So glad we decided to stop in at Paxton Countertops. We chose a beautiful quartz, ‘Sonora’ for our benchtop. Daniel assisted us throughout the process including our sink and faucet. He was patient and helped create a relaxed environment. James, facilitated scheduling measuring and installation. Jared, did the measurements for the template. Payton and Riley installed the counter and sink. We had a situation that could have delayed installation but Payton and Riley figured out a solution and tackled the job with ease. Every person I encountered was professional and answered all my questions. Kitchen remodels can be quite stressful and this company eased my stress during the process because of their open communication and providing solutions when we came across an issue. Thank you all for your guidance and helping me create my new kitchen. My countertop is lovely and the new sink ‘Cairn’ by Kohler is much better than I expected. I initially wanted a full bowl but am glad I chose the smart divide double bowl. It is perfect for our needs.

I so wish there were more than 5 stars to choose. I cannot say enough about how great Paxton Countertops has been. From the start to the finish top notch customer service. From the start I had immediate response by email from Allison. I actually had two quotes and picked out granite before even receiving quotes from other places. Their prices are so fair and the turnaround time is AMAZING!! I was kindly walked through the whole process and the communication could not have been better. I even told them that I wanted to work there because everyone was so great and the guys that came to do the install knew I said that. I couldn’t find the location for the final inspection and the lady stayed on the phone with me until I found the door. Their professionalism is outstanding. I know I don’t have everyone’s names but I would extend a huge shout out to Allison, Travis, James, Payton, and Riley!! I still can’t get over how beautiful our countertop is and the quality of the craftsmanship. Paxton Countertops should write a book on customer service!! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!!!

We were extremely lucky when our realtor recommended this contractor! We had a very tight timeline and knew we couldn't go with a "big box" store. I called and spoke to Paige Paxton and she assured me they would be able to complete the job in 3 weeks and bonus they have "Live Inventory" online of remnants. I easily chose one at a fraction of the cost. Template and installation were done eggicientvand professionally. I will be using them in my next home!!

Peyton and Caleb did a fabulous job on tearout and installation of our new countertops. They were very careful and detail oriented. Just can't say enough on how good they were. Nick took care of all the plumbing and we were totally pleased with the results. Overall, our experience with Paxtons is 5 star all the way. They clearly understand the importance of customer service.

We had a wonderful experience with Paxton from start to finish. They were all so friendly. They listened to our wishes and brought them to life. Josh and Collin were amazing with the install; and funny. They explained everything so beautifully and answered all of our questions. And the seam....the seam is hardly noticeable. Amazing work! I have attached pics, bet you can't find the seam. 😉 The entire process from first contact to install was 3 weeks. We are so pleased with our experience.

They may be the pinnacle service in their industry. Heck, they may be the pinnacle of service in general. From Sarah at the showroom, to Pete and Gilbert doing the install, this has been one of the greatest customer service experiences in my lifetime. Apologies for the long post. I was having a bad experience with another installer in the area, having waited almost three weeks to get a response back from them. At that point I decided it was time to change companies. From the minute I walked into their showroom on Saginaw, they took the time to help me through this journey. Sarah taking the time to listen to my nightmare that I had just gone through, and truly showing empathy to my situation. For being the first interaction I had with Paxton, my anxiety was at a high point, but she took the time to let me vent and help me with the situation. From there, she told me that their lead time had been around 10 -14 days from purchase to install... let that sink in for a minute. If you've had to deal with any trades during this pandemic, 10-14 days is a crazy low number, so I was skeptical. Especially when they told me my measurement and template was going to be 7 days from purchase, and install date was going to be 7 days after that (Black Friday nonetheless.) But there we were, seven days out and Matt was at my house doing the template. Right on time. Professional. Knowledgeable. And generally a good person. Had the answers to all of my questions. I tend to be a little nosey because I too am in the trades, but he took the time to explain exactly what he was doing and the next steps. From there I had to confirm my slabs at the warehouse on Waverly Rd. Even there I was treated as though I was the only customer. Prompt service from when I walked through the door from a nice young lady with whom I cannot remember her name (Sorry!) She immediately took an interest in what my project was, took the time to talk with me about it and even wanted to see pictures. It was a short rendezvous, however I left feeling like I had made the right choice to go with Paxton. But the big challenge awaited, the dreaded install technicians (play dramatic music here.) Now, trade technicians have a bad reputation, so any small improvement from "Joe the countertop installer," with his baggy pants, untucked, raggedy shirt and general dislike of his job, would have been a great start for them. But no, I was sent Pete and Gilbert. Two of the best people I've had the pleasure of having in my home. Professionalism is defined by them. They cared about the project. They cared about ALL of their projects, as you can see from Pete's phone, and the pride he takes when showing you pictures of previous work he had done. Not to mention his personal work that he does outside of his "job." I learned he has a nickname around the shop, and its "Petoskey Pete," which will make more sense if you're lucky enough to have him as your installer. Gilbert was right there with him, step for step. There was never a time that I felt like they didn't know what they were doing. There was never a gut feeling of "maybe I should have used someone else." It felt as though I had old friends stop by and gave me a hand with a project on the house. As for timeliness? Right on time. On Black Friday. I had even said to them, I thought they should have had the day off, and their response was along the lines of "this is just another day of the week." They never made me feel like this was a job to them, they truly enjoyed what they were doing. So, if you're thinking to yourself "what makes them so special?" I beg of you to find out. They are special. They are in the experience business, not just countertops. So from the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to all of the Paxton staff. You are amazing. If you are able to give this type of experience to even half of your customers, you've made this world a better place.

Needed repair to a cracked quartz countertop that was only five years old. Original installer did not offer repairs. Walked into Paxton’s new location on Saginaw after dropping something off at UPS nearby. Emily was extremely helpful and put me in touch with their repair specialist, Joel. The paid up-front cost seemed a little high at first, but Joel arrived right on schedule and repaired the bad crack and a chipped edge that was there since installation. He also resealed the seam near the crack that wasn’t sealed very well to begin with. I couldn’t be happier with the workmanship. Worth every penny. Joel was polite and considerate and 100% professional. Next time I need new countertops, I’ll be calling Paxton.
