While trying to determine my best route for building a Kitchen, upon demoing what was currently there. I explored Cabinets to Go and worked with Natalie. Natalie was very polite and efficient, she was well knowledgeable in kitchen design and helped me pick out certain aspects to the layout that I wouldn't have thought of on my own. While I didn't go with cabinets to go, primarily, based upon the size of my project, I certainly would recommend them and in particular, Natalie. Additionally, I would like to comment that the product line was very appealing.

We highly recommend meeting with Jaden at Cabinets to Go in Hartford. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and got back to us very quickly about anything. We really did this on the fly on the last day of the Black Friday sale and I can’t get over how smoothly the entire process went! We got the Nantucket Bluff shaker cabinets for reference and decided to pay for the entire install, along with the installers to come out before we finalized our order to double check our measurements (highly recommended). Cabinets to Go contracted with BJ flooring to do our install and they did the install within 2 weeks of delivery and completed the project in two days! We also cannot recommend BJ flooring enough. The two guys that came out were awesome and explained things to us very well. Next up is our countertops that we also ordered through Cabinets to Go that should be installed in two weeks. Thank you to Jaden & BJ flooring for an amazing experience. We are very happy with our new cabinets! Very, very reasonably priced and great quality of work.

Megan Khamphouvong and the whole team at the Hartford location are truly a pleasure to work with. We just completed our second project in two years with Cabinets-to-Go and couldn’t be any happier. Being able to sit down and have them create a design that brings together everything we need and want right in front of our eyes and then tweak the plan within moments so we can consider multiple options is invaluable. The quality and craftsmanship of the cabinetry is excellent and the end result is everything we were looking for and then some. We went to Cabinets to Go the day after New Year's after seeing an advertisement on HGTV. We had worked with a custom cabinet designer and absolutely could not afford their extemely high prices. We met with Megan and she designed our kitchen layout and provided the 3D photos, something the other designer would not share. She had our kitchen design down to the inch, and the cabinets arrived at our house safe and sound, and then the installers came to put them in. If you're lucky enough to have Raheem do the install from BJ's FloorIng company, and Jeremiah come measure and discuss the plan, you don't have to worry about lack of quality. They all answered my myriad questions, yes, over and over, and with so much patience. We are so, so happy with everything. You can't go wrong with Cabinets to Go. Every interaction was positive, and I would do this again in a heartbeat. I can't recommend them highly enough. My kitchen is definitely a Wow factor now. I love the stone. Someone just told me today, I can tell you paid a lot for your cabinets. They were reasonable, fast, precise, wonderful, wonderful. Megan is an artist, Raheem is a magician, and together they made a kitchen worthy of a front cover photo.

This was the third kitchen we remodeled using cabinets to go. Megan was a big help and laid out a design plan that played out perfectly in our space. Love the BJorgsen ivory and grey cabinets. Have received many compliments on the colors and quality of construction. Some of the cabinets were damaged in shipping and customer service had new ones on the way within a week or so. The whole process to get replacements was quick and easy. Also bought quartz countertops from this store. Megan again helped in finding just the right color and pattern. Highly recommend the store and their cabinets.

After going to many other places for quotes of Cabinets we ended up here. It was the easiest and least stressful thing to do. Compared and overwhelmed to other places we were able to meet with Megan right away. All the staff there were friendly as we walked in. We told Megan what were were looking for and she showed us different options for cabinets and counter tops. She was able to give us quotes of everything and different variations so we knew if that was in our ballpark to spend. She also showed us the 3d image on the screen which was really cool as we did not know what the area would look like with the cabinets. In all we were able to save 60% less than what Lowes and other places tried to get us for. They came in within the 2-3 weeks as promised. No complaints, reliable and great customer service!

I'll start of by saying I'm so glad we found out about this place, before this we kept going back and fourth looking at other retailers which were easily going to cost over 10 grand. They've got excellent customer service, amazing products and very reasonable prices. For anyone looking to redo their kitchen and not spending an arm and leg, this is your place to come! From the beginning we worked with CHRISTIAN and he was a god sent. Answered all of our million questions, and yes we really did have a million questions, or better yet was so patient with changing our layout whenever we thought about anything new. I was literally that annoying client but he was so patient and friendly with us that it made our experience that much better. Even after getting our cabinets we had to go back a couple of times to get other things and he was always there, helping me out with every question I had, and even when I didn't know what I needed, he figured it out. Im so glad we found out about this place, and were able to work with them and make our kitchen look beautiful!

Absolutely loved these guys with their designing skills and professionalism , Megan knew from the Get go what we needed per our measurements and she was spot on with her design, their prices cannot be beat, installed a whole kitchen with St James Mahogany and love it. Quality is excellent and better service compared to Big name Stores. Do not waste your time with Big stores, Go here and ask for Megan or Rachel. I would go here again.

I would recommend these guys to anyone (and have). Ask for Megan or Christian. They listen, they steer you to right designs. They have hardwood cabs. Unbelievable prices and customer service has been great. We've done 6 kitchens with this location and had no problems. We used another popular kitchen place and had nothing but problems. If u don't want to save money or you want a ton of problems go to the "other express store".

I first heard about CTG on HGTV and from a good friend of mine who just upgraded his kitchen. I was very skeptical at first and also quite intimidated by the fact that I would have to put these together myself (I'm not very handy!). All I can say is, no matter how bad you are with your handiness, this will be one of the easiest things you will do. I had about 22 cabinets to put together and by about the 3rd one it took me longer to take all the pieces out of the box than it did to put the cabinets together (start with easiest ones first, save lazy susan for last!). So it's pretty easy and the quality is quite impressive. My contractors (who install kitchens for a living) were so impressed that they asked where I got them from and when I told them about CTG they could not believe it and they certainly didn't believe what I paid for them and almost sh*t themselves when I showed them the invoice for $8800.00. At the other cabinet places I was quoted at $22,000-$28,000 for the cabinets we liked so we obviously saved thousands of dollars. My contractor, who was awesome, said he is going to tell his other customers about CTG. The only negative thing is if you live in Albany you will have to drive to Hartford or do everything over the phone (which I did not feel comfortable doing). I also have to say, the customer service was impeccable. Keane was patient with me (seriously re-designed the layout about 12 times, sorry Keane, lol) and offered great ideas and the end product absolutely blow away my expectations. I will try to post pics of the before and after if I can figure out how to (I'm new to yelp) so I can show what the St. James Mahogany Cabinets look like in a real kitchen. Sorry for the lengthy review but I needed to give details. Don't be scared, trust Keane, and trust that you will get a quality product for thousands of $$$ less!!! The hardest part about all of this was getting rid of the empty boxes, which I slowly burned in my back yard, lol!

I am very pleased with my entire experience with Cabinets To Go. The help with the design and the plans could not have worked out any better. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The crown molding was about 1 week later than expected but this did not hold up our project. The quality of the cabinets were better than I hoped for. I couldn't believe that there were not any noticeable flaws with any of the cabinets or molding. I would do business with them again in the future.

We had a good experience with cabinets to go. The staff was easy to work with and knowledgeable about putting together the design. The promotional program and financing combined with the quality of the cabinets made cabinets to go the best option for us. We used one of their recommended installers, Anthony, and he did a wonderful job building and installing our cabinets at a very reasonable price. We are very happy with the cabinets and the whole experience at cabinets to go and would definitely recommend them. I remodeled another kitchen 4 years ago and used cabinets to go then too ( white shaker ) and the cabinets are still holding up great and I have no issues with them.

My wife and I decided to remodel our kitchen this past fall. After researching and getting quotes from several companies, we went with Cabinets to Go. Our sales associate, Christian, was great and very helpful over the course of our visits to choose cabinet styles, colors, countertop materials and colors, and everything else. We placed our order on Sept.1st with a scheduled installation date of Oct. 8th. We happily did all the demo and prep work ourselves to save a little money and wanted that time buffer for that reason. On installation day we had two issues. First, we realized there was a minor packing miscount with doorknobs versus drawer pulls, but a phone call to Christian remedied that. What Christian could not remedy was a cabinet door that arrived blemished/damaged (it obviously was a manufacturing error and not a damaged-in-transit issue). I filed a claim as instructed, for a replacement door and received a case number. A month passed without so much as an acknowledgment from the company about my claim. I wrote to the company's customer service and received a reply that the claim was being processed and a replacement door was being ordered. Three months later we still hadn't heard anything at all from the company. So, I again wrote to customer service. Two weeks later I received a response that the replacement cabinet door being order for us was on back order and we should expect to wait 90-120 days for the replacement. That's when I learned the company manufactures all of their cabinetry in Vietnam, or somewhere in that part of the world. It's a bit nuts to think we're having to live with an unfinished kitchen because we can't use one of the cabinets, not to mention the visual it represents in our home. Sales staff were top notch. But once they get your money, forget about any other help. Customer service is relatively disinterested. The company overall (production, supply, etc.) is one to avoid. If price is an issue, it's worth it to pay a little more for a local company who has a vested interest in safeguarding their reputation, because this company does not care.

Bare with me as this is an annoyingly long story. I bought a kitchens worth of cabinets and designed the layout with Jaden. He was wonderful to work with. I received them and realized that there was a mistake in the design compared to my measurements that I missed so I had two unopened cabinets to return. I spoke to Megan- the manager and found out there would be a restocking fee due to needing to ship them back to the warehouse. I asked if I could ship them back with my UPS business account instead of paying the restocking fee. She gave me the address and I paid for insurance with UPS for both cabinets to be safe. They make it to the warehouse and I get a photo of the corner of one of the boxes broken and a note that they will not refund me $800 due to the product being damaged. I wasn't concerned since I have insurance with UPS. UPS asks for photos of the product to prove its damaged and here is where it all goes wrong... The warehouse will not send photos of the damaged product, only of the outer carton. Megan mentions she will have her boss call me and he doesn't. Megan mentions she will have the emails she sent to the warehouse sent to me and she doesn't. Megan mentions it was shipped to the showroom and this is why they took the damaged product when they should not have accepted it (I shipped it to the address she gave me). It's been two month of back and forth at this point. I speak to Megan and we come to the realization that without refunding me, I still own the cabinet so I ask to ship it back to the store or to me to which I find out that they threw away my cabinet!!!! THREW AWAY MY $800 CABINET. This means that UPS will not refund me, Megan apologizes for the inconvenience and I'm here with a loss of $800 for the cabinet and $120 for shipping with UPS that would have been refunded if I only had photo proof of the damaged cabinet. Needless to say, I would not recommend working with cabinets to go.The people at the store are very kind but it seems like they do not take care of their customers if anything goes wrong. Jaden was incredibly kind and attentive. Megan was incredibly kind but towards the end, started ignoring my emails and making claims that she didn't follow through with- my boss will call you, I'll send you the emails I sent to the warehouse. It felt like she resigned from helping after two months of not having anything happen. Not being attentive to a customer that is taking an $800 loss is not acceptable and far from a minor inconvenience.

There are no words to describe my frustration with our cabinets from here. My husband and I ordered our cabinets from CTG almost a year ago. They were the Platinum Grey shaker ones. I CAN NOT begin to tell you the poor quality of this product. Not only is it poor quality but EVERY single water, grease, finger print is noticeable. I have tried numerous cleaning products/solutions and nothing seems to be working. These cabinets scratch so easily that they literally look like we've had them for over 5 years. We paid over 5 grand of them. Every single time I call customer service I am told that they that the pieces could be replaced or I could have a marker or putty sent to me. When I ask to speak to the manager they give me the number and no one ever calls me back. When you read online about these cabinets they state that they there is a UV scratch resistant coating. THERE IS ZERO FINISH to these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't be fooled by their products. Now that I notice online they are 30% off!!! No wonder they're on sale they're trying to lure these out to people to get rid of them!!!!

Stop stop stop don't be sorry like me Way overpriced deceptive practices hidden fees everywhere somewhat okay product but not the best for the price and the labor involved .I was told I was getting 30% off come to find out it was just a gimmick the salesman sold me lots more stuff that I didn't need he did my design and told me everything will be alright I gave him all my measurements only when we put cabinets together it was too many stuff I try to return them then the nightmare starts he was a different animal he also try to bribe me if I give a good review he would give me one item free. If you have a problem he will not stand behind their product trust everything that you read happy customers do not complain. Hartford ct .
