This is in collaboration with Blue Sky and Lowes To begin, I want to clarify that this is our first experience with a kitchen remodel, and, quite frankly, we hope it's the last. If I could rate this experience zero stars, I absolutely would. Where do I even start? Our first mistake was walking into the store. We had been on the hunt for new countertops for quite some time. Initially, I was hesitant to go to a big-box store for countertops, but after a year of searching, we finally found what we liked at Lowes and made the purchase in June. We asked when they would be installed, and the lady told us 7-14 days. Perfect, we thought, as we had family coming over to help with our backsplash during the week of the 4th of July. Well, when did our countertops arrive? At the end of July/ beginning of August. So, installing backsplash was an expense we weren't planning for suddenly fell into our laps. Thanks, Lowes. When I ask for them to compensate me this the response I get, "we'll see if there's anything we can do". I understand that supply issues can occur, but Lowes should have been more diligent in confirming this before giving customers a 7-14 day estimate. Once our countertops were finally installed, we noticed two lines running through the quartz. When we reached out to Lowes, the customer service experience was far from satisfactory. Blue Sky, the contractor responsible for the installation, came to take pictures and submitted a claim. Our countertops were eventually reinstalled at the very end of October. To our dismay, the corners were still in poor condition - a terrible job. They attempted to fix it at our house but eventually had to take the countertop back to the shop to get it done correctly. They returned on November 1st to take the countertops back to the shop for corrections. They redelivered the countertop on November 2nd, but the corners were still off. Kyle, an employee of Blue Sky, defended their work, claiming he had witnessed the machine doing it. However, being present does not guarantee a job done right. Throughout this ordeal, I have tried to remain calm, but it's evident that Blue Sky prioritizes quantity over quality. They should have caught the issues with the lines in the first slab and the shoddy workmanship the second time. Instead, it seems like they are simply hoping the client will accept subpar work. Moreover, after the last installation, the sink isn't even set straight. Plumbers who came to connect everything confirmed this and pointed out the horrendous caulk job, which wasn't even done properly. Blue Sky consistently did an inadequate job throughout this entire process. Now, we have to invest more of our time due to their incompetence and have them, Lowes, and us examine these counters. When the Lowes representative asked about our availability, and we provided it, she responded with an inconsiderate "we'll have to see if that works for everyone else as they are pretty busy." This lack of concern from Lowes is truly frustrating. These are the cliff notes are this fiasco and in conclusion, my advice is to stay far, far away from Blue Sky and Lowes.

We worked with Blue Sky directly and were very happy with the entire process. Veronica was our project manager and handled everything on our side and we were able to come look at the material before installation. The entire process was so smooth and quick and the crew that did the install was wonderful and knew their stuff! We had laminate torn out and replaced with quartz and could not be happier! I definitely recommend Blue Sky if you want knowledgeable and helpful people to get countertops you love just like us.

Blue Sky Countertops is AMAZING!!! We loved everything about the experiences. We have used them for our business and our home. There isn’t a project that they can’t handle. The customer service is unmatched to anywhere! The office team, the counter crew, the installers, everyone on the team are truly fabulous! Highly recommend for any project!

The worse company in the planet. I bought my countertops from them and it was horrible experience. First they lied to me about the measurements and how they need 2 visits to measure my cabinets and charged me for both visits. Then when i was washing dishes soapy water got on them and now it is stained badly. I took pictures and send it to them and no one is answering me. I called and sent emails.. nothing…. They keep telling me to just wait it out. It’s been 3 days and stain is still there… what a bad company… I am so disappointed…

We had major damage at our fishing cabin and so we decided to update some. We went through Lowe's and Blue Sky Countertops did our beautiful quartz countertops. We had two long walls and coffee bar ant the counters are GORGEOUS! Jerome and his crew were quick but efficient and attended to every detail! The cabin is remote and hard to get to, but they were great! Thanks, Robert, for being patient with us for time delays! Would DEFINITELY use again.

From start to finish, purely outstanding service, from the first contact by phone, email, digital template and installation. Javier and Albero were meticulous with their granite installation, professional and very mindful of the customers home while working. They cleaned up every piece of debris before they left. Highly recommend Blue Sky 😊👍

We are completely satisfied with our new Blue Sky Countertops and their installation crew led by Fernando Quijano. From start to finish, we were kept informed about what was being done and had on the fly input for any modifications that were required due to the nature of our handmade cabinets and island design. These folks are top notch professionals and very customer focused. I highly recommend their work, product and "after the sale" customer service.

Wonderful experience with installation of our master bathroom vanity top! Would highly recommend. Installers were on time, professional and cleaned up well (they also laid down plastic so no dust got on our rugs or floors). Beautiful selection of slabs and remnants- cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience.

We added cabinets to our dining room and needed quartz to match the kitchen. When I went to the Silestone website, Blue Sky Countertops was on the list of providers, and I reached out and was contacted right away with the information we needed. Once we had the cabinets installed, we contacted Julie, who was amazing to work with and was patient as she answered all of our questions. The counters were ordered and paid for, and a couple weeks later were ready to schedule. The install took all of about 30 minutes, and the crew arrived 45 min EARLIER than the quoted time. We are thrilled with the finished product, which look like they were installed at the same time as the kitchen! We are property managers, and will definitely think of Blue Sky Countertops for any home that needs a countertop upgrade. Thank you Julie, and the whole team!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE! I was a little hesitant, because the other vendor that Nebraska Furniture Mart uses had horrible reviews (luckily I googled them when they called to request a measure). But after NFM tried to get me to use that other company, I asked if they had any other vendors and they said they could use Sone Edge/Blue Sky Counters out of Denton. Donnie from Stone Edge came out to measure a couple days later. Seemed very knowledgeable and seemed to care about our wants/needs for design, function etc (kitchen countertops, shower seat and vanity top). We got a follow up/quote from NFM (basically acting as a broker on the deal) a few days later. The price was inline with what we wanted and 2 weeks later our counters were ready. The install was fast. EVERYTHING was perfect (no damage to walls, no chips in counters, etc). This was an AMAZING experience. Thank you so much Donnie, Ricardo and everyone else at Stone Edge/Blue Sky.

I ordered cabinets, countertops, and backsplash through Lowe's, and Blue Sky Countertops was the third party countertop and backsplash installer. First off, the kitchen is very small and should not have taken as long as it did. The second day they arrived, the woman on the team was wearing pajamas. The team destroyed one of the brand new electric outlets using pliers and reinstalled all of them using cabinet screws, instead of the screws that were newly installed. I asked for a manager to come see the electrical damage as well as the fact that a cabinet door could not open due to the backsplash being too high, due to the door being pinched. The manager agreed with everything and told me he could have them come back and remove the piece of backsplash to be recut, but the sheetrock would need to be replaced. I called the cabinet installers to see if they could simply adjust doors. The cabinet installers came back out two weeks later and did adjust the doors, noting "anyone who knows how to install counters should have known they cut this too high." The electrician came back out and repaired the damaged electrical outlets (for a fee). Blue Sky Countertops is not professional, did not do a good job, and did not back up the work they did. I would not ever use this company again. Lowes needs to stop doing business with them! I filed a complaint with Lowes and Blue Sky Countetops claims they did nothing wrong. Waste of my time and money, but if I can keep others from using Blue Sky Countertops, I will. #lowes #blueskycountertops

Could not be more disappointed in the countertops or the experience. Scheduled and paid for this service through Nebraska Furniture thinking they'd have reputable contractors. The photos below show the quality of work. They came out and attempted to fix it, but it still looks awful. They shouldn't have taken the job if they didn't have the crew to do it right.
