would come home to a cleaned up work area, a locked door, and one step closer to the finish line. There are many decisions to be made in a remodel. Although I felt pretty confident in my design choices, I needed someone to execute the work. Thank you Dave for making this finally happen for me. You just can't beat Dave and his crew.... they were AMAZING. We had one of those old popular- 80's style tub/shower inserts (sorry, don't now the material) that was just a mess. It was in such bad shape we only used the tub for storage. Finally decided to do something about it and I was impressed with Dave from start to finish. They worked quickly and got our new shower done in about a week and change... someone (plumbers, tile guys, door guys) was at our house almost everyday, keeping the progress moving right along. Dave knows his business and did a beautiful job on our shower. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Inadvertently, I overpaid him $600 and Dave immediately contacted me to get the overpayment back to me... which showed me what kind of character he has. Thank you to Dave and his guys... they are the BEST!!! I highly recommend them... you won't be disappointed!!!

Dave Walter, his family and all his team members, each one of them, have treated me and my wife with so much personal care and attention, throughout the many months that we did renovations to our home this summer. Our first born just turned one years old this June, And we were able to get our home improvement projects done with Dave's help, just before I little Anthony was ready to storm off and start walking. Dave was great! Him and his guys and friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Even though he was crazy busy during our kitchen re-model, he still made it easy to check-in and get everything scheduled. He leveled our bar counter top, new quartz counter tops, and new backsplash. He even helped us do a mini bathroom re-model as well. Definitely recommend! And we're looking forward to using him again in the future when we get our floors re-done!

I am very happy with the job these guys did for me. They installed porcelain wood-like tile throughout the house and it looks great! Dave was a pleasure to work with. JJ and his team were very professional and thorough. A previous contractor had left a mess for them to work through, so I was very pleased with how they worked to patch up cracks in the slab and prep the floor properly before laying the tile. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for someone to install their tile.

We liked Dave's work tiling our back room so much we had him do our kitchen remodel. Both were a great experience. High quality work at a very reasonable price. Regarding our kitchen. We gutted it, the only thing we didn't do was move walls. Dave has a collection of tradespeople he works with who are all very professional and provide quality work at good prices (I researched). Dave coordinated getting all of those folks lined up for the job. Working with a larger company that provides a general project manager can be very expensive, and trying to find and coordinate all the contractors on your own would be a nightmare and could go sideways really fast. Dave provides a really happy medium. His work ensuring communication between the different groups helped avoid problems. We were really impressed with all of the folks he recommended and plan on continuing to use them for other work in the house (I have a new favorite plumber, painter, drywall guy, electrician, etc.). The guys came back multiple times to work around the normal issues that develop during a remodel and make sure their parts of the job were completed to a high standard. His cabinet guy was also awesome and helped design the new kitchen layout. Regarding Dave's work. The counter, back splash, and tiling has also been great. Small grout lines. When tiles weren't just right they broke them out and relayed them. Lot of attention to detail. Dave was also great for providing options or recommending other suppliers we should check out to make sure we found material we loved. Dave has a real commitment to making sure his customers are satisfied with both the work and the experience. I can't recommend him enough. What more can I say then we've used him for multiple jobs at our house.
