Best Countertops Inc was a pleasure to work with. We had them fabricate and install quartzite countertops for our kitchen remodel and they did a great job. Christian and the sales staff were very accommodating by providing prompt thorough answers to all of our questions. The template person and installation crew were on time and worked efficiently. Our experience was very positive. We would recommend them to anyone looking to install stone countertops!

La Morinda is excellent at fabrication. I've been in this industry for over 16 years and I have to say, there is no one out there that seams and fabricates as well as this company does. Tony and family go the extra mile to accommodate scheduling and they don't nickel and dime on estimations. I highly recommend their service and won't use anyone else.

I had a new kitchen counter top/back splash (quartz) installed, and the old one removed. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the entire process, from the initial phone call, free estimate, and samples they brought, to the quick removal of old counter top and back splash, to plywood install while waiting for new top to be made, then one-day install of new top and back splash only a week later. They handily installed a new under-mount sink, new faucet, and disposal as well. And the corner seam connecting two slabs is barely visible! I highly recommend them for quality work at a very reasonable price!

I can't say enough good things about this place, an excellent family run business. They removed my old counter tops and put in beautiful new counters tops which they helped me select at their show room. Tony the owner showed up on site to oversee the installation. Additionally I had my cabinets completely refurnished before the demo of the old tops, not a problem for them they carefully removed them without any issues. The prices were very reasonable and the service and quality were excellent. Highly recommended!! Chad B.

I had a great experience with Lamorinda Tile and Stone. From start to finish, their customer service was exceptional. Our contractor recommended them for our bathroom countertop installation. Carlos was very easy to work with. He took his time with me when I went there to template the granite and was very helpful when I called with questions. They were also able to squeeze our project in before the holiday. I'll use them again for our next project.

So happy we used this family owned and operated tile and stone company. Our cabinetmaker referred them to us and so pleased they did. We received great service from the first day we walked into their business. Carlos was always available when I called and so helpful. He was able to get the countertop we wanted for our kitchen and did a fantastic job making the template. Their work was finished as promised and actually a little bit earlier than we thought. Because Thanksgiving was that week, they wanted to get it in for us. Tony came with three other workers and before I knew it the countertop was done. They did a fantastic job and clean up was perfect. I now have a beautiful kitchen that I am proud to show. I would differently recommend them and would use them again.

Lamorinda tile and stone installed our countertops in our new kitchen. I had a sample I loved from another place. They ordered two slabs for me and kept them until the installation of cabinets was done. I worked with Carlos and he gave me a date to measure a few weeks away, but suprised me with a much earlier date! He took the measurements and the crew brought the orecut stones...perfect fit. I asked them to use the extra stone for as much of a backsplash as they could. They covered AL L I wanted and had a very slim leftover piece only! The crew were indeed craftsmen The installation was fast clean and perfectly measured around electrical outlets etc. I would call them again in a heartbeat!!!

We used Lamorinda Tile for our counters and backsplash. They did a good job on the counter install and were communicative, and reasonably priced. but they did such an awful job on the tile backsplash I have to give one star. First of all the tiles were spaced super unevenly all throughout and all of the edges were super sloppy. And on top of that it's been 1 month since they were installed and the grout is already cracking and crumbling throughout the kitchen. I guess you get what you pay for.

Would not recommend. We worked with the Floor Store in Dublin and Lamorinda is their contractor for tile/countertops. The crew was scheduled to come to our house for the counter installation between 9-10 am however, at 10:20 no one had shown up and we had not received a phone call. I took it upon myself to reach out to Tony (the owner/manager - not sure of his title). When speaking with Tony he told me the crew was late due to traffic. Ok fine, when will they be there? Tony said another hour to an hour and a half. There was no way I believed that at 10:30 am it would take that long to drive from Concord to Livermore. When i questioned Tony, he did not have a good answer. Additionally, why didn't anyone reach out to me before the scheduled arrival time? Tony stated he was in a meeting and was "just about to call me when I called him". After informing my husband of the late arrival, my husband called Tony. Tony stated he would call his crew to find out why there was such a delay. He called back and stated that a piece of our counter-top was broken, so the crew was waiting for a new piece to be cut. Why lie and say that the crew was in traffic? The installers finally showed up around noon and completed the counter-top installation. However, they left all of the old pieces of plywood on our side yard, we had to call Tony and ask to have someone take them. We then had a different crew come out a few days later to install the tile back-splash. They informed us they had to come back a second day to grout the tile after it was set (which we were aware of). They stated the grouting would take a "few" hours, so we scheduled it for a Saturday. Eight and a half hours later they finished grouting....the crew stated they didn't realize the grouting would take so long and said it was because the tile was beveled (they already knew it was beveled because they installed it). So finally, they are done right? No, they let us know that they had to come back again to seal the back-splash (this is the first I am hearing of this). The crew then left without letting us know when they would be back out to finish the job. . We, again, had to reach out to someone to figure out what was going on. To top it all off, half of our outlets around the back-splash are not working. Lamorinda came back out to "finish" the installation, and I will let the pictures do the talking because this job looks like garbage and we are most likely going to have to get the entire back-splash ripped out and re-installed by a different company because it is un-salvageable as is. This is not what I expected for a $10K+ job.
