Bison did an excellent job from the initiation of assisting me with a quartz choice to the flawless installation of our kitchen and laundry room counter tops! Thank you to Candy and all the Bison employees for making our countertop installation a beautiful installation.

You won’t find better quality and price. I priced several places and got a higher grade granite for less money and this included the sink where other places charged extra. From the time I went in the first time until the project was completed, it was the best experience with knowledgeable staff. Would 100% recommend!!

Bison Countertops were great! The installation went well. They braced the under mount sink up well with supports underneath the new cabinetry. The only thing I wished would have been done differently was the use of 4 new pieces of wood as supports rather than the old pieces of wood. It’s covered by the closed doors under the cabinets but so far so good. This company is definitely worth checking out for countertop selections.

Unfortunately we do not recommend using Bison Countertops. They installed the counters in our brand new construction home in 2021 and we ended up developing a decent size crack in our counter shortly after moving in. We were running an air fryer for about 5 minutes when a very loud noise sounded and the countertop cracked. We were only in our new home for a few months at this point. This was noted on our re-inspection report at our one year warranty check and at that time the builder notified Bison. They have now taken several months after contacting them multiple times and after 4 months have only offered to epoxy the crack, still leaving it visible. They then proceeded to blame us for the crack happening and stated "this does not usually happen." I questioned why we would install countertops if we are not able to use modern appliances? Seems quite counterintuitve. We have dealt with Elisma and Hannah who have both been extremely unresponsive and have done nothing to help us. This company clearly places cheap countertops and they do not provide quality work. I have attached photos for reference. They left sticky residue along every countertop in our house, did not caulk properly and now are refusing to fix a crack that is clearly a result of a cheap product. The only thing that has been offered to us is for them to come out at caulk, what a joke. Steer clear as there are so many companies that provide better quality countertops who we will now have to use to fix their mistakes.

We LOVE our countertops! Cindy was very detailed and made everything easy. We got the leathered finish in the kitchen & they turned out amazing. I know that countertops can't be soft, but they have a softer feel than traditional granite and have a matte finish. The bathroom countertops and the backsplash are seamless! It doesn't even look like they are separate pieces. We couldn't have asked for a better job!

My new man cave granite countertops and cabinets are absolutely awesome. They even custom made me a granite countertop for my dishwasher. It supports heavy objects such as my margarita machine with no problem, which has been a great family hit. I can now have family and friends over and prepare snacks and what not. The cabinets inside are huge. It’s been almost a year now and I’ve still got lots of room. I could have got regular old countertops, but there’s something about that granite that’s just special. They really make my man cave feel cozy and more sophisticated. Bison countertops personnel were very helpful. I was very needy and what I wanted and they worked with me until we got just the right design. They also worked around my budget. Great company wonderfully excellent quality cabinets. They even came back later and installed my knob that I picked out for my cabinets at no cost.

I bought granite counter-tops for my kitchen and a marble top for my master bathroom from Bison - the price was fair and the service was good. What sets them apart to me though is their after the sale service. 1 year after purchasing my kitchen counter-tops I resealed them ... and I didn't do it correctly. All of a sudden my counters always felt dirty and began to peel. I was very nervous I just caused a very costly problem to repair. Bison came out and analyzed the problem, test repaired an area, showed me what to do to fix it, and explained / showed me how to properly seal the counter-tops for the next time... the service technician was very nice and professional... and they didn't charge me for the call... they were just really great to work with. It's rare to find excellent after the sale service like that nowadays ... needless to say I will be purchasing the counter-tops for my 2 additional bathrooms I have left to remodel from Bison.

I was lucky enough to win a free countertop at the Nashville Home Show. Meah at Bison was a real pleasure to work with, as were all the others at Bison. After a great deal of discussion and wandering around the Bison yard we ended up with a lovely quartz. We also needed another countertop for a larger vanity and Meah helped us select that, too. The installation went great and both countertops are awesome! When we remodel our kitchen we will definitely be going back to Bison.

This is a "hard no" recommendation! The quality of workmanship in fabricating my $11,000+ countertop order was shoddy and done using outdated methods. In addition, laser measurements (now industry standard) were only taken for a small portion of my counter areas. This resulted in imperfect measurements, sloppy cuts, and gappy installation. Further, and to exacerbate these concerns, the installation crew seems to be of low training and is not properly equipped to make onsite adjustments. Ben, the leader of installation, was rude to me on multiple occasions - including a time where I had to prevent his crew from driving their box truck up my driveway and damaging the surface. In this incident, where I have posted 'no delivery trucks in driveway' he had the gall to yell at me as I tried to stop the attempt. My kitchen designer has affirmed the concerns raised. The business owner (who has not claimed this business on Yelp) claims to have never walked away from a job. He has done so on my job after being unwilling to correct any of my concerns. I cannot recommend.

If you want 50% of your countertop/backsplash job to be measured and/or cut incorrectly use Bison Countertops. No exaggeration, 50% of what was installed is incorrect.
The island top and one piece by the stove were not cut correctly. The piece by the stove had a 1/2 inch gap in the back and no gap in the front next to the stove and the sink hole in the island countertop was cut 1 inch off from where it should have been. Because the island counter top was off, they had to remove material from the island framing underneath and leave a 1 inch gap on the other side of the island. The waterfall edge on one side of the island has a 1 inch gap and is not glued to any support, furthermore the cabinets underneath are no longer centered. The other side of the island has an electrical outlet that the installers cut the hole to short and to wide requiring the outlet box to be removed and an oversized cover to be installed to cover the cuts made. The sink was installed using cut pieces of wood screwed into the cabinets, which is not how it should have been installed. We were also unable to use the sink for several days as the hole for the faucet was not cut correctly. We were told by the owner we needed 3 metal supports installed to support the island top, but only 1 metal support was installed.
Upon install of the backsplash the section by the fridge is perfect, a very small gap of maybe 1/16 inch which is to be expected. The backsplash by the stove however is a complete mess. There's a small gap on the left side under the cabinets, which while larger than the backsplash by the fridge is still acceptable. The gap on the right side is more than double the left side and very noticeable. The techs attempted to cover the gaps with caulk. The section between the cabinets is also shifted to the right, with a large gap on the left and almost no gap on the right. There are 2 black jagged seems running down the backsplash which should not be there. It was our understanding that any piece under 120 inches would not have a seem and this has been confirmed by other professionals in the industry. Even if there were to be seems they should not be noticeable. I brought these items to the attention of Bryon at Bison Countertops and also notified Beth at Lowes at this point of everything going on. I was assured by both Bryon and Beth that the items would be taken care of and that there were ways to fix the issues.
A tech was sent out to make repairs. While repairing an epoxy joint the tech damaged the top of the island. There is now a ridge burned into the top from the repair. The fix for the backsplash was more caulk, which by the way does not match the color of the backsplash. He could not do anything else to the seems or gaps.
The owner and a tech was supposed to come out on August 1, 2022. After trying to contact Bryon numerous times to get a time of when they will show up, I received a call from Bryon just before noon letting me know that the owner was not coming and that he stated there was nothing else he could do.
This install has taken months with multiple visits to take photos of the gaps and seams with weeks in between each visit.

What is the fabrication and installation timeline for a countertop at Bison Countertops?
Unfortunately, as part of our independent research, we were unable to obtain information about the turnaround time for countertop fabrication and installation from Bison Countertops in Clarksville, TN. Acting as a mystery shopper, our analyst attempted to contact company representatives to clarify the timeframe for a standard 83.4 sq. ft. countertop project — however, either the calls and messages went unanswered, or the staff were unable or unwilling to provide an estimated completion time. It’s important to note that situations like this are not uncommon: contractors may be overwhelmed with work, prefer to discuss project details in person, or choose not to disclose information during the initial contact.

Our analyst may not have been able to reach a company representative, or the quote was never provided after initial contact. As a result, we are unable to objectively evaluate the company’s quote turnaround speed. This situation is rare and usually related to temporary workload or internal processing specifics. It does not necessarily indicate a low level of service — it simply means that we didn’t receive a response within the research timeframe.
To get up-to-date information, we recommend contacting the company directly through our website — submit a request, call, or message them to receive a personalized quote and clarify current pricing.
Does Bison Countertops offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Bison Countertops performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Bison Countertops provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Bison Countertops, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Bison Countertops in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
