An unbelievable experience! We walked in and were perfectly honest, our remodeler in FL suggested a brand of quartz that we wanted to see and BM&G was the closest distributer. Not only did Paley understand she took us under her wing and explained choices, grades of quartz and was so helpful in explaining parameters that helped us make our final decision, all while knowing she was not going to make a sale today. Top notch team. Next Vermont countertop will start here.

They were great to work with at the beginning. great selection, very helpful staff in the warehouse. was excited to work with them. They were responsive to emails and had good communication. however when it came time for the install the two guys doing the installation were not good. They installed the undermount sink and drilled a few holes through my cabinet. Okay, fine, that happens. 30 min after they left I went down to look at the sink, and the sink was protruding out from under the granite (there's supposed to be a 1/4 overhang). I emailed and they were quite responsive, however they sent the same two guys out to "fix" it. They showed up, first blamed me for installing a garbage disposal and that must have been why the sink was crooked (I installed it 2 days after they left, and it was crooked 30 min after they left...) They remounted the sink, however they put another set of holes in my cabinets (how do you use the same incorrect screw length twice?). From upstairs I heard the drill running significantly more than I would expect for installing a sink. screws in, screws out, repeat. They were cavalier, didn't measure anything - went with the cut once, fix it later approach, heard lots of cursing. This time installing the sink they decided to use the brackets which they should have used the first time. however instead of using the correct brackets, they used whatever they had in their truck. The brackets are crooked and bent, and not holding the sink at all. The two guys left, leaving a total mess. old silicone and screws everywhere (in the sink, on the floor, in the cabinets. And of course they made the same mistakes they made the first time and the sink started to move again. I stood there for a hour and made sure it didn't move till it was fully set.
I am honestly torn, because most of my experience working with them was good from selection to scheduling and the granite looks great, however when it came to the sink install the installers had no clue what they were doing, and caused me unnecessary stress and work.

I didn’t use Burlington marble and granite because it was too far away but I spoke with kaylee there and she was wonderful at educating me on the pros and cons of certain countertops. She was lovely and I suspect that they are as nice and helpful when buying something from them. Thank you Kaylee.

Met with Paley this weekend regarding new countertops for our kitchen. She is delightful and a wealth of knowledge. Let us take our time and stayed longer than her working hours to plan our kitchen. We are buying our counters here because of GREAT customer care, great selection to choose from and quite honestly, Paley. So far, a great experience! PS-we did shop around a bit. Nothing compared to BM&G!
Update: counters are in and lovely. Communication from BM&G somewhat lacking. Installation process again lacked communication but the guys were friendly. Overall satisfied after the frustration settled.

We went to Burlington Marble and Granite with a definite idea of the stone we wanted for our bathroom vanity. The selection was good and the customer service friendly and helpful. We found a beautiful piece of Vermont Marble and paid for it in advance. From that point on, everything went downhill. The templating took forever to schedule, the cutting and finishing took twice as long as we were told it would, and both times we called to get information about delivery, the response was curt and evasive. We finally received the vanity top at the very end of our renovation project, but that too was problematic. Despite the fact that our carpenters were on site, there was absolutely no communication or attempt to work with the carpenters who would have willingly made adjustments to the wall so the backsplash could fit snugly and evenly. Once we noticed the gaps allowing water to get behind the vanity, as well as the uneven sealing of the stone, we called to talk about what could be done. The response we got was rude and surly, and a promise to send someone out to look at the vanity top has not happened. If you are a homeowner with a small to medium size project, I would absolutely recommend you find another vendor.

Does Burlington Marble & Granite offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Burlington Marble & Granite performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Burlington Marble & Granite provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Burlington Marble & Granite, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Burlington Marble & Granite in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
