Builders Flooring & Design was founded by Nik McCurdy, who previously spent years renovating flood- and fire-ravaged houses. He is an expert in all things flooring and countertops related, thanks to his 25+ years of experience in the field. He launched a 4,000 sq. ft. design showroom that offers everything from carpet and tile to hardwood and luxury plank vinyl, as well as a wide variety of cabinet lines, granite and quartz countertops, wall and backsplash tile. The crew is prepared to help you make your idea a reality, with years of expertise installing flooring, cabinets, countertops, and shower tiling. They are dedicated to providing superior service from the first contact to the final countertop installation.

We had previously used Builders for our kitchen remodel, and when we moved into a new house, we went to them for our new floors. We chose a beautiful wood-look tile for most of the house, and a hexagon for our laundry. Caleb and his team were very professional, and kept us up to date on the timeline and progress. The floors came out absolutely wonderful, and the team put in a lot of work prepping our slab to make sure they would stay that way. We would highly recommend Builders!

If you’re contemplating a remodel, we can highly recommend this family owned business. We hired them to replace all the vinyl plank flooring in our villa in Sun Lakes.
Everyone on their staff was a pleasure to work with, and the owners, Nik and Katherine, were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with decisions about the products.
They provided quality products and workmanship. They were also flexible in working around our schedule so that we could remain in our home while the work was being done. Their pricing was very competitive with others as well.

We are still finishing our house so excuse the unfinished trim, but I had to share our great experience with BF&D! We worked with Caleb to find the perfect flooring for our dream home and we could not be happier! There is no question that we found much higher quality flooring than we could at Home Depot, Lowe’s, Floor and Decor, etc. Trust me, we shopped around! Flooring is such a major part of your home, it’s worth investing in something that is going to last. Caleb took excellent care of us and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience. We really appreciate him and the team at Builders Flooring and Design!

Caleb helped us coordinate the whole process and was awesome, Kelly helped us with all of the cabinet design and was so great too! We would recommend them and would use them again!

If I could give 6 stars for Caleb and his team I would! Great communication and quality work. We had our primary/master shower we’ve been wanting to update for a while, and we were referred to Caleb by a close friend - he helped us make it happen in a timely manner and within our budget, and I am so grateful! Love our beautiful new shower! Highly recommend reaching out to them for projects big or small!

I have loved working with Builders Flooring and Design. I definitely did my homework on what I wanted, design wise, and every other company was quoting me almost TWICE what builders flooring and design did it for. We are SO happy with our kitchen, and get so many compliments on it. Caleb really made sure to go above and beyond for us. I also really liked their cabinet installer. He did a phenomenal job and was super nice. All in all, builders flooring and design really were the most pleasant professionals to work with in our big house renovation! The photo is the only recent photo I have. I will post updated ones once the alcove hood is completed.

Highly recommend this family owned business! They replaced all flooring on our first floor (installed mostly wood-look porcelain tile and some carpet). It looks incredible. The dustless tile removal was impressive and allowed us to live in the house while work was being done. They also installed beautiful quartz countertops in our kitchen. It was a pleasure working with Caleb and Nik throughout the process. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. Prices were competitive. We’ll recommend them to friends and will call upon them when we’re ready to update our second floor. Thanks for helping to make our house feel like a home!

Have had work done on 3 separate occasions. Each and every time work was pristine. They showed up on time and finished on time. The most recent work was tiling 3 bedrooms, a closet and a den. When moving into my new home, it was a project...From walls being knocked out, to painters, to air duck cleans, to ac repairmen and plumbers. With all of the different people I’ve had to work with in this process, Nik and Kathryn at Builders Flooring couldn’t have treated my family better. They were super easy to work with, they fit within our tight schedule, and they did the best job I could have hoped for. Beautiful black wood tile with 5 inch white baseboards. It looks amazing! They even cleaned up nicely after themselves. I know this floor should last me a lifetime, but I know I’ll come back to them in the future for any flooring work needed.

The people are honest and reliable and their service is excellent. I had a difficult time making up my mind about which flooring to get and they were very patient with me and offered several suggestions to help me. I was kept informed every step of the way when the flooring would be delivered and installed and the installers did a great job. This is the second time I've used them in about 10 years. I was so impressed the first time I used them I kept their phone number so I could contact them again in the future.
