I visited the store with my sister Susan, to try and figure out what piece of granite she needed, to go on top of her bar, outside, at her pool deck area. Melissa Rivera, was our customer service representative. Melissa, was very knowledgeable! Melissa, knew what colors clashed with the others, and what didn't! Melissa, showed us several different pieces to choose from, that would work with the color bricks on the bar, on the pool deck, and in the pool. Melissa was not only knowledgeable, but she was very kind! She offered us a bottle of water, and we gladly accepted. She was not pushy, she did not try and force anything. Melissa explained it to the tee! Oh, and she is easy on the eyes too! If you need any type of stone, go to the UMI store and ask for Melissa!

Renae was phenomenal - she pointed me to quartz that met the color scheme. A 20 min appointment quickly helped me decide what Quartz was best. Sample sizes were 24” by 8’ + and was super helpful.

Although UMI has a great selection of granite, I can not recommend them. We purchased multiple slabs for our Kitchen and laundry room counter remodel. My designer and I confirmed the slabs Twice. Yet somehow the wrong slab was installed on my kitchen Island. It has been over a month now and there is still to resolution. UMI is fighting with the fabricator over who is going to pay for the mistake. The manager at UMI refuses to call me so that we can discuss the situation. I am so disappointed that UMI has chosen to argue and place blame on another company instead of just making this right with their customer. My contractor and designer will no longer use them for projects because of this and so they have already lost more money than if they would have just made this right from the start. So disappointing to see such horrible customer service.

The customer service, quality of materials and selection is wonderful!

I bought marble from UMI for my kitchen Island. It was labeled with Antolini's A-Zerocare. It stained terribly bad with just ordinary food, not acids. The UMI Rep and the Antolini rep both came out to my house and said it was defective not only on the surface but down both waterfall sides. Both UMI and Antolini's REFUSE to take responsibility and fix the problem.

They fire people with disabilities here. I would not do business with this company. I was fired for missing to much work for being in the hospital with a diabetic blackout, as well as having Covid.
