It was a real pleasure working with California Renovation on our 1200 ft2 project . With the expertise and knowledge that Jim Parker shared with us, we decided on waterproof vinyl plank flooring. He was very thorough on giving us the facts on what to expect and on how the project would go. The crew of Alfonso, Arturo and everyone else did a fantastic job. I had an appointment for Sunday at 10:30. I called 5 times and texted twice. He finally answered the phone and told me no one was coming by 12. Unless I wanted to wait an additional hour for his worker to get out of church and start to head over to my moms house. He was rude and didn't care he wasted my time. He was already paid for the job in advance. Don't do business with Tony from Carpet One in Roseville! Because as he told me several times "HE DOESN'T CARE!".

I am so thankful for Brenda at California Renovations. I had hired a contractor for a multi-phase renovation at my home. After purchasing the necessary materials, he flaked. I was stuck with a garage stall filled with materials. I called California Renovations to see if they could complete the job. Brenda said she would work with me. Her crew has been amazing. They are polite, thorough, competent, and clean up after themselves. Brenda has been there throughout the process with clear communications and quick responses. Phase 1 has been completed to excellent standards. Phase 2 begins next week and Phase 3 a few weeks after that. I would highly recommend Brenda and her team.

I was looking to replace the carpet and flooring at my house in Chico, CA. I contacted Carpet One since I had purchased carpet from them years ago. Clayton answered the phone and I told him I was a previous customer. He listened to what I was looking for and also explained the other side of their business, which was kitchen and bath remodeling. Well I actually was looking to remodel my 50 year old kitchen as well and living out of town, needed a one-stop shop. He told me he would have their project manager, Brenda Groteguth, call me. The next day, I received a call from Brenda. What a delight to talk to. She was knowledgeable, friendly and had the experience I was looking for. When we met up at my house, she made suggestions, and guided me to what turned out to be a fabulous looking kitchen/flooring remodel. From picking out materials, cabinets, flooring and accessories, it was seamless and without a hitch. She handled every aspect of managing the project, always keeping me informed as we went along. It was a pleasure to work with Brenda and California Renovations. I highly recommend them.

These guys just finished our flooring and stairs. We had expected them to simply show up and start laying flooring. That didn't happen.... Instead, they spent several hours grinding, sanding, and leveling the floors, before they ever laid a single piece of flooring. We didn't fully appreciate their efforts until we saw the finished product. Their professionalism and attention to detail makes all of the difference in the world! I can't recommend them highly enough to honor their tremendous efforts and craftsmanship. Call and ask for Kevin, he'll take it from there. Gina and Arturo did an excellent tile job for us. We had just purchased a home and needed the 2 bedrooms tiled before we could move our stuff into those rooms. Gina gave us an excellent quote and we discussed possible options of tile and grout. She kept us informed as to when Arturo would be there with his helper working. Gina was really great! She kept us informed the entire way! Now Arturo....He went WAY above and beyond. He asked what time he could come in the mornings. We told him the earlier the better. So, he said he would come at 7 am. He was there at 7 am and worked until 7 one night and 8 the other night to get the job done. He could see we were camping in the living room until the bedroom was finished. So, he went above and beyond! We had no concerns about leaving him and his workers alone in our home. They were very considerate about putting paper mats down and they were very good workers. Didn't dilly dally at all! They did an amazing job! The tile matched perfectly! We highly recommend Gina and Arturo! You will love their work, work ethic and prices.

Decided to use Rob after several estimates and interviews. Could not be happier with the outcome. Rob said he would make our family room look amazing and he lived up to his word. The installers arrived on time, were professional and polite. As I was home, with small children, they kept the work area as clean as possible during the entire process. When complete they made sure the entire room was swept/dusted and the garage and driveway were as clean as it was before their arrival. I will call Rob if we ever in need of additional flooring.

First off, they have a great selection of flooring which was overwhelming at first, but Gina helped us to sort through and find the perfect fit. We love, love the new laminate we had installed. Gina was very helpful with everything from picking the color and type of flooring to fit our needs, to measuring and installation. Getting a quote was super easy. Gina always responded back to us in a very timely manner, was very flexible with dates of installation, due to our busy lives we had a hard time tying down a date. Tommy and his crew had the installation done in one day and did an amazing job! I also did my research before hand and found that carpet one beat the price of other competitors. Had a fantastic experience with Gina and Troy! Our dog destroyed the carpet a week before my parent's 50th wedding anniversary party being held at our home so we were under the gun on time. We had to replace one room so it needed to match the rest of the house. Came in on a Saturday and Gina looked at the original piece I brought in and she matched it immediately with a brand in stock at the warehouse in a whole other building! Since we didn't have time to order she did not have a sample at the floor room....so obviously she knows her products :-) She then came (the same day) and measured and had her installer there on Wednesday. Great install! Very happy with the quality, price and schedule! GO SEE THEM!

"Gina" great sales experience and knowledge guide us through the whole process. She helped us decide on the product and did our home estimate and measurements. We had new carpet, new wood vinyl planks, baseboards, a new bathroom vanity (including top and accessories) recently installed in our home by RCO. Everything about them is top notch. One of the best companies we've hired to do work at our house. From Kelly the owner, to Jeff the project mgr. to the demo/install guys! All very professional and did excellent work. Jeff was with us every step of the way and went beyond expectations. He always returned my phone calls or texts promptly. He answered all our questions and basically took excellent care of all our needs. Very pleased with how everything turned out and will definitely use them again in the future.

We had nothing but great customer service with Carpet One in Roseville. We were greeted right away with a smile when we walked into the store to look at some carpet samples. Everyone was very helpful and easy to work with. The installers were exceptional! They were all very kind and took extra efforts to make sure our stair railing was protected from getting scratched and covering furniture nearby that could get dirty while working. Never returning calls from unknown numbers I decided to call the one from Roseville. Andy Sterling answered the phone and announced "Carpet One" ahh yes Ive done business with them several years ago. I found Andy to be nonjudgemental, not pushy, calming, polite and all around a genuine person. I was not looking to doing any new floors now or even in the near future. After a brief conversation the call was coming to a end when Andy told me that Carpet One has taken on Granite for kitchen and bath redoes. AH! HA! now he was talking my language. Long story shop I am currently awaiting for some info on redoing my bathroom and the funny part is that my flooring store might just be my new mstr bath upgrade.because of Andy. I recommend Andy to help any one with their questions concerns or comments. The best part is they finance. They saved us a huge headache. We've been remodeling our house for the last year. One of the first things we did last year was carpet in the spare rooms. We saved our master for last. Well, if it weren't for Andy giving us a call last month to see how things were going, we would have missed out on the carpet we used because it was discontinued! From there we worked with Gina who was very available and kept us in the loop. They had to get the carpet shipped in from up north. Once it was in office, the install was a breeze. We have had major work done in our home TWICE within a year by installers from Carpet One. When we first moved into our home, RCO helped us select our new carpet, bathroom tiles, and backsplash in our kitchen. Dwight was patient and very helpful during the selection process, and the materials we selected were exactly as shown. We couldn't wait to move in and enjoy the new finishes! More recently, our kitchen flooded and we had to remove and replace over 1,000feet of hardwood, as well as get the damage to the walls and island fixed. Once again, Dwight was responsive and helped coordinate floor demolition, replacement and what eventually turned into a kitchen remodel project. We used RCO not just for flooring but for our new kitchen countertop as well! And it is all BEAUTIFUL!! Sure, there were a few scheduling hiccups during the process. But this is construction and this is real life, not an episode of Fixer Upper. Shit happens, things get delayed, and timelines stretch. Installers get sick, material shipping can be snaffu'd. We went through it all. But ULTIMATELY we were educated about all those things, accepted them, and we LOVE the final result. We highly recommend Dwight and Roseville Carpet One to everyone.

Great experience with RCO. We had synthetic lawn installed next to our pool and it looks and feels amazing! They have a nice selection of quality turf to choose from. We picked the New Plush and it is gorgeous and so soft! The crew worked quickly and efficiently to get the job right. Just two days of prep and install and they were done. One of my biggest concerns was the health and safety factor of synthetic lawn. RCO was very respectful of my concerns and reassured me of the safety of the products they use. They do not use any crumb rubber or silica sand for infill making it safe for the little ones to play on. We will definitely use RCO for our future projects!

Our contractor suggested that we get a flooring estimate from the Carpet One in Roseville and we are glad we did! From our first meeting in the showroom, Gina was a tremendous help. She guided us through the process of selecting engineered hardwood, carpet and tile for our remodel in Lincoln She asked lots of questions to learn what our preferences are and then made suggestions in each category. She provided samples of the wood to take to the site and provided more when we didn't find what we wanted the first time. She came to the house and did the measurements and prepared a detailed estimate of the work to be completed. That's when Tommy came into the picture. He and his crew did a great job in tearing out all of the old tile and carpet. They did an even better job in installing the new wood flooring, carpet and tile. He suggested several ideas for laying the wood which we took and turned out great. Tommy is an artist in cutting wood to match up to existing features like the island with spindle legs in our kitchen. The job was completed in the time agreed to at a good price and minimal surplus wood and carpet. We will definitely return to Carpet One in Roseville for future flooring needs.

Excellent service and great installation on a recent carpet purchase from Carpet One at their Roseville store. One of the largest displays of carpet and hardwood flooring I have seen in the area, with extremely competitive pricing on name brand products. Gina in sales came out to measure the house the next day after I asked for a quote and assisted in getting the color choices down to a couple of colors that complemented the decor and interior paint on my home. I had the entire house measured a year ago as I was making decisions on what areas needed wood and where carpet would be appropriate. Gina's measurements came within two square feet of the earlier measurements. Her knowledge and assistance, as well as her extremely accurate flooring measurements, were greatly appreciated. She has a very pleasant and helpful personality. The installer Louie, and his assistant, were right on time the day of installation. Louie was easy to work with, very methodical in his installation methods, and great on the little details. He did an exceptionally nice job on the staircase and landing, and did a great job on cleanup when he was finished with the project. The custom ordered Mohawk carpet arrived at Carpet One at the time Gina advised it would, and the installation and sale were handled flawlessly. I'm more than satisfied, and the price was extremely competitive. When the job was complete only a very small piece of carpet was left on the roll, no waste or paying for carpet that was not used on the project. Just a great experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend Gina, Louie, and Carpet One. Each step of the way everyone was on time, displayed excellent customer service, and delivered as promised. If you are getting bids for an upcoming flooring project, I don't think you would be disappointed to add Carpet One to your list of potential stores to do the job.

My wife and I had a great experience with Carpet One. When we were researching carpet we talked with several competitors. At Carpet One we worked with Gina. She is friendly, easy to work with, very knowledgeable, very professional, and very helpful. She came out to measure our home and helped my wife decide the best color for our home. We very much enjoyed working with her, highly recommend her, and would specifically request to work with Gina again if we had a need for more carpet. On Monday this week the installation crew installed our carpet. They arrived on time, were very professional, took care when moving furniture not to touch the walls or door jams, were clean and neat in their work and appearance, answered our questions with a smile, and did a great job. We are very pleased with our new carpet, with the installation, and with the service we received. We also highly recommend the installation crew and would request them specifically if we were having more carpet installed.

We had a fantastic experience working with Carpet One. We purchased a home in Rocklin and Jim met with us promptly to take our room measurements. When my husband and I went to the showroom, there was no high pressure sales. He listened to what we were looking for, actually steered us toward the flooring on sale, and we had a write up with in a day or so. Tommy came and installed our carpet and laminate. He is a meticulous craftman and went ABOVE and BEYOND while putting in the flooring. He was dependable and reliable, showing up at the time he said he would, finishing the job in the time frame he originally stated. He asked our opinion in the different options he could do to finish our floors and baseboards and they turned out perfect! Besides being great at his craft, we trusted Tommy to be in our house while we weren't present without a second thought. We couldn't be happier with the results. We recently replaced our entire 2nd floor and staircase carpet through Carpet One in Roseville. Their sales staff are very knowledgable, helpful and excellent in their customer service approach. We worked with Rick Bertelli through the ordering, scheduling and installation process, as well as Jim Hess. We had a couple of delays in completing our installation due to the original carpet selection (bad dye lot/quality issues), but working directly with one of the owners (Earl Mann) and Rick and Jim was a big help. Not everything always goes according to plan, but they were incredibly gracious and helpful to get a suitable replacement carpet ordered and our job to completion. It's a great to see a family business handed down to the next generation continue to thrive in our local community.

This review is for the installers only! They were great guys, had a good attitude, they prompt and very nice. They did have to come back to tack down some much needed nails but again when they came back they were apologetic about the nails but very pleasant. I would of given them a 5 star but they didn't make the closet doors right and hubby had to do it himself. I would still recommend these installers to do the work because they had such great friendly attitudes.

I wanted to write this review to warn others of a problem with their installers. Everything else, the product, the sales people, and service overall was excellent! Two guys came to install the flooring in my office. After removing the carpet, there was a small hairline crack in the concrete slab which is normal. All concrete cracks! They stopped and demanded I give them $125 to cover the crack or they could not finish. The store was closed, early morning, so I had not choice but to write them a check. They held me up! They hire the worst installers. Totally ruined my wood floor. Lint and hair under the floor sealant. The floor has loose boards they refuse to fix anything. Tony the guy who represents them wouldn't take his sneakers off when he walked on my flooring. His sneakers squeaked so much it covered the sound of the loose boards creaking. They gouged my stair stringers and landing with their sander and refused to fix it. They simply suck and refuse to admit they suck. I would never use these clowns again. My floor is uneven now and it sucks to walk on.

Overseeing contractor would not come to worksite to resolve issues. If you like going to court after making full payment and having an attempt to collect again (he lost) and the owner/contractor says to the judge in the hearing: "I do not have time to oversee my workers because I have four stores to manage." Do business with them.

If your sales person recommends using bona floor polish on your flooring DON'T. It is an awful product! The polish remover is only available online and you have to use a specific cloth. Very labor intensive. Read the reviews on the bona site for the polish remover. Very unhappy with that recommendation for my floors.

*in response to their reply* Earl, your response indicates how you do business. You never addressed the very valid issue that Dwight represented himself as a salesman of your company, rather than a contractor as you told me on the phone. Your only remedy, as you told me during our conversation, was that you were going to tell Dwight "to be more careful" which is when I absolutely interrupted you, and became angry. That is not a solution for me and my issue. You still have not made this right, and I am left with floors that move, and poor craftsmanship with details so overly flawed and obvious, they have been noticed by visitors in our home, as well as the (competent) flooring installers that came to fix the bathroom. The bottom line, is that you have a snake of an employee, who billed us OVER $11k under the guise that we were hiring Carpet One, and we are not satisfied. You should be ashamed of yourself being a business owner and being totally okay with this happening to a customer. You spoke to me in a condescending manner, and didn't solve the problem, and you have not once tried to reach out to me to fix the issue, because you don't think you should, when every single contractor and flooring company I have discussed this with, has said that is the least you should be doing for us. You seem pretty out of touch with today's world and good business practice. I STAND BY MY REVIEW AND ENCOURAGE ALL PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS TO RESEARCH THIS COMPANY.

Regarding the response to my review: as you can see from the pictures, I cited damaged that was not caused by "defication" from pets. We have a Sr dog who does occasionally loose control of her bowels, however, that should not cause the level of damage we have experienced. I believe the pictures I posted stand on their own. We had an extremely poor experience with Carpet One and I stand by my original review. Run! Don't walk, to another flooring store.

Gina our sales rep was great. We had the Laminate floors installed and they were beautiful. Then we discover the floors bubbling in the joints in several locations. We call and have two of their people come out and they tell us it's from water damage. They even insuated our pet urinated on the floors!! No one ever told us that water, which we never poured on the floor, would cause bubbling of the laminate. They told us now to never put water on the floor, which we never did, and use some cleaner called Bonoa, We were never told to use a particular cleaner, we may have dropped water on the floor in small spots from wet dishes, but no one explained that no wetness of any kind can be left on the floor. We did not ever wet mop these floors. Now we have bubbling all over the place, and they say its out fault. We will not do business with them again as they made no effort to help us and never told us of any issues with any type of water or drinks spilled would cause the floor to bubble, we would have never put these floors in if they had told us of this problem. We do not have kids in the house either so they can blame eveyone else but themselves.

AWFUL customer service! Had to come back to pick it up because our quote had sizing for the carpet to be cut and they were shocked that they even offered to cut it for us and weren't prepared as the quote said it would be. Once I picked it up, they cut one of the pieces 1 foot too short and because we needed the carpet for a show, didn't have time to make them correct it. After that, the carpet broke our vacuum because it was shedding so bad (not due to it being cut as we didn't vacuum the edges), and when we called to confront them about the entire experience, they told us "that happens sometimes". NEVER going back or referring anyone there.

Do Not do business with this place. I tried to get a simple in home est. and was given the run around by salesman Bob. When I called back to make a complaint and asked for a manager Bob put Jim on, who is not a manager but a fellow salesman. I call again and this time got Earl "the manager" this place is playing games. Buy elsewhere, why take a chance on this place...
