I don't normally write reviews but this particular one is long overdue. Firstly, I want to give a big shout out to Celia from the design consultant team for an AMAZING experience. This was my first remodeling project so it was quite overwhelming. She was very patient and detailed. She had great insights from flooring to tiles for the kitchen and bathroom. She gave more than 100% of customer service. I am very satisfied with the finished product.

Have patience here, but the staff is helpful. Long wait times, but worth it in the end. They do custom cabinets for most bathroom designs. Some high end toilets and fixtures like Toto or Hansgrohe. Nice mable and vinyl tile selections. I personally liked working with Forrest. He speaks the clearest English (but Chinese as well). You actually can get a better deal and quality here that your average box store like Homedepot for example. They have parking thank God cause it's not the best neighborhood to be in.

Huge selection in a large showroom with mostly finish materials for kitchens and bathrooms such as solid surface countertops, sinks, toilets, faucets, etc. Prices seem lower than other similar stores and definitely cheaper than big box stores. There are a lot of staff available, and they are very helpful with basic design questions. You can ask them for install services, but that labor seemed expensive. Overall highly recommend.

I bought some faucets for a remodel. I was informed they don't refund.
Then my plumber informed me one of the faucets was not working as expected. He bought a new one (and charged me) from another company. He told me to return the one from East Star to the store for a refund.
When I physically attempted to do this, they refused to accept the return. When I called them and asked for a manager, they hung up on me. I attempted to file a credit card dispute but the CC company decided to side with them. I am stuck with a faucet ($500) I don't need, and that doesn't work anyway.
Between East Star policies, and their rudeness in person and on phone, I strongly recommend you avoid shopping there. Their prices are good, their customer service is terrible.

I would like to give a shout out to Celia, who is helping us to design kitchen cabinets, choose material, inside divider, flooring, backdrop, countertop, etc. Her knowledge and service are top-notch. She expertly coordinated colors from the kitchen cabinets to the flooring, lights too. In addition, she is very passionate about her job and her service goes above and beyond. She follows all material orders timely. I am very happy with how our kitchen remodeling turned out.

Shopped for flooring and had a terrible experience. This was my first time purchasing flooring and I was recommended to come here for their price and selection. I was told to measure the space and add a 10% buffer. I did that and had them confirm my math. They told me 21 boxes was plenty but they didn't have the color in stock for another 2 months. Fine. I delay my project for 2 months and called to confirm they had the inventory.
When my contractor goes to pick it up, they only had 19 boxes. They told me I could wait another 2 months or get a different color because their "inventory tracking was wrong." At this point, I've waited three MONTHS and they probably sold my inventory to someone else.
They then tell me I'm also 5 boxes short even though my measurements are correct... isn't that your job as a sales rep to help me figure out how many boxes I needed?? Especially when I asked for your expertise??
Overall, regret coming here and would not recommend to anyone.

This review is for a thumbs up for sales associate Fong Tan. She is very knowledgeable and helped us with our kitchen layout and custom cabinet order.
Her customer service is beyond the best.
She replied very quickly to our phone calls and emails and answered all of our questions. We bought our kitchen cabinets, counter tops and appliances from here. I would definitely recommend Ms. Fong Tan for your remodeling project. :-)
