I enjoyed going through the show room and seeing the beautiful products. I did not know what improvements had been made in blinds in the last 20 years so the information and displays were great, hands on and helped me make some decisions. The wood, vinyl and tile samples were beautiful, of good quality and I thought the prices were reasonable. I really liked their selections. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was because the parking was tight and on a busy street.

My husband and I had been doing researching on luxury vinyl plank flooring. After visiting 4-5 stores, we finally settled on Cherry City Interiors & Designs because of their large display options and sheer professionalism. Kent was great to work with from the very start. After a miscommunication, he was willing and able to wait at our house for 20 minutes before I was able to arrive for our estimate. He was able to cut us some great deals, so we were able to swing a remodel of our entire upper floor (approximately 1400 sq ft). We went with Valor Oak (luxury vinyl plank) and were very happy with our choice. It is scratch-proof and waterproof. (Perfect for small children and potential pets) The installation crew was quick and efficient. When they came across a few "snags" in the process, they were able to make recommendations and adjust accordingly. The whole project was finished within 3-4 days. Turned out beautifully! Would highly recommend Cherry City Interiors & Design.

I cannot say enough great things about Samantha and the team at Cherry City Interiors - they are just out of this world fantastic! We recently used their services to help with a custom home build, needing their help with flooring, paint, cabinets, tile, and countertop selections. Samantha helped us find exactly what we were looking for (despite us not quite knowing what that was) and created a beautiful home for us. At the end of the selections, just when I thought that I was going to have to try and explain the shade of grey paint I had in mind, she stepped away and came back with the wall and trim color in her hand - like a magical mind reader. All this and she kept us under budget! I will forever recommend Cherry City for any and every home interior project - they've got you covered!

Brad is amazing. He knew just what we needed when we needed to replace flooring that came with our new home. Can be overwhelming the amount of choices they have. He also wants his customers happy and looks for opportunities to reduce the price you pay. Installers were great as well. Very social with strong communication skills. An all around great experience. We had quartz countertops installed. Installation was perfect. The product is not! Appears to be cheap and shows every thing imaginable. I've cleaned it I've waxed it nothing helps. Will never get countertops from them again.

We ended up choosing carpeting that had a challenging pattern. The installers that Brad selected were absolutely amazing – the corners and seams are flawless. Getting a correct estimate and scheduling the appointment was like pulling teeth. They came out to look at my floors twice, and one person didn’t show up. I kept trying to get them to put it on the calendar, and they kept changing their minds and sending me new, higher estimates(three in total!). Capital hardwood LLC, the installers, were wonderful and did an amazing job and I would work with them again in a heartbeat, but dealing with Kent at Cherry City was a nightmare. After all of that, he sent me an incorrect bill (higher, of course), kept telling me he’d send me a corrected bill, but never did. Have mercy!

We decided it was time to replace our kitchen counter tops. My husband and I visited with Angee at Cherry City Interiors, an appointment was scheduled. Angee arrived on time, she measured my counters and gave recommendations, she was very friendly, helpful and courteous. We decided that we wanted to replace the countertops with Formica or Laminate it is sometimes called. The product was ordered and an appointment was set to install the counter tops. Russ arrived with the formica ready to install. With older homes when a project is started some times it leads to other projects that need to be done before the original project can be done, It was discovered that the previous owners of our home did some coverups to sell the home. Russ went the extra mile to repair the problem and then proceeded to lay the new decking and formica. We looked for new floors for a long time. We checked out many floor places, but when we went to Cherry City, we met Kent. We knew we wanted and needed new floors, but we are scientist and engineers and need help when it comes to interior design. Kent was awesome! Very personable and engaging. He made it so easy. He came to our place and soaked in our vision and guided us to exactly what we were looking for! We found someone who finally wanted to help us instead of trying to just sell us a floor. He arranged everything, and scheduled us with the best installation team ever - Josh and Roger. Those guys kicked butt. Very skilled, hard working, respectful of my house, and communicated the entire time to keep me informed when my floor needed prep work in order to meet spec and warranty requirements. We chose Cherry City because they were professional and competitive in price. When it came to things that we needed help with our salesman was there for us whenever and with information that we needed. He was never pushy and let us move at our own pace and gently guided us through the process. The installers were the frosting on the cake and assured us that we'd picked the right flooring company to do our remodel. PS. Yesterday Roger came out to do some repair a year plus after the installation at no cost. After the install warranty had expired. Roger is the greatest installer and always has the most expert way of handling things. In addition to that, he makes you feel like you've know him forever.

She has helped us completely remove and replace downstairs bathroom with most beautiful tile work in shower, and quartz counters. She designed and installed new fireplace surround. The folks at Cherry City are absolutely amazing. This is the 2nd time my family has used them. We put in new flooring at our previous residence and, having moved within the last year and a half, we knew we'd use them again. We found a great flooring we loved! Jeff and Becky, as well as all employees, were super helpful. I had tons of questions since I was installing myself and Jeff was able to help me with all of them. I probably made him crazy with all the questions but you would never have known. When I picked up the material I needed to break it into smaller segments as my Tacoma couldn't quite handle it all in one trip. The employee in the back room (I can't remember his name...sorry!) broke the delivery into manageable truck loads and helped me load it each time. He was super helpful and I was very thankful for his hard work and kindness! It made my job transporting the flooring so much easier! We are planning on doing more interior renovations down the road and will definitely go back. The quality of service and quality of products is second to none. Thank you, Cherry City! I would recommend them to anyone looking to revamp the interior of their home! I've included a few pictures from the project. It's not quite done yet but hopefully it'll give you an idea of the floor we chose and the great quality of products they have.

To start with, Cherry City was recommended to us by our favorite contractor who had used them many times as a sub-contractor. We needed to re-floor our kitchen in hardwood, and and their Project Manager, Seth Steele, quickly identified the sort of material we were interested in and showed us the appropriate samples. We selected a pre-finished white maple. Due to the presence of sheet flooring containing asbestos under the previous flooring, we had already had that removed. The installer that Cherry City sent did an outstanding and beautiful job of both installing the new sub-flooring as well as the maple flooring. He obviously had a lot of experience as it show in his work -- all pieces tightly fitted and no close joints. This was the best flooring job we have encountered both here in oregon and in our previous residence in the SF Bay Area.

We purchased all of our automated Hunter-Douglas window shades from Cherry City when we built our home a few years ago. At that time, Cherry City provided professional installation, and the shades worked like clockwork, with just regular battery changes needed. About a month ago, two of the shades malfunctioned, and after working for over an hour with Hunter-Douglas tech support, they couldn't fix the problem, and suggested we call Cherry City. Samantha at Cherry City patiently listened to our issue, and even though she was under no obligation to help us deal with Hunter-Douglas, she volunteered to do so. She got them to agree to take the shades back for repair or replacement, as they were under warranty, and even came to our house to pick them up. She shepharded the who repair/replace process, and now we have working shades again. Cherry City went above and beyond, and we will gladly make further purchases for our home through them!

Had a bit of a bumpy road with these guys but still recommend them because they did their best to fix problems. Owner Becky is very nice, and Russ the quality control/ repairs man is wonderful. Wish he would have installed in the first place. We Love our carpet and has held up great so far, had a tile shower surround, and LV flooring in both bathrooms done by them. Prices were fair in fact quite a bit lower then the quote I got from Costco for the exact same carpet, and pad, and very similar flooring for bathrooms. Did not love installers for the tile surround, and floor in bathrooms, but think they have fixed this issue now.

We worked with Angee Schmitt and Vladimir Rusetskiy on our flooring project, replacing app. 1200 sq.ft. of old carpet with tile entry and laminate. We had a wonderful experience. We felt so lucky to have Angee estimate (great attention to detail, estimate was right on with no big surprise when receiving final bill) and Vladimir install. Vladimir treated our home as if it was his own, paying attention to every detail, communicating and listening well with us, coming up with great solutions to some problems with un-even walls and step in our older home, always cleaning up before leaving for the day. He is a gem and we feel so lucky to have him as our installer! We highly recommend them and will use this company and installer again as the need arises. Love our new floors, thank you!!

You might save money at Lowe's and Home Depot but the stock products seemed to be inferior to what you can get here. Cherry City takes the stress out of remodeling. Makes the choices go much easier. Worth it in my opinion.

If I could give zero stars I would. After talking with one of the owners (Seth), their designer (Jenn) lied from the outset regarding their services. After almost five months, we never got a bid. Started talking with them in early November and they gave a very good first impression. We wanted to remodel a room with a laundry closet and half bath into a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and had asked if they could act as project managers which they confirmed in the first email back, "I am both a designer and project manager so I will be able to help you on both...you get to enjoy the ride and we take care of scheduling and project management!" They backtracked just about every promise, lost measurements, forgot aspects of the project, and about two-week-long delays in email responses where they wouldn't answer direct questions. Gave them the benefit of the doubt during the holidays but the trends in communication continued afterward. The highlights: - Promised project management and then backtracked 2 months later saying "I'm pretty much out of the process" and "This will be a mostly [contractor] thing, I'm just your design end for finishes" - Promised 3d designs/drawings "You'll be getting a 3D rendering for that to approve" and then backtracked a month later when we asked about it "3D renderings are an extra design fee" and even then it sounds like that would have just been the vanity: "If a complete rendering of your vanity is something that you are interested in" - The master bedroom parts of the project were suddenly considered extra: "[The contractor] can speak to the budget of all those extra things being added into the budget" - What really killed it was that the contractor provided by the designer didn't understand their license and found out they couldn't do the job after almost 5 months of planning, having subcontractors visit, various onsite meetings, etc. We held out because we had faith in the contractor even with the designer backtracking since the contractor seemed more engaged in the project and was working with us, but the licensing news just killed it - along with the subsequent call with the owner confirming the designer lied to us about their services. According to Seth, we "misunderstood" their services and their employee only provided an "impression" she would do the above services. You can judge for yourself but for us, it was too good to be true.

The installation was a nightmare. The installer was complaining about the tile we chose being difficult to work with (if your installers can't install the tile then don't sell it!) the large areas of wall came out good but the areas that required a lot of cuts look terrible. The installer took much longer than it was supposed to and at one point sent someone else to finish who didn't have tools and just left. When he was "finished" there were gaps in the grout, big gaps around the outlets and he left a huge mess and got grout all over the floor (this was a tile backsplash). After complaining the owner came out to look and did acknowledge what was wrong but still tried to gaslight me and insist that the installer was actually really good tried to put some of the blame on the tile again even though some areas are perfect so clearly not the tile. Ultimately they did fix some of the issues and took a tiny bit off the cost but two areas still look bad and we're stuck with it. Do not use them!

DISAPPOINTED. Building a new Hiline home. Was told to make an appointment to pick out flooring, carpet, etc. Gentlemen showed us what we were allowed to choose from. Ziltch was given in helping with design, colors etc. We did our best on our own. It's all installed. Will have to live with it. Crushed. Will not recommend.

On August 9th of this year Cherry City began replacement of the floors of my home. After discussing with their project manager Justin before the work began and the confirming with him after the work was started, I was informed that the work would be completed on August 12th for me to move in that day. Please note that I gave the contractor installer my personal cell number the day he started work. When I arrived at my home on the 12th to move in, the floors and finishings were incomplete or done poorly, the floors were filthy, Taco Bell sauce stains and wrappers were left on my kitchen counter, and a pile of debris were left in my garage. I then called and spoke with Justin about this and was then informed that their contractor installer walked off the job site without telling anyone to leave the job incomplete and in a mess. So at this point their installer didn't finish the job that he was paid to do and their project manager was very hands-off because he didn't verify that the job was finished. These things in themselves were very unprofessional, but the problems continued the following week when I had to schedule two more times for their installer to come out to either finish or correct the poor work he had done with everything still not being complete after the second visit. I scheduled a third and final time for their installer to come on the 20th but he didn't show up and didn't call me. The installer then came out without notice on the 22nd when no one was available to let him in. After this I informed them that the installer would no longer be welcomed into my home and that they needed to send someone else out to my home that would be professionally competent to finish the work. After much back and forth, on September 10th, their quality control manager Russ came out to finish and correct the work but still did not finish everything. He told me that we was going to have Justin order some more parts the next day and then schedule a time to come back out to finally finish the job. It took him 3 weeks to get back to me. After which he finally finished the job on October 6th. Almost two months after it was scheduled to be completed. I just got a bill from them today for the full amount with no discount for their continuous errors. Stay away from them at all costs and go with someone else! UPDATE: After I submitted this review I left a voicemail and the general manager called me back. We negotiated $1300 off the final price for the various issues with his employees. I feel that he attempted to make things right but he shouldn't have waited so long to get involved. Even with the discount I still cannot recommend Cherry City. They made way too many errors.

I then called and spoke with Justin about this and was then informed that their contractor installer walked off the job site without telling anyone to leave the job incomplete and in a mess. So at this point their installer didn't finish the job that he was paid to do and their project manager was very hands-off because he didn't verify that the job was finished. These things in themselves were very unprofessional, but the problems continued the following week when I had to schedule two more times for their installer to come out to either finish or correct the poor work he had done with everything still not being complete after the second visit. I scheduled a third and final time for their installer to come on the 20th but he didn't show up and didn't call me. The installer then came out without notice on the 22nd when no one was available to let him in. After this I informed them that the installer would no longer be welcomed into my home and that they needed to send someone else out to my home that would be professionally competent to finish the work. After much back and forth, on September 10th, their quality control manager Russ came out to finish and correct the work but still did not finish everything. He told me that we was going to have Justin order some more parts the next day and then schedule a time to come back out to finally finish the job. It took him 3 weeks to get back to me. After which he finally finished the job on October 6th. Almost two months after it was scheduled to be completed. I just got a bill from them today for the full amount with no discount for their continuous errors. Stay away from them at all costs and go with someone else!

Initially my contractor referred me to Leslie but unfortunately she was going to be out of town and passed me off to Angee. I was sent to choose tile flooring, carpet and tile for around a fireplace. At first the service was great and we were able to find everything I wanted. I was able to bring sample boards home and at a later date Angee came out to measure. This is where my great experience stopped. Our crew was in the process of framing when she arrived, which I told her and also advised that they could tell her where the wall would be for an accurate measurement. This was not done and consequently too much tile was ordered. Thankfully our wonderful contractor with J Forrest caught the error. The measurements were taken early February as the tile for the fireplace was a custom tile that took 6-8 weeks to be made. Naturally one would think that since she was out to measure the order was going in then, but not the case. A month later, while I was out of town, I receive an email that she lost the carpet color I had chosen. As we needed to get the carpet ASAP and was I was to be out of town for the week, I had to pick my color via email. It was at this time that I also learned that the custom tile had not been ordered, mind you she had measured a month ago for this tile and the project was to be complete mid-March! Here we are beginning of March and no tile order had gone in yet. When I called Cherry City to advise them of my unhappiness all they did was play the blame game instead of taking responsibility and fixing the issue. In fact, it was I that had to suggest they see if a rush can be put on the custom tile. In the mean time, the tile flooring arrived and was installed, which luckily there was enough since it was delivered with 4 broken tiles in the box. Finally the custom tile arrived, but the field tile was not the color I ordered. At this point I called my fabulous contractor with J Forrest and he stepped in to handle the situation. He was able to bring the board out that I ordered off of, and sure enough it was not the same color tile. Apparently the company had changed the base tile color and the board at Cherry City had not been updated. I do have to add that the custom tile did have field tile to match, but was rather pricey and I asked Angee if we could find something less expensive that would match. She said yes, but really should have said that we could try, but that I would most likely not be happy with using another company as it would not match as well as the tile from the same company would. The other tile company did try to match what was on the board originally, but it was not matching the other custom tile that we were using. At this point, I was beyond done with Cherry City and through all this learned that I was not the only unhappy customer that Angee has had, but the others were to angry to even deal with Angee or Cherry City anymore. I do not want others to have the horrible experience that I have had, so I suggest that you stay from Angee and be very leery when dealing with Cherry City Interiors, all they care about is the money and have no sense of what real customer service is. To be fair I was contacted today (6/19) by Leslie at Cherry City to try and make amends. She said that since I was so specific in my review that she wanted to go over some of the issues I had, which in Cherry City translation means she wanted to continue to pass the buck off on everyone else and take no responsibility. I told her that I should have been advised in the first place that I would not like the outcome of using a less expensive and different manufacturer for the field tile. I also advised her that Angee should have been more concerned with the outcome rather than the dollar amount of the sale. I told her that I did not have time for this and to have a nice day. To me customer service should take place the moment you walk in the store and continue throughout the transaction, it should not be neglected and then you try and back peddle once an honest review that posts your company in a negative light is posted. I have been in the customer service industry for nearly 20 years and this is appalling to me.
