I want to preface this by saying that I truly don’t write reviews often, but my experience with counter culture has warranted it. Working with GJ and the team at CC was wonderful from the very start. I have been slowly remodeling my home by myself for the last two years, wand when it finally came time to do the kitchen I knew I wanted to use soapstone for the countertops. Doing some prior research I knew this material wasn’t cheap and I was nervous, because I wasn’t sure my price range would afford me the type of product I was looking for. And boy was I right! After getting a few quotes that made the blood rush from my face, I went to Counter Culture. You know when you just get a great vibe from someone right off the bat? This is what talking to the owner, GJ is like. GJ really understood my wants and needs and went out of his way to source and install the most stunning soapstone counters I have ever seen. I am aware that Counter Culture (like many stone fabrication companies) does lots of big ticket jobs, but I think it’s important for anyone working in a (let’s say lower tax bracket) to know that these people don’t forget about the little guys. In fact, I feel it may be the opposite. GJ was fully transparent and gave me the best possible price on the material type of I was looking for without sacrificing my vision. If you are looking for beautiful quality stone, and people that know what they are doing from start to finish, you have found your place. GJ is an honest, empathetic, experienced person with excellent taste. There is absolutely no doubt he would make any project you have a stellar experience. I would recommend his business to everyone I know. Thank you guys so much much. I am thrilled!

We LOVED doing business here. Leslie is simply the best along with CJ and the installation crew. We needed to match our vanity counter to several items already chosen for a white bathroom. After pulling out our hair we finally found a lovely quartz in the perfect shade of white that we were able to order in a half slab, saving us the cost of the entire slab. Leslie went out of her way to help us, and I am sure we tried her patience! One of the best parts of our experience was meeting CJ's Huskie. What a beautiful dog. Be sure to ask to meet him!!

I cannot say enough good things about Counter Culture. I used them for a large bathroom vanity top, and the whole experience was great. From selection with the owner, to Casey, to Johnathan at install, they were all so great and wonderful to work with. Not to mention, such high quality and attention to detail. We originally went with another counter company, big mistake! They tried to install a slab of granite that was not what we picked out. We next went to Counter Culture Plus and what a difference! First, they helped us find exactly what we were looking for. They then got us on the schedule really quickly, as they knew we had already been delayed. The install was perfect! They set down things to protect our floors, they were very clean with the install. They did everything perfectly! I HIGHLY recommend them for all your needs!

We were so impressed with Counter Culture! The product, design advice, template process were incredible. GJ and Sammy are just the best to work with. The installation crew was incredible. Cody and Jonathan showed up on July 3 and worked tirelessly until 11 pm to finish and clean up so that we Could have a kitchen for Independence Day! They were courteous and obviously hardworking. Their attention to all the details was remarkable. Jonathan even “sculpted” a spot to match chair rail that had to be cut out. So happy we went with Counter Culture. Thanks to the entire crew our kitchen has been transformed!

We decided to go with Counter Culture based on a recommendation from our general contractor Mike Asay. We had a wonderful meeting and communication with Casey and GJ to choose our quartzite! They promptly called me when it came in and we went to sign off on it and see the chosen slabs were beautiful. The Installation team of Caleb, Jonathan, Aldo and Sam did a fabulous fabulous job with the two part Installation of countertops followed by full backsplash in the quartzite. I could not be happier with the end result, and I highly recommend this team. They were efficient, they were fabulous to work with, pleasant and great with cleanup! The results were above our expectations!

Ok, so here’s the thing with Counter Culture… long story short, They’re the best. There’s a reason why they have a perfect 5 star review from EVERYONE. Short story long, Counter Culture is hands down the best countertop fabricator and installation company in the area. Not only was the price VERY fair for the stone that I absolutely fell in love with, but the precision and quality of the installation was second to none. I had full 12’ run of countertop that ran, uninterrupted from the bar to the kitchen WITH a mitered edge waterfall, in a 114yo house with uneven floors and wavy walls. They, somehow, made the stone fit like a glove. But the perfectionist level quality isn’t even the best part! The best thing about Counter Culture is the PEOPLE! The customer service, the attention to detail, the desire to get you exactly what you want, and the ability to facilitate excellence is what really makes counter culture outshine the rest. Now, I know I would be skeptical after reading this review, as it sounds too good to be true. So I’ll be fair and tell you that they did end up cutting my backsplash about 3/4” too short. BUT they noticed the issue and had another piece cut and out to me super quick. I’ve worked with a few other fabricators in the area on several different projects, and two with Counter Culture. The most recent being my personal home, because they’re the ones I trusted to get it right. And I guaran-damn-tee you I will not be doing business with anyone other than these guys. They have EARNED a customer for life.
