We used TCC to do our master bath remodel in 2022. We did a kitchen remodel with them 2023-2024. Our project was simple. We kept the same floor plan and mainly updated what we had. Demolition was done 11/11/23 and the project was completed 2/19/24. I would not have believed this was the same company that did our master bath. There were consistent problems with scheduling and no shows. I heard so many promises and apologies that it was sickening. We were left with a half done project for 2 months. Sometimes we would have only 3 hours of work done in a week. I had to constantly update them on what still needed to be done. The quality and price are good. The workers are skilled and pleasant. Somehow this project was so mismanaged. Even when it was completed no one checked in to see if we were pleased. I would not be inclined to use them again.

Countertop installation gone wrong. We had bathroom countertops installed with no issues last year, so we figured we would use them again to replace a very poorly installed kitchen counter. The new kitchen countertop installation process from the start of the project was poorly managed. The lead installer was inexperienced, lost his support during part of the installation process which delayed the installation. The window framing wasn't measured properly which also delayed the project. Once an additional helper came, he made inappropriate comments. They did not put down any drop clothes or paper to protect my floors. They covered my home in dust and debris with no cleaning up afterward. The worst is that they spilled acetone on my concrete stained floors which now needs to be repaired. We are two weeks out and have had no support. We are still waiting for them to let us know when they are going to fix it. Yes, they had someone on Monday come and look, but again it's been 4 days with no news. Also, there are perfectly symmetrical circle marks on my new quartz counters due to the large acetone bottle being left on the counter. Again, waiting for someone to come and look at them. This is over two weeks since the initial installation. What should have been a 6 hour job was two days of nonsense and now two weeks of calling and asking what are you going to do about it. Just saddened thinking I was going to have a beautiful kitchen and the lack of concern from the Countertop Company. I would hope they communicate better and hire more experienced installers in the future.

We worked primarily with Dakota Kremer. Initially, he was responsive with answering majority of our questions. He stopped responding after the job was completed. The actual job was very sloppy. We got our countertops installed approximately two weeks ago; and I didn't write this review initially as I wanted to give them time to respond to my emails. Once on the actual job, they are a very impersonal/impolite team and the final outcome was very sloppy. I have scratches/wall damage in many places on my walls, they left a ton of random screws all over the place, including in multiple cabinets, they left dirt all over the place, and didn't inform me that they couldn't complete the sink flange installation until the very end (which didn't allow me to go to the store and grab the part in time while they were here) - their response to the scratches/wall damage was that we just just get paint and patch it up! I also asked for my remainder piece of material, and they want to charge me $75 to deliver it. It's going to cost me more than $75 to buy paint, re-paint all the patches, etc., and they still haven't responded to my email in regards to my material. It's been almost a week now. They also don't listen to instruction very well. Customer service is very important to us; while we understand people can make mistakes, we expect the issues to get fixed/resolved. But they are not willing to resolve our concerns. Overall, would not recommend them unless you find less than average work acceptable. They are also not cheap. The only reason I chose them to begin with is because they were somewhat of a one-stop-shop; however, now, I need to get paint, patch things up, etc etc, and I would have been much more satisfied working with a different company that guarantees their work and cares for customer service.

I wanted to thank Randy and his team for a job well done. I contacted Randy for an outdoor project and he had some suggestions including a back waterfall edge which worked out great. His installers were excellent and his staff was very friendly. I contacted Randy at least a handful of times with questions and he always provided a prompt and honest answer every time. He also caught that our sub-top was short by a couple inches and helped coordinate a fix with my cabinetry sub-contractor. Dekton in case anyone is considering it seems like a great product for an outdoor top. There were a few small chips which is expected in an outdoor tight assembly like the one I had (see photos) but they were repaired and sealed nicely and overall we are very satisfied with their work.

If you want quality people, workmanship, and professionalism at a fair price, head to The Countertop Company (TCC) in Escondido. I have hired them twice. The first time I was able to buy a remnant for my Primary bath vanity. Randy was very helpful in helping me find the perfect one. I was so happy with them that when it was time to do my kitchen countertops I went back to Randy and we started the process again. Everyone at The Countertop Company was pleasant to work with, professional, careful in my home and all had great personalities! Randy was great! Drayden came and measured my kitchen and was super and helped me make decisions on things like to have "wings" or not. How far over the edge to extend the countertop, and different kinds of cutting and edging. He listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions based on his experience. Monica was awesome at scheduling everyone and keeping me informed through the process. When Carlos and Johnny came to install the countertops they were fabulous. They worked well together and made a great team. Carlos had also installed by vanity top. What great guys who went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right and with smiles on their faces. I couldn't ask for a better experience! Thank you to everyone at TCC!

Excellent customer service! I needed a slab to build a stone top table and Randy at TCC delivered! TCC is special in that they have a remnants yard as well as whole slabs and they handle the fabrication as well. They are a one stop shop! Randy was very patient with us since we were new to this process and even though our project was small (just a tabletop not a whole kitchen) we didn't feel any less important. Go to TCC for your stone and fabrication needs!

We had our kitchen countertops and backsplash replaced by this company. The staff (Monica and Jim) were very professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our kitchen remodel was a pleasant experience. The type of work that went into installing our Dekton countertops far exceeded our expectations. The countertops were cut to the determined size and were precisely put in place according to the original design. Their tile worker Melchor was amazing. His 27 years of experience were evident during and at the conclusion of the installation process. If your looking for quality work, a business that cares and an overall good experience than check out TCC!

Once you've decided to replace your kitchen countertops, there are 3 phases: 1) selecting who will do the work; 2) demo; and 3) install and end result. The most important is selecting the company to do the work. We selected TCC after talking with two other installers --- and are we glad we did! We visited TCC's showroom in Escondido and selected our product. TCC sent out a tech to precisely measure our surface area and scheduled demo and install for about a week later. TCC's demo team was superb and no easy task to remove old tile, concrete mud and wire under tiles, and to cut down a pony wall for a large single surface counter. We ran into a few glitches but were able to resolve all. You don't "see" the demo in the end product but it's a significant part of the job. Once the demo and prep work were complete, the new surface went on. Old construction had its "out of level" issues but TCC's installers were adept at making it right --- and we have only one seam which is all but invisible. A key advantage of TCC, imo, is a team approach to design, demo and installation, with four techs doing the final installation and finish. Below are two pics: one of the demo and another of the final top. Don't mind the lack of backsplash ---- we're going to install our own. Very price competitive and top quality work from start to finish. We're 100% satisfied and give a very high recommendation.

Love the new kitchen Quartz countertops! Countertop Company did an awesome job starting with Jason helping us pick the right product and giving us an estimate. We were concerned that our Travertine back splash would need repair after demolition. The crew was so careful, not one tile was disturbed. They respected our property. Monica and Denise in front office kept us informed and helped us find a replacement sink at a great price. Rob took the lead on install and safely rerouted plumbing. He had a solution for every small issue encountered. We are so pleased and our kitchen looks like a new place!

Had a very good time working with this company. This is my 3rd time using them for bathroom vanity work. They have a good selection to choose from. When picking a counter it's kinda hard to know what to pick but when working with bob he made it really easy to decide on. This is a local business so I hope whoever reads this takes that into consideration when choosing to work with them. Thank you for everything guys and gals.

The Countertop Company was great! They were informative, communicative, and offered very fair prices. They explained everything in great detail, and followed through with everything. Even throughout the demo process, the guys kept my kitchen pretty darn clean. Their attention to detail didn't go unnoticed. I would have no hesitation in using them when I remodel my bathroom countertops.

We were in need of remodeling our countertops. After doing our diligent research, we decided on this company. Since the beginning of our process, all of our questions were answered in a timely manner. Price was very competitive, and the quality of work outstanding. One thing to note is that there may be some rescheduling done. It is NOT a big company and it helps to be flexible, considering the price and quality of work. We all have to wait sometimes (so I did!). But it was very well with it. When there was an issue, they quickly resolved it. This company stands for high quality professional work, great attention to customer service, and most importantly, they value their business. We highly recommend the Countertop Company as they are one of the best companies we have worked with!

I am extremely satisfied with the product and skilled installation from The Countertop Company. Randy helped me choose Silestone Charcoal Soapstone Quartz when I said I wanted a honed/sueded finish. They also provided a tile installer for the backsplash (Mel is outstanding). Price seemed more reasonable than other quotes - maybe because they were not trying to renovate the entire kitchen? Definitely satisfied.

I called several companies to quote new counter tops for our master bath, office and laundry remodel. TCC was by far the most responsive, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I sent Jim a sketch and quickly received a comprehensive quote at a good price. They were also able to save me money on the purchase of materials to match our existing granite. Great communication throughout the entire process. Every employee was courteous and professional. From quote, contracts, material purchase, templating and installation the process was easy and expertly completed. Great company that does quality work, in a timely manner at affordable prices. I will definitely be using them on our kitchen remodel later this year.

My husband and I called up the wonderful people from The Countertop Company to get a quote and see what options they had. I am so thankful my husband called them, they have so many different kinds if counter to select from that I went with a Granite for the kitchen and a quartz for my bathroom. They are extremely knowledgeable and will give you advice on what they think may work better. I was going to just throw granite in the bathroom too, when I was told it is more absorbent and my makeup might stain it over time, but that quartz wouldn't do that! So I trusted their professional opinion and I couldn't be happier. It is beyond what I ever hoped for! The staff that installed it were also very thorough and professional, made sure to follow through with instructions on letting the counter sit for the night before touching and called up a few days later to see how we were happy with it. Thank you Countertop Company!!

Me and my wife have been building out our new kitchen and were stressed about what to pick for material and color scheme. We went there and talked with the owner and he directed us to some amazing materials and colors to go with what we had. When install day came I met with Bob, Dakota, and Brody. They were unbelievably fast and clean, not to mention extremely kind and professional. We had absolutley no problems. They took extreme care in protecting our existing floor and cabinets. If anyone is looking to have no hassle stress free deal, this is the company to go to. Pay attention to the countertop in my photos as the kitchen is unfinished and still having things modeled and installed. Its literally the most accurately measured and installed countertop I have seen!

The Countertop Company installed two new bathroom counter tops and a portion of a third counter top (which had been left undone by the previous contractor). The final cutting measurements were accomplished by Kelton, who was very professional and helpful. The installations were completed by Pablo and Erick, who were both excellent and proficient craftsmen. They were diligent workers who treated our home carefully; it presents somewhat of a challenge being a three-story town home with narrow wooden staircases. They were also polite and good about communicating their process to us. We are extremely pleased with the outstanding results and strongly recommend Pablo and Erick.

Very good service. Starting from the salesman named Jason Shepard. Guided us thru every aspect of the counters and backsplash. Spent a lot of time helping us sort thru all counter material makeup. They came on time for start of the job. Very courteous and professional. They took extra steps to insure little mess as possible. The finishing touches on the back splash are done by a very meticulous tech named Mel. Our kitchen was down for a very short time. The bathroomcounters were done also very nice. We very much would recommend this company ! It's great to know there is such a good business like this in Escondido. Kudos and greatest heartfelt thanks !

The Countertop Company fabricated and installed my quartz countertops in my kitchen after another contractor had fallen through. Jim and Monica were very accommodating to my schedule, as well as friendly and courteous to work with. Rob and his son completed the installation and did an amazing job- I couldn't have asked for better. After the counters were completed I noticed that my dishwasher was wobbly. Assuming it was an issue with counter installation I contacted Jim in sales to get the matter resolved. Although I discovered that the problem was due to another company's mistake, Rob came all the way to Downtown San Diego from Escondido to make the 5 minute fix. The issue was taken care of days after I called. I wish I could clone the employees at the Countertop Company for the rest of the house. I can't recommend them enough- thanks!!!

We used The Countertop Company for our bathroom install a couple years back. Staff was very professional and flexible both at their store and on the install visit. Jason made recommendations that helped us pick the quartz slab that will fit our needs best, and the final product is very high quality, and looks great! Prices are competitive and they will even help with some little odd ball requests (we had some left over slab, and they made a couple little side table tops for us, per my measurements, for a reasonable fee). Highly recommend!

Found this company through Yelp and I'm really glad I did. Had a small project of finding a stone slab to place on top of a steel table frame we already had and even though my project must've been small compared to others redoing their entire kitchens, I did not feel any less important at TCC. Randy was a dream to work with. He was patient and thoroughly explained how the process worked. This was great for me since I was completely new to the entire process. Monica was great with scheduling. This company actually calls when they say they will and actually arrives in the estimated window!! TCC was very easy to work with for me, a novice. They had a show room where you could order materials, a stone yard, and also remnants! This was great since I only needed a small slab to fabricate a tabletop. I love our finished table and plan to work with them again on future projects!

We are so impressed from start to finish with our experience with Jason and the installers. We read the reviews before we went with this company. We didn't want to go to the two big box stores and wanted to patron locally. Our kitchen is stunning with our new Silestone counter tops. Jason helped with the selection and even took us to the new showroom so we could see the slabs up close. Professional, fair priced and job done when they said they would have the work done. Excellent!!!

We replaced countertops, sinks etc in our baths and kitchen, plus mirrors and shower doors. We contracted some carpentry and electrical work via the Company as well. The Company representatives and workers were professional and a pleasure to encounter. Despite the usual delays and minor unanticipated problems of construction, the Company employees remained in constant contact, and responded to our needs and concerns on a timely basis. I can recomend them highly. B. H. San Diego, Ca.

The Countertop Company recently replaced the tile countertop and bar in my condo with a beautiful quartz and a tile backsplash. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. Jason was very helpful in advising us and patient with our decision making. Scheduling was prompt and efficient and the installers were all quick, courteous, and careful to clean up afterward. All finishing touches were beautiful. I highly recommend this company.

These guys really made our experience a great one. The ONLY company in SD that could give us a HUGE one piece slab in quartz. The price was even super competitive with other companies. We originally went through IKEA but they limit what they can do for you so we got our $ refunded. They don't allow certain sizes, edges, etc. So we called all around and these guys made the whole experience easy and painless. The installers did a GREAT job of making sure everything was even and looked good. They weren't in a rush and were super cool. Very pleased with our experience with The Countertop Company!

We had our kitchen and bathroom remodeled in May. Jason the salesman was so helpful making sure to get us the products we loved. The installation of our quartz counters were done by Tony, Kenny & Angel they were professional, polite, covered my floors, and cleaned up inside and outside my home. Tony was very thoughtful that everything was done to our satisfaction truly refreshing to see someone of his age have such a great attitude and work ethic. Mel did all the back splash installation and he also made sure everything was perfect and to our satisfaction. We would highly recommend them to our friends and family as well as use this company again. Sincerely, Scott & Michelle Parish

I highly recommend this company. I shopped around and read reviews to try and figure out which company to use. It was going to be a big project and I wanted to make sure I got the right company. Randy my sales person was fantastic. He was so repsonsive to all my questions and always got back to me either same day or next. Randy came out for the estimate and I got my estimate back within a day or two. I local company that gave me estimate took 2 weeks and then another company I'm still waiting on! So I went with TCC and I am so happy I did. Like I said, Randy was awesome. Very professional and was patient with all my questions. I felt the prices were fair and they worked with me when we had to add more tile. The back office support Selene was great and answered all my questions on the bill. The workers worked hard at my house and were very professional and did a wonderful job. You will not need to look any further. I am very picky and I really want a fair, honest company especially when you are doing big projects around the house. This is a great company and I'm actually having them come back to do my bathrooms.

The Countertop Company did a great job on two bathrooms and a kitchen, It was one stop shopping as they took care of everything from demo to plumbing to installation. My job included some counter reconfiguration in the kitchen to allow replacement of my drop in stove with a full sized one. Everyone loves my quartz counter tops. The job was done quickly. Day one they completed both bathrooms and got a lot done in the kitchen In short order I had a lovely new surfaces, sinks and faucets installed in all three rooms.

TCC did a quartz island countertop for us about 8 years ago. It was time for the rest of the kitchen to be done, so we dropped in to TCC on a Saturday afternoon. They welcomed us and Jorge took all the time in the world to review styles. No rush, no pushy sale-just care for what we were looking for. We found Quartz and splash tile, and Jorge drove out that day to do initial measurements. The install was really quick - one week from template to completed install (including splash). Jorge was available by text and phone at all times and he always responded within minutes to any questions. Celine in the office was wonderful to work with regarding billing and invoices. When there was some correction to do on a window sill, Bob was out quickly and it was repaired quickly. Truly, it was a wonderful experience. Jorge and TCC made us feel like we were their only customers. Service was fantastic. Remodels aren't fun and we were going through a huge one. Jorge and TCC were an absolute pleasure to work with, precisely what we needed. I recommend them as highly as possible.

Right before we listed our house on the market we decided that we needed to redo our countertops and paint the cabinets. I called Jorge at The Countertop Company. He was so helpful and was able to help get the countertops done quickly and beautifully. He also connected us with a painter for our cabinets. Their prices were very fair and we more than made that much back in the sale of our home. We got 6 offers the first weekend and everyone commented that they loved our kitchen. I couldn't recommend these guys enough!

Jorge and the team were great. Took all of our needs into consideration and during a lengthy deliberation on our part were able to complete the job on time and even came back to sort out some minor issues after installation. A great job and highly recommended.

Let's be honest -- things don't always go right the first time. Not surprisingly, that was my experience with Jorge Cruz and The Countertop Company. But what was critical was their commitment to make everything right, which they absolutely did. A committed group of professionals who should change their name to The Everything Company.
