I needed a larger cut out for a new stovetop that I bought. Although I bought the same size top as a replacement, it was a different brand and needed a slightly larger cutout. Many of the places I contacted only wanted a full remodel to replace my granite which I did not need. Yuri was awesome. He came to the house and did the work quickly cleaning up the area after the work. I really appreciate contractors that even are willing to do the smaller jobs. This company is number 1 for me and will use them if I decide to do a larger remodel in the future.

Avrio is the best! My wife and I just remodeled our home, and Yuri and his team took great care of us. Honest pricing, great quality, and fantastic customer service. We initially had our kitchen countertops replaced, but we’re so pleased with the results that we ended up having them replace our laundry room countertops as well. The sales staff was helpful in recommending colors, products, and details like the optimal height of the backsplash, etc. the installation team was fast and friendly. Since the initial installation, the team at Avrio have been available for questions - and even a fantastic repair job after I accidentally dropped some cast iron on the edge of the countertop. Fantastic company - ask for Yuri when you call!

I contacted Heidi Tallent for the quote. She was super-fast and very helpful in providing all the details. The quote provided to me was atleast 7K lesser than Costco prices for the same material. Template guy Pete was very knowledgeable and helped us in making decision. Install crew Chicho and Rafa was very professional. They have taken their time to install and made sure everything looks good and cleaned the place. Overall, I am very happy with Aviro Surfaces despite I was having doubt given the previous negative comments.

We had the most pleasant experience with Avrio Surface! Michael Bishop and his team did an outstanding job from start to finish. I initially considered another company with a lower price, but their service couldn’t compare to Avrio’s — they didn’t even return my calls. In contrast, communication with Bishop was seamless. He was quick to respond and answered all my questions with care and professionalism. We were on a tight schedule to move into our new home, and Bishop made it happen. The day after signing the contract, his team came out to take measurements, and they had the countertop installed within just 7 business days! We were so impressed with the precision of their work. I can’t say enough good things about Sergiu and his entire crew. I went through a very extensive remodel and experienced problems every step of the way. Avrio is the only part of my remodel that was pleasant. Sergiu went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot a couple design challenges, he was incredibly fair when we had a difficulty with a portion of our installation, and he met every deadline. His crews were friendly and a pleasure to have in our home. If our other subs were a fraction of this professional our remodel would have been a much more pleasant experience. I will use Avrio and Sergiu exclusively for my fabrication needs and would recommend them without hesitation.

We worked with Avrio, specifically Rachel, to complete our kitchen countertops that had been started with a big box store. We needed costumized backsplash that was, unfortunately not accommodated by the starting organization. Rachel carefully listened to our needs and worked with us to solve our specific issues. Then the installation team did an outstanding job installing the material perfectly for our tricky-angled kitchen walls. The project was completed in a very timely and professional manner which we greatly appreciate and we are very happy with the results. I have used Avrio for three projects now. The first was $15K and countertops and the work was clearly good enough to keep me coming back. I generated the CAD designs myself but you could hand them a drawing on a napkin and they'd do a good job. Their templating is quick, easy, and very accurate. Leadtime is pretty quick, especially if it's a big project and you are purchasing a whole slab. Arielle is great to work with. Cova was my installer each time and he and his crew do a fantastic job. They even make adjustments onsite per my requests to get things just right. Serg the owner has even come by to personally inspect the work. Very happy with the team. Thanks!!

Start to finish we had a 5 star + experience. We set up an appointment with Susanne the sales person. The knowledge and guidance we got regarding our kitchen granite project was awesome and the finish product is amazing. In a time of the DIY big box store trend going on, you forget what is was like dealing with specialists in the field. The misconception of getting a better deal and the ease of getting everything from one store, is something I fell for in the past. New kitchen counters is a major purchase for a homeowner and we expected it to be a stressful and difficult experience. Fortunately we selected Avrio. We stopped by the showroom in Redmond just to look at Quartz as a possibility and Yuri was so knowledgeable and helpful that we decided on the spot to work with him. It took less time than we expected to select our material, and set up the template appointment. The entire process worked out just as Yuri had told us, appointments on time, friendly and skilled people coming out for both the measuring and the installation. With our size there were two seams, and you have to look hard to find them. With the additional material we also got a bathroom vanity top/sink. We love our beautiful new counters, and recommend Avrio highly!

I had new counters installed in my kitchen and am so in love with them I had to write a review. It changed the ENTIRE look of my kitchen and it was not expensive! I was nervous because I wasn't sure what I wanted so it was nice that I was able to go to their showroom and see for myself the beautiful options. Avrio did a professional job with the special quartz pattern I picked out: "Kendal". They came out and measured my walls and outlets with a laser light to get accurate numbers. Then the crew came in and fine-tuned the edges of the quartz to fit perfectly on my cabinet tops and the wall...it looks beautiful! My friends, the contractors, everyone always asked where I got my countertop...it definitely makes a nice statement. I definitely recommend Avrio Surfaces, and I am especially happy with the care and consideration of Yuri Bekchiu, the Sales Consultant that I worked with. He was knowledgeable, always available, and provided follow-up when I needed a piece cut into my window sill and a bar-top table. You will see the pictures speak for themselves!

It's been great working with Avrio surfaces. We are returning customers with Avrio. We remodeled our kitchen and bathrooms with Avrio. We had shopped around for Calacutta gold quartz countertops and most stores and wear houses were back ordered for at least 2-3 months. We chose a natural Quartzite stone, which is extremely difficult to work with - they took tremendous care and precision and the end result was amazing. We had our kitchen and bathroom countertops replaced with quartz earlier this year. I primarily worked with Yuri, who was very helpful in finding samples that matched our existing cabinets and the look we were going for. We had NW Granite demo the existing tile counters the same day the new counters went in. We have only one seam in the kitchen and it is impossible to spot unless you know where it is. They were very accommodating, including working with a sink I provided and an unusual bathroom counter shape. When an issue came up months later, they wanted to make sure to keep us happy and it was definitely appreciated.

Superb experience from start to finish. We replaced countertops in kitchen and bath with quartz. Kitchen had some complex angles and features. Measurements were done carefully and the fit was perfect. Installation was done on time and with great attention to detail. They did everything they said, exceeding my expectations for this job. When I was worried about measurements, they re-measured everything to be sure. They were supportive and responsive. Great communication and support from Yuri. When I write a review, I try to accurately describe anything for customers to be wary of. Nothing here. I've done lots of work on several homes over the years. This is easily the best experience I've had in remodeling. Price was good. Worth every penny.

Today our new Quartz countertops were installed--- and they look fantastic! NW Granite and Marble did an incredible job. Our new Quartz countertops are beautiful. They were installed today and completely transformed our kitchen. The quality of workmanship is fantastic. We have a kitchen in the shape of a "U" and three seams had to be used to fit all the angles of our existing counters, and the craftmanship is amazing. I really can't see or find the seams -there are no uneven edges anywhere if you run your hand over the counters, and the heights are perfect. The installers worked meticulously fabricating/fitting the counters. They went over the seams several times -- resulting in an absolutely perfect fit!! We had a few concerns because of the shape of our kitchen and some uneven carpentry work when it was first built, so we made a special trip in to talk with Sergei the owner. But after speaking with the Sergei, and his Production Mgr. Shawn -- all our concerns were put to rest. These guys know what they are doing! Shawn even came out on installation day to make sure every thing went smoothly. The crew who installed the counter tops and bar were meticulous craftsman. The length of the back board is perfect where it joins the wall, and everything has an incredible finished look to it. There are no uneven edges anywhere. Simply beautiful! I noticed a couple of mixed reviews on this page... so, I wanted to take the time to share our very positive experience with "Yelp" readers..... Our experience was completely positive, and we are extremely satisfied! Turnaround time in about a week for a bathroom vanity. Prices are really good and I love the selection. Honestly, I could spend hours browsing their selection of remnants just coming up with new ideas. Anyway, after Fox Plumbing estimated over a grand to replace a broken sink, I ended up getting a brand new countertop and backsplash, sink included for about half the price. Looks beautiful.

His demeanor and knowledge of the stones were extremely helpful, I originally had my order booked at home depot for my kitchen and bathrooms, but when searching for remnants pieces for my fireplace I found these guys. I ended up cancelling my order and went with them. Always quick to respond and always a pleasure to deal with. Meeting up with Yuri just felt like it was social hour. Love these guys. Great prices, can get any marble from the major suppliers, make sure you speak to these guys when you're looking to redo anything with marble or granite.

We are very happy with our gorgeous quartz countertops for our kitchen, the dining room buffet, and the bookshelves in the living-room. Ashley was very helpful going over the various quartz choices in my price range, and we greatly appreciated all her help. We also bought a large undermount stainless steel kitchen sink from Northwest Granite and Marble and they installed it at the same time. We got such a wonderful price on it. would like to start by saying I have been in the Procurement profession for over 35 years and have dealt with thousands of vendors. My wife and I are remodeling our kitchen and solicited several bids for counter tops. NW Granite came in with a very competitive proposal, however, after reading YELP reviews I was extremely hesitant. I sent Sergiu and email and informed him we were going with a different contractor, primarily due to the reviews I read on YELP. Rather than reply to my email, he picked up the phone and called me. After speaking directly with Sergiu, we made the decision to give it a go. Bottom line is I could not be happier. Price competitive, extremely responsive in all manners of communication (phone, text, email). Quality of product and workmanship is top notch. I would recommend working with Sergiu without hesitation.

What a great experience! We are building a new house and have had to deal with more suppliers than I'd like to count. Let me just say, Northwest Granite is at the top of my list! They are honest, friendly, cost efficient and fast. I picked my granite one day, a couple of days later they were fabricating (and it's perfect I'll add) and a couple of days later it was installed by a couple of the friendliest and experienced installers. I'm also buying tile and having a great experience. They get my thumbs up for sure.

We used NW Granite & Marble to redo our entire large house. We could not be more impressed with the overall experience, the owner Sergiu, and his employees. He spent all the time we needed to find the products we wanted, and we knew we were using up more of his time than most. He came to our home to give ideas on our remodel - no charge. He was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. Their prices are better than anyone else. The measurement person, Slavik, is amazing and skilled. Thanks to him, all pieces fit like a glove when installed, with minor adjustments made on site as needed. The installation crew headed by Chad was fantastic and done so well. They all kept the planned appointments and were on time when they called that morning to advise of their exact arrival time. The project start-to-finish timeline was faster than originally promised. They even let us be there to plan the template layouts on the material so we had the patterns of stone where we wanted them. It was amazing that they even matched patterns from the backsplash to the counters so it all flows visually. When we naively almost made poor choices on materials, pattern placement or orientation they pointed out what would make the final result better rather than try to get us to take a lesser quality material or final result. We found it worked very well for us to manage our project: we personally picked out our kitchen granite slab at Daltile and had it marked to hold while we watched; we double checked square footage confirming their measurements were accurate; we were integral in the template planning process; and we elected to do our own demo and made sure our walls were square and plum so the backsplashes installed nicely against the walls. I think if you are your own best advocate and site manager most problems with contractors can be avoided. Most others we got bids from flaked out including the big box stores.

Our experience with NW Granite and Marble was nothing short of first rate. We had a couple of meetings with Joe Lynch to go over the project, then measurements were taken and we headed out to select our slabs. The final price was negotiated (and pricing was better than the other 3 companies we spoke with) and the installation scheduled. The crew came out as planned and about two-thirds of the way through the install, Sergiu came out to oversee the final work. He didn't like the way our gas range was installed/secured, so he had his crew correct the problem (certainly not their responsibility and he did it on his dime, not mine) before the final slab was installed. Even though they worked well into the evening, Sergiu's crew left our house in the same condition as they found it. The granite looks great and everyone who sees our kitchen comments on how it complements the kitchen and surrounding area.

I did two projects with Northwest Granite. The first project was when I remodeled my kitchen. Everything went great from the selection of the marble to the installation and the communication we had with the business. They where very accommodating to our schedule and they gave us a great price as well. I'm in the restaurant industry. When it was time to open a new location I decided to go with granite tables for my restaurant. I was really happy with our first project so I decided to hire Northwest Granite again. This time I dealt directly with the owner since this project was a little bigger and it required more detail. Since I was a returning costumer, Sergiu the owner gave me a really good price. The selection of the granite was amazing and it fits the ambience of the restaurant perfect. I was again really happy with Northwest Granite on the professionalism, quality and time limit of the project since I only had two weeks to open and they were able to accommodate my schedule once again. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a quality project done at a great price and I could safely say that they are one of the best here in Seattle since I have dealt with a few other companies in the past that I was not very impressed with. I consider myself a do-it-yourselfer when it comes to most projects, but there are some jobs that are just too big or too specialized to do it youself, such as granite counters. Bringing in a contractor to do work for me is always scary because you don't know if they will communicate with you during the process, if they will do the job right the first time (or if they will work hard to make it right the second time), or if they will respect your home and leave it in better condition than they found it, since that is after all the point of having a remodel done. I can say with enthusiasm that NW Granite was fantastic at communicating with me during every step of the process, especially during templating and install, but the ladies in the office were equally wonderful to deal with. They made sure that I had complete control over the process and was immediately aware of any issues that arose throughout so that we could discuss my options and decide on the best solution. I didn't realize that templating is probably the most important part of the process because your templater doesn't just measure the dimensions of your counters, they will be the one making important decisions about which pieces of granite go where so that the stone flows best across the surface. Their templater Yuri was just as dedicated as I was to making sure that the granite in my kitchen would flow perfectly, maybe even more so! My kitchen and powder room were just completed last night and they both look amazing! Total time to remove the old counters and install the new ones (plus clean up): 6 hours, WOW, super fast and efficient. But the best and most important thing is that they did the job perfectly. They did indeed leave my home better than they found it. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending NW Granite for anyone else's projects. The highest praise I can give them is that I would definitely work with them again in the future, and I plan on doing so for my next project.

I've waited to submit a review until we completed our second remodel using Nw Granite and Marble. Our first experience involved granite on a very large island and quartz on perimeter counters in a large kitchen remodel in Edmonds. In addition,they did two new counters for two bathrooms and tile for a shower tub area. The job was done perfectly. We had only two days without the use of our kitchen. Our bath remodel took much longer as we were coordinating with plumber, etc. Our second job was much smaller. A new quartz counter top in a kitchen in Seattle. We had a small glitch in the back splash but Sergiu came out to look at it and while there leveled our range himself and made a couple helpful suggestions. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. Hope your work goes as smoothly.

I was extremely pleased with the granite install we had with Northwest Granite and tile. I did lots of research and their prices were the most reasonable by far. Joe, the sales person was great to work with. He met us down at Pental Granite and guided us through the selection process. We changed our minds several times and not once did we feel like they were annoyed in the least bit! The turnaround time was unbelievable. From the time we selected our granite was just over a week to install. The install process took less than a day. The templaters and installers were polite, professional, skilled and neat. I checked many references and even visited the home of one reference to check out their work. You will not be disappointed with NW Granite.

UPDATE: Everything has been resolved to our satisfaction with Sergiu . He came out to talk with us on site multiple times to try to resolve our issue with our very large island. There was a manufacturing issue with our quartz for the island. Avrio had to keep sending slabs back to the manufacturer for waves and dull spots across the surface. One employee spent hours at the slab warehouse to go through tons of slabs to find ones that weren't defective. They really made sure everything was right this time and had a high quality island finished. Perfect seams that are invisible. Veining lines up perfectly going down the waterfall legs. Working directly with Sergiu was very helpful. I took a star off for the long process and the issues prior to the resolution.

I had a good beginning with Avrio and several of their employees rescued them from a one star review! I had a remanant made into counteer for my bathroom. As scheduled, plumber came and removed old plumbing. Several hours later (with no communication when they were coming) the counte guy came and found that the sinks I had ordered from them were not on the truck. He spent about 15 minutes and in that time I called Carly who was my sales contact there, and she said that the sinks had not arrived and apparently Justine who was the project manager didn't do her job and checked to see all was in order for the next day, or rescheduled my job when I spoke to her the day before to find out arrival time. Very sloppy. Carly was gracious and explained everything and it wasn't her fault but she understood customer service! What saved the day is one of their employees went and picked up the sinks, and brought them from south Seattle to Shoreline. The installer, Daniel, stayed during that time and installed the counters with sinks. By now it is about 5:30 or later. The plumber who had been told by myself and Carly that he didn't need to come because of the snafu came from home to install the sinks and wasn't done until 8:30 pm that night (Friday night at that!). Val, and Daniel were wonderful but really shouldn't have had to shoulder the brunt of this late work because somebody else didn't do her job. I may go to them again for kitchen counters but will be wary.... 11/3/20- Update- I was contacted by the owner and he was a good listener about the issue, and I felt he really heard me. I will update this review to a 4 star based on his effort as I appreciate owners that really care.

Great selection of stone. We found the perfect remnant for a vanity at a very reasonable cost. Unfortunately the remnant got sold twice and wasn't available when we were ready to fabricate and install. The owner, Sergiu, was very concerned with making us happy. He worked with us to find a replacement piece at a greater cost to him, and got it installed in the original time frame. Not a perfect interaction, but we are happy with the end results and had a positive experience. Nice to work with a company that takes care of their customers.

I would really like to give 5 stars, but I have to subtract 1 as I will explain. First off, Malea (office manager) is great. She will go out of her way to make sure things are right. We just needed a remnant piece of quartz to do a single sink vanity in our hall bath. They have a great selection of quartz and granite remnants to choose from. After finding the perfect piece, with a little help from Malea, we got our order underway. Turnaround was about a week, which is pretty good, especially this time of year. Now, here's where the star gets removed. When we picked up the vanity, it was loaded into my SUV and headed home. On a dry fit, I noticed a scratch on the top front edge. I immediately contacted them and was able to work directly with Sergiu (owner) on this. He told me, that was unacceptable and a new vanity would be made for us. Perfect response! Malea personally went into the remnant yard to retrieve a new piece. Unfortunately, they did not have any remnants of the same color. She took the time to search through and find as close to matching piece as possible and were able to turn a new vanity with a new sink included around in less than a week. Excellent service. All things considered, we are very satisfied with the experience, notwithstanding the QC error. Honest company who will do what it takes to make the customer leave happy. For short cuts and small pieces this team is great for supplying the do-it-yourself install granite/marble project. We had some challenges with a couple pieces and the team at Northwest Granite & Marble came through with flying colors in helping solve the problem. Go with them if you have a "make it happen" project. The material choices and pricing is also very good & competitive!!! Thanks guys!

As a part of a larger kitchen repair project, I needed to replace my kitchen counter top and back splash. I called around to several companies. In most cases, the pricing was very similar. Because Angela Green at Northwest Granite was polite and knowledgeable on the phone, I selected her company to do the work. Calista Munnell, the interior designer I selected, worked with Northwest Granite numerous times before on prior projects. She had only good things to say about them. After we agreed to work together, Angela sent out a guy to template the counter top so we could know exactly how big and the space of each cut. Over the next couple of weeks Calista, Angela and I made a number of trips to several slab providers (Pental, MSI, Daltile, etc.). Eventually we settled on a beautiful slab of granite called Kozmus. During this period Angela was always on top of everything... My calls and emails were promptly returned. My questions and concerns quickly resolved. Two weeks later the Northwest Granite installers showed up and installed the counter top. The installers were polite and efficient. As I understand it, Kosmus is a "grainy" granite. Sometimes small sections of it will fall out and the guys at the quarry will grind up some ruminants with a spot of glue and pack it into the cavities. This is a common industry practice. The folks at places like Northwest Granite either cut around the ugly parts or cut the slabs in such a way as to put the patches in much less noticeable locations (e.g., along the back or in a dark corner). After the pieces of granite were laid on top of my kitchen cabinets I saw an ugly patch area was in conspicuous and often used location. The slab could not be turned around because there was an off center cutout for the kitchen sink in the middle of the slab. Sigh. My only recourse was the discard the existing slab and buy a new one. As much as I disliked the patch, I didn't want to buy a new slab. If you're interested, here's my advice: After the template is made and the slab is picked out, meet with the cutters. Show them the parts of the slab you like to ensure those parts are in the visible locations and conversely show them the parts you don't like so they can either cut around them or put them in a place you can cover them with a kitchen appliance or two. A couple of days later two guys showed up to layup the back splash. They too were polite and efficient. Ah, the irony... I put a ton of time and effort into selecting the granite countertop. Now that it's installed I'm somewhat ambivalent about it. The interior designer selected the back splash. I had almost no involvement (which is the way I wanted it). Now that it's installed I really love the back splash. A good number of friends and family members have complemented the back splash. So it goes. Overall my experience with Northwest Granite was positive. Angela and the installers were terrific throughout the entire process. For future projects, I'll call them again. And next time I'll meet with the cutters before the saws are turned on.

Granite vanity top for powder room: Initially things got off to a bit of a rocky start with an appointment at their fabrication shop with no one to talk to. I was hesitant to move forward, but really liked their selection of remnants so took the plunge and hoped it would work out. Once we were all on the same page, I was so impressed by their desire to please me and make what turned out to be a beautiful top for my vanity. They were on time and kept me informed all the way.
