I had a 100% FANTASTIC experience with the manager Efrem, and Toby the installer/measurer. They were professional, provided a super quick turnaround, met my budget, and were an absolute pleasure to work with. The quartz countertops for our small kitchen look GORGEOUS!! Top quality business all the way. I am so very grateful to have found them – and so glad I didn't go with another counter place (whose bid was twice as much) or the cheap laminate counters that I almost installed. My only regret is that I didn't take better photos. Bay Countertops has my highest recommendation – we'll be going back to them with another project soon.

This is a True "Diamond in the Rough" outfit! I can't say enough about how impressed I was with Bay Countertops... From the moment I stepped foot into their warehouse doors to the final installation at my home. When I visited Bay Countertops, their location is rather unassuming, and some may wonder if they took the "wrong turn to Albuquerque". Upon entering the store, I was greeted by Cesar - a very attentive, yet, non-pushy - salesman. I explained what I was seeking in color and style for my countertops and w/in a few minutes he had pulled several choices that were nearly spot on to what I was seeking. Hence, the selection process was a breeze. Next was setting up the appointment for the measurement. Well, ok, so there was a slight lag time from the initial deposit to the measurement appointment, but, these are busy times for those in the trade and something to be expected when family members are forced to spend extended periods of time at home... They see physical blemishes of their home. Truth be said I missed the delayed said measurement appointment, myself. But, when they did come to measure, Danny, Junior and crew were wonderful and quite profession, particularly being mindful of the safety protocols now in place. At last, the installation came about 10 after the measurement appointment. I let them be because there's nothing worse than a homeowner on the backs of workers for a job like this. So, I left my home to run errands and hadn't a 2nd thought of leaving my home vulnerable and that is entirely because of Bay Countertops' topnotch crew. Upon returning to my home of just over an hour and they had already left and had my home all safe and secure. Best of all, the countertop looks spot-on! Oh, yes, they even tried to call me, however, I had left my phone at home while running my errands. So, yes, great follow-through. Speaking of that, I did notice a minute imperfection just from the cut and not the install. So, one quick call over to Cesar and... Bam, Danny and Junior were back over to my house just two days after my install. Honestly, folks, if you want through the "pain and suffering" ordering countertops through a "Brick and Mortar" store, then, agony must be your thing while you THINK you are getting a good deal (Ha, just wait for the install nightmare to follow). And for those who wish to be pampered and served a latte over ice at a boutique store, ok, go pamper yourself and pay double the price. The bottom line here is that Bay Countertops is "THE REAL DEAL"... From a wide selection of countertop samples to choose from and a front man who actually is attentive, listens and who comes up w/ suggestive choices that hit the note of what you seek to final installation, I can't rave enough about this company. Oh, and the icing on the cake... Their pricing blew away that, "Depot" and "Expo" others. I will be highly recommending Bay Countertops to all my residential real estate clients w/o any hesitation. As a fabricator of granite, marble, man made slabs too, they know what they are doing with very friendly knowledgeable service. The marble that we had picked had a slight fissure running through it that was noticeable after installation. They came and replaced it (n/c) with no fuss or irritation. They can create almost anything out of the slabs. There are also leftover slabs at greatly reduced cost if you need something for a small area too. No job is too big or small for them. Highly recommend.

I think this is pertinent; everything takes longer these days and patience is truly a virtue, we all need to remember this going forward. My experience with Bay Countertops ended up a complete success. Here is my brief story… The customer service from the start was A+. I picked out my countertop from their terrific selection. Weeks later, the project hit a couple of bumps in the road. The material I ordered took longer than expected. While I was extremely disappointed, Caesar and his team did their best to make it all right. Was there a time where I doubted that it would get done? Yes. Were there moments that my anxiety was high because Thanksgiving was quickly approaching and the project wasn’t finished? Yes. Did the project get completed flawlessly? 100%. Caesar and his team immediately responded to my worries and took action. On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving the countertops were done. The plumbing and new fixtures were installed and it was beautiful. If I could do this all over, would I choose Bay Countertops? Again, 100%! Every person was professional, courteous, and an expert at their job. What I realized through this whole process is that nothing is quick and easy. The pandemic has made everything difficult. Have this mindset and know that regardless of bumps in the road, these people are professionals and the end result is worth every stressful moment. Thank you to their team.

Our kitchen required a unique expertise and out of the box problem solving to finish the job due to the cumbersome removal of the old heavy duty epoxy counters and the odd configuration of our counter top space. After waiting for years to replace our kitchen counters, we visited Bay Countertops office, where they showed us a Silestone quartz slab they had on site, (which turned out to be exactly what we were looking for) and scheduled the install. They were able to come to our house and do the measurements and the template the day after the demolition and installation of the plywood base by our contractor/handyman, and they returned to install the counter and 6" backsplash a couple of days later. Our contractor then finished up the plumbing and painting the following day. Everything went far faster than we anticipated, everyone was very helpful and friendly, it was a pleasure to have them working in our kitchen! We are 100% pleased with the job, and highly recommend them!

Bay Countertops helped me with what I thought would be a 'minor' granite countertop project. But multiple other countertop installers said it wasn't within their abilities. Then I did find one other contractor who gave me a quote. Cesar at Bay Countertops came in at half their price! Communication was smooth, scheduling was easy, Cesar's team arrived and knocked the job out quickly. (Ok, sure, they arrived a little later than they originally projected, but in my prior experience, that's the case with 95% of all contractor appointments! I'm not going to hold that against them.) I don't have any set plans for more countertop work in the future, but if I do, I will definitely turn to Cesar and Bay Countertops first!

I am not sure if I have ever posted a review on Yelp before, but Cesar and his crew are just awesome. Let me preface by saying I know I can be a hard customer to work with because I tend to ask a lot of questions and often want to think about decisions for a bit before moving forward. Cesar was super patient with me as we were making decisions for our kitchen countertops, and he spent the time to walk me through all the different vendor products pros/cons as well as the different dimensions of the slabs for our project. I went in thinking I wanted a particular brand, thickness, and style of counter tops, but after talking with Cesar, we ended up going with a different brand, thickness, and style, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Once we made a decision, the process went by very smoothly. His crew is extremely professional, and their work is really impeccable. Very impressed overall! Can't say enough good things. Due to a lot of the shelter in place issues, they can be hard to get in touch with, but their skills are well-worth those challenges.

I don't often write reviews but Cesar and his crew were awesome. All we wanted was to match what was in our kitchen in wood with Quartz. We wanted the same thickness and the same curves but other companies said we couldn't have both the thickness and the curves and just pick which one we wanted more. Bay Countertops said no problem, they do it all the time. They were so confident I had to grill them to make sure they weren't blowing smoke. In the end they did exactly what they said they would. I uploaded pictures and the curves are incredible. The pattern even wraps and it's beautiful! Great company, great work and good prices. Not the cheapest or the most expensive but worth the money. We couldn't be happier.

Top Notch! Exceeded Expectations by a mile! My wife and I went to numerous tile and stone places and visited various fabricators, and we were very happy that we chose Bay Countertops in Richmond for our home in Marin County. Caesar was extremely responsive and gave us great advice on materials, design, color as well as practical installation issues. The crews arrived on time and did a fantastic job. It is real artistry to get everything finished just right and the workmanship was really impressive. They paid great attention to detail. What was really impressive was the follow-up. They needed to come back and finish a couple of little details and they arrived just like clockwork and made sure the job was completed to our full satisfaction. They also had some beautiful remnants and they made a 36 inch round dinette table for us that is fantastic. Could have saved us a great deal of time if we went there first instead of running around the bay area. We were concerned when we started thinking about redoing our kitchen counters and backsplash that it would be a big and painful ordeal, It truns out it could not have been easier. I give these guys a 10 star review if I can! I first got countertops from Home Depot and was a total disaster. I called them and they came to my rescue! They were able to do the bath tub without seams (unlike Duracite who came with four seams) and they gave me a quote over the phone since I had the template already. Efren came to measure and was able to install for me in a week knowing I have been stuck with a non working bathroom for months! They also helped me look for a slab within my budget since the one I originally pick was only offered at Home Depot!

Bay Countertops not only has a great selection of full pieces ready to customize, they have a ton of remnants in many sizes. We wanted white quartz for the bathroom. This was a tiny countertop so a remnant was perfect. They treated us and the project like it was a major project. We wanted a mitered edge so the top and front (and side) would be seamless. Wow, wow, wow, did they do an awesome job! May be hard to see in the photo because all you can see is smooth quartz - and that's exactly what we wanted. We're still deciding whether to have them cut a backsplash, so that bit is missing, but I wanted to get this up now.

Very pleased with our new kitchen countertops (Silestone quartz in blanco orion). Cesar was able to work within our budget and schedule. The wait time between template and install was only one week! The crew was very open to my personal requests for modifications to the farm sink overhang and design. In the entire kitchen, we only have one small seam behind the sink. Cesar provided me with the Silestone warranty via email within a couple days.

These guys are great! Junior answered all my questions when they came out to template on Friday. Today is Thursday and they were just here to install my quartz countertop. The joints are like 1 mm and Danny, the "Picasso" of epoxy had a whole palette of different color epoxies to blend into the best match possible. He did an excellent job! My contractor told me to check out how the edges are mitered in and how this makes the best looking edge. The usual way is that two pieces of quartz are joined so that you can see the line. I'm very happy with the way my countertop turned out!

Danny and crew did an amazing job on our challenging bathroom renovation - from giving helpful, friendly advice on selecting & laying out cuts on our onyx slab, to the perfect installation of our 9' long one-piece countertop and shower niches. He was even able to slice some pieces down to half-thickness for our fancy backlit / translucent light panels... all with honey onyx, a beautiful but extremely fragile stone. It's the centerpiece of our bathroom and Danny's work was truly flawless, all at a very fair price - I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

I LOVE these guys! They are professional, courteous, timely.... just all around great guys. I had a countertop company double their price and reschedule me for a month from the original install date, needless to say I cancelled them but had to find someone quick. Bay came out the next day to template and installed one week later. They went out of their way to help us out in a terrible situation. I would recommend Bay to anyone and I look forward to working with them again. Great customer service still exists :)

I am adding to my previous review: Today Cesar came to my house and did the reseal. It looks good and I hope this is what is needed to prevent mould. It is good that this reseal was done; however, I hope that for the next customer it will not be as difficult to ask for help to resolve an issue. Cesar is a very nice individual, and I am pleased he came by to fix the problem.

The crew here is excellent. We had a kitchen renovation job a few years ago and came here based on a recommendation. Caesar was upfront, honest, and even though there was a slight mistake, he told us that the next time we came back he'd make sure he made it worth our while. The work they do is top notch. It isn't easy finding a fabricator that you can trust and depend on. Having to find someone to fabricate a custom quartz countertop for my new bathroom cabinets gave me extreme anxiety. My uncle started losing his strength and when he used the bathroom, used the sink as a support. Over some time, the pipes became unaligned and leaked. I added legs to the sink and sealed up the pipes, but thought it would be nice to add a counter to the bathroom. I found these guys on Yelp and were happy too know they were local. They came on over and I told them what I wanted, even though I didn't know the terminology, they knew exactly how I wanted it. They gave me several samples of granite and finishes to look at, and I just went with the simple stuff, but it still looked great to me. One big hiccup that bothered me during this whole process was that when they removed the old sink, they caused an even larger leak, though temporarily. I would have to replace the bucket every 5-6 hours to avoid flooding my bathroom and hallway. Unfortunately, the first night I was unable to do so and I woke up to a damp hallway rug and a bathroom covered in water. Luckily this was only for one weekend. That explains the removed star. They were also late to one appointment, but they deducted $100 off my bill which made that all good, but the flooding was the real pain. I have also recommended Bay Countertops to other friends and family. They have had less luck with BC as they don't seem as responsive as they were to me. Despite all this, my family and I were very satisfied with the end product and are glad we went with BC.

We paid a 50% deposit to have our kitchen counter refinished. Adriana confirmed receipt of the deposit and said the owner Cesar was scheduled to come out to do the work. abso the worst experience I've had in 15 years in the building trades. They gave a high bid but promised a quick turnaround, which was important on this job. They didn't show for the first template appointment, no call. They didn't show for the second appointment no call, no communication. Lots of excuses and three more no shows and three weeks past the other lower bid, and they say they're going to give a discount. They show up late, finish the job with a bunch of problems, then send me a bill with no discount, then threaten a mechanic Lein when I call them on it. A total nightmare. Avoid this lousy company.

I called this company to do my countertops. When someone answered, they requested that I do all of the measurements and sent a picture to them of my kitchen. They also told me to draw out a diagram. I felt like this was a bit much for me being a customer but I did it anyway. After I sent them all pictures with measurements and a diagram, they never got back to me. I called them and the guy said that he will get a quote to me later that day. Never heard from them again. So 1 star because customer service is everything. We will be spending thousands of dollars on the countertops. At least they should do the measurements and get back to you with you having to call them back. Plus, what if my measurements were wrong?

Don't believe the 4 1/2 star reviews that you see here! It is a lie! It's probably all of the owners close friends and families trying to hype up the place. I contacted the company via yelp to ask for an estimate and they turned me down. They accused me of using a "fake" photo and told me they didn't do commercial work based on ONE photo I sent. I reached out to the owner and clarified that I was not requesting for any commercial work. I own the condo that I live in and that I wanted to upgrade the counters. He asked that I give him a call so he could send someone to my home. However, I didn't feel like it was necessary since I am shopping around and comparing prices. I am only asking for a ballpark of how much it would cost. I sent all measurements and photos of my kitchen and bathroom as he had requested previously but did not get any response after that. There's plenty of great places in the bay. I will gladly take my service else where, where I am welcome and not accused of something based off of a petty photo!

Cesar was twice scheduled to come out and template. Both times he stood me up. First time he had some dramatic excuse. Second time I never heard back. Total flake. Proceed at your own risk unless you don't value your own time.
