Did a wonderful job on my kitchen granite installation and removal of raised bar. Answered all of my questions promptly and explained everything in detail. Crew was excellent and paid attention to detail. Ruben and his staff are great to work with. Matt is very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

From start to finish this company was a thrill to work with. Communication was great and they really listened to every little detail. The installation crew was friendly and new exactly what they were doing. My favorite part was one of the gentlemen just loved my Labrador retriever and my Labrador Henry really loved him. I would recommend this company to anyone. I'm so happy this morning and my beautiful new kitchen.

Ruben and his team are very friendly , knowledgable, and very professional. We had them install quartz in our kitchen this past summer and I meant to write a review earlier , but kept forgetting . My husband and I are very picky and anything we asked or had questions about they got back to us and made sure we were happy. We just had them install quartz in a bathroom and again same great service ! They have great customer service and always made sure to clarify any questions we have had . I would highly recommend them to anyone !

We are so in love with our new granite counters! We worked with both Matt and Ruben from the prefab division, both of whom were extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They helped us work within our budget and within a tight timeline. Ruben even came out to our house an additional time to measure and help explain how the install would look in an area where I was having trouble visualizing. The install team was punctual and very professional, our job was completed in a day. I would absolutely use this company again. The customer service was outstanding and the finished product is beautiful.

Above and Beyond. If I could give more then 5 Stars I would. First off this was a overly researched project and Adam in the prefab devision answered my questions via email and phone for 2 years while we started our remodel. Adam answered every silly question I had and never once pressured a sale on me. Once we were ready Ruben took over and came out to measure and within 5 days we had countertops. I forget the installers names but they did a top notch job and were very polite and completely cleaned up after they were done. I am glad we went with Artistic Surfaces, we shopped around and they were just always the most accommodating, also was a plus their install fees were a good $100 cheaper then everyone else in town. Highly recommend.

We bought the granite from Artistic for our bathroom and white quartz for our kitchen. Sales person, Ruben, was very helpful. Their prices are very reasonable. The installation team did a great job. And they're very clean. I love when a team cleans up after themselves. It shows they have pride in their company. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

These guys did an awesome job. I called for a quote and they had a guy out the next day to assess the job (a Master bath vanity install with 2 undermount sinks). He then scheduled his guys for the next week. I got a call about 30 minutes before they arrived to advise me they were on their way. They showed up on time and with all the materials. Install was finished in a few hours and I was very pleased. I have had several problems with contractors in the past, but these guys were on top of everything. I will use them again and again!

Do not us Artistic surfaces in Bakersfield CA. They were great until they installed my counter tops. They broke the back splash near the sink and didn't tell me about. When I went in and spoke with Matt he said they would not fix it because I bought the material from another company. Matt suggested the co I bought the material from, Artistic Surfaces picked up the material did the fab work and installed the counter tops. Matt said he talked to the installer and they confessed they broke the splash during the install and they would fix the broken piece. So I made an appointment between 2 and 4pm on a Tuesday at 5:30 I called the store and left a message at almost 8:00 I got a call from the installers saying they would have to fix it some other day. I haven't heard from them since. I would need to more time off work to hope they would actually show up.

Terrible service. They damaged the granite, it broke in two placed. The installers dropped on of the new slabs on my new flooring. This was the same slab that broke in two separate places. I have made every attempt possible to allow them to come repair this broken granite. What a mistake I made by using this company. It is very unprofessional and they did terrible at best work. Do not use this company. Buyer beware! You might save 100.00, but the crappy service and craftsmanship is what you get. Shop elsewhere

The worst customer service ever. I went in to their shop and explained that I purchased a quartzite slab for my island and media center and would also need two prefab quartz slabs for the remaining counters. I was given a bid. When My cabinets were installed they came and took templates. They called me and put me on the schedule and I asked for confirmation that the bid would not change now that they had the templates. After being put on hold they came back and confirmed the bid would not change. Four days before they were supposed to do the installation Adam called me and with a very accusatory tone told me that they just found out my slab was quartzite and not granite. I told him I never said granite, I hate granite, I think granite is ugly and I never would have told anyone it was granite. He said it's a harder stone but also more fragile (huh?) so the fee was increasing by $1,800! Obviously shocked I informed him there was no way that changing the stone would make that much of a difference. He then admitted that their size on the bid was wrong and they had the wrong square footage on the bid. The entire time his tone was so rude and he was trying to make me feel like somehow it was my fault that his guys screwed up repeatedly on my job. Needless to say, I feel like they are either really incompetent or they tried the old bait and switch, thinking that they could lowball the bid and then increase it right before the job started. The sad thing is, if they had called and simply apologized for what was obviously their mistake I probably would have used them, but because of the way Adam spoke to me, I canceled the job and am using someone else.

Very unprofessional company. I called to get an estimate for Quartz countertops. They scheduled an appointment and came right out and measured. Following the measurement I received a quote for the job which was new counter tops for my kitchen and three bathrooms. We scheduled a date, signed the quote, faxed it to the office and followed up with a phone call to give my credit card for the deposit. I called to follow up to make sure they didn't need anything else from me and I was told I wasn't even on the schedule. So the original date had to be pushed back a month. Following that, I received a phone call telling me that they couldn't get the quartz I wanted that it was no longer made. I went out and picked another style and scheduled a new date. I asked if they needed information on my faucets and sinks and they told me no they could do it when they installed. When we got closer to the install date I called again to confirm that they didn't need anything else from me and didn't need my sink measurements. I was again told it was an easy job and they could do it on the install date. The day before the install date the fabricator called me to find out where my sinks were because they couldn't make a template without the sinks. Unbelieveable. When I telelphoned the office the owner told me she would never say that because they always have to have the sinks. Being that I am 75+ miles away I had to take pictures and they had to find my sinks for the template. They showed up the next morning for installation. They completed the demo and installed the counters. The installers did a really nice job. Upon completion the installer said I could put my stuff back. I looked at the counters and the faucets were not installed. I told the installer they are supposed to install the faucets and that my estimate and payment included plumbing. He told me his plumber went on vacation. He called the office and his manager told him they would try to get someone but it wouldn't be today. Unacceptable. I have no place to even wash my hands. After several phone calls I was told the manager was on his way with a plumber. I waited 2 hours and called the office. They gave me another number and told me to call Luis because he is handling my job. I called Luis left a message. No response. Then I received an email with the final invoice and request to remit payment. The final invoice has the fee for plumbing removed. Am I to assume they just took it off and I am on my own now. No one has showed, and no one will return my calls. Very poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend this company.

When I ordered stone counter tops from this company I explained that my kitchen contractor was coming from the SF Bay Area and I would need the counter tops templated and installed as soon as the cabinets were set so the contractor could finish the job without having to make a 400 mile return trip and costing me another fortune. I was assured, continually, that there would be absolutely no problem and template to install could be accomplished in approximately 3 business days. Even as the counter tops were back ordered I was assured time and time again that they would be delivered in PLENTY of time and that this would not affect my installation time frame. Despite having paid a deposit of $1500+ dollars and scheduling a tentative install date well in advance (on THEIR insistence so they could "hold this time for me") , on the day I contacted Artistic Surfaces to confirm my install date I was told that my job had been pushed back and it would be at least three weeks before my counter tops could be installed. I reminded these folks that they had previously scheduled my job for the last week of August (the very week I needed them) BECAUSE my contractor was coming from out of the area. They refused to budge and said it was too bad but my counter tops could not be installed for a least another three weeks. No amount of reminding them of their previous promises had any effect. The failure of Artistic Surfaces to install my counter tops when promised, despite having arranged this job at least two months in advance, cost me an additional $3,000 in contractor fees. It is obvious to me that once this company had my deposit they figured they "had me" and they continued to make other commitments to other jobs despite their promises to me. I would never, under any circumstances, do business with Artistic Surfaces again.
