My Mom had this wonderful company do her granite tops. They were on time, courteous, and cleaned up before leaving. Our salesperson Jerry was very patient, as Mom is in her 90's, and he took the time to explain everything to her. Everyone there was so helpful thru this project!!!! This is still a work in process but these tops have made this old house come to life!

Our experience was mixed. Nathan was professional answered all of our questions and was prompt with responses and quotes. The installation process was smooth and prompt We had a long scratch/scuff on the counter after installation and we called them right away and someone was sent out to take pictures and or buff it. They weren’t comfortable polishing out the damage because of the material and said someone would be in contact. This is where the mixed part come in. They didn’t call me back and a week later I finally reached out to them, it was damage they couldn’t guarantee would buff out so replacing the section was what we decided on because they still had the same batch of material in stock so color wouldn’t be an issue. Another week later I called them back, they said they were waiting on approval from the manufacturer, and should reach out soon. A few days later I was told the warranty claim was approved and someone would reach out to schedule, I again confirmed color wouldn’t be an issue because they still had the same stock. I was called later and told they would get me on the schedule later that week and I could expect a call by the end of the week. I waited until the next week and started calling pretty much every other day, every time I called the scheduling person was out or would call me back. I left several messages and talked to several people over the next couple of weeks with no success. I finally got a call and was told they no longer had the stock of our countertop so they would be replacing the entire kitchen. This would leave us responsible for plumbing again and removing and reinstalling the appliance garage that was on one section of counter. Costing several days of labor on my part. We finally opted to have someone come out and buff the damage even though they couldn’t guarantee results. It’s frustrating that if they had just done this quickly to begin with we wouldn’t have had to settle it took over a month and a half to get this somewhat resolved. That delay caused the results to be less than expected. Overall it turned out fine and the damage won’t be noticed by anyone not looking for it.

Service was great from the sales team, to the installers and office staff. Sales manager worked for an hour with us to find something we liked and from whole installation process was easy, well communicated, and on time. We'll do business with them again if I ever attempt another remodel.

We had a wonderful experience with Carolina Custom Surfaces. Our appointment with salesman Jerry went smoothly; he showed us an enormous selection of materials. The showroom and warehouse were clean and well organized. The person who measured was precise and had the latest technology. The installers were great. Unfortunately we had an unexpected bathroom remodel and did not want to go back with tile. After meeting with Jerry Smith and being presented multiple options, we decided to go with CCS. After the project was completed, we discovered a few issues. To late to go back and report, we will just have to live with them.

I was very disappointed with CCS. We contacted them for two small counter tops for our van conversion and after sending them the size and photos of the two counter tops, they replied with a quote on what it would cost and all we needed to do is bring the van in for measurements. We agreed with the quote and we called to make an appointment and the salesman Nathan Shaw said he was not able to make the appointment and the accounting dept would contact us to make appointment for measurments. We waited two days and no call, so we called Nathan Shaw and asked to make an appointment and he now said the project manager would contact us to make an appointment. Two more days went by and nothing. We called Nathan again and he said the person who handles the schedule was sick and some one else would call to get us on the books. That never happened. We then gave up with them. My guess is our job was too small for them or they underbid it and did not want our business. It was a waste of two weeks of our time. If I had the choice I would give them Zero stars or negative stars.

I wish I could give Carolina Custom Surfaces ZERO stars. We ordered a white quartz countertop with white veins (in early July mind you). The date of install was pushed back twice at the fault of CCS. When they finally came to install, they showed up WITHOUT THE ISLAND PIECE. They said it was left out in the sun and became severely discolored - clearly they don't take care of their product! They said they had to order another one for us and they'd get it here ASAP. We set a date for install and waited. Two days before install, we learned it "never showed up" at the location, and we had to wait yet again. When they finally brought island #2, it had a huge gash in it and black marks throughout. Remember - white quartz with white veins. Obviously black marks are VERY visible. We sent it back and they said they'd order another piece and get it to us right away. Took another 3-4 weeks. The next piece came (#3) and had ballpoint pen marks all over it that wouldn't come out. They had to order another piece (#4) - when that one was delivered, it STILL HAD GASHES AND MARKS ON IT! We had been going on FOUR months for this single island piece and had had enough. We were told Carolina Custom Surfaces we're going to give us the island for free (presumably so they didn't have to keep throwing money down the drain cutting island tops to our specific dimensions for them to keep getting sent back) and decided to just deal with it - we couldn't take anymore time off of work. Three weeks later we learn that Carolina Custom Surfaces LIED and are NOT going to give us the island for free, only going to give us a measly $500 off. Had we known that, we would have sent the island back and made CCS GET IT RIGHT like we deserved. They are crooks, liars, deliver poor quality product and don't stand behind their workmanship. I won't even get into how the countertop isn't sealed properly so that dirt has gotten into divots in the quartz and is now there permanently. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. When you spend $7,500+ on redoing your kitchen counters, you expect to be happy with the results. We definitely cannot say we are happy and I will make sure ANYONE and EVERYONE that I interact with or asks for recommendations knows of our story. BUYER BEWARE!!!

This was a horrible experience! I should give them no stars. Mr. Orenstein, the sales manager, took care of me himself. The company had installed my counters twice and both times they was a drastic difference between the two pieces. When I showed the work to the new granite installers, they told me it was two different pieces of granite. Mr. Orenstein said his people made no mistakes. When he went to my new retirement home to check out the situation, he discovered I was moving into a manufactured home, I was no longer worth his time.He said to take it or leave it. I told him to take the counter back. I had waited several months to get the counter top in the first place and Carolina Custom Surfaces had a replacement counter instaled in 2 and a half days. Mr. Orenstein said they have a night shift.There were so many holes in his story about the surface ( which was polished) being wet to not being able to cut the piece any other way. The new company cut the piece so you could not even find the seam. This condescending "executive" was down-right rude to me.
