CA Granite provided us with gorgeous quartzite countertops and did an excellent job with the installation. Their customer service was great; Ivan, Jessica, and Stephanie answered our many questions and were accessible by text when we had more. Maurisimo and his team were friendly and skilled with installation. And to top it all off, their prices were super. We are very pleased and look forward to using them again on future projects!

2 days ago Used California Granite and would not recommend! The marble countertop was installed incorrectly and tried to fix it with an inch of caulk on the right side! Had to remove and reset countertop. The back splash looked like a chain saw cut it. They had to cut another piece. The back wall was so tore up, it took me over a day to spackle, sand, paint and add new caulk. They dropped their tools in my brand-new cabinets and gouged them up as well as the walls on either side to install the countertop. And they couldn't cut 3 circles in a line for the 8 inch center faucets. Won't be calling them when I renovate the kitchen.

I drove 150 miles from VA, so 300 mile round trip that took 6 hrs, to collect two pieces of soapstone that Armando had promised would be cut and ready for collection this morning. When I got there, was told Armando wasn’t in (!) today, and receptionist, who was only person there knew nothing about my order. She tried calling Armando but no answer. So I had to leave and drive 150 miles home, and only thing I achieved in driving 6 hrs round-trip was to burn $50 in gas. After expressing my frustration, Armando kindly offered to deliver the soapstone from NC to my home in VA free of charge. The supplied soapstone is extraordinary and I am very happy. Such a shame that this situation occurred, but Armando stepped up and resolved the issue.

Outstanding selection of stone. We were able to find exactly what we were looking for at a great price. To our amazement, it was measured, cut and installed in 2 weeks. California Granite just completed my countertops. I was a little skeptical because I found them through Fb instead of an actual reference and their prices beat all of my other estimates hands down. However, they came in and installed the new countertops with waterfalls and they look very nice and I’m loving my new deep sink! There were a couple of issues that needed to be fixed. They worked with me to resolve promptly, with one of the owners and supervisors coming out to ensure it was made right. I highly recommend!

I am very pleased with the installation of my new countertops that were installed recently. The whole transaction from the quote to the actual installation went smoothly and on time. I was extremely pleased with seam area, it is barely visible. As for the cost, I was able to get granite for less than an other company quoted me for Formica.

I was hesitant to post a poor review after our install in June 2024, but after they tried cashing a check that was supposed to be shredded back in June at the beginning of SEPTEMBER and then called us telling us it bounced I decided to warn others of this business. We love supporting small businesses but we had so many issues with our install and back and forth with trying to get it fixed. We had to have them come out 3 times before they actually buffed all the scratches and gouges that we repeatedly sent photo emails of. It wasn’t until my husband met them in person (this is a house Renovation we are not currently living in) did we get everything buffed and sanded correctly, along with the island actually cut correctly. This was also after putting blue painters tape alone every gouge and scratch the first time they came out to show all the issues. There was either scratches or gouges on every counter. Attention to detail and pride in their work is not there. The seam along the sink was terrible as well and quite an eye sore but I had to let it go as we were going in circles with repairs. So back to the check situation. I dropped off my first deposit and realized directly afterwards it was a check from the wrong account so I brought a back up check just in case. They had no issues cashing the first check and assured me the back up check would be shredded in June. After going back and forth with all the repairs, my husband gave them final payment in July. Fast forward to today, September 14, we get a call that the check they were supposed to shred has bounced and we would be responsible for the fee. They should never have run that check as we had already paid in full! Not to mention 2 months after final install!! Just beware of who you give business to. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way

Beware to ask questions about where they plan to put the breaks in your granite countertops. They came out and measured and did a template so we thought they had a good idea where the breaks would be. We ended up with terrible breaks right at our sink and stove that did not match at all and even changed direction. This was our first time putting granite into a home and we had no idea the questions we should’ve asked. We assumed they were the professionals and they’d hide the breaks the best location possible and with little notice. We were wrong. Also, the markings in the granite we were given were different than what was in the slab I picked out at the store. It seems as if we were given scraps from other slabs that were not ours. It all was very frustrating and unfortunately we are stuck with this mismatched puzzle piece. —Ask questions! Learn from our mistakes.

California Granite and Flooring recently upgraded my kitchen and half bath countertops and added a new backsplash in my kitchen. The team was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Jessica measured my kitchen area, showed me available materials at the showroom, made recommendations, and provided a detailed estimate. The estimate was competitive when compared to the other companies that I considered. The work crew started on time, kept the area clean, and hauled away all debris. Jessica stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process and tirelessly answered many questions. After the installation, the crew even came back to seamlessly touch up a few scratches and imperfections on the countertops. From start to finish, I highly recommend considering this company if you are in the market for a new countertop or backsplash.
