So, I chose these folks because of their online ratings and the fact that they are local family-owned business. Aside from some issues, I am giving 5 stars because we stumbled a bit from the start with communication and planning but despite this, Bonni was responsive and rose to the challenge to correct and communicate. We had a small challenge with the material selection, but again, Bonni didn't miss a beat with working with me on a new selection and a timely fashion for remedying the issue. Stuff happens when jobs like this are retro-fits, as opposed to a new install. Bonni's team rose to the challenge. When it was all said and done, I am 100% satisfied and pleased with the results in this challenging old house!

Stone Central did a great job on my recent need in kitchen countertops. Many thanks to Bonni, Heather and the team at Stone Central. They were nice and easy to work with, and very customer oriented in design, material selection, layout and fabrication. The installation team was also good not only on installing the new countertops but also pulling off the old. They responded to all after installation questions efficiently and professionally had all potential issues addressed. I strongly recommend Stone Central and will use them again for my future needs.

I rate Stone Central five stars! We have had countertops that were installed when this house was built in 2002. (we bought in 2016). They were black granite and had one unsightly seam near the sink. The main problem with our kitchen was the unsightly sink that was constructed with some king of fiberglass or composite material. Over the years this sink was worn and was originally installed in such a haphazard manor that it collected mold, and it also hid the turn off valves under the sink. To replace the sink, we were told that we had to have one specially made to fit the space under the current countertop. Every plumber and construction person we talked to just shook their heads when they saw our sink. The sink was odd shaped, and we had estimates of $1200 to $1800 to have one specially made. So, we contacted Stone Central in Summerville, and they made rough measurements to replace the countertop. Then an employee of the company came and did laser measurements of our kitchen to replace the countertop and sink; he was very professional and knew what he was doing. So, with not too extreme cost above replacing the sink only, we had our countertops replaced with a nice light-colored quartz. Stone Central came and removed the old countertops and replaced them with their new ones and the result was a precision replacement that just boggled my wife and my minds. They completed the job in about three hours and the crew that came out were highly skilled and very polite. The sink replacement was amazing! I highly recommend Stone Central for any countertop job for their excellent work and commitment. Stone Central is a unique company that will follow through with their promises and finish the work with satisfaction.

Man I wish I could give 0 stars! Please please please do not spend your money with this company of icon construction. They are a husband and wife duo and they are awful. They seem very nice in the beginning but their work is awful. The do not do quality work and they blame you for anything that may be wrong with what their people did. The cabinets they installed are the worst quality cabinets and I could’ve done a better job installing them. They had to come out on 4 different occasions just to try to fix the cabinets and they are still awful. 2 days after cabinets were installed a whole section came off of the wall because it was installed improperly. Their electrician ruined our brand new backsplash. The plumber didn’t install the toilet correctly and it was leaking the next day, but that was our fault. The painters got our kitchen window off of track and that was our fault. Graham the project manager broke some blinds but hey they were already broken according to him. He “fixed” them with some cardboard. I had to go to Home Depot anytime the contractors needed caulking or supplies even though Graham made 10k just for directing the project. The quartz countertops bought and installed from stone central are the worst. They say they can handle anything well that is a lie. The electrician had a huge knick in one section before the project was even done. I am so angry at myself for paying them in full. I will tell anyone and everyone to stay away. I emailed Sam/Icon who is affiliated with stone central giving him a chance to respond before I blasted them and it has been 48 hours with no reply. I have a feeling I will get no reply from them. I will be filing a claim with BBB and I will put it on every social media platform because people work hard for their money and these people provide horrible quality work and product. Sam and Graham had an excuse for everything. I am positive we were treated different because we are women. There is no way Graham would’ve had the balls to talk to a grown man the way he spoke to us. I had to hear over and over how long he has been in the business and he knows more than me. Man i don’t care how long you’ve been doing this, you suck!! I am embarrassed of our brand new kitchen. BEWARE!!!! Just a few photos so they can’t say that I am lying to everyone. Trust me I will not stop because they should not be allowed to operate a business like this. I am going to post this exact thing on icon construction and every local fb/neighborhood page that I possibly can. There are way too many other options out there for people to waste their money on this place. I can’t believe they have made it this many years in the business

Great price, beautiful countertops, excellent service and customer care! The large piece of granite broke on the day of installation while they were getting it into place, but no problem, they were there with a new piece that matched the others perfectly, with a larger crew THE NEXT MORNING. Even when things go wrong, they make it right, right away! We love love LOVE our new countertops!
