I’ve used Castle Tile for 2 major renovations. First for my kitchen last year and most recently for my master bathroom. Kimmara was so helpful and friendly both times. I came to her shop several times while trying to decide on the right tile and she never made me feel like I was a bother. She personally helped me choose the tile and made great suggestions. She researched a manufacturer I saw on Houzz that she didn’t carry and ordered me samples. I am grateful that they let you take samples home too. I would highly recommend Castle Tile and will definitely use them again.

I will just share my email I sent to Kimmara. We had ceramic tile in our kitchen that was original to the home for 30 years and we lived here for 7 years and not a single scratch or chip. We bought big-box store tiles for the bathroom in 2013 and not a single scratch in 7 years. We remodeled our entire kitchen in 2019 and decided to pay 3x more for expensive Italian porcelain tile from a dedicated tile store, castle tiles. We bought extra to put under all our cabinets because we thought it would last. Within a year we had 1 chip on it. I was bummed, but thought it's fine I will just replace it in the future. Within 2 years. We had 3 places with chips and dings. It's completely unacceptable. It is so easily scratched that one time I tried to vacuum and there was a scratch on it. It is incredibly poorly made. See pictures attached. I have no idea what to do at this point. Kimmara responded, Thank you for sending the pictures. I will forward them to the tile vendor along with your explanation. I will get back to you when I hear back from them. 30 days later she sent me: Please let me know if you would like replacement tiles for the 2-3 tiles. Porcelain tile is durable and considered acceptable for floor and wall use. Proper installation and use of the recommended setting materials and grout installation should be followed to avoid breakage, chipping of the tile. Example/ hollow sounds coming from the tile may indicate improper installation and will cause cracking and chipping, tile does not crack or chip on its own. The Tile Vendor said they have not had complaints about the tile, but they can offer to give you replacements for the ones that have chips. Please let me know if you would like to get the replacement tiles and I will order them. I responded Your response somehow insinuates we have incorrectly installed the tile. There is no hollow sound. Installation is not the problem. This tile is very soft. Beyond the chips it is easily scratched. I've attached just a few photos of scratches that will not come off. We are very unhappy with this tile. I urge you to do your own experimentation of how soft the surface of this tile is, instead of immediately take the Vendor's word and blame your customer for installation. I guess replacements is the only options but it will be very expensive and the longevity is highly questionable. It's been another 22 days and no response. If this is the experience you want to have after spending a lot of money here.

Ray, the owner, has been great! I have used Castle Tile in two major renovations, and they have dine a superb job. The selection of granite and other stones is plentiful. They have wonderful fabricators and installers. I have come back for multiple requests for other minor jobs and they have been willing to do them with the same quality of workmanship. Highly recommend them, and I have to my friends as well.

I received quotes for quartz countertops at five companies. Not only did Castle Tile provide the best quote, their customer service was excellent. I was undecided as to the vendor and color, Shane was very responsive and answered all my questions, this helped immensely with my selection. I simply cannot say enough great things about castle tile. I do not enjoy shopping for tile and other home designs but they way we were treated here made the visits enjoyable. We worked mostly with Shane and he helped my wife narrow down her ideas and was always willing to just let her browse and think with as much space as she needed. He worked with us on price and delivery coordination. Never pressured us to buy from them just wanted us to be happy with whatever we went with. After multiple remodeling projects and shopping at most of the tile stores in coastal Orange County and up in Anaheim, Castle Tile was one of the best experiences we had in a tile store. A family business, you can tell they really care about their customers by how hands on they are with the details. Within their footprint (not as big as the mega stores, but still a good size compared to other local tile stores) they fill the space they have with a surprising number of tile options. And most importantly, they have a nice range of contemporary styles that are good quality. Prices are reasonable as well. We bought our bathroom and shower floor tile from Castle Tile, but the owner even helped me with some advice when I had a problem with a different tile that I bought online. Thank you Castle Tile!

I've been planning/working on a complete remodel for the past year and I am very particular about the tile I want to use, so I have been to almost every tile store in So Cal. Some stores have so many choices that it's overwhelming and difficult to shop while others have just the basic, over-used styles. Castle Tile has just the right amount and all kinds of beautiful choices, so it was well worth the drive. The owners are very friendly and helpful and their prices are reasonable. Kimmara and Kathy at Castle Tile both helped me select five different materials for the floor, shower walls, shower floor, pony wall and vanity top in our guest bathroom. It all came together beautifully. The workmanship of the installers they recommended was really good and they were all courteous and cleaned up after themselves. All the different trades involved were coordinated for efficiency. This is the second time Castle Tile has helped me with a project. The first was project was our kitchen backsplash. The materials came from Castle Tile and their tile installation guru, William of Acosta Tile, guided me through the tile layout for the best use of my accent tiles and glass art with a minimum of extra cuts.

So because I'm Costa Mesa Dave I wanted to do business in Costa Mesa. We just bought new carpet from the guys down the street at Carpet Depot, we bought a new couch from The Love Sac Store, again in Costa Mesa and we also protected all our new furniture, carpet and floors with window film we got from Signature Glass Tinting, again in Costa Mesa. We walked in and we were immediately created by the owner, she was so awesome. She listened to what we wanted and then she starts lining things up. We looked at so many options, figured out the pricing and slid our CC. The tile was ready on time, the finish and overall quality looked great and my contractor said the installation was great. If you need tile please consider Castle Tile, the owner was awesome, her team was very helpful and like I said above, your supporting another local Costa Mesa small business.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Highly recommend Kimmara and William. Not only does she have 30 years of experience with tiles, but she has a great eye for design. We didn't have any previous experience with tiles before our complete bathroom remodels. Kimmara patiently educated us on different materials and designs and we could not be more pleased. Any remodel is a stressful endeavor, so when someone can relieve some of that, it is a blessing. Add great communication, attention to detail, and integrity and that's what you get with Castle. Stop here first. I searched many of the big and small tile stores from South OC to the Anaheim area looking for tile. Some of the showrooms are huge but the selection still isn't all that impressive and nothing was jumping out at me. I did a quick google search and Castle Tile came up so I thought I would just stop in before I settled for some other tile choices that I liked but wasn't exactly thrilled with. I am so glad I stopped in here. This place has a really beautiful carefully chosen tile assortment. The whole assortment in the store is beautiful, even the ones that aren't my personal taste were still nice. They have everything you see on Pinterest and Houzz and also anything you may have dreamed up. They let me take numerous samples out and never acted irritated or bothered by me coming back and fourth and swapping out new samples. I ultimately picked out every single tile in my entire house remodel from this one store and I am super particular with what I want. The ladies here are friendly and know their stuff. This is a great place if you want someone to give you great customer service and guidance as well. I highly recommend them, whether you are a designer, contractor or homeowner you will find what you are looking for.

What a find! While visiting my friend in Costa Mesa, she mentioned that she wanted to tile her fireplace wall. I found Castle Tile on Yelp and turns out it's right around the corner from her home! As a professional residential designer, I'm in San Diego tile stores at least once a week. Castle Tile may be the best tile store I've ever visited. They carry all my favorite lines and many I'd never seen before, and their prices are very good! Owner Kimmara is passionate about tile & stone & really knows her business! They also offer installation services, as an added bonus! Can't say enough great things about this spectacular tile shop!

We have used Castle Tile for 2 major home renovations and we have referred our friends there. They have great selection and a very large showroom, but nothing beats the customer service. We waited 40 mins at Home Depot bc we needed to get basic subway tiles that same day for the contractor and after asking 3 employees to page someone from tile, we finally got help. We ended up just going onto Castle for the rest of the tiles. They have good selection, and most of all, they are friendly, knowledgeable and very patient. Some tiles/items take longer to get because they are special or back ordered so be aware of this before your project. We needed the pebble tiles for the shower floor sooner than anticipated, and they did their best to track down the shipment for us since it took 2 days longer to arrive than the rest of the materials. Whoever said Kimmarra is endlessly patient is spot on. Wide selection of tiles for bath, kitchen and flooring needs. They appear to have good relationships with their suppliers and many of the local contractors, so the process from ordering to pickup is pretty seamless. In my experience, it's not worth dealing with HD or Lowe's if you have a little time, and you are picky about tile selection. The staff will offer tips and pointers if you ask them for their opinion. Plan on spending a lot of time there because there are so many options.

Kimmara was very helpful and spent a lot of time with us selecting the right tile. The contractor underestimated the amount of tile we needed in our shower and we ended up being short a couple of pieces. Kimmara found us a couple of pieces of sample tile which saved us from delaying the finish since the tile had to come all the way from Florida. Everyone else we dealt with on the phone was very professional and helpful as well.

Kimmora was a life saver! After realizing our backyard was going to be short by 4 boxes of American Olean Infusion Beige Wege tile I went on a massive man hunt trying to find these 4 boxes. After a week of despair and not being able to wait a 3week turnaround time I finally decided to start calling American Olean retail distributors 5th call I contacted American Olean. Kimmora was delightfully pleasant on the phone contacted her reps at the warehouse found it in stock called me and wanted me to check it out to ensure it was the proper color match as some vendors relabel color codes and if it didnt match she would refund me. Sure enough start of phone call to charging my credit card took less then 30 minutes. I drove to Anaheim and picked up my purchase at the warehouse. I think I spent more time in traffic on the 91 then the 30 minute phone call and the guys at the warehouse getting the tile in my car! Definitely a pleasure and a delight. Fantastic customer service and I HIGHLEY recommend anyone who is needing tile or anything done contact them first!
