If you are looking for "close enough", then this is the place for you. Our experience started good with the kitchen and bath design and cabinet installation. Although our cabinet installation was not put on the schedule and was pushed back a week, we were pleased with the installation of the cabinets in the end. Now to the quartz countertops... Installed on July 25th, we noted several issues including two slices cut into our kitchen wall, permanent marks on the quartz from the cut wall, two areas where the counter was not cut in line with the wall and gaps filled in with caulking, the reveal cut for the bath sink was not centered to the sink, and interior cabinet scratched up from installing the bath sink. We contacted the company immediately regarding our issues and after several discussions with various people that got us nowhere, we started discussions with the company's sales manager. We offered to have him come to our house to see the issues, which he declined. On August 2nd, we sent the manager documentation of all our dealings with the company and photos of the issues. We advised him that we were going on vacation for a week and expected resolution by then. We contacted him upon return and no resolution was made. We again offered him to come to the house and he did come on the 18th. He agreed the walls should not have been sliced. We also mentioned how unresponsive he had been to our issues and he stated that he's been very busy. The company's contract states that, "If you have purchased a measure and installation from us, we will make sure that the items above do not become a problem. Our highly trained staff has the experience necessary to make these crucial measurements and we will accept sole responsibility for mistakes if you have purchase these services". We also noted that the contract counter design included two seams and they changed the design in production to one seam. The manager stated that our salesperson was supposed to contact us about this change, but never did. The manager offered to remove the kitchen counter so WE could repair the sliced wall and would correct the bathroom sink reveal, but we were at an impasse with the remaining issues. As such, on August 26th, we told the company we wanted money refunded to repair the sliced walls and price paid for installation along with them correcting the bath sink reveal and applying skins to cover the scratched cabinet. We stated that "we consider this request to be a compromise based on your company's refusal to do a complete reinstall of a new piece of quartz, we continue to be extremely dissatisfied with the product and service your company has provided." The company agreed to our request. They came to remove the bath counter on September 6th and reinstall on the 9th. We determined in the dry fit that the reveal was not cut back enough to center the sink so we sent the counter back with the installers. The manager then advised that the cut was "close enough" and "within industry standards" and that we would be charged for the installers to return to install the bath counter. We do not accept this and again we are at an impasse with the company as we will not accept the counter with an incorrect sink reveal. We have already compromised enough with this company. The issues are endless and it's now been nearly three months of frustration as we have been expected to pay good money, yet accept "close enough".

Today I walked in to the store to ask about flooring, and was treated with incredible disrespect. First, the associate who greeted me was hardly bothered to get up, or even point me in the right direction. She also took over three minutes to even find & put on a face mask. When she was finally trying to show me some flooring options she said, "well this might be an issue because we have a $300 minimum" (I am young, but am helping my family with a serious remodeling project). Overall I did not feel welcome, safe, or respected. I will not be returning to this business.

Randy's team from the Top Shop were miracle workers! We had some issues with sink installation and Randy personally came out to help ensure that everything was being done properly. The slab we ordered was textured and the seam was tricky and Randy worked his magic to make it as invisible as possible. He and his team were very professional and responsive and really gave us that personal attention that made us know we made the right choice. Liz and Alicia were also extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They always got back to us promptly and ensured that we were taken care of. Thanks so much to you all!! We couldn't be happier!

Extremely poor work ethic! I made an appointment with Kristy to design my kitchen for me. When she was 20 minutes late, I decided to call- turns out she never left to make our appointment. The man on the phone said that she would call me back- and I have yet to hear anything. If this is how they do business, I’m surprised they’re still open! I should have read the reviews

After talking to Home Depot and Lowes about cabinets and counter tops, I wasn't sure that I wanted to start my remodel. I talked with the people at American and they were very helpful and knew their products. They could actually answer questions without calling a supervisor. They made sure that I had a good plan for the kitchen and pointed out a couple problem spots that I overlooked. The order went smoothly and they followed up to make sure things were right. I am very glad I went to American instead of fighting the big box stores.

This company installed our quartz countertops. One area has two cracks that continue to grow and the company will not repair or replace the cracks since it's been longer than 12 months. The crack was not initially noticed since it is white quartz. It also took months just to get in touch with someone. I initially spoke to someone and they said they would repair it for free, then they went MIA and after leaving multiple messages I had to hunt someone down to get back to me. In the end they wanted to charge me $500 to repair the crack instead replacing product for free like I was initially informed.

We had our kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and our flooring replaced by American Cabinet & Flooring in 2011. I can not say enough great things about this company! They offer a very large selection for even the pickiest of clients, they are flexible in design, and they have a team of experts who have been working in Colorado for many years. Randy, in particular, was great to work with and gave us a lot of helpful insight in our renovations. We are complimented on our kitchen every time someone comes to our home. The best part about working with all the lovely folks American Cabinet & Flooring is that they were able to do SO much with our budget. We had quotes from competitors that were promising only half the work that American Cabinet & Flooring we able to accomplish! If you are considering a remodel or renovation project please call American Cabinet & Flooring.

Rob helped us with new cabinets, pulls, countertops, and butcher block when we remodeled our kitchen last year. He was responsive, fastidious, and helped us manage cost. We had a tight deadline to get the kitchen finished before our baby arrived. Rob made sure to contact us regularly and coordinated the delivery dates of each item so we could finish on time. Rob caught a number of flaws in our initial layout like conflicts between refrigerator door swings and adjacent cabinets, and tolerances at existing doors. Really appreciated his exacting review of the design. Rob also helped us price many variations of cabinets and countertop materials so we could hit our budget without feeling like we sacrificed the design. He offered ideas like thinner countertop to afford a more expensive material or alternate cabinet boxes that reduced costly drawer count. Great experience start to finish, would highly recommend!

Be cautious of the 5 star google reviews. I know that two of them are from current employees. I’ve been trying to obtain glass for my cabinet doors that were missing from my delivery. This has been a three month ongoing ordeal dating back to before Christmas. I’ve texted and called my sales rep Clayton a total of four times leaving messages. I even spoke to him once and he promised to look into it and get back to me. I now realize that he likely answered my call by accident, because that was two months ago. I’ve since left two messages and he is not returning my calls. I called the main number and spoke with someone who put me to through to the voicemail of another sales rep named Chuck. Still no one is returning my calls. Do you see the trend? All I need is the glass for two cabinet doors. It all seems pretty straightforward.

I love American Cabinet and Flooring for so many reasons. The main reason is the excellent customer service that I received. Karen is outstanding. She is knowledgable, honest and went above and beyond for us. I am a first time home owner and had no idea about countertops. Thanks to Karen, I found the most amazing and affordable quartz for my kitchen countertops. Karen even offered helpful advice for coordinating the backsplash for my kitchen. I highly recommend this company for your countertops, or other kitchen design needs. They have a vast selection and styles that will meet your unique needs. I tell anyone I can about this company (and Karen) because she was so incredibly helpful and professional.

We had an outstanding experience with American Cabinet & Flooring. We worked with Karen Woodward and she the best. She was familiar with the products that she sold as well as other lines of cabinets that were similar. It was clear from the very start that Karen viewed our interests as a priority. She took the time to educate us, made suggestions that made sense, and was respectful of our budget as well as our timeline. She was patient and made certain that we got the very best product within our budget. Our project was in Summit County and Karen went out of her way to accommodate us. Karen was very responsive to our requests and always responded in a timely manner. It would appear from the other reviews (which I just read) that the negative reviews have centered on the installers. We used our own installers so I can't comment regarding the installation. Based on our terrific experience, I wouldn't hesitate to return, as long as Karen is available.

I worked with a girl at their Thorton location. She was very helpful even though I didn't bring in the right measurements she was able to get the correct measurements for the three cabinet doors I needed replaced in my moms kitchen. The doors came in on time as she said and when I went to pick them up the girl at their main office was just as helpful and friendly. The cabinet doors are a perfect match.

I saw a one star review on here and wanted to correct it because I think it's unfair. Two major home improvement stores messed up a laminate order that set me 3 weeks behind on a project. Frustrated, I went to The Top Shop (aka American Cabinets). Not only did they have what I need - a vintage looking Wilsonart laminate sheet - they got it to me the next day by 10am, cut to my specs. I was thrilled. I will never mess with the big box stores again, as these guys got it right, were lighting fast, and only 10-15% more than the big box stores. Well worth the assurance and customer service. I have since ordered two 5x12 sheets of additional laminate from them and it is flawless. I will say that they operate a little old school. I did try to call them with an order two months prior and nobody returned my call (to be fair, 0 out of 3 stores returned my calls). Like many contractor specialy shops, YOU NEED TO GO IN PERSON. And you should too ... they have a huge showroom with tons of current samples. The big box stores were allowing me to custom order laminates that were no longer being made as of 2010. WTF? Can you believe that? Don't waste your time, Top Shop rules. I won't go anywhere else for my countertop laminate.

I am the V.P for a general contractor in Denver, Colorado and this is my experience with the last and final job I do with the Top Shop (aka American Cabinets and Flooring) I used the Top Shop for my cabinet needs on a project that started May of 2020, it was a $15k kitchen remodel that was a nightmare from the start. They had a "sales guy" come out measure the kitchen and tell me he had everything he needed. I then talked to "sales manager" when I was ready to order and he informed me that they fired that "sales guy" because they didn't have the paperwork for my job among other jobs and would need to come out and measure again. I then meet another "sales guy" out there and he again measured the kitchen and said he had everything he needed. I trusted him and placed the order with the Top Shop. They were only supplying the cabinets as they don't have installers that are good enough to install per "sales manager". I received all the cabinets in late June and when the delivery guy called me and said he put them in the garage I was a little taken back as I had guys working at the house and there was no such delivery. When I called him back he said "oh I put them in this open garage but it was the wrong house" So they just threw them back in the truck and brought them to the correct address. Now comes install day. I went to the garage where the cabinets were and began to lay them out throughout the house where they go. I got through all the ones I could and found out there were over 15 doors that were ordered or made wrong and I had over 15 doors I couldn't use, complete cabinets that were never ordered that were delivered and a complete mess. They sent that same "sales guy" out who did the first order to get the correct measurements of what was wrong and to re-order. Well the delivery came again and I had to drive an hour to go pick them up at their shop. I picked up the doors and made my way to the jobsite. Well of the 15+ doors 6 were correct and un-damaged. This would become a reoccurring theme over the next 8-9 months I would receive a door here or there, some would have cracks, one would be good all the while I or one of my guys would have to make the hour long trek to their office then to the jobsite (you know we all work for free and gas is free so this wasn't a financial burden at all) Well today April 5th 2021 I finally received my last door albeit it still has paint cracks where the door stiles come together that I will have to pay a company to fix because they say this is "normal" I have asked them to cover 8 of the trips we have had to make, we made probably 12-13 and a $500 customer inconvenience charge so I can give my customer a gift card for the year long inconvenience this has caused and they simply refused. I talked to the "owner" and the "sales manager" on several occasions and they say that the manufacturer won't do anything. That's funny because I bought and paid the Top Shop for the product not the manufacture. Do yourself a favor and don't go anywhere near this place. They will take your money and blame everything on the manufacture. Seek out other companies and stay away from this one. The "owner and sales manager" have zero customer service skills and don't care about the customer. I normally don't write bad reviews but when asking for a little something for the year long troubles and to be told it's not their responsibility made me feel compelled to make sure others don't go through what I did.

My countertops I paid in full for back in July were cut to the wrong size, entire huge counter was installed completely crooked, off 1 inch all around, backsplash never even showed up on the truck, multiple other issues. The company had to send 2 people out to confirm their mistakes, and it was like pulling teeth to get them to agree on replacing the counter. The other counter also was low quality, huge streaks could not even be cleaned off with acetone. They would not give me new material that was in stock and told me I had to wait another 3 weeks. Beware, they take your money, provide poor quality control so you have to project manage the entire ordeal, then try to put the blame back on the customer. I am a fair person and was treated unfairly - having to "fight" and "prove" these mistakes while in the meantime I don't have a working kitchen since no appliances fit, my remodel is at a standstill since plumbers cannot hook up anything. If you value your time and money you will go elsewhere. I found another company that took care of the entire project from start to finish professionally in 1 week.

On the week of November 13, 2017, I requested an estimate for two base roll tray cabinet. I was told I would received an email with the information. I waited a week, and I called asking for the information. I was told I would receive the estimate that week. It has been almost four weeks and I have not received any phone call or email. I wil try a different company.

Warning not to use. We ordered cabinets in early August and after a lot of back and forth between my contractor and the store I am left 4 months later with a hole in my brand new hardwood floors and poorly installed cabinets. See the photos below of the hole in the hardwood floors and the crooked pull out trash can cabinet. Hole in the floor came from the installers refusing to protect the flooring during installation. My contractor and husband were both present during the situation and the installers were asked to protect the floor. I won't go into other issues I had with their service and installation because they made an effort to correct. At this point I just want the hole in my floor repaired and the trash can pull out to be fixed.

We ordered cabinets a year ago from this company. We are doing our own reno and so the cabinets sat for a year until a week ago when we started installing them. We checked the cabinets right after we got them to look for any damaged pieces but didn't think to check and make sure every piece was the correct color. We just assumed that part was ordered correctly. Well turns out one piece was NOT ordered in the correct color and because it's a year later and this cabinet company is no longer a dealer of our specific cabinets they are refusing to help. The cabinet maker rep proved that this mistake was American Caninets and Flooring and not the cabinet makers, they were ordered wrong. We are noobs and should have double checked the color in addition to any damage but didn't. Our fault I guess for assuming that something was done right. So warning to anyone thinking about ordering anything from American Cabinet and Flooring. Treat them like you treat any fast food joint these days staffed by a bunch of people who don't really care; double and triple check your order and what you receive. Don't assume it was done right, that's too much to ask these days.

Here's what happened on our last project with this company: - All cabinets - as measured by TopShop - didn't fit properly - One cabinet was not delivered intact - The countertop template didn't happen in line with cabinet readiness (we hurried to get ready for them to template, then sat for several days waiting for them to finally come out to the site) - The countertops were *not* installed 7-10 days after template, as promised - My Topshop representative ordered the wrong size bathroom sink. Then, the Countertop guys showed up to do their work and then left the job, even though they could have installed the kitchen tops. This resulted in so many - American Cabinet Co (TopShop) responsibility - delays that we ended up missing two months of rent on our apartment unit. Add to that, they really didn't seem to care that all this happened. No apologies, just left me to deal with their mis-management and resulting delays. The owner never stepped in, leaving it to the seemingly toothless manager to work with us. Mishaps occur in construction; it's how a company handles them that shows their corporate character.

I used American Cabinets for my first kitchen in Colorado 11 years ago, so went back to get design help after I purchased a new home. MISTAKE. No customer service. Designer measured my space incorrectly and didn't reorder the replacement cabinet for 5 days after she learned of the mistake. Sales Manager was useless. I had counter tops in my kitchen before I had finished cabinets! So many places to shop for kitchen designs and cabinets don't waste your time here.

Worked with Blair who was great. That will be the only good thing I have to say about this company. After waiting 3 weeks to get the cabinets (no problem there, that's normal) the contractor they sent to install the cabinets cut two gaping holes in the base because he didn't measure properly. Then tried to finish nail the piece back in! (Caleb Richards or Richardson). The other cuts look like he used a chainsaw. He didn't adjust any of the doors and was basically in a rush. After much frustration and complaints they order parts to fix it. So we wait another month without a sink, counters, kitchen etc...and they send a different crew out to fix it. Keep in mind I have to take days off work for this. The crew who fixed the mistake were great and equally baffled as to why the other guy cut the cabinets all to hell. After taking days off work for installs, and repairs we request that the backsplash installer come in the afternoon to avoid more time off. Confirmed this THREE times. I get a call at 8 in the morning notifying me he's on his way. Wife has to take off work and rush to meet the guy. I would recommend this company if you like being frustrated, angry, have lots of time and money to spare.

Do yourself a favor and find another company to conduct your business. I am a residential contractor and was interested in ordering cabinets for a project, with more projects in the pipeline. Getting any feedback from this company was impossible. When I did receive pricing, it was as generic as possible. Cabinets, Tax, Total. After nearly 2 weeks of trying to get an itemized breakdown, it was sent to me through a pathetic email, and as it turns out, he didn't have all of the cabinets I needed in the quote. Clearly they are too busy to appreciate the business or the value in customer satisfaction. Your time is valuable. Spend it in a more productive way and spend your money elsewhere.

We had to have a defective carpet replaced and Top Shop was the vendor. After 5 months of calls/emails for warranty info and ordering and install date, the carpet was finally installed - and the crew caused damage to our house. We are still 2 months after the install/damage and Top Shop is refusing to fix. I've had to obtain an attorney to get this resolve (still on-going). Horrible customer service and absolutely no care about quality or integrity!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!! (I had to give them 1 star to be able to post this review.)

I used the top shop for quartz counter tops in our kitchen remodel. I thought, at first, they would be great. I provided a draft and plans for what we wanted asking for a radius on the island near the refrigerator. What I got was a perfect square. I got excuses, reasons for it and guarantees. I still have at rectangular island and they won't return my calls. They haven't given a solution, putting the onus on me to give a solution. I have called multiple times and now am being ignored. Save the time and look around, the time spent will be better.

I work for a contractor in the Denver area. The Top Shop is listed as one of two Armstrong Cabinet dealers. I needed a quote for 3 cabinet boxes. I spent two weeks wasting time calling and emailing with The Top Shop. In that time frame I had multiple calls not returned, conflicting information from employees (it can be supplied/ it can't) and promises that someone was calling me back, including the owner. I did finally receive a phone call with a price over the phone and a promise of "the quote is on its way". However, even though I emphasized to everyone I spoke to how important it is for us to place the order immediately, I never received the quote and never placed an order with them. They still have not gotten back to me. After screwing around with The Top Shop for two weeks, we are now doing business with their local competitor who had the quote to me in two hours and came in over $500 less with direct ship to the job site. We do a lot of construction projects in this area, so although this was a small order, the potential was much larger. I will never recommend the Top Shop as their follow through is completely unprofessional.
