Had a great time working with Ralph and the team, he went the extra mile for me all steps of the way and the bathroom counters they fabricated for us came out incredible. The best part was how communicative the whole team was, really couldn't recommend their work more, everybody was a pleasure to work with!

I was looking for a 13"x26" piece of countertop. I called several places to get same answer, it will take over a week to get it. I am visiting from VA and wanted to complete this work before leaving this weekend. I called Venetian and Rafael said to just head to Venetian, pick the remnant and they can cut immediately. I was so thrilled and went there and got the piece I wanted for a very reasonable price along with caulking to attach the piece to cabinet. I am thankful to Rafael, Antonio and Jake (I believe) for such a speedy, best work and customer service.
Per my recent efforts to get a new countertop installed, I contacted a few companies in our area, specifically BC Granite, Boncore, Stoneworks, Sutherlands, and Venetian. I considered, but did not call Castorena Marble & Granite per its reviews.
For those I have not dealt with before (Stoneworks and Venetian in this case), I’ll always contact via their website or leave a message during closed hours to see how they respond. In many cases per my experience in the building industry, the sales process (i.e. when the company is trying to get your money) is most often when that company will be the most responsive. So if they flub-up this, then you should expect it to go downhill from there.
All companies responded except Venetian. I even left Venetian two messages, but heard nothing after two weeks. Per my research, I do suggest BC Granite (although I think they are a bit pricey), Boncore, Stoneworks, and Sutherlands, but not Venetian.
• I suggest BC Granite, Stoneworks, and Sutherlands per work they have done or are doing for me all with complete satisfaction.
• I suggest Boncore per how they responded to my requests and tried to work with me on my project, although in the end they required a minimum square footage that did not met my needs.
You will see no mention above of big box stores such as Home Depot and Lowes. Per my constant pulse and research, I believe the install process for these is a roll of the dice. That is, you may or may not get a good installer depending on who they are using/assigned to you at the time of your project. Per this, I would not recommend either.
Finally, my suggestion is for any project in the building industry, first focus on a reputable company, how long their specific company has been in business (but not how long they have in general been in the industry), past reviews, customer service, follow-on support, and quality of workmanship. Develop a short list, and then and only then if important, address the cost of the project. Never do it the other way around as so many tend to do; this is a HUGE mistake in my opinion. If you focus is price, make your life simple and just go to Home Depot and be done with it.

We have used Venetian Marble & Granite twice now--once for a quartz countertop in our master bathroom (2018) and once for a cambria countertop for our guest bathroom (2019). Both times, we experienced them being on time and fair, and our installs went perfectly. Both times they were great with helping us pick out what would be the exact right piece for our bathrooms. I would definitely use them again!
Gorgeous choices, personal service with great attention to detail, pride of workmanship, insanely fast fabrication and install, and a breathtakingly beautiful result. I am an interior designer and I have worked with many stone companies. I am hooked on this experience and will be a repeat customer for life. Thank you Ralph and team!
