My experience with City rock was top notch. This was the first kitchen remodel I’ve ever done, so Allyson went above and beyond to help, she went as far as to inquire the local granite suppliers if they had nicer remnants on my behalf. It was incredible service considering that the scope of the job was relatively small. The installation was subcontracted, but they were punctual and professional. I’m very satisfied with the whole interaction and will use their services again in the future

CityRock did a great job on a kitchen renovation in my mother-in-law's condo from the 80s. It was so nice being able to see all the counter options in the CityRock showroom, and the samples are well organized by brand and price point. Kristi was especially helpful and responsive, and communicated with us at every step of the way! It can be complicated when there are two points of contact (and three of you count the contractor!), but she kept us in both the loop like the pro that she is! Thanks!

We had new quartz counters installed by CityRock last month and they turned out stunning. Our kitchen went from dated, hard to clean tile to easy to clean, modern, and beautiful. Working with Jody and Allyson was very straightforward with all questions and details being addressed quickly. Install team arrived on-time and were finished in no time. They were even able to cut one solid piece for the sink portion of the counter - no joint! Great job!

CityRock Countertops Rocks! I had a wonderful experience with all of them! I had a small "remnant" bathroom job but I still wanted to try to find the perfect stone for my project. The value was superb. Joyce in the office was great to deal with. Considering I went to the warehouse 3 times looking for stone, Travis at the Warehouse was the best! He knew I wanted a particular slab that was already reserved and when that person decided to use something else, he called to see if I still wanted it. It turned out perfect! Jesus, who measured was great and so was Merilyn and his crew who installed. They were fast and clean and able to come on time to help with my schedule. Overall, I am very happy with the whole process of looking at available samples, getting them quoted and moving forward with new quartz kitchen countertops. A smooth process from start to finish and install took about 2-3 hours. Having new countertops, sink and faucet makes a huge difference in the kitchen.

CityRock came highly recommended to us from neighbors and from co-workers. I have to say that we were not disappointed in their services. Everything went quick and easy and Emily & Allyson were really great to work with! City rock really rocks like it’s name. They did an exceptional job in my kitchen. We got a great value for the quartz and the quality is very good. They are very courteous and pleasant to work with. They completed our job in one day. We had a problem getting our new stove in and they worked around our schedule. Love their customer service. I would really appreciate the help Emily and Allyson gave us. They are the best people to work with. The quartz installer Iserail was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job from start to finish. I had a great experience with CityRock from start to finish. Allyson and Jodi were very pleasant to work with and extremely helpful. I was interested in a remnant piece for my bathroom counter and Jodi was patient and helped me find something that would work (went with Venato Extra Quartz). Allyson worked out all of the scheduling and followed up with me multiple times. I also had them install the new sink as well (not the plumbing or fixtures). The installers were quick and very neat ... didn’t cause any damage to my walls! I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for stone counters. They have full slabs and remnants, so you will find whatever you are looking for.

We had our kitchen demo and ready for the cabinet install when we got the news that they were backordered. As soon as we had the lower cabinets in, we called around to ask how quickly the countertops would be installed if we ordered right before Thanksgiving. I spoke with Kristi and on the same day I sent my husband over to select the quartz. The very next day we had someone come out and mesure, that was Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We had our beautiful countertop installed perfectly in less than 1 hour of labor the next Thursday. CityRock sent us a plumber on the same day, who did magic with our old pipes and gave us a fully functional kitchen before dinner time. We are so happy and impressed with their services, staff, materials, everything is top notch.

We just purchased a new granite countertop, which was fabricated and installed by City Rock. I am very pleased with the outcome and the entire experience from the moment I connected with them until the day of installation. Joyce was very responsive, providing my quote and pricing information as well as answering my questions. Templating occurred the day after we signed. When the slabs arrived, I was given the opportunity to select them placement of the template to avoid some spots on the rock. The installation team was careful, thorough and cleaned up after themselves. The entire process took less than 2 weeks and voila! I have a new granite countertop!

I've had great experiences with CityRock, on jobs at my own personal residences. Stone selection is very good and prices are reasonable. Homeowners need to realize that they are not a contractor. They install countertops on cabinets. Both times I used them I went into the showroom to select the sink and edge treatment, then made an appointment to look at the slabs at their shop. A measurement day is then scheduled and a week later the countertop is delivered and installed. It's really simple if you understand the process. The girls there are very friendly and informative. A form is filled out that you select the edge treatment, sink type, etc. It's so easy even a caveman could do it in my opinion. I've also used the big box stores. They can help you along the way, acting as a buying agent and explaining the process. But you pay for the middle man and the process will take several weeks longer, as they do tons more installs. Plus, their stone selection is somewhat smaller. So, just had another 3 countertops installed by CityRock last week. Another perfect job. Home Depot was telling us 3 weeks after measure. City Rock did it in 1 week. Slabs fit perfectly again as well.

Very pleased with my entire City Rock experience. I had shopped around and knew exactly what I wanted for my new kitchen island countertop. I emailed City Rock with dimensions and multiple brands / colors to request a quote. They responded very quickly and literally blew the competition (about 7 local providers) away. Their price was so good that I reviewed Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau to make sure they could deliver and found great a solid reputation. City Rock was incredibly helpful in answering questions about my project (did I need supports under the countertop?, could they cut the cooktop opening outside to avoid the dust in my kitchen, etc.?). The installers were professional, on-time and very careful not to damage any of my existing kitchen when they lifted the fairly large (4.5'x8.5') countertop on to my island. They also were kind enough to cut and finish some leftover granite (at no charge) from my island demolition for another space. I HIGHLY recommend you use City Rock for your countertop project.

False advertising: City Rock's ad says "complete kitchen and bath remodeling," but when I stopped in the store, they said it's not true. The company has a relationship with a guy to install tile, and he does some work on the side, but that's it. They have a small showroom with quartz, granite, tile, and a few cabinet samples. The cabinets come from another local company. The ad also mentions sinks and faucets and outdoor living, but I only saw a single sink with a faucet and nothing from the outdoors (except the quartz, that is). Disappointing since I'm looking for complete oversight and coordination of my remodel. The woman there was super nice, so I gave them 4 stars even though the ad was misleading.

This IS the walmart of granite countertops. They DO have great prices, that is no scam. They DO have a quality product..but that's where it ends. You need to be vigilant about everything. they will not look at the worksite - they assumed way too much and it costed me a few days without my kitchen. I was very patient - are YOU ok with not having a sink for a while? they will not call back...you need to stay on them. If you are a contractor, ok, but if you are a homeowner, there is a good chance you will have issues. I did not get the edge surface I wanted, they did NOT attach the dishwasher to the tops, upon asking them to? im still waiting. I did get the one salesperson I was warned against, so others may be better. Use this company for the savings, but please be wary - and on top of things. I would not recommend this company to a homeowner, but for a general contractor, probably ok.

My husband called them after a sink cracked that they had installed. They were very nice on the phone but never called back. I called them them and emailed them (per their request) repeatedly for 3 weeks. Again they were very nice but never followed up. When they FINALLY called they asked if we would like to replace both sinks because it would be the same price so I said yes. They asked if we wanted plumbing I said yes. They sent the bill and I paid it. After they installed the sinks I called about plumbing and they said that would be an additional $160 PER SINK. Joyce's response when I told her I wouldn't have gotten 2 sinks then was I could find my own plumber that would probably be cheaper. If your job is not countertop replacement they don't want your business even if they are the ones who placed your countertops. SUCH A JOKE!!!!!

We had already chosen the slab, and went with City Rock because they had the better price. Now we know why they had the better price. We paid extra to get an ogee cut and they wavered the cut and won't come out to fix it. They cut the wrong stone for an area, it looks terrible, and we are trying to pay them to replace it and thry don't seem even willing to do that. Fabrication and customer service severely lacking. You get what you pay for.

The company installed new countertops in a rental we are selling. I made up the drawings for the kitchen countertop to be installed as we were replacing the existing laminate tops and the dimensions had to be critical. We had a 36" opening already for the fridge which is standard. The top to the left was 18" wide and they took it upon themselves to make the top 18 1/2" wide therefor making the fridge opening 35 1/2" and we could not get the new fridge in the space. When we called about it Jody told us we signed off on it. I told her you did not make it as per my drawing. She said that it would cost us $95.00 for them to come out and fix it. Why should I pay them for there mistake. They are taking advantage of the good times and screwing people for now, wait till hard times hit again they'll go down the tubes as they should screwing everybody. Things started out well enough. The guy doing the template noted that a short wall had a bow in it but he made the template to fit, making a note to the fabricators to "cut to template". The fabricators didn't do it, though, and instead the counter was put in with a straight edge, leaving a 3/8" gap along part of the wall. I caught this and had the installers correct it. The seam along the longest counter was to be in line with the sink divider, but it was off to the left by 1/4". The installers drilled the single faucet hole another 1/4" to the left, leaving a 1/2" mistake. My faucet base is thin enough that the hole could only be widened 1/16" as a corrective measure, so the faucet remains off center. The fabricators attempted to make a hidden biscuit cut at the seam but cut all the way through the front. The installers used the wrong color epoxy to fill in the hole. I requested a pencil-round edge. Some counters had no edge, others had a flat bevel, some were a variation of bevel and round and nothing. My bushes in the front yard were covered with silicone sealer when the crew left. I brought these issues up with City Rock and they sent two guys out to address the edges. They improved but are still uneven. Can't fix the faucet hole; bushes will have to recover on their own; no fix for the epoxy in front of the sink. In the mean time, while going back and forth with their front office about these issues, I was pestered by their finance person multiple times looking for a payment. At my suggestion of a discount for all the errors I was offered a measly $100 (2%) discount for all the mistakes. I was then presented with another invoice that did not include the discount. I'm sure there are worse companies doing this, but overall the experience with these folks was uncoordinated and wrought with errors that a little bit of care would have prevented. So I am left living with their mistakes while they walk off with my money and probably will continue to make similar mistakes at other homes.

I called to have someone look at our bathrooms that we'd like to have remodeled, and a couple of days later someone (Sarah I think?) met with me. That was Sept. 17th. She said she'd be back in touch a couple of days later with an estimate. Two weeks later, nothing. My husband sent her an email, and she responded with an apology, again saying she would get back to us shortly. A week later, still crickets. My husband sent one final email, and it has now been another week, and no Sarah. Obviously, we will be moving forward with looking for another company to assist with our remodel; as will our friends, who would like their bathrooms remodeled, too, and asked that we let them know about our experience, to determine if they'd use City Rock as well.

Jenn S had a much different experience than my husband and I. We were underwhelmed to say the least. We stopped in on the afternoon of Feb 10th to talk about quartz counters. We were the only customers. One of the 4 women working directed us to the samples. She didn't ask about our project or offer much information. She went back to her desk. The lack of interest on her part was surprising. My husband and I looked at the samples briefly and left, never to return. Another company will be getting our business.
