My wife and I were looking to replace our old counter tops with high-end quartzite and the first challenge we faced was finding an excellent fabricator. After visiting the stone collection here in Denver, which is arguably one of the very top distributors in the country, they gave us a list of trusted subcontractors with the message cheaper is not always the best route when it comes to fabrication and from personal experience, I already knew this. My parents had granite and quartz countertops installed multiple times over the years and they chose to use Lowe's and another fabricator that came in relatively inexpensive. After seeing the finished product with my own 2 eyes, I was shocked. The purchase from Lowe's resulted in a broken slab glued back together with horrible gaps between the cabinets and the stone on the backsplash and the other low-cost fabricator my parents used delivered their Quartz countertops scratched/gouged and the fabricator refused to replace it. We called 7 shops on the stone collection list and Brekhus Tile was the first to respond. They were extremely knowledgeable and communicated with us frequently over the couple of months that it took to go from choice to installation. We wanted a very specific type of Quartzite and although the stone collection was out of the quartzite of our choice, Brekhus was able to locate the same type of slabs half way across the country and they had them shipped to Denver for us at no additional charge. The Breakhus installation team were not subcontractors but full-time employees of Brekhus. They did an outstanding job on the install as did the Brekhus expert that came out to do the measurements in the kitchen. I was absolutely blown away at how tight the tolerances were between the cabinets and the stone for the backsplash. Brekhus was more than reasonable on pricing and the job they did was nothing less than worth every penny. Thank you Abby and to the whole Brekhus team for doing such a fantastic job, being extremely responsive, and helping us fulfill our vision!

Brekhus came highly recommended by our kitchen designer who only used the best. We needed three slabs. Brekhus did a great job. Jennifer was really pleasant to work with. She arranged a stone store to provide pictures of the slabs we are thinking to use, and recommended similar slabs Brekhus carried. We ended up with Brekhus' slabs. They were less expensive and fit our style better. Because of Jennifer's help, we were able to choose the slabs remotely which was a big plus. The template tech took his time to go over details with us, and he told us that he had only our job scheduled for the morning. After the template, we got digital images that illustrated how the slabs were to be cut, so we know what to expect. The installation was professional and smooth. In short, our countertop looks beautiful, and we will not hesitate to recommend Brekhus to friends.

After getting estimates from multiple fabricators and meeting with them we decided to go with Brekhus. They made the process easy and quick. They measured everything very accurately and every fits perfectly. Countertops are a big part of any kitchen remodel, we wanted to work with a professional team that knows what they are doing as the material is expensive and there is no room for error. We bought a beautiful marble slab at Brekhus and could not have been more pleased with the service we received. From the initial consult to the follow-up on the installation, Brekhus was prompt and professional. After picking out the slab we wanted, we were able to actually go to the manufacturing facility to pinpoint via a CAD program which portions of the slab we wanted cut for each piece of cabinetry we were placing them on, so we could get the most beautiful sections of the slab on the vanity tops. A week or so later, their installers came out when they said they would, and within a few hours had everything put exactly where we wanted it. It was quick, and they were very clean with their work. They even came out immediately for a quick service call a few days later to button up one extra thing we wanted. All in all, a 10+ experience. I would recommend Brekhus without any reservation.

Working with Nelli at Brekhus was a dream come true! My husband and I were attempting to be our own general contractors while renovating our kitchen. Nelli said she'd help as much as possible, and she was true to her word. Nelli, Chris and the fabricators who installed our counters were professional, highly competent and understood the nuances of our project. My experience with getting kitchen granite installed was not so easy. I was told by Tara the end of May, but it usually takes 3 to 4 weeks from start to finish. There was so much lack of follow up, I had to call repeatedly once I paid half to get an installation date which was three weeks out to four. Very difficult to get in touch with anybody or return phone calls. The employee that came out to do a laser measure in my kitchen, recommended me having a small corner piece milled down, which cost additional $300. Once they installed it it was too little and the original would’ve been better!So there was another delay there…… finally installed Aug. 21st. unfortunately, Tara dropped the ball again after coming to our home to look at our installed granite to give me ideas for backsplash and price quotes She never followed up after two weeks. I texted her again. She said she get right on it. Three weeks later nothing so I was forced to go somewhere else. My experience wasn’t as pleasant it up as I had hoped and I can’t really recommend them as apparently they’re going through a lot of changes right now.

Caveat emptor let the buyer beware! I'm going to make short and sweet already reviewed the manufacturer. We purchased Quarts counter tops from Brekhus Tile and Stone early 2020. We were advised of 5 yr warranty we also purchased the seal on the counter top 15 yr warranty. this spring I dropped juice glass while emptying dish washer and have a chip and crack that continues to grow. We contacted them 6/2024 to get repaired. They sent a guy could not be repaired or buffed out on 6/13/24. will not be covered under warranty. They don't tell you the warranty doesn't cover chip or crack caused by an impact and no chip or crack in any corner caused by nothing. So happens crack in corner. Gee that seemed to be a very low impact. with that said it took two months of a literal run around and finger pointing. My wife was told someone would call her back after two months of a weekly phone calls no one would ever get back. I think they thought or hoped she would give up. Today 8/6/25 I called after my wife called again because no one ever got back to her week after week. Today I called and spoke to the CFO Brandy Haskins who, to her credit the first person to actually call back as promised. She inform me we were SOL nothing she could do they no longer use ESI as vendor and informed me by reading the small print of warranty about impact and crack in corner not covered. I thought what than would be covered we purchased a seal with 15 yr warranty no confidence in that because they no longer do business with the manufacture that's connivant drop the vendor all warranty's VOID. The next thing I did ( I should have done prior to purchase) I learned that there are durability and quality deference's with manufactured quartz. A juice glass dropped inches and broke cracked counter top we spent a lot on money on. My opinion we purchased an inferior product, and they know it! An empty juice glass, they wouldn't have honored anyway because they don't use the manufacturer and is why we got the run around for 2 months and when the husband calls because they treat your wife un professionally you call. I hope no one else will have this experience. Very poor customer service wont stand by product think before you do business with these folks. this site requires to give them a star in order to post, that's one star to many.

After visiting numerous yards and fabricators we chose to purchase counter tops for two separate areas at Brekhus. They were very helpful and took their time to help us select the best stone slab and quartz remnants for our project. Their professional so far leaves us with no doubts that we made the right decision. Currently waiting on installation but will update when project is completed with a review on the installation.

After showing our kitchen photo at numerous tile places, Tara at Brekhus pulled three tile sample boards for me to take home that she thought would work. A hugh plus was Tara came to our house to see our style and furnishings; then, she explained why the tile finally ordered would look best. We used Brekhus' exceptional tile installers. Brekhus completed a beautiful rock fireplace surround for our condo common area this past month. It was not a huge project, but the "WOW factor" was spot on! As we were remodeling the lobby of our 100 unit condo building, completing the project properly for all 100 homeowners was vitally important. Brekhus delivered for us! They have a nice showroom with plenty of tasteful, higher end options. The sales and scheduling staff were knowledgeable and perfectly friendly and professional. They answered our questions or e-mails swiftly. Their billing practices seemed reputable. The gave us a firm date to start the work and arrived as promised. There were no cost overruns, and I feel that the labor charge was acceptable for Denver. The ledgerstone wall was beautifully and solidly constructed, despite requiring an inordinate amount of wet saw cuts of the ledgerstone tiles to complete the slightly unusual space. I had already installed a solid wood feature wall right up to the durock of the fireplace surround, requiring the tile setter to meticulously place the rock tiles up to the wood walls. He placed the tiles superbly, with a perfect reveal and hardly any grout/caulk required at the wood/tile interface! The two men worked steadily, without breaks to answer their cellphones or to go for a smoke. They cleaned up the job site perfectly at the end of the one-day project. Great experience from start to finish! I went to Brekhus on a recommendation from another industry pro, and I am so glad I listened. I was in the market for a countertop. Kim was my rep, and I couldn't be more thankful for her knowledge, patience and problem solving skills. She respected my budget, measured multiple times and helped me get the countertop and sink of my dreams. The fabricator was super polite, punctual and answered all my questions with unwavering patience. The installers were also polite, and worked super quickly and efficiently. The installer even said the seam was one of the best he'd seen, so even he was proud of the work. Kim called the day of install to make sure I was happy- her customer service was second to none! I have been recommending Brekhus to my friends and family already, but I'll continue to do so!

Although we did not use their services, we did have a good experience with this business. Our quote was a bit more than we wanted and they didn't have the granite we wanted or anything close enough to pass. Our neighbors used them for their kitchen install and recommended them so we gave it a whirl. The process was easy, the staff was nice and maybe for a future project down the road. We still have small bar area to remodel.

A total novice, this was my first serious reno project and the tile guru Sayla was wonderful to work with. I went from having a vague idea of what my fireplace would look like to a finished project with a custom glass tile offset with a quartz top that I absolutely love! I walked into their Rio Grande location and was immediately made to feel welcome. A sales person spent almost an hour with me, showing me all my options. I picked out a remnant for my master bath that was better than I had hoped for. They kept me informed throughout the process. And the price was cheaper than a big box store. Her knowledge, patience and willingness to help me through the whole process made this remodel much easier. They were great! We replaced our granite counters and backsplash. Brekhus helped us find a beautiful piece of granite for the counters and came out to the house to help my wife decide on the complimentary tile for the backsplash. All beautifully installed without any problems even with the extra work required to install the backsplash tile: mosaic had to be taken apart and installed piece by piece. Great workmanship, clean and efficient and it looks beautiful.

She provided me with information on the different types of stone and what the overall process would be, and a general timeframe for the whole process beginning to end. She has a very pleasant manner about her and she showed interest in what I was all about over and above just talking "shop," that being countertops. She always responded to emails and phone calls though I maybe would have liked that response to be a bit more timely. MY PROBLEMS THAT BREKHUS EASILY MADE GO AWAY: Do to many sub-contractors that were building our home being hacks, and some severe miscommunication to Brekhus on my part, we ended up with a ton of problems, scope creep and a very unhappy wife to boot! These were problems that quite frankly would have made any other countertop shop run, not Brekhus though, our extremely tight budget was preserved as much as possible and the team bent over backward to do everything they could to hit our short deadline and budget. QUALITY IS TOP NOTCH! Brekhus has done everything from tiny custom residential projects to some of the most challenging and technical installations in commercial landmark buildings, this long history of success and achievements was one of the biggest reasons why we went with them. I'M IN THE BIZ AND CHOSE BREKHUS FOR MY HOME: I've been in the remodeling business for over a decade and a self titled perfectionist (I sure wouldn't want to work for me). Very pleased with my experience at Brekhus. They had a wonderful selection and are located in a very convenient area to view full slabs at nearby fabricators. Abby was very communicative throughout and the template and installers were all very professional and timely. It was great to be able to view the CAD drawing to see the layout of the countertop template on the actual slab. For that step in the process I dealt with Casey and he was super responsive and accommodating to a change that I requested to add 2 inches to the countertop overhang so we could have more leg room for seating. The only downside was the additional cost to install the countertop in Fraser CO - it was nearly a 20% fee due to the two trips (template and install) though I'm sure there would be a similar charge anywhere in the Denver metro area.

I bought a difficult style of stone for my countertops and Brekhus Tile handled each step of the way with grace and knowledge. The install itself was impressive. The next day I noticed a spot that needed repair and Brekhus was back out here within a couple of days. I would recommend this company for their professionalism and knowledge.

Looking for the worst experience purchasing tile? Pick Brekhus. I've built and remodeled several homes before and this was the worst experience, from beginning to end. At one point I even received an empty/blank invoice. The biggest failure- the sales rep, in trying to make a quick sale failed to disclose the extra tile wouldn't be available for return should I have extra. Yet, and curiously she did mention a restocking fee for the tile returns?!?! So when I tried to schedule a return of extra tiles, imagine my shock that they would not take the tiles...and the best part, they blamed me for the oversight. Ridiculous. If you need tile, I've got loads of it.

Installation seemed good until they left the gaps in the photos below and decided that it was not part of install to fill in any gaps. Apparently they leave it for the homeowner to DIY. Reviews seem to indicate that they are good at installing countertops, so maybe consider them for that, but not for floor tile installation.

An employee driving one of Brekhus trucks flipped a board up on a merge ramp to I25. It flew up and hit my car on the roof and left two dents. I contacted the company and then contacted their insurance company. No one ever called me back from their insurance company so I got ahold of them today. I was told that they are not liable for what happened. We were lucky the board did not come through the windshield or we would've been seriously hurt. I then called Brekhus and was told by a lady there that they had to abide by their insurance decision. She said they had pictures of their trucks that do not carry boards and that their driver could not avoid driving over the board. I feel like even if their insurance company would not cover the cost to repair my car, they should be personally responsible for what happened. The board did not fly up on its own. As is with so many things today doing the right thing is not important. Obviously not important enough for them to repair my car. I personally will never do business with them.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Was told they put a slab on hold for us and we would have a quote for installation in 2 days. 8 days later they called and said our file and been "lost", they were so sorry, we would get a quote the next day. 8 days later they called and said they had sold the slab that we supposedly had on hold, and they have nothing else similar.

When you enter the building it is very impressive and beautiful. However searching for someone to help you took that beauty away. I have been there twice and both times I was unable to find anyone to assist me. They also never offered for me to make a future appointment. It seems that their attention is put towards the designers, and not to anyone else. With so many choices to choose from, I would never recommend even stopping by to look here.

I had similar experience to person who was never contacted with a quote after initial visit. I spent an hour at their business going over with staff possible countertop options. I then emailed information on my kitchen layout. I did not hear anything after one week and sent another email asking about quote status. I have yet to hear back.

This place says they are a 5 star company but yet they never get back to with a quote when they say. Their word thus far means nothing. Two separate occasions when they they said they would send over a cost estimate and I never received these cost estimate sheets. I feel like when you fail two times to send something over that means your done and I don't want to do business with you. Other granite places were prompt and much easier to communicate with.

I would not recommend using this contractor. Tara is one of the most incompetent sales associates/managers with which I have ever dealt. They did not reserve the stone we paid for, which resulted in our remodel not being exactly what my wife wanted. Tara then lied to us about why our stone couldn't be used, saying that it had cracks in it, instead of admitting to her mistake. The work was delayed and then the installers cracked our new countertop when drilling the holes. Brekhus' solution to this mess was to claim our new counter was more expensive and they would absorb the cost, not offering any consideration for time lost or not getting our original countertop. Ultimately their customer service is terrible and since there are many more fabricators in the metro area, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

I came here hoping to talk to someone to help us hone our choices and make some selections for our master bathroom remodel. I was approached by a designer, and I told her that I was planning a bathroom remodel. She told me to flip through their tile boards and let me know if I had questions. I found a few things I liked, and when we spoke again, she sent us next door, and told us to tell them that we were working with a designer at Brekhus. We did go next door, and had a wonderful experience there, including finding someone who actually asked us about our project- imagine! I did NOT tell them that I was working with a designer at Brekhus, because I wasn't. I have never felt so blown off by someone who I thought would be interested in providing service and guidance. I came here based on the numerous 5 star reviews on Yelp, but given the fact that they literally didn't ask a single question about our project (a high end master bathroom remodel in a historic Congress Park Victorian), I can't understand how this company is around. Perhaps the person who spoke to us was a bad egg, but the first impression was terrible, and I won't be going back, nor would I recommend this company to anyone else.

The slabs they have there on site are gorgeous, however their pricing for fabrication is around $20/square feet higher than the competitors in the area. We ended up buying elsewhere due to this. It appears they have a larger overhead to take care of.

Contacted Brekhus Tile & Stone to give an estimate for a bathroom remodel. Tara came out and took some measurements and photos. She said she would get back to us with an estimate for the work. She did a great job of explaining how they work with multiple companies to save the customer money. I was very impressed. However, a week went by and I called her to see where we were at with an estimate. She said the work was more than she could do so she referred us to someone else, someone else that never contacted us. I get that the job may have been out of their expertise, but to fall off the face of the earth was unprofessional and unimpressive.
