Ashcraft Granite & Marble

Huge selection, good service. They did a walk-in zero barrier showerand two countertops for us 3+ years ago that loot as good as the day installed. We are now looking for a replacement hearth and they have lots of nice remnants to choose from.

I was treated as disrespectful and dismissive as imaginable by the Sales Manager Scott and Ownership. I went there in January and have been told lies about scheduling over and over again by Scott and Andrew. My house has been demolished for 3 months after they came out and measured and I’m yet to receive a call or stone.

Unable to get a quote on granite! Must not need the business. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere.

I have been so pleased with Ashcraft. Lynda's customer service is exceptional. Ashcraft worked with me over a year long period helping me decide between granite and marble as well as showing me new selections when they came in. I feel like they understood what I wanted for my house and the granite really sets everything off. When it came time to cut the granite they had us in the shop to look everything over to make sure we were maximizing the look the veins in the granite. They went over and beyond for me. I highly recommend them based on customer service and price!

Awesome experience! Rosa was wonderful to work with. Super accommodating to my changes and wants. She even called the day our slabs were supposed to be fabricated to let us know she got another similar slab that morning she thought we may like better. Turns out we did, and we just LOVE our countertops!! We were on a tight schedule, and they were able to get us in quicker than expected. Highly recommend this long time family business!

Truly had a pleasant experience at Ashcraft! Scott was great as we selected our quartz counter tops. Rick who did the measurements was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product and helped with the design suggestions. Installers were very experienced and meticulous with installation. Summary Review: AVOID Ashcraft Tyler, TX to learn more read on. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I would hate to have someone else experience what I have experienced over the past 3 months. We went to Ashcraft Tyler, TX in Feb 2023 shopping for quartzite countertops for our kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. Rosa helped us select Taj Mahal quartzite countertop. She was great throughout the process. Getting the countertop installed was nothing short of a nightmare: 1. ordered the countertops the last week in Feb 2023. Within 10 days after ordering, Rick came to our house and measured our countertops. Took off whole day from work as no exact appointment time was given. 2. Countertops were delivered Tues 4/4/23 around 1:00 PM. It seemed late in the day given the installers were going to have to install an entire kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom by 5:00 PM but I thought surely they knew how long it would take and had planned accordingly. The crew did not have all of the necessary equipment to unload the stone countertop so they had to unload it by hand. The first half of the kitchen was installed. HOWEVER, the glass cook top was not cut out of the slab at the shop so the installers decided to cut it in place IN MY KITCHEN. Dirt and sand filled the air throughout my house. There was a layer of sand all over my house. The large L shaped part of the kitchen countertop was next. Once again the installers were lacking in enough magnet grips to hold the countertop so that it could be installed correctly so they had to do most of the lifting by hand. The slab broke. Also, the kitchen sink was not cut correctly at the shop. It was cut wrong by 4". The bathroom countertop did not have the faucet holes cut out correctly so the installers had to cut them out, you guessed it, IN MY BATHROOM, thereby leaving even more sand in my house. Furthermore, the bathroom countertop was a remnant that we thought had been cut incorrectly but come to find out after installation that it was a previously broken and repaired slab. Had I known that ahead of time I would not have purchased a remnant. At this point the installers are beyond frustrated and it is past 5:00 PM and they still have a 45 minute drive back to Tyler. The installers decide to leave. The laundry room did not get installed. I took off a day of work for this mess. 3. Wed 4/5/23 we were contacted by Rosa telling us our new countertop, to replace the broken one, would be delivered Fri 4/7/23. 4. By noon Fri 4/7/23 we still had not heard as to the expected delivery time that day so I called them. Rosa said there had been a problem with my replacement countertop and that it had broken while loading it on the truck. She did arrange to have an installer come out and install my laundry room counter that day so we would have it for Easter weekend. It too had not been cut at the shop. With my husband’s help, a bracing mechanism was created out of 2x4 boards and the countertop was cut (outside) and installed. At that time we put in an order for a backsplash for the laundry & bathroom. 5. Wed 4/12 Our 3rd kitchen countertop was installed seamlessly, HOWEVER, the installers forgot to bring the bathroom and laundry room backsplash. Missed a day of work this day too. 6. Tues 5/2/23 Ashcraft brought the WRONG backsplash for the laundry & bathroom. I had to take off 1/2 day for this problem. 7. Tues 5/16 the correct backsplash for both rooms are installed. The caulk in the bathroom looks terrible with missing caulk in places, it was a rush job. Rosa offered to schedule to have the installer come back to fix the caulk, we declined. 8. 5/26/23 Bill received for the remaining balance of my bill with no discount offered for the many problems I experienced. I asked Rosa if I could have a discount. I was offered a discount of $83 on a $9,433.54 invoice. I guess Ashcraft really doesn’t care about me giving them a good review to my friends, family, co-workers, and all of the Internet. 2/5 is generous for the problems I experienced.

My guest bathroom is gorgeous now! Rosa at Ashcraft made it so easy! She helped me pick it out and then took over, setting appointments to get it done very quickly and efficiently. The installation guys were wonderful too. I couldn't be happier!! Thank you so much! 😁
