I had a great experience with Art Stone Granite! I purchased Cambria kitchen countertops and a quartz top for a bath vanity. The sales team was very responsive and helpful. They came out to do a very detailed measurement and then I got an install date of approximately a week later. The install folks were very nice. They were professional, knowledgeable and able to adjust to all of the “surprises” that a 70 year old home can have! Thank you!!!!

I ❤️ my new countertops, Art Stone showed up and did a fabulous job with the installation. I was greatly concerned about my bar, because we discovered that we needed these floating brackets for extra support of the bar. If you're getting new counters and you have a bar, I suggest you find out every detail about that. Anyway, Nathalia was very helpful and it didn't take long for them to install my brand new countertops.

Art Stone, Izida, did a great job coordinating the installation of my counter tops last month. I appreciate the extra precaution they took in getting it right, since I wanted to save my current back splash. She requested a second template to be done after the tear out was done to make sure the counter tops would fit the existing back splash. The tear out team was excellent and did not damage the black splash. They were very neat and cleaned up great. The installation team was great very neat cleaned up great. My only complaint is the time it took between tear out and installation, which left me without full excess to my kitchen for about 3 week. I do understand my situation was a bit of unusual in that I wanted to save my exiting backsplash. I would highly recommend Art Stone and would use them again.

ArtStone is the best! Unlike some other fabricators, they only charge you for the part of the slab you use and also allow you to use the remnant pieces if you need for other areas of your house. They gave us photo renderings of the layouts in advance, communicated well about installation and were able to take us from design to fabrication to install within 10 days. Highly recommend! Ask for Nathalia—she’s the best.

Nathalia helped us find our dream slab for a dream price. She helped us use every single inch of the two slabs we purchased and provided guidance along the way. We did not want to have any waste in our kitchen project and she helped us pull it off. Art stone’s price was only a few hundred more than the cheapest bid we got and our contractor told us this was the nicest countertop install he’s seen in his 30 years in business. They were right on time and were in and out in under an hour. I was super impressed. My wife designed this kitchen and Art Stone helped her bring this design to life.

I met with Clio Almeida and had a piece of quartzite cut for our tulip table and it’s beautiful! It only took about 10 days for them to complete and deliver the top. Artstone did a fantastic job with the installation. It turned out much better than expected! I would like to thank Clio for helping me pick out the piece and guide me through the process. What a great experience!

For many years, Artstone has been my go to place to get our countertops done. I don't even bother consulting a designer! MALINDA at Artstone has been so great at picking out a great match to our renovated/built out kitchens that there is little to no work on our end laboring over decisions. I highly recommend using them and they are great at precise cuts on backsplashes and waterfall edges as well! Artisan Homescapes Builder/Renovation Specialist

Overall was a good experience with Art Stone, Eduardo was our sales rep. We replaced our kitchen and 3 bathrooms, including a full quartz backsplash in our kitchen and we did 3 different stones. They had very competitive pricing and a good selection of stone for what we were looking for. Eduardo was very communicative and available for all my questions. Was able to work with him to select a stone without ever having to go into the showroom and he was very accommodating to quickly send me pictures of a lot of samples. He coordinated the scheduling of the project very well and his follow up was great. They were on time for appts and have quick turnaround for the install. Only issue was we did have 2 instances of issues with the quote. Labor charge was missing from a bathroom and sq footage for kitchen was calculated wrong in their system. So did result in a higher cost than the original quote. Eduardo did work to make some adjustments and concessions to help with the cost which I really appreciated, but was still frustrating. Would definitely recommend Art Stone and Eduardo, just double check all the costs and measurements to ensure there are no surprises for you.

Melinda and her team were a dream to work with. We picked our slab of quartz and we were on a time sensitive job prior to having our baby arrive. She personally ensured that her team had the job done for us by the time we came home from delivering our son. They were kind, timely, and made us feel so special. We loved working with Art Stone and will continue our loyalty with them for any renovations we have in the future, highly recommend- we love our quartz kitchen counters and marble bathroom vanity. Thank you Melinda and team. We are so grateful!

DO NOT GO TO THEM - Breach of Contract - Countless lies from management and the owner. 10/14/2020 contract signed | 11/3/21 install | Per my contract and multiple discussions with Jennifer (sales manager), TJ (installer and part owner),Wellington (owner), Mari (sales agent) and support staff at Art Stone Granite & Marble; I was being sold quartz that was under warranty. My contract states it is under warranty too. I reached out to all parties listed above for several months to fix the seam and to provide me the warranty information so I could get the warranty set up through MSI. I kept getting a run around on why people were not responding to me or not available to call me. After 2 months of trying to track this information down, someone finally gave me the MSI information. The MSI fabricator of the material could not warranty my product and denied to warranty the product (which I have in writing). I reached out to the MSI rep, Edward and was told that I would need new countertops installed at Art Stone's expense and he of course would assist in making sure everything was taken care of. I immediately reached out to Art Stone to advise them of the situation and spoke with Jennifer. She said that this has never happened before and would have to get with the owner. After weeks and weeks of leaving countless messages for the owner I was told (and in writing) that I would get my countertops warrantied by Art Stone and would receive paperwork with warranty information under Art Stone's name. We are now 8 weeks out from that date and I have yet to receive anything. 13 weeks out from when I first reached out about getting this resolved. My seam in the kitchen was also jacked up. The seam has separated and there is a gap, allowing food and crumbs to get into the seam. When I reached out to the owner about this (after the initial repair) - he brushed it off. I asked Wellington to come and look at the seam himself, so he can see what it looks like and fix the issue. He said "Normal" "Read your contract" - Well I did read my contract Mr. Wellington - and you are in breach of it. The contract clearly states that I was being sold Warrantied countertops and it also says that you warranty countertops, specifically seams, for 2 years. I have already reached out to BBB and will be pursuing further action if necessary. They breached the contract twice, Multiple empty promises (lied to), Several times I was told someone would show up to make repair (and I had to arrange with my work to be home) and they never showed up! Multiple installation errors, hours upon hours of my time to resolve this issue all while being ignored by all parties mentioned within. A full timeline of events can be provided upon request. I will be happy to speak with anyone regarding my awful experience. 😡

I had to call and text several times before I ever got a return call. My estimate was incorrect and I had to text again to get the estimate corrected. Today the installers came. They were supposed to arrive between 2-5pm. I had to call the office 3 times to try and find out if they were still coming. They arrived at 6:30 pm. They pulled sheet rock off the walls. There are gaps between the quartzite and the wall. I pointed out these areas but they barely spoke English so I couldn’t understand them. I texted my contact person but of course she didn’t respond. Now I have to pay some one to come fix their awful mess!!

A sales brochure brought us to the store. We had no other point of reference. So, I was more skeptical than I would have been if I had known someone who had bought from them. Malinda worked with us from selection to installation of a beautiful, quartzite, kitchen counter. She was very assessable, knowledgeable, and helpful through the whole process. Anyone I dealt with at Art Stone was equally helpful from questions on the phone to the installers. I shopped 5-6 other large retailers and some smaller and found comparable stones, but Art Stone's business acumens and price of the stones brought me back to them. Very pleased with our purchase.

I just had my quartz installed by Art Stone Granite and Marble. I highly recommend this business to anyone remodeling. I worked with Malinda the entire time. My renovation was long and Malinda was quite patient, polite, & helpful while waiting for my cabinets etc. to be completed. Kevin came to measure (also very polite and helpful) and then when their guys came to install they showed up on time, were there 1.5 hours and the job was complete! I would tell anyone to go here, they are the best!

Recently, I needed to replace four cultured marble bathroom sinks in my 25 year old house. I called three local granite suppliers to get pricing. I gave Jennifer at Art Stone Granite my current sink measurements and she was able to give me a quote in a matter of minutes. They had the best price and and committed an install in less than a week. They scheduled someone to come to my house, do the actual measurements, then a few days later the granite, sinks and backsplashes were installed. One of the pieces of granite had a blemish on it and after the installer left my wife noticed it. I then called Jennifer, sent her a picture of the granite with the blemish. The following day Jennifer called me to schedule a replacement granite top, at no charge. I can't say enough about the quality of the product, efficiency of the entire process, and most of all their overriding concern for me as a customer. I highly recommend them.

I recently completed my 3rd project with Art Stone. All three times I've worked with Jennifer, who has been a dream! I first did my home kitchen, and then a rental house kitchen, and recently another rental kitchen. I simply brought in a floor tile and a cabinet door, and within minutes Jennifer narrowed down my choices to 2 beautiful options. I literally only spent about 15 minutes of my time in the showroom. They even pull out the slab and let you position the templates where you want them before they do the cutouts. The guys that came to measure and then to install arrived at the scheduled time, and were super friendly. They did an excellent job installing, and cleaned up after themselves. The prices at Art Stone are very reasonable, and even for very high quality granite, is less expensive than other places I shopped. I'm looking forward to doing my bathroom in the near future, and have recommended Art Stone to several friends. To top it all off, Jennifer even threw in a piece of the granite for a table top that I'm having built, at no charge! I couldn't be happier with all three of my experiences with Art Stone.

From our initial phone call to arrange an estimate through the installation of our granite counter tops, Art Stone provided outstanding service. Every company contact was professional and personable. The installation was completed exactly in the time frame promised, and the installers were extremely careful and courteous. All construction debris was cleaned up before they left. The counter tops look even better than I had anticipated, and the price was outstanding. Anyone wanting to install granite or other stone in their home should definitely contact Art Stone.

Art Stone installed our granite on Friday 4/8/11. There are not words enough to thank their team for making what was a nightmare process to get my counters turn out so well. My only regret is that I didn't do more research and go with them in the first place! I would definitely recommend Art Stone. For background, we were originally scheduled for an install with a different company on3/17. After doing the demo of our sinks & counters, we had been notified at 6pm on 3/16 that they needed to reschedule for 3/29. We figured we could just use the bathtub for water until then... However, Monday, March 28th the day before install, we learned that our previous granite company had declared bankruptcy the week before without notifying any customers and taking our deposit and our sinks. We were left in the lurch to deal with bankruptcy attorneys and our bank (lesson learned - only use credit cards for deposits). However, we still needed counters! I did a search and read reviews on different granite companies before contacting Art Stone. By 9pm on Monday night I had a rough estimate from Jennifer and a template appointment scheduled for that Friday, with a tentative install date for the Friday after - which simply amazed me because the other company led me to believe that it takes at the very minimum 3-4 weeks to get the process complete. Jennifer & Sandrya were more than helpful throughout the week. And I'm afraid that I was one of "those customers" in my overzealousness to follow up & stay on top of things due to the previous experience with the other company. They remained professional and friendly, and more than reassured me about the decision to use Art Stone. Tiago came on time for the template, was professional, and answered all my questions. When I received my final quote, the price was actually LESS than the previous company AND it included both the kitchen and the bathroom sink (which I had previously purchased on my own, but didn't have access to as the previous company has yet to return them). The warranty and both their & my responsibilities were outlined clearly. My husband was at home for the install. They were scheduled to come between 12 & 2. They arrived at 12:10 ready to go. The installers did a wonderful job and left no mess in the house. The granite is just gorgeous! I can't stop admiring my kitchen now! I just looks amazing...

Jennifer was not disorganized, she did not return phone calls, often rushed me out of the show room and off the phone, did not listen to my concerns. Which led to my project being off schedule. The Install went bad, imi was told, that they would have to cut my cabinet to fit my sink. However, when the owner arrived to look at the project, the sink fit, just fine. I felt manipulated, through out the process. my counters are now installed but are 1/4 from the wall. And now I'm being told, my tile will cover it! Installers were friendly but didn't appear skilled!

Honestly, this is the first review I have ever written on a company. I would like to be very fair in all aspects of the service, but I do feel that we were mistreated. There was poor communication through out the actual installation process. When the company installed the granite they broke our sink & instead of consulting with I or my husband installed another sink at a lower grade (without asking). I LOVED our previous sink and was obviously upset by this. I reached out to our representative and they said that there was probably nothing they could do. My husband went up to the site and spoke with management on this. After speaking with management there was still no resolution. They said they would not replace the sink or give us credit for the broken sink as they are not liable for damages. I do know that that is stated in their contract, but it is also in their contract that their priority is providing a positive customer experience. Now I am left with a sink I do not like & if we would like to replace it we will have to go out and buy a sink because the one I loved (& more expensive) is now broken. This ultimately left me with a terrible customer experience. I would recommend anyone using this service to be cautious while reading the contract. I hate to only list cons so I will say we had a positive experience at the beginning with our sales rep and the granite itself is quality at a good price. But I could not in good conscience recommend this business to friends or family.

Do not use! Very unprofessional and rude. Made an appointment via their online scheduling system and received a vague email from Malinda to call Jennifer and a phone number with zero details. Called and asked for Jennifer and immediately she seemed put off and annoyed. Wanted to know why I was calling her, and I explained I have no idea since Malinda failed to say anything in her email. Only then did it click with her and then she explained their online system was "glitching" and accidently scheduled me with the wrong sales person. I said that was fine and if we could still come in at the same appt time. She said she was going to be off that day but Clio would be in and could assist us. I specifically asked if we would have the same appt time and she said yes. Plus she said she would give him the details for our job the contractor provided. Fast forward 1 day to our scheduled appt and we arrive on time. Couldn't find anybody in the entry area and found someone in a back office who said he would go find Clio. We waited 35 minutes and Clio comes wondering in with other clients and is very short with us. Asks what we need and I tell him Jennifer said we could come in today at 11 to meet with him. He proceeds to tell us he has no idea what I'm talking about and says he never agreed to an 11am appointment for Jennifer. He said that he has his own clients and we can wait there and he'll fit us in when he can. I told him I have the name of the product if he can just point us in the right direction. He gets snippy and says they are out of stock and doesn't even offer comparable alternative. Clearly, he has no intention of being helpful. So either Jennifer flat lied to me on the phone or Clio has the customer service skills of a snail. Either way we left Art Stone dissatisfied and took our business elsewhere. I understand our current job may not be high $ but I can guarantee the other projects we have lined up will never come your way either. Plus I will gladly share my experience so nobody else has to waste a trip to your showroom. I would avoid Art Stone is you have customer service expectations. You may come off too demanding. Especially if their definition is to be respected, keep appointment times, and provide even a sliver of customer service then I'm 100% demanding.

I am a 74 year old retired nurse living on social security, and planned and saved for six years to have my kitchen countertops and backsplash done. My daughter had a wonderful experience 16 years ago with Artstone and I foolishly did not read current reviews, my bad. I felt Natalia and I had a good rapport, and after getting estimates from Home Depot and Lowe's, I decided to go with Artstone because they had the best quartz, even though it was a bit more expensive. All went well with demo and wall patching on the first day. I was very concerned however that the wall was so uneven, old construction, and expressed concerns to contractor engaged privately by Natalia, and also called Natalia with my concerns. Even though my quote included new wall board, this was not done, was patched instead. Countertops, stainless steel sink installed second day with only a few wall scrapes, no problem. Third day, tile was laid over uneven wall with expected results, very uneven. I have to give Natalia credit, she did come to look at work and agreed that tiles needed to be corrected. She called her contractor Vinny who said he could pop the uneven tiles out and correct the problem. I was not sure this would work as the wall was bowed and expressed my concerns. Two days later, I inspected the wall more closely and noticed something behind the microwave. Vinny, who removed tile from underneath microwave, but did not replace tile, stuffed cardboard boxes behind microwave to support, then grouted over cardboard, am not lying about this or anything else! I pulled the cardboard out and again asked Natalia to call me. She did not call me this time, so I got in my car and drove to Artstone. She could see that I was upset, crying and finally offered to have another contractor take a look and make recommendation, I agreed, he came over, said to take out tiles on one wall, correct imperfections and retile. To Natalia's credit, she had Vinny to do just that with excellent result. Because of trouble of redo, especially after my concerns the first time around, I deducted the extra cost of materials I had to pay out of my pocket from money owed to Vinny. When I called Natalia to thank her for helping me, she was really angry that I deducted from money owed to Vinny, saying that he had worked so hard for two whole days, basically for free, to meet my expectations. There is even more to tell, things more upsetting, but will leave it at that. Good luck with whoever you use for your project. I am still upset about mine.

First off, need to state this was $9000 quartz project. They arrived with a cracked corner slab for the waterfall counter. The top slab was 1/2" too big for the island. They refused to trim it and we ended up with finger size gaps all around our island. After I requested either remediation for the gaps before I would pay my balance in full, the manger threatened they would take my prepaid slab back. It cost us $800 for another contractor to fix the horrible instill. Don't trust them, better options to work with in Atlanta that take pride in craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

If I could give this business zero stars I would. Pics have been included with my review. Click on my name or the business pics to view them for those in disbelief. The nightmare with this company all began when I was referred to this company by a friend. I was in the midst of remodeling a home to sell. The owner of this business is named Wellington. He showed up 45 minutes late to my home to do the measurements. He did not do a template nor did he use any other modern technology to measure the area where my granite countertop would sit. Nope instead this man showed up and used an old fashioned tape measure. Shortly thereafter, I went down to his office and paid via check a deposit. The check was immediately cashed. On the day of the installation two foreign installers showed up at my house. They went into my kitchen and literally tore the laminate countertop off the wall...leaving several large holes on the wall. I watched as they cut a hole into another wall to try to get the granite to fit because the measurements for the granite were WRONG. Then they added the bar granite which also did not NOT fit. They filled the corners of it with chalk which can be viewed in the attached photos. They added the backsplashes up against the walls which were torn from their demo of the laminate. In my photos you can see the granite sitting against what is missing/damaged drywall. All of this horrified me. I asked them WTF were they doing only to be told, "Oh don't worry. You can have someone fix the drywall." Then I watched as they mixed the granite sealer on the granite and burned the granite! When I asked, "What is that?" referring to the burn spot, they told me it is a SUNBURN on the granite. After they left I called the friend who referred me to this company and made her aware that I was not happy. We both agreed it was a good idea to put a STOP PAY on the final check given to the installers. I called my bank, and paid $30 to stop payment on that check. I was told by a woman named Melinda or Melissa that Wellington, the owner of this business would call me. That never happened. In fact he never called me period. I ended up going to the office of this business and DEMANDING they correct the issues with my house and granite. They immediately got Wellington on the phone. He told me he would send the installers back to remove the backsplashes, and the bar so that I can have my walls fixed and so that the bar granite can be resized. On this call I forgot to mention the "sunburn" so I tried to call him back repeatedly. He never once returned any of my phone calls even when I called the office and asked them to have him call me. The installers showed up LATE because they went to home depot next door and hit someone in the parking lot. When they showed up they removed the backsplashes and the bar granite. They also did what Wellington didn't bother to do when he took measurements in my house. They did a template of the bar granite. Once again, I asked them about the so-called "Sunburn." They told me they will take a picture of it and address it with the people in the office. Again, I never heard a thing from anyone. Never heard a thing from Wellington. Never heard a thing from Melissa/Malinda because she told my friend that this was between Wellington and Me. The installers returned a few days later and put the resized bar granite up and the backsplashes back. Again, I asked about the "Sunburn" and again I was told they would pass it along. Never heard a thing from no one. Two months went by and I never heard a thing from anyone. Again for those in doubt just click the photos. You will see my damaged drywall, the drywall repair guy fixing my drywall, and the granite that didn't fit and was heavily chalked. There are others who have shared my experiences.

The templater and the installers were on time and as scheduled. I did have to stay on top of the sales contact to make sure the schedules were adhered. My issue has to do with the fact that they did significant damage to the drywall in the condo. The installer didn't point it out but I found it. He tried to say the piece was too large and should have been seamed. It was an 8 foot straight run. I have never had any such issues in previous installations. They did the templating and the walls did not move. What it came down to was that it was about an 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch to long and instead of addressing it before installation they simply slammed it in destroying the wall on one side. I have texts with the sales team admitting the damage, but then no response on resolution. This is not a trustworthy team of people.

Dont' waste your good money. I should have checked the reviews on yelp before using this company. As an engineer I had already measured and drew up in cad my whole kitchen. I estimated 49sf of countertop and I have an estimate from Homedepot that confirms it. They sent a guy out to measure and he came up with 55sf. Huh? Ok maybe they added a 10% contingency, happens with my estimates at work all the time. Estimate had 55sf @ $30sf for removal of existing counter tops. Wait! I only have 49sf or 50sf if we're rounding up NOT 55sf. Like talking to a brick wall, no says Mari the measurement was 55sf so that extra 5sf @ $30 is $150. Robbed of $150. So 55sf requires two slabs she says. One slab usually covers 48sf. Ok fine two slabs. That's 96 sf total right, 96-55 equals 41sf (left over). Enough to do a 27sf master bath sink, right? Right, says Mari. We agree to the installation against our better judgement. Bought a nice black quartz sink ourselves that the measurement guy took with him so that they could cut the slab to match. Day of installation not only did they show up with the wrong sink (a cheap stainless steel one) the slab was cut wrong. Huh? What? What kind of mess is this? You take MY sink, don't use it to cut the slab, send out the wrong sink AND my quartz countertops were cut to match what? NOW they have to take the slab back to recut it and now I have to take an EXTRA day off from work so that you can come back and install the countertops that you messed up. When I ask Mari for an 'inconvenience discount' she says they can't because they had to pay the installer to come back out. THEN Mari proceeded to tell me there is not enough slab left over to do my bathroom sink! Bunch of hoodlums and crooks! Don't waste your time running away from this farce of a business!

This company isn't worth bothering with. "100% Customer Satisfaction", right. Since they installed my countertop they refuse to send anyone out to do some finishing work, telling me that they "can't send a crew of two guys who have entire kitchens to install." That leaves me with an unfinished countertop and a broken promise from Art Stone. Stay away from these people, they are not to be trusted.

My regret is breaking my own guideline to read reviews of a contractor before hiring. This was a difficult lesson to learn. What I can do is share our experience so others can learn and hopefully prevent this same experience. Install Summary February-2017 Our selection of granite was a positive experience with Melinda. Finalizing the contract did take a few days due to difficulty in reaching Melinda that week. Our impression was the office was quite busy that week. However, our install process was NOT acceptable. We were informed by Melinda that our install time was between 11 am- 1 pm on Friday, February 17 and that the crew would call us 30 minutes before arrival. By approximately 1:15 pm, we had not heard from Art Stone regarding our installation and called the office. We were told that Melinda would call us back. Melinda called us at 1:50 pm informing us that the crew was on their way to our home. By 3:30 pm, we had not heard from the crew, and we called Art Stone again for an update. We were informed that we would be called back right away. At 4:10 pm, we still had not heard from anyone regarding installation, called the office, and were told that someone would call us. At 4:20, Kevin informed us that the crew stopped at another site and they could be at our house at 6 pm. This was an unacceptable option for our family needs. At this time, we discussed a Saturday morning installation and Kevin promised that management would call us Monday morning to discuss the miscommunication and compensation for our inconvenience. We took almost a full vacation day from work to prep the bathrooms for installation in order to honor Art Stone's time to expedite the job, be home for the installation, and for my husband to reassemble the plumbing. On Saturday morning, my husband felt very rushed to look over the countertops as he was told by the crew that they had another job to get to. We noticed the following cosmetic issues with install that day (we shared these to Art Stone via phone and email): 1. The left corner in the side backsplash is placed too far forward. Please see the attached photo showing the right side. It is not symmetrical. 2. There are 2 chips in the left corner near the wall. 3. The clearance of the back of the faucets is very tight due to the thickness of the backsplash hindering operation of the pull for the drain stopper. We asked about this in the office and on site, and we were told that it would not be an issue. We had to file the mounting hardware in the master bath so that the stoppers would be functional. We are uncertain if the fixtures will work in our hall bathroom as my husband is waiting on plumbing parts to work on the plumbing in that bathroom. 4. The backsplash in the master has a gap on the left side (I didn't get the best picture illustrating this). The wall is not straight in that bathroom and we discussed this during measuring. We were told that it would not be an issue. Our expectations were that Art Stone resolved the cosmetic issues in the granite installed in master bathroom and discuss compensation for the no-show on Friday and poor fit and operation of the faucets. The outcome of this experience was Art Stone came back AFTER our numerous attempts to contact management via email and phone over a 3 week period. They did fix the the side backsplash and fill in the chips. They never fixed the other issues. Wellington (the manager) spoke with my husband over the phone while the crew was there to fix the issues, and he promised that he would be in touch with us that afternoon regarding what they could do to compensate us for the no show and the issue with the clearance of the faucets. Wellington never called us. I followed up a week later, and he told me that he offered a solution to my husband and my husband declined (This was not true. My husband and I talked and Wellington never said that to my husband). Wellington also said they have a very low profit margin and could not do anything in regards to compensation for the no show. My advice is to STAY AWAY from Art Stone. They are not true to their word. We also never signed the contract to approve the project for final payment, and they charged our card before they fixed the issues.

Liars, Thieves and Fools When we decided to update the stone on our kitchen island, we came upon Art Stone Granite and Marble. It seemed painless enough; pick out a slab and Art Stone would cut it and install it. If only things ended up painless. After the initial installation, the granite cracked. Wellington and Art Stone agreed to replace the slab. This is where the nightmare truly began. Upon installation of the second slab, Art Stone broke the brand new sink. Then they installed the new slab incorrectly and the installer sealed his hand prints into the stone, quite the artistic touch. Oh, and what do you know, the slab broke again. At this point Art Stone stopped responding to calls and messages and refused to do anything about their, unprofessional install, or stand behind their product. They claimed that the slab was defective, that they weren't responsible, and that it was the granite company's fault. Interestingly, the granite manufacturer stood behind their product. They said that Art Stone was cutting the granite incorrectly and that the install and incorrect cutting was what caused the cracking. Art Stone refused to accept this reasoning and then stopped responding. This company is out to make money and that is it. They don't stand behind their work because they know their workmanship sucks. Wellington the owner is half-assed shady businessman. The biggest regret I have is not checking Yelp before hiring this POS company. They are complete frauds and do not deserve to be in business. Please do yourself a favor and take my advice. Never ever use Art Stone Granite and Marble for ANYTHING. --

Horrible workmanship, worst service! My job was full kitchen reno w/island. They didn't physically template my island? So it goes downhill from here.. At install only 2 staff show up to carry a full marble slab. They argue with me after questioning this. AND they admit they have a broken grip tool, so long story short, of course they BUST my marble on my driveway!?? They insist they can fix this no problem (yea right) eventually leading to refabrication of 118 linear inches of stone.in.my.house. Get the picture? My island overhangs are still not correct. The edges all measure different from a standard overhang. Nightmare! How they are in business, I don't know. Give your business to someone else who is accountable for their work and actually cares about their reputation.

First things first. Treat this company like any other construction contractor. DO NOT GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD. Pay an amount no more than half of the project up front. Then when you are satisfied finish paying them off. We used Art Stone for the our kitchen counter tops. At the end of the project we had to spend hours and hours cleaning up the mess they left us, our counter top was cut incorrectly and had to be "patched" and our kitchen cabinets had been mutilated. We called to complain about the quality of service and felt that they owed us money. We never received a return call, they just ran the credit card for the amount owed to them. I was in the construction business, residential and commercial, for many years. This company is at the bottom of my list. Long story short, shop around, and use someone else.

Bait and Switch. Do not use this company. When I selected my granite we laid out the template on the piece and it fit. I signed up for the piece and we scheduled a date that it would be cut based on the cabinet installation. ONE DAY before the installation Art Stone called and told me that my template would not fit and I needed to either have a seam in my counter top, or buy a new piece for more money. BAIT AND SWITCH!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! BECKY MILLER 770-801-8712.

Horrible Experience. I recently had a horrible experience with Artstone. Everything was fine until I ordered and paid for my countertop. After that, everything went downhill. First, the sink was cut backwards- the template was NOT followed. Second, the sink hole was not centered, so the countertop is half inch longer on one side. Finally, I asked for hard corners and instead got radius (rounded) corners. I should have checked the better business bureau first. Artstone, as of the date of this posting (8/23/2013) has an F rating. The manager/owner, Wellington refused to give me a credit for all of Artstone's mistakes. All I asked for was a return of the fabrication & installation charges. He simply said everything is fine and did not care. Horrible service.

Art Stone buyer beware. My wife and I had disappointing similar experience as the Art Stone customer in the preceding review. Based on a number of glowing reviews, I contacted Art Stone to ask about installation of kitchen counter tops. After coming by our home to measure the kitchen for the counter tops, they picked up the granite we had on hand at our home for them to cut and install. We got a phone call saying that, despite the measurements they made, the cut would not be appropriate for our kitchen. We requested that our granite be returned. Our sales rep, Malinda, then informed us by email that there would be a delivery charge to return the granite they took from us for our job that they could not complete. When I emailed and called about the amount of the charge, I have yet to hear from her about what the "return charge". We have also asked Malinda -- email and repeated voice mail -- about continuing the job -- no return call or email to follow up. They still hold our granite -- likely selling it as "remnants".

I remodeled my kitchen and purchased granite from Art Stone Granite in December 2012. The process of selection and ordering went smoothly, however the rest of the process was unfortunate. The day of installation I notified Art Stone that they created a large gaping hole in my wall by the backsplash. Art Stone did not address the issue in a timely manner and never fixed the hole. After waiting for over a month, I had another contractor repair the wall. In addition to the wall damage, Art Stone also left exposed wires in a backsplash area where electrical outlets were located. I notified them of the exposed wires as well. Art Stone stated that it was not their responsibility to repair it. So I hired an licensed electrician to repair it and he explained to me that Art Stone's poor workmanship and ill-sized cuts caused me to have an issue that is not standard. I called the owner, Wellington with this information and he has simply refused to return my phone call. CAUTION: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Art Stone Granite & Marble. Mistakes happen and can be fixed, however it is a bad business practice to ignore your customers and refuse to address their issues.

Art Stone has wonderful reviews and beautiful show room but their service leaves a lot to be desired. When we decided to purchase granite from them for our bathroom, we knew we wanted a remnant piece. Remnants are large pieces of granite that have been cut into already. So, they came at a discounted price vs. cutting into a new piece of granite. Jenifer, the salesperson we dealt with was super nice. Taking her time to discuss options and helping us pick out a piece that would match our tile floor. We told her it would be a couple months before we were ready to take the piece and if we needed to put a down payment on it, we were prepared to do so. She said not to worry and put a sticky note on it. Yes, a sticky note. When we were ready for the granite installation, we had weeks worth of unreturned phone calls from Jenifer. Come to find out, they sold the granite out from under us. Needless to say we were extremely frustrated, but it didn't help that she wouldn't return our phone calls for such a long time. So, we started the process over again, assured that this would not happen. We did find a granite that we liked even more than the previous selection. Once your choose your granite, you have to come in to Art Stone and decide on your template. This is so they will know where you want the cuts to be made. We spent about 2 hours deciding exactly where the cuts should be made to ensure the prettiest parts were left intact. On the day of the installation, we quickly noticed they didn't use our template at all, cutting right through some of the most colorful spots on the granite. What's the point of doing a template if they aren't going to follow it? When we called to complain, our phone calls were...surprise, surprise....unreturned. They did, however, promptly charge the remainder of their fee to our credit card though.
