Ann Arbor Stone and Tile did a great job installing the basement bar top. Carolyn was awesome to work with and I particularly liked her not pushing and trying to upsell anything. They worked with my design then the measurement and installation went smooth and quick. Would use again anytime - highly recommend!

Great place. Great consulting, Great products, Great installation. All perfect. We bought and had installed new quartz kitchen counters and sink to replace 25 year old Formica tops. Could not be more pleased with this company. Congrats!

We loved working with Ann Arbor Stone and Tile! We went with them for our flooring, backsplash, and countertops for a kitchen remodel and couldn’t have had a better experience from start to finish. Carolyn and Emma at the store were super helpful in guiding us and very fun and easy to work with. There was no pressure from a sales perspective and they were more than happy to give us plenty of time to explore ideas with them. We are so happy with the quality of materials and how everything came together. They also got everything ordered and installed incredibly quickly!
The person who came out to measure the countertops and the installers were very professional, thorough, and personable. They were very respectful of our home and talked us through each step of their process. My contractor isn’t easily pleased and he was VERY impressed with them. Lastly, the tile delivery man was excellent! Our driveway isn’t the easiest to work with and he handled it like a pro, with a smile the entire time.
We have so much appreciation for every member of the team! Working with them has been the easiest part of our remodel. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be visiting them again when it’s time to tackle the bathroom remodel. Thank you for a great experience!

After a horrible experience with Home Depot, Ann Arbor Stone & Tile saved the day. They were amazingly helpful, fast and had an excellent selection of stone at great prices. Purchase to install only took 2 weeks. I couldn’t be happier with our countertops!

Everyone at the showroom was amazing, very helpful and attentive. We really appreciated the time, expertise and patience as we worked through all of the counter options. Nick did a fantastic job for the measure, showed up on time, communicated questions and recommendations, and gave suggestions. He even noticed our sink had a crack in the corner so we could order a replacement by the installation date.
The long-anticipated install fell short. The team did half-effort, and even though I was available throughout the entire install period, they failed to communicate basic questions or observations. Further, they declined having questions or needing clarification on multiple check-ins. They rushed the installation, and were careless with some aspects. This is quite frustrating given the extent of this investment.
Specific issues we experienced include:
- The install team arrived an hour and half late of the two hour appointment window. Because of this, I missed an appointment. There was no phone call or other notification of the late arrival.
- One team member was on the phone while he introduced himself, while I was showing him the space, and intermittently throughout the install and took multiple smoke breaks.
-Another team member went through our drawers looking for a straw (invasion of privacy!?)
- The install team did not ask or clarify about drain orientation on the sink
- The sink basin was installed too close to the disposal outlet; it cannot be utilized in its current location, and relocating this box will prove difficult due to its proximity to the installed sink. This issue should have been identified by the install team before proceeding with the sink installation. We now must take extra action to remediate this issue, as we now cannot plug the disposal in or even get a screwdriver to the outlet to move this.
- The faucet hole was drilled too close to the lip of the undermount sink. As such, mounting hardware for the faucet cannot be installed as designed. We must now take additional action to troubleshoot the faucet install. Again, this seems like a significant oversight for a professional doing his due diligence.
- Due to these errors and carelessness, we were without a sink and dishwasher while waiting for a contractor to come in an fix these errors.
As noted above, this was a significant expense for us; it felt like the showroom understood that, however the installer's lack of professionalism and quality work was both frustrating and a significant inconvenience.
Bottom line - use the showroom for ideas or to pick your stone then find someone else to install!

We loved working with Ann Arbor Stone! From showroom to install, everyone was very personable, receptive, knowledgeable, and most importantly, not pushy! Our kitchen turned out exactly as we had envisioned.
We would recommend AA stone to anyone, and we’ll definitely be working with them again in the future!

I worked through their main store, Detroit Stone, for my counters. For tiles though, I worked out of this location because it was closer to my house. I was so happy, since I was back & forth with samples all the time. Their selection is huge. I had so many good options to pick from. They were so patient with me, Lol. Can’t wait to do future projects with you guys!
