Ron Rowe was immediately communicative and expert in his knowledge of the different specialty tiles I was ordering. In addition, he articulated clearly between the manufacturer and myself. The delivery was timely and the order was complete. I never met Ron Rowe, which is unfortunate. We did business long distance through email and phone. I look forward to meeting Ron and thanking him in person for his excellent service and knowledge.

We really liked the selection at Carmel Stone, but we are very disappointed that we got the wrong information when we purchased our counter top material. For Laminum, we were told that the company would cover the cost of chips for a lifetime, so we would not have to pay to have them repaired. We were also told that this treated porcelain would not chip as much as porcelain does. As out turns out, this was false information and the Laminum company does NOT cover the cost of chip repair. We have had the counters for about a year and the counter has chipped 3 times. Carmel Stone covered the first two (they said they would cover one time since they told us we would have a lifetime guarantee) and we just had the third chip fixed ourselves and the bill will be around $600 (that we have to pay). So going forward every chip we get costs a lot of money! So make sure you have accurate information when you choose your counter top materials!

This store has an amazing selection of slabs and tile that are phenomenal. Every staff member, from the receptionists to the warehouse gentlemen are very polite and efficient. And this time I met Robbie which made it extra special after seeing him on TV for so long. Yesenia is an excellent representative and extremely pleasant to work with. The stone slabs are like magic, and the people here are right there with them. After going to quite a few other stone outlets, this one was by far the most friendly, and family oriented.

We had a phenomenal experience with Carmel Stone. They were able to locate the last slab in the entire country of a discontinued stone and get it for us for our kitchen! We also purchased a beautiful mosaic back splash for our bathroom that arrived quickly. Everything in perfect condition. Yesenia was wonderful to work with. We will continue to use Carmel Stone for all our stone needs!

Excellent service. Yesenia Torres was very helpful and patient with me, as I had no clue what I wanted when I first embarked on my bathroom remodel. She helped me chose the right marble for the floor and shower area, and we walked back and forth many times in their big warehouse till we found the right slab for the cabinet. We chose Carmel Stone Imports because of the quality and selection for our bathroom floor remodel (two bathrooms). Carmel Stone has an amazing selection of colors and styles; we chose a particular gray that we could not find anywhere. What makes us a Carmel Stone Imports repeat customer is the after sale service. We needed some extra tile (our fault) and Kent Risting was quickly able to procure the tile for us. This particular tile is a special order so it would take a week. I purchased Jerusalem Gold limestone tiles for the entire exterior of a residential project. The tiles were installed 4 years ago and looked great at first. However, after normal exposure to the elements it became apparent that fillers had been used to camouflage serious imperfections and blemishes in the tiles which were sold as first quality. The artificial fillers have fallen out and those that remain have changed color. In short, there are a lot of rugged holes that look terrible and off colored fillers that will eventually crumble, leaving more holes. The quality control does not match the price point of the tiles and I would never purchase this product again!
