We started out with Alec our sales person who was the greatest and guided us through the carpet buying experience with knowledge and awareness of our needs and product types etc. We ended with Jason the store Manager who helped us with a problem we had with carpet color types and resolved this issue with flying colors. I had received a recommendation for a carpet installation with Carpet Exchange. I knew what carpet I wanted so I called Larry, spoke about the project and color. He sent someone up to measure and then gave me a quote that day and told me how long it would take to get carpet. Carpet came in sooner then expected and installer was up the next day. Did a really good job installing. I recommend this store. I am actually now using them for another purchase.

If there was a star higher than you have listed Jason is way up on those stars. . He has been the best ever to do business with , kind ,considerate and most interested in all your concerns. He has been there to follow through on all he does , a perfect sale man , never with any pressure given. I highly recommend him for any floor coverings you may need and more. You definitely need Jason to be the one who you deal with as well as Mark who also is another greatest worker who is so nice as well in their store. Super , pleasant people for sure that I ever have dealt with, big KUDOS to the both of them

An Amazing eye for detail! I had an extremely hard install that was a 10 out of 10. Jason Homer the manager organized this project for me and it could not have gone smoother. The stairs looks like a magazine cover and I'm in love with this new carpet. This is the second time I have worked with Jason and he is wonderful!! Highly recommend.

Went into the Westminster store at 10 a.m. Tuesday and met with Jason. Told him I needed the entire upstairs of the house and stairs carpeted as i am selling the house. He expertly guided me to a carpet and pad that made both economic and value-add sense. He immediately got in touch for measuring the house and later that afternoon I received a quote for the entire project and they could install the next day. I was extremely impressed. But then the installers showed up and blew me away with their skill and work ethic. They worked non-stop for 8 hours and installed 163 yds. of carpet after a full tear out of old carpet. Looks amazing and all done in less than 36 hours from the time I walked into the store. Truly exceptional service. Thanks Jason and Juan.

Update: After posting this I was contacted by the store manager who was very helpful and motivated to get this fixed free of charge. It ended up taking another few months because of stocking issues, but now, about 8 months after it was fixed, we’re happy with our floor. I’m moving this from 1 to 3 stars because, while we’re happy with the new floor, I still had to resort to posting an online review to get help. Original review: Less than 5 months after installation, our tile started severely cracking (see the photo). When we first reached out to Carpet Exchange, our contact promised to get it fixed, but after another 3 months, we're still waiting for the repair and haven't been able to get ahold of them by phone or email. For the price, I'd recommend you look elsewhere.

Really wonderful experience buying carpet here. The staff, especially our go to guy Robert S., we're very friendly, applied absolutely no pressure to purchase and went the extra mile to find us every discount they could resulting in a great purchase. The installers were great! They helped us move things when they didn't have to do so and the carpet installation went exactly as planned and it looks great. Very satisfied and would recommend this store and these people to anyone looking for new carpet.

When looking for carpet, we visited many places to get a look and feel for what type of carpet to get for our basement. My sister then told us about Carpet Exchange on Wadsworth Pkwy and from the minute we walked through the doors to installation, we had the best experience. Our Sales Consultant, Jason was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable and gave us a break down of the material used for several carpet options we were interested in. He also provided his opinion on the best feel and finish for basement carpet. We were very impressed with his wealth of knowledge and thankful he took the time to explain the materials, warranties, pricing and the installation process. Our installer, Jesus was very friendly, professional and the installation came out better than we expected. We appreciate the professionalism and knowledge provided by Carpet Exchange as the other places did not come close to the experience we had. Jason H was great to deal with. He explained everything from having pets where we’re installing it how much traffic area it was and what the quality difference would mean in all of these places in my house. He set the carpet on pads so we could walk on them barefoot and wish shoes. I won’t go anywhere else to get carpet or flooring. The installers were great as well did not scratch any of the new paint And was very courteous and cleaned everything when they were done.

I am writing because I had a very interesting experience in your stores this last week. I went in looking to purchase 2 large area rugs and rug pads. Bridget Wiley from your Arvada store was very helpful in getting me the rugs I wanted. Her store had the 5x8 rug and 2 rug pads I needed. However, she was out of the 8x11 that I also needed. I was sent to the Thornton store to pick it up the next day. Bridget had called ahead and spoken to Barbara and was assured that the 8x11 rug was pulled and ready to be picked up. Upon arriving, I was told by Kim Reiter that the Thornton store knew nothing of my rug or that I was coming. She said the "rug guy" was busy and I'd have to wait. Kim made no attempts to go look for my rug or see if it was in the store. Instead, she sat and ate and worked on her calculator. After 1 HOUR I was told that they couldn't find the rug (this after another sales associate eventually helped me) and that I should look on the floor and see if the rug was there. As I was making my way to the rugs, I was stepped on and pushed by Kim (I am 7 months pregnant) and barely apologized to. I couldn't find my rug and was made to wait another 20 minutes before they said they had found my rug. Once home I found out that the rug was the wrong one. After calling the Thornton store again, they said they couldn't help me because they knew nothing about where the rugs were and I'd have to wait until Monday. Monday, Thomas from the Thornton store said they were out of my rug and I'd have to wait until Tuesday. Eventually, on Tuesday I was contacted by Bridget from the Arvada store, and finally got my rug. I feel that the way I was treated and the run around that I got was completely disrespectful and uncalled for. I spent over $800 on rugs and was treated like dirt. I am appalled by how your Thornton, Colorado store treated me and will NEVER return there and will make sure any friends and family stay away as well. I am disappointed by the unprofessional attitude and behavior of some of your employees. I hope that you will provide some training for them so they know how to treat future customers.

I had received a recommendation for this store for carpeting. They did not disappoint. I actually had picked out the carpet i wanted in another state, called Larry for Carpet Exchange. He sent someone up to our house to measure and gave me the timeline. The carpet came in quicker then promised and got the installer here soon after. Installation was done very well. I have no complaints and am now using them for some other product/projects.

I really can't say enough about how great Larry was to deal with. We were shopping carpet from across the country as we decided at the last minute to update the carpeting in a house that was for sale. Larry worked with us to identify carpet brands we could see locally, helped identify what was available locally and helped identify a quality pad at a good price. It should end there, but there was a problem with the truck not having our carpet when it arrived the day before our installation. Problems happen, but how you handle them is what sets you apart. Within minutes of the problem I was contacted, they set expectations and clearly communicated what they were going to do on a saturday to better figure out how they could help me. Thanks to Jason & Larry this only led to a few hour delay. I couldn't be happier with Larry or carpet exchange.

I had a great experience with both the salesman, Larry Noyes, and the installers. Larry patiently helped me make my choices as he listened carefully to my needs. He sent me away with many samples to take home. This was the second business that I had come to our house to do the measuring and the Carpet Exchange guy made me feel confident that he knew what he was doing. (I did not feel that way with the first company I considered.) I was nervous about having carpet installed in our bedrooms because of the amount of furniture required to be moved. The installers were top notch. They were careful with our belongings and really worked hard! They even put the skirt back on the king bed! The carpet is beautiful. I would highly recommend Larry and that installation group.

First, you must know that I am not your average consumer. I do a LOT of research before I make a purchase. Based on a recommendation from a friend, I went to the Carpet Exchange in Westminster. My salesperson was Jason Homer. This guy has knowledge and passion for flooring second to none. He went above and beyond for my small job. From the quality level of the carpet, down to the color, he was very thorough and efficient. Installation was fast and professional and my salesperson oversaw the project from beginning to end. I don't mind paying for service, but in this case I received the best price AND excellent service. Thanks Jason! FIVE STARS

We recently went into carpet exchange, as we are remodeling our home. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt like their number one priority. We were lucky enough to have Lea take care of us. She was knowledgeable, honest and knew exactly what we were looking for. We didn't feel pressured, she listened to us and was able to accommodate all of our needs. We had two different sets of installers in our home and both of them were exceptional. They were detailed oriented and even went above and beyond to set my children's bedrooms back up. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an exceptional experience. Juan, Arturo, and another gentleman were our installers - and they not only did the installation, they moved the furniture around for us. I found a wonderful area rug at about half the price of every other place I looked. They are less expensive than online and I could look through the huge display and actually see the quality. I'll certainly go back again and look at the other goodies I need like tile and countertops.

Very impressed with Ken, initially we went to the Arvada location and pre-picked the color of carpet and padding we then waited for a call to have them come out to measure, 5 days later we try and set something up and the guy on the phone seemed as if we were bothering him to come out (his response was oh man I dont do those hours I'll have my bud call you).We wait again and no call. So I call and get the wrong store by accident which I get a very nice gentlemen by the name of Ken on the phone, he then tells me that he came after I get off of work, which is an hour commute home for me. He shows up at the house takes the measurements gets the carpet ordered, and sets up my appointment within 7 days. What great customer service from Ken and his team of great installers at the 10141 store. We will be using them in the future for other home projects. Nice job!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have purchased carpet from this store twice in the last year; Each time I have been very happy. The service is great, the staff is very knowledgable, the installation is fast, and the carpet is high quality. I will continue to use them and refer business to them. I'm really shocked by the other posting of 1 star. I just used these guys to carpet my husband's Man Cave and they did a phenomenal job. The cost was low, the service extremely friendly/professional, and there was little waste left after the job. When I showed up to the store, Sigrid listened to my needs, and walked me through all my options. She took into account our budget and the room purpose and set us up with the perfect carpet. When it came time to work up the invoice, she went over our bill with us and explained the charges so we were prepared for what everything was going to cost and so that our minds were at ease. Ordering was a synch and a day later the install guy called to come take measurements. He was fast and courteous. Ordering the carpet took a little over a week, which was standard and explained to us when we bought it. The install guys that came out were amazing. They knocked the job out in a few hours and the carpet looks amazing. I couldn't be happier and will be using these guys again when I need my bathroom tiled and my hardwood redone. If you have any reservations, go see Sigrid. You will not be disappointed.

If you need new carpet, this is absolutely the best place in town to buy it. I needed replacement carpet right away for my rental and Mark Carmody went out of his way to help me make this happen quickly. I had called Lowe's first because of their great install price , what a come on. They turned out to be higher price and I had to work with their schedule and their selection was a joke. Call Mark Carmody at 303-423-2700 and he will take very good care of you. Pat Hott

After writing this review we found that the communication with the parties involved on their end fell through. They have since been very responsive and have fixed the damaged flooring very quickly. I really had a great experience. Ken the salesperson was in tune and did not pressure me, yet provided the quick service I needed. Very professional and friendly. XThe vinyl plank installer Mike has 22 years experience and did AMAZING job leveling my floor and arranging the different color planks to look perfect. My carpet installer was ok, he seemed to do good job, but didn't have the same customer service attitude that Mike had, that is why I docked a star. I would definitely recommend these guys and the price was right.

We enjoyed the customer service we received at this Carpet Exchange location. We went on a Friday night, with our young children. The employees were accommodating and patient as we had many questions, and also were attending to our kids. He recommended various carpet styles, was respectful of our budget, and never tried to up-sell us on any carpet or features. He worked with our schedule in terms of installation. We were happy all-around with the process and the final product!

Our experience with Carpet Exchange was great. We popped in the store about 1/2 before they closed, had someone show us exactly what we'd asked for and ordered it. Someone came out the next business day and measured and we had it installed all within a week. Badda boom, badda bing.

We are repeat customers and have always been satisfied. The employees are helpful, the selection is good and the order/installation is quick. Our favorite area rug also came from Carpet Exchange. You can't beat their prices and selection on area rugs! We've checked out other places, but always return to Carpet Exchange in Westminster.

This was the first time I have ever purchased carpet. Carpet Exchange made it quick and painless. The turnaround was super fast, even during the holidays. The installers did an excellent job. They even found a way to transition the carpet to another area without carpet, whereas others had told me such a transition would not be possible. The final product looks great!

I recently spent $5500 on new carpet from Carpet Exchange in Westminster. It was installed yesterday, but the color is off. Compared with the color sample I was given by their salesman, it is too beige (supposed to be more gray). I brought in some leftover carpet to their store along with the original sample to show them. Apparently the problem was that Smart Strand has two different "early frost" colors, and the sample I was given does not correspond to the type of carpet I ordered. The original salesperson (Larry) certainly never mentioned that there were two different "early frosts" --best case scenario he was ignorant. Worst case he was trying to steer me to the more expensive version. The manager, Andrew, was no help in remedying the situation. If I want to fix it, the installation will come out of my pocket. He said it is the customer's responsibility to check colors. But how was I to know that a sample (given to me by their own salesman) called SmartStrand "early frost" was not the same color as the SmartStrand "early frost" I ordered? Shouldn't the salesperson have warned me? I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I believe Larry probably honestly didn't know and the blame is partially on Smart Strand itself for creating such a confusing situation. But I am thoroughly disappointed in the lack of any willingness to remedy the situation. I recommend you do not trust this store with such an expensive purchase as this.

I had carpet installed this summer. The good: faster installation dates than any other carpet place in the area. The bad: the real didn't exactly match the sample picked up at the store. Which I was okay dismissing. Second, the people they have installing carpet look like they just got out of prison. Not exactly comforting. But the worst was that broke part of my stairs installing it. Super unhappy about that. The manager wrote some useless emails trying to appease me. I recommend you DON'T give this place any biz.

We bought area rugs from carpet exchange. They needed to order the correct size, we were told that the rugs would be there, in 10 days to 2 weeks. After waiting a month, we were told that the rugs were back ordered, the rugs would be delivered in 2 weeks. The delivery came, but we were missing 2 rugs. We called the store the following day and were told that the remaining rugs would be in the following Friday. My husband drove to the store to pick the rugs up, only to find out that the rugs weren't there and if he were picking them up he would have to drive down to their warehouse in Denver. After finally getting the rugs, imagine our surprise when one of the rugs that was to match 2 of the other (exact same rug) was a full 3 inches shorter than the other 2. There are signs all over the store that there are no exchanges. So, we are stuck with 3 rugs that don't match, but we're all ordered at the same time from the same salesman. Also, one of the other rugs in a different room does not lay flat, even though large books were placed on it to try and get it to lay flat.

We were very happy with our service in the showroom when we purchased our flooring, but the install was a nightmare. They kept scheduling installation dates without checking with us first. Then there was a measurement error so our carpet installation wasn't completed. Since then the store isn't returning my calls at all. They apparently won't even finish the job we paid them for. Buyer beware here, they require you to pay everything upfront before install, then, at least for me, they didn't complete the install and have no interest in making it right. I'd be really cautious working with them. We certainly intend to go elsewhere to finish the rest of our flooring job.

We purchased carpet for our family room and laminate for a bedroom. While we are happy with the quality of the product and the skill of the installers, we are beyond frustrated with the customer service. First of all the transition piece for the laminate was never ordered. When we questioned it, we were told it is on back order. The invoice shows it was not ordered with the laminate. The day the carpet was to be installed (Friday Aug 17 --the date our sales person told us and the date printed on the invoice) no one showed. When we called we were told our installation was for Monday Aug 17. Obviously we pointed out that Monday is the 20th and we were told the 17th. They never sent anyone on Friday. We were told the installer was finished for the day (This was at 2:30pm). My husband had to take a second day off of work on Monday. The installer who did the laminate didn't bring his compressor to reattach the baseboard in the bedroom. He left to go get it and said he would return within the hour. This was at 2:15. He called at 5:30 asking if he could just come back another day. We said no. He returned at 6pm. No idea where he disappeared to for 3 hours. We tried to talk with our salesperson about our concern and frustrations, but could not get a return call. Tried to speak with the manager. Never got a call back. We finally had to drive over to the store to speak with the manager. It's been over a month now since we placed the original order. The job still is not finished. The transition piece is in but no installer has arrived in the window we were given. We have called yet again, and still waiting on a call back. We have done a lot of business at this location several years ago and we were always treated well, had professional installers and polite, competent sales people. However that has not been our experience this time. This experience with Larry and Dwayne has been absolutely maddening. While the manager did refund us $300, he NEVER once apologized for any of the numerous problems and inconveniences we encounter (I only described some of what happened here). He is only interested in excuses and blaming his own employees instead of helping them do better. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

About a year ago I got flooring for my entryway and bathrooms. It was the coretec (I love this product) I now hate Carpet exchange. When they installed the flooring it was no even close to what I ordered. Yes, it was my boyfriends fault for letting them complete without noticing it was wrong but WTF they didn't take any responsibility. The store manager at the time said I should have compared the number of the product ordered with the actually product.(I think that means, "Do not trust any of are staff because they are incompetent". They not only wanted me to pay for what I originally wanted they wanted me to pay for everything that was incorrect. Finally I said I would pay for half of the incorrect product " I will take some responsibility that my boyfriends should have noticed before it was completely installed". Did I forget to mention he was in the basement trying to keep my two toddler kids out of the way while they were there and didn't even see it until it was done. Either way first experience. Second, I decided to do my entire main level in the Coretec went in to order double check the product (not making that mistake again) I had to tell Mark at least 6 times my name, phone number and the sq ft I needed along with transition piece. He said he was going to get it ordered and would have the officer person send the receipt. Finally got the receipt like 5 days later, asked three times for an itemized copy. Received that eventually I noticed it was ALL wrong. I asked for 379 sqft Mark ordered 479 sq feet, asked for 1 transition piece he ordered two. The second I saw this I emailed them let them know it was incorrect and left a VM. Never heard anything back, called again left more VMs. Then had to leave a VM for the store manager. When I was able to talk to someone they told me they could not return product, but I should talk to my sales person. Finally the store manager called my boyfriend not me when I left my number not his. Told him are product was in and that he could pick go it up. Didn't say anything in regards to my phone call. So I tried to call him back busy again ( I really don't understand how they are also so busy because every time I am in there I see maybe one person and they are all sitting around). I talked to the office person she was another incompetent person said she could help then couldn't, just made me mad by justifying everything that was happening, she really had poor customer service skills. I said I wanted to hold for the store manager because she said he was with someone, then she said well right after he is done he need to go to lunch. This to me meaning I am not going to talk to him. Decided to go in that night. Store manager "oh I was just getting ready to call you" Right!! He said he would take care of it and let the other store know what I was suppose to pick up and would send a credit for my account for the $400.00. He didn't tell me they do not do pick up on Sunday so that was fun. When I finally picked up my stuff they have no word of any changes. Have to do this all over again with the other store, take only what I need have them give me proof, the lady there said she would follow up with me and would let her store manager know. Shocking, never followed up. Went in the the original store (Westminster) again the store manager said he sent a credit and I should see it in a few days. Got verification of a "credit". Wait for it......Shocked again it has now been three weeks and still no credit. I had to call the credit card company to dispute the amount of the transaction and still nothing has happened. I hate this place no one does what they are suppose. They seem nice but don't take responsibility for anything. I will never go here again. Hopefully either will you. Good luck pay attention to EVERYTHING. I started this process the beginning of April and it is now June and I'm still dealing with it. Awful people, Awful place. (Just as an FYI this is the first time in my life that I have ever written a review, and it is because this experience has been that bad.)

Well very disappointed, my wife was out of town the day we had carpet scheduled for install. I waited around most of the day never got a call from installer so I called the store and talked to the salesman I bought the carpet from. He said he would call installers to find out what was going on and call me right back. I never got a call back and no one showed up for install......More to come!

Been sent around from one store to another for a carpet because the one style we wanted was damaged at the Westminster store. They called the Arvada store to ask if the carpet we wanted (which they had 1 of) was in good shape. They said it was and that we can go pick it up. When we got there, the carpet was even more damaged that that one at the westminster store was. They keep claiming that the "imperfections" are caused by the bars the carpets hang from. If the way carpets are hung causes damage, why keep hanging them that way? Especially if what they sell you are the displays. Will need much more stuff for the house in a year but will not return to this brand. There's enough competition to pick from.

I am so disillusioned with Carpet Exchange. I had hardwood flooring put in two years ago and after a time, the wood contracted and there were nickel sized gaps between the wood. I called Carpet Exchange and got the run around for two years. They finally agreed to replace the wood in the kitchen only, at their expense. The wood sat in my house to acclimate for almost a year. When the installers came to replace the wood, I was told it didn't matter that there was a 1/16th width difference between the old wood and the new wood. The wood was installed; however, the 1/16th differential did matter, because there were nickel sized gaps between floor boards that were more plentiful than the original install. To correct the gaps, a silicone filler was put into the gaps, which were plentiful. I now have a kitchen floor that is substandard and not properly installed. I will never use Caret Exchange again or allow them in my house for further substandard repair and will advise everyone I know to be very wary of their practices. They are great at customer service when it comes to selling you their products and scheduling install. However, if there is a problem, good customer service and quality replacement or repair is nowhere to be found. PLEASE do not be lead down the path as I was.

I had these guys tile and carpet in my house. They seem to have no communication between their warehouse and their store. Both tile and carpet contractors showed up missing material. The tile guy showed up with tile the wrong size and the tile job ended up taking extra long to complete. The carpet was the same deal. They showed up with less padding than was necessary. To top it off, they are shady with their billing. Be very careful and read every line item on your quote. Even though they made the mistake on their quote, they tried billing me for it. I was also over billed on the tile job and getting a refund was like pulling teeth. My salesman was terrible! He didn't know how to use a phone and update me on the status of things. I had to hound him to get the job completed. Once the jobs were done, they quickly charged the balance without asking how the job turned out. Once they get paid, they don't care. I would never use this particular branch again.
