We have crown installing our counters at our new build. When it came to the install is when we started having our problems. The miss cut our island counters which has a sink going in this. Initially we were concerned but we were told everything would be taken care of and that new slabs of quartz would be brought in and the island would get installed the following week. The next week came by and unfortunately it seems like instead of getting 2 new slabs for the island ( it’s a large island) they attempted to only get one and match it with one of the mismeasured pieces from before. The grain did not line up and In fact went in the opposite direction of each other. They tried to make us feel like that was no big deal and it would be fine. We wanted the grain to all run in the same direction so now the counters are not being fixed when they said it would. After texting Lisa attempting to express my concern. I was told, “you have no reason to be disappointed”.

Between Shelly, Rick, Phil, the measure/install crew, etc it was easy, affordable and quality every step of the way.
In 2023 great customer service, quality product and affordable prices are still around, even though it’s very very rare, crown is one of the very few!

Nothing but positive experiences with Crown Granite and Marble. Their price on a quartz countertop for my island was far better than any of the other places I looked. Install was fast and well done. Shelly was super helpful and always available for a quick chat to answer my questions.

So in love with our new kitchen countertops!! Shelly was so great, helpful, and kind! Especially because we dragged our feet on picking something and when we finally did, I asked for it to be installed in a time crunch (knowing full well it wouldn’t happen but doesn’t hurt to ask!) Luckily Shelly accommodated our requests and the installation crew did a phenomenal job! We couldn’t be happier - especially me! Having more counter space to cook is a dream!!

The only reason I gave this a 2 is because my marble bathroom vanity is beautiful, my sales girl Charlotte was great, and the price was reasonable. Other than those things, please read and beware. Shelly the office sales person couldn't be more rude, unnecessarily mean and disrespectful. After it was installed, I noticed there were areas on my vanities that were rough and unglossed. I was concerned because I don't really know much about stone so I called and asked that someone come out to take a look at the couple areas I was concerned about. Shelly began to tell me that they lost money on my sale and cost the company 3-5x more and that no one would be back out bc they had done above and beyond and enough to make my vanities perfect. She further said instead of being "obsessed" I should go online and educate myself about marble. I was stunned! I had paid the price they asked-I didn't haggle bc I felt it was fair. I called the owner and he apologized for Shelly but did not offer to come out to check my vanities out. He should have as a courtesy. Just shop around.

We are so very happy with our Crown experience! Our contractor suggested Crown as our stone countertop fabricator. From there, we met our sales specialist (and countertop expert extraordinaire) Gabriele! We knew NOTHING going in and she, like a good sales specialist, educated us fully. She also did not hold back, explaining to us the pros/cons of Quartz, Quartzite, Granite and even sandstone, marble, etc. We landed on Granite from MSI. From there, Gabriele coordinated the measure (done by Phil who was also phenomenal!), had the granite shipped to Crown, had the fabricating completed and set up our install date and time. When the crew installed our kitchen, coat room and two bath counters, it took them about 2 hours and they were consummate professionals as well. They definitely knew what they were doing and did it with the utmost care for our home. And when they were done... wow! You would not have known they were there! I would give Crown 10 stars if I could! When you call, ask for Gabriele and you will have a great experience as we did!

Crown Granite is by far the best company to work with in this area. Charlotte was very knowledgeable and quickly recognized what I wanted and worked within my budget. The written estimate was thorough and easy to understand- no hidden costs like the competition. We had a tear out and install for our kitchen, and they booked a great plumber to complete the job in just an afternoon. A potential concern was found by the plumber, and Rebecca had another installer come within an hour. After looking everywhere in the area, I found this company to be the best quality at a fair price. Plus, the buying experience was relaxing and even my husband noticed the professional yet friendly atmosphere. I felt very reassured that i was making a great decision and was very informed during the order process. They treat you like family. Thanks!

The staff at the State Road location was great- Charlotte and Rebecca did a great job in show room and in the installation process. Best selection and the estimate is thorough and complete. We had the tear out and installation of the quartz for our kitchen, and they coordinated a plumber that same afternoon. Unlike other stores, they stock , sell, fabricate and install under one roof. They treat you like family, and do everything they can to assure your satisfaction.

Do not use this company. Our granite was installed incorrectly and cracked. We asked for it to be replaced and they said they will not do anything. Said we can put caulk or molding in the gaps and our sink which does not fit because of the incorrect cut is supposed to hang over the cupboards. Buyer beware!

We purchased a remnant from Crown Marble and Granite. The salesperson we dealt with was amazing. We really connected and she pointed us in the direction of a beautiful piece of granite. The piece we needed was about 83 inches long with a sink cutout. When it was templated it was discussed with our contractor to keep the trim pieces off the two areas so the granite could slide in with more ease. The template person also recommended going with a 22 inch sink to allow for more granite around it. The salesperson and I taped out the piece of granite and I dropped off a 21 inch sink I ordered from Home Depot. Delivery day came so my contractor removed the entry door to our home, moved the washer and dryer out of the room and the trim pieces that could get in the way we're not even installed. Then I checked email and was told during our delivery window that delivery needed to be pushed back to the next day. We accommodated that situation by leaving the washer and dryer in the entryway blocking our access to the garage and our contractor put the entry door back up. Delivery day finally arrived. And....our 83 inch solid piece of granite with a sink cutout arrived in 2 pieces. Crown made the decision to cut the piece right down the middle. There was never any communication from Crown that this had to be done. There was never any indication from the template person from Crown that this had to be done. The salesperson was not aware that it had even been done until I reached out to her as the two pieces came off the truck. Crown did not find it important enough to contact the customer to tell us what we ordered could not by done. Never did Crown call us and offer to add support bars for those areas of granite they were worried about. We would have paid the additional cost if given the choice. Our remodel was a total remodel. The room was gutted. We could have changed our original plan to have the sink area be separate from the counter area had we known a solid piece of granite could not be fabricated to fit our space. Back to installation day. The installer said he could make the seam disappear. Well, he didn't. That seam is in the middle of my remodeled room. When I turn on the under cabinet lighting it is highlighted even more.
We reached out to Crown asking for a new piece of granite as one solid piece like ordered. In the meantime our contractor stopped his work since adding the trim and putting up the tile backsplash would hinder removing and installing the countertop. After almost 3 weeks we were offered a $200 refund. Unacceptable. We asked our salesperson to connect us with the decision maker on this and we were connected with Pam. Pam admitted the communication on their end was lacking and she would bring our situation to the owner, Mike. She also said she would be in touch by Monday 12/7 by noon. No call received so we called her. She said she called me but there was no missed call on my phone while I was at work. This time Pam was not so nice and said the job was done to industry standards and the fabricator made the professional call to cut the granite in half and at this point the $200 refund isn't even an option. We are out $1040. Never, ever use Crown Marble and Granite.

Disgusting customer service. The lady who brought us to the back to look at granite had a stuck up and judgmental attitude from the start. My husband asked for prices without installment fee and she makes a comment "well, I wouldn't recommend for you to do it yourselves", when I asked whys that, she replied "because you're not an expert". This woman just met me, doesn't have a clue that we've been flipping houses for 5 yrs and are perfectly capable of installing granite ourselves. I immediately left after she made this snobby remark. We'll be taking our business elsewhere and recommend others to do the same.

Let the buyer beware! I have worked for many years with Crown successfully. This week was shocking! We had a fireplace surround installed. The installer was terrible and could not be bothered to center the marble. A brick firebox is not moveable, therefore it is fairly obvious (for anyone who thinks) for the need to measure and center. I have called to discuss the matter and the owner Mike will not return my calls. People understand mistakes just have the guts to take personal responsibility. Apparently, this is not a something they understand

Acting as a mystery shopper, our analyst contacted the company with a request to fabricate and install a stone countertop of 83.4 square feet. A company representative stated that the entire project could be completed in 12 business days, which allowed us to classify the company as a contractor with a fast turnaround time.
It’s important to note that the turnaround time quoted to our mystery shopper may differ from the one you receive, as fabrication time depends on many factors — including project complexity, the material selected, and the company’s current workload. Please note that quote preparation times may vary depending on current workload, project complexity, and selected material. We recommend submitting a request, calling, or messaging the company through our website to receive a personalized quote and confirm the current turnaround time.
Does Crown Granite & Marble offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Crown Granite & Marble performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Crown Granite & Marble provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Crown Granite & Marble, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty.
