Last year, Advanced Construction and Design remodeled our guest bathroom. We were so impressed with their designing, scheduling, and workmanship, we hired them this year to up-date our kitchen. Again, we are thrilled with the results. It was a pleasure to work with Libby and John. We certainly appreciated their quick phone calls or texts back to us when we had a question or concern. Their team of craftsmen did beautiful work, were friendly, and very respectful of our home. They are a company with heart and take care to keep customers comfortable, informed, and happy. We highly recommend Advanced Construction and Design. --Cheryl M.

John and Libby are an absolute joy to work with! They turned our gross, old main bathroom into a gorgeous space that look forward to spending time in. The custom cabinets are premium quality as are all the other materials they work with, so know my bathroom will last and add value to our house for a long time. was definitely well worth the cost. Thank you Libby, John, and the whole team!

I have been meaning to do this review for a very long time. Before 2019 is over I wanted to share my experience and how thankful I am. I had water damage a year ago in December that came from my upstairs master bathroom that went into my kitchen. After calling my insurance and making a claim I looked online and found advanced construction and design read the reviews and gave them a call. They came immediately and assessed my damage, dealt with my insurance and took the necessary steps which can be a lengthy process. Long story short they did such an amazing job with my kitchen I couldn't be more satisfied with the project. They gave me a calendar/timeline with who was coming what was being done. John and his crew were very professional at all times. His designer works closely with you to have the best result. They were even able to get me more money for my repairs. I can't express enough my gratitude. As a homeowner you want things done right, the quality of the cabinetry, counters and work is of high scale. I will continue to refer to them and use them for future projects because after a beautiful kitchen I need new floor. :))

We couldn’t be happier with John and Libby and the entire crew at Advanced Construction. Our 1970’s kitchen was in major need of an update. After years of thinking about it we knew we wanted to maintain the existing footprint in every way because it suited our needs. We had done A LOT of cooking in that kitchen and knew well how we used it. The idea was to change out EVERYTHING within that footprint with new and more functional cabinetry, surfaces, flooring, lighting, and appliances—on a strict budget. I knew from the first phone call with Libby that we would work well together. She’s a designer and I’m an artist who likes COLOR and Libby was so receptive. Their initial quote was clear and detailed enough that we could toss things out here and there that were beyond our budget without harm to the overall plan. When we made our first visit to the design studio, Libby and I were like gleeful kids, playing with materials I’d brought in and drawing from her collection of samples and colors. Demolition started right on time and the detailed schedule kept us abreast of what was happening when. The crew consists of delightful folks John and Libby have used for years, and who work together seamlessly. Communication was a breeze during every step of the project. Our new kitchen is beautiful. Advanced Construction gets an A+ from us.

John and his team did a great job with our small upstairs bath. It was a tight space, but the vanity and cupboard they added were custom and made a huge difference in the functionality of the space. The designer we worked with understood our vision and gave us many options. The fixtures and finishes they suggested were within our price-range making the whole experience pleasant rather than stressful. The team finished the project on time and followed the timeline. Overall, we recommend Advanced Construction and Design.

Update: Six months later still no touch up paint as promised and still no final adjustment on cabinet doors as promised. Update 2: 4 months. No paint Update 1: 2 months after the owners wife promised us some touch up paint, no touch up paint. Unfortunately, this is typical behavior for her to tell a story that isn't true. From schedule issues to paint issues we never quite felt like a valued customer. Additionally, owners wife told me more than once that the cabinet guy would come back and adjust all my doors straight and show me how to adjust them. That never happened. Additionally, the owners wife promised us some leftover paint so we could do touch up. Again, no joy. Now she is telling stories about how great they did. They just aren't trustworthy to do anything they tell me they will do. I caution everyone to be careful here. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

Updated to say that the company’s response is not entirely accurate. There was little discussion on finances during the walk through of our kitchen. I had been quoted a price higher than my initial budget over the phone and if I had been solid that it was out of our price range I obviously would not have had the company come out at all. The fairly major changes they wanted to make to the kitchen were not presented as options for keeping within our budget. Nothing was said one way or the other and I assumed knocking out walls etc would just raise the budget. When they left our house nothing was said at all about a “final review of our project to see if they could work it out.” We were literally told that we would receive a quote in three weeks. That was the only discussion of finances. I hesitated to post this update but it’s unfair of the company to represent the situation falsely. We did not use this company - this review is based solely on having them come out to give us a quote. Kind and personable on the phone and in person. But from the outset you could tell they wanted to make drastic expensive changes to my kitchen. I stopped that line of thinking as we don’t need more cabinets, just convenient cabinets (I have four blind corner cabinets). They make it sound like this company can customize your cabinets to what you want. Well, almost everything I really wanted and cared about they ‘couldn’t do.’ For instance, an 18 inch pantry cupboard with pull outs. They said it had to be 24 inches. (We just bought an 18 inch one at Home Depot. Obviously it can be done.) And the other things I wanted, the lady would give her own ideas/opinions and kind of just disregard mine. When they left they said it would probably be three weeks before we got a quote. But here’s the kicker - this visit was in March and here it is the end of July. We never received our quote. Maybe they could tell by the end of the visit that we were unlikely to use them. Maybe they thought the project was too small to be with their time. Whatever the reason we’ve had zero communication from this company and I find that incredibly unprofessional.
