terrible service. I called them several times and left them a message and they never called me back. I had to call the sells person and then they got hold of service. Then when someone took a look at the issue for my countertop they did not have someone until months later to service the countertop. I had a seam that kept moving up and down and I think they just re-glued it and about a mouth later my countertop cracked from the seam all the away to the middle of the countertop. When I asked them why it cracked, they said that they noticed that the countertop was not supported correctly. They never told me of any issues with support before or after install or during warranty work. They are the ones that installed the countertop and they should of made sure they had proper support before installing the countertop or should of added support. The cracking of the countertop could of be avoided if they communicated the issue they noticed. They just want to sell you a countertop and they do not care about the customer. Do not waste your money.

CKF was fabulous with customer service that is UNTIL we had fully paid for our countertop and our kitchen counters were installed. We have a problem with the installation. A rep came out to try to fix it. He was awesome and even told me what next steps should be. However now no one from CKF will call us back to work out a solution. Unfortunately great customer service should extend to when there is an issue and after final payment has been made. As it stands I feel like I have no bargaining power and CKF does not seem interested in resolving the issue.

We replaced our kitchen countertops and island with Cambria Skara Brae. The installers were extremely professional and conscientious of leaving the work area clean. We are extraordinarily pleased with the look of the new countertops. They are absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t have imagined them looking any better than they do. CKF rocks!😊

Amend- they did come out to understand what happened. This place is TERRIBLE!!! First they ordered the wrong size cabinets. We had to wait 3 weeks to get the new ones in. When the new ones came in, the pantry cabinet was wrong again!! 2 weeks later we still do not have a pantry. They finally scheduled the install today only to have them not show up and tell us install is tomorrow. Our island countertop they tried to put a seam in even though our slab was big enough we didn’t need to. We had to fight tooth and nail with them not to put a seam in. Every part of this has been a struggle and I would highly recommend NOT using them, especially Alesha.

Where do I start....this is a generational, family owned business and it is RARE that a company does the right thing, but CKF went over and above. We built a new home last year and two months before close, a pipe burst and the entire first floor flooded into the basement. The builder promised to make the house whole to move forward as we were so close to completion. So many corners were cut. Things that the builder said he replaced were dried out and reused in their damaged state (powder bath vanity). This led to sagging kitchen countertops which separated from the walls, warped cabinets, etc. The builder has been non-existent since closing and left us with improperly installed cabinet fixtures, missing light rail, obtrusive electrical outlet boxes under our cabinets, mismatched crown molding in the kitchen, drawers that do not line up, gaps between cabinet and walls, so many issues. Since the builder wouldn't complete the warranty work and didn't project manage during the build, we reached out to CKF directly and to our surprise they made our house whole. Jenna, Missy and many of the higher ups along with their most tenured and skilled employees made FOUR trips to our home. They communicated promptly, offered empathy, and did everything they could to make it right when most of these issues were the builder's responsibility. They supplied a replacement vanity, helped us brainstorm to provide design and functional solutions to replace the crown moulding and light rail. They fixed gaps in cabinets, replaced kitchen island countertop and fixed sagging and re-caulked all countertops to perfection. All of this cost them time and resources that they will not recover. They did it because it was the RIGHT thing to do in their eyes. They saw us as people and not profit. I wish our builder would learn a lesson from their example. I own a small business and this is how I treat my customers. I believe you get what you give and it all comes back. Bravo CKF!! Thank you to all the people involved who made us whole. Thank you for your kindness and thank you for going far beyond the definition of "over and above". We will be forever grateful and love our space knowing that it is not only beautiful but that the workmanship is of the highest quality. Thank you!! Thank you!!!

We've had a few experiences with CKF over the years and have been satisfied with the options available, but ended up going with competitors for a variety of reasons. We initially connected with them in 2016 for the redesign of our fireplace. Long story short, this really didn't seem to be their area of expertise compared to other shops in town. Specifically, on one of their fireplace displays the stone around the fireplace had yellowed due to the heat. The salesperson told us it wouldn't be a good idea to have that stone as a fireplace surround....okay, well why did you have it as a display? This was concerning enough that we moved on. Fast forward to 2019 we looked into their counter tops for a master bath remodel. We were primarily targeting remnants. Their remnant warehouse is very well organized (better so than competitors) and the price points of the stone were differentiated by a tier system (for example A stones were cheapest, E the most expensive). The sales person we worked with was very knowledgeable and helpful in putting together a bid. In the end however, we went with a competitor who's fee was nearly $300 less and had a stone design we liked better (in fairness remnant shopping is always variable depending upon design availability). In summary, I would definitely keep CKF on the list for remodel or new home projects, but make sure you throw some competitors in there for comparison.

I purchased a new spec home from Charleston Homes Omaha and Consolidated Kitchens and Fireplaces installed a countertop in my kitchen that even the CKF emplyees said "we would never choose that piece to go in a customers house" and "that sticks out like a soar thumb" It has a single straight rust line through the center of the main part of the countertop.
