After going to different stone suppliers in the bay area and not finding slabs for our kitchen remodel, I thought I would try the Sacramento area. On the Coliseum Stone Galley website I found the type of slabs that I had been wanting. I called and spoke with Monica who told me she had 2 slabs left. When I got there the next day Monica remembered my name and knew what slabs I was wanting to look at. She is so knowledgeable about stone and gave me so much helpful information. Monica not only took a lot of time with me on that day but also 2 days later when I brought my husband to see the slabs she was holding for me. I went to a lot of places looking for slabs and no one gave me the time and information that Monica did. With her interior design experience she helped us find the perfect type of tile and frame to use with a mosaic stone piece we are going to use above our range top. I highly recommend Coliseum Stone Gallery.

Happened to find this place on Google and decided to check it out. I had visited numerous stone galleries but didn't receive even a quarter of the service and attention that Monica provided me. She was attentive and patient. Graciously answered all my questions and allowed me to visit a number of times before selecting the correct stone and then after in order to coordinate the cabinets and tile. She was very helpful with her advice and her honest opinions. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I found Coliseum Stone Gallery myself after visiting more than a dozen of the well advertised kitchen remodeling businesses and counter top/slab vendors and warehouses. I had found all sort of possibilities but I did not feel excited or happy about any of them. Finding Coliseum Stone Gallery was indeed my lucky day! From the moment I walked in and looked around, it just felt different, it was apparent the focus was on quality rather than quantity and then when I met Monica and Lito- well I knew I had come to the end of my search. It was "love at first sight" when Monica showed me the pieces of Carrara bianco marble . I absolutely loved the look of it, imagined it in our home, but had some worries about the extra care that would be required. Monica patiently explained everything to me and after spending about an hour with Monica and Lito, I knew my search had come to an end and, important to me, I left a shop for the first time really excited and happy about my choice. It has been a year since that lucky day, the kitchen and bathroom countertops have been installed and we could not be happier. The project took longer than expected because we had to wait until all our new appliances came in - and there were some supplier issues. Monica checked in with us periodically and assured us our slabs would be safe at their showroom and we could leave them there until we were ready to install them. With respect to the installation, they have the most professional father and son team who did the work - again we could not have been more pleased with the care they took with every aspect of the installation process including excellent communication throughout the process. I wish I could give 10 stars to Coliseum Stone Gallery. What I finally found is 2 people who are the most knowledgeable about their products, their application, installation, care, maintenance, well about every aspect of what they are selling. You will not feel like you are in a place that offers rows and rows of ordinary materials or "cookie cutter type" design - in speaking with Monica and Lito you quickly realize they are designers and artists first and foremost who love and feel passionate about their work, want to share this knowledge and passion with those who walk in to their store - and this makes them and Coliseum Stone Gallery stand out far and beyond any of the other places offering this part of a kitchen/bath remodel.

After getting rough estimates using more traditional places, we decided to check a few more options and landed here. Monica was very welcoming and immediately asked us our needs and layout of the kitchen and showed us right to what we were looking for. We settled on granite with the last two Slabs in stock (pending measurements) gave us an amazing deal on them and we went home to firm up the measurements. Monica even went as far as to draw out a sketch based on our original numbers and quote an install price if our other installers fell through. The total for install with slabs were easily half the price of the two other places we had went to previously. Though we ended up using our own installer we purchased the slabs shortly after our visit and they dropped them off to our guy in a timely manner. Hands down the best granite experience ever!

Monica helped us so much!! She helped us pick quartz for our shower walls! We just finished renovating and they are such amazing material. She even went out of her way to help us design our bathrooms from picking our mosaics and to picking out the floor tiles. We have been to so many quartz Stores but out of all of them this places was the places that helped us the most. I HIGHLY recommend coming here for your house projects!

Everything about our kitchen remodel during a pandemic has been a huge hassle with considerable delays, except working with Monica and getting our slabs picked out. We ended up with the most gorgeous marble - their selection was really the best we found, not just for marble but for all stone types. Monica was attentive to our needs and preferences, walked us through multiple options, was very upfront about how all the materials would behave, and gave us tips on maintenance and care. She sent us home with a sample of our favorite stone before we decided and let us do some stain/etching testing (which turned out exactly how she said it would and eased our worries!). Monica’s background in interior design also proved helpful when we brought our other finishes/paint/etc and she made suggestions on which slabs would work best. Monica spent considerable time with us over multiple days and visits talking through the process and helped us find the most affordable fabricator/installer. We are so pleased with our shopping experience at Coliseum! Monica really understands the various stones and has great vision for the wider project - plus our beautiful countertops were affordable but certainly won’t look like a flip, which was my biggest fear with a tight budget.

I stumbled across this amazing stone gallery and am so thankful I did. As we all know, house remodel is very exhausting. I had been searching for the perfect quartzite slab for weeks. From the moment I walked in, I knew this was the place. Family owned, knowledgeable, great customer service. Monica took weeks of stress and turned it into a relaxing enjoyable experience. She educated me on the each type of natural stone and helped me make my final decisions based on what she had learned about my likes and dislikes. The pricing was a huge plus, but to be honest, I would have given Monica and her family my business regardless. Quality service and product all in one. 😊 I look forward to working with Monica again and will definitely will be sending everyone I know their way!!!!!! Don’t even give it a second thought.. just go see Monica!!!

We found a beautiful piece of granite here. We looked several places, but we found the slab that we liked best here at Coliseum. It is a family owned business, and both Monica and Alex were very helpful. I really appreciated that they were willing to move several slabs so that we could pick our favorite slab from the stack.
