Marco and his team were excellent! We needed new countertops after a kitchen fire and they gave us lots of choices and installed the product promptly. It looks great and we're so excited to move back in and get to use it.

We contracted Blue Coral Stonework at 3212 New Easley Hwy Greenville SC 29611 to install new countertops in late October 2022. While the price was competitive, and there is a wide variety of product to choose from, the quality of the product we received was subpar. After we had the backsplash installed, we realized that the counters just didn’t look right (dull). We informed Blue Coral at that time of the issue; the surface of the quartz had a subtle orange peel appearance. The owner, Marco, immediately stated that they only guarantee the installation of the countertops. They had no desire to come out after the product was installed to alleviate our concerns but sent a manufacturer rep out. The rep from Spectrum Quartz came out on January 5th. The Spectrum Representative initially told us Blue Coral did not polish the surface correctly. Spectrum quartz took photos and told us Blue Coral would get a report and get back to us.
After two months we called Blue Coral. They stated they had heard nothing and would check and get back to us. After a second call to them they stated they weren’t getting anything out of Spectrum and gave us numbers to contact. We finally got an answer from Spectrum Quartz via email stating that the surface had an orange peel or snake skin texture which is an “inherent property structure seen when sunlight or other direct light shines from various angles…displaying the detailed makeup of the crushed quartz, resin and pigments….”
This report was disappointing because the product in the showroom didn’t look like this and friends who purchased the same product did not have this issue or appearance. It seems to us either the surface was not prepped properly or Spectrum has a quality control issue with this product.

Countertops are very nice. Very pleased with tear out and installation. Quick and easy. Front desk not so pleased. Could not get a straight answer about details of how installation would work. Deposit of half was paid before stone was ordered And after installation on a Tuesday late afternoon, dropped check in the mail (at their request) for remainder on Friday morning , got a nasty voicemail Friday afternoon saying my payment was past due and wanted to know when I would be paying. Probably would not do business with them again because of the paperwork and office hassle.

We have moved to the area and Blue Coral Stoneworks was referred by our electrician, Bobby Bishop Jr. I had picked out a quartz’s from somewhere else and they were able to get it cheaper than the place I picked up the sample. I was on a deadline and they ordered and installed in less than a week. Fast, professional, and very personable. The ladies in the office were very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend.

Blue Coral was recommended to me by my realtor. Marco had quote for me the day after taking measurements. Once I gave them the go ahead, Marco was at my new home on Saturday making a template and by the following Tuesday afternoon the countertops were installed. I requested a slight change during the install and they were able to accomodate my request. Even measuring, cutting and delivering the added pieces while the crews waited to install the extras. The countertops are beautiful, the whole process was incredibly fast and the installation crew did a wonderful job. Blue Coral exceeded my expectations. 5 stars with a bonus for going above and beyond.

The team at BCSW is fantastic. They were referred by our electrician Bobby Bishop...and they did not disappoint at all. From quote to install...10 days. Every part of the process was as they said...from quote, to seeing the counter top slabs, to decisions on how to organize the cuts, to the install. We will be back - most likely to finish the walls...

The owner of this business is shady. First of all, the turnaround was not 2 to 3 days, emplate to install. it took weeks to get him in to do the template alone. The worst part of my experience happened after my tops were installed. I had paid Blue Stone 5500.00 and my contractor the remainder. For whatever reason, my contractor had not paid the remaining 4000 yet. The owner of Blue Stone called me looking for the rest of payment. He knew it was coming from my contractor but decided to harass me about it. On our call he told me that the counters installed in my home were still his and threatened to come remove them from my house! I don't think he knows how the law works here in the US or how to keep customers. I also had major issue in faucet holes for bathroom and he never fixed them.

Does Blue Coral Stoneworks offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Blue Coral Stoneworks performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Blue Coral Stoneworks provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Blue Coral Stoneworks, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Blue Coral Stoneworks in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
